A good selection of food and good service too.

Food was amazing, large variety and something for everyone, even the kids. From nuggets and pizza to Indian and Chinese currys, its a great value for money. They will even cook separate meals not included in the buffet on request. Unlimited refills on select soft drinks and a good selection of desserts and chocolate fountain.

My son had his birthday lunch here. Staff were great with the kids and the food was amazing! Great choice and very tasty. Definitely would go back again. Couldn't fault it 😁👌👍

I’m sitting here now in pommys and as usual it’s very nice. We tend to have one plate in the middle and help ourselves for the starters a plate each main aͣndͩ dessert We just had poppadoms and dips now on fish starters then Chinese Hubbys having main meal I’m going straight to desserts ツ Food is hot varied and delicious For people that are disabled there is enough space for a wheelchair but like me needing comfort and space to be able to put legs up with not on seats sort off thing Also has a partition I can lean on Doing this means I last the meal If your big like us there is enough room

Haven't been in years and it didn't disappoint. Great service from Angel, good variety of hot, fresh food and such a selection to choose from! Didn't really have room, but had to try dessert 😋 Great price too in comparison with other places. Left totally stuffed and had a good evening

Very nice convenient place for evening meal. Enjoyed the food. Main focus is Indian which we enjoyed. Not quite the range of food as some other world buffets but certainly a nice variety and worth the money.

Just back from pommys celebrating our granddaughters 13th birthday staff welcome you and food was very good small pieces of fish are superb would recommend !!

Sadly disappointed with the standard of food here. At £20 a head I was expecting better. There are plenty of buffets that charge similar and are so much better than Pommys. The staff are pleasant enough but if you're looking for a buffet, I'd look elsewhere.

Bought pommys takeaway from nisa and it bad several rather large pieces on bone in my rice and the chicken was going grey and slimy even though it was refrigerated and had 3 days on the best before date, had other issues with their tubs from nisa before, I’d recommend staying away or being willing to get sick

ETA 31st July 2024 - Just updating my review to add experience of home delivery. Still 5 star food! Ordered Donner pizza it was immense as always. Chips good, macaroni cheese out of this world delicious!! Korma one of the best I've ever had. Eating in or taking away there's never any fault with Pommys food! - - - 5/5 no hesitation whatsoever! Pommys is so underrated it's actually shocking! The pizza is to die for it is that good, the Donner meat is divine as is the calzone too, the Currys are delicious and they offer a good selection of various other pastas, nan breads, tikka, pakoraa the usual assortment of foods, 3 variations of chips, peri peri, sweet chilli, salt and pepper and regular chips. The salad bar is good too I'd not tried the tuna pasta until today and my god it was amazing! Unlimited refillable juice, Pepsi, Irn bru, Vimto and Lemonade to name a few. Can't comment on alcohol options but they have a bar to tend to those who want an alcoholic refreshment. And then... we talk about the desserts! The ice cream is delicious. Vanilla, Belgian chocolate, cookies and cream, Bubblegum! Raspberry ripple and a few more. Aaaaamazing! Then they have a cabinet full of cake, you're eyes literally don't know where to look, your hands don't know what to put on your plate or in your bowl first but the stand outs are the sponge cake and the red velvet cake my god! Honestly Pommys is such good food! 🤤 Hurry up and go already!

Nice birthday lunch for husbands with the family. Lots to choose from, food was delicious and hot. Well worth the money. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had a lunchtime meal and a great selection of buffet foods. The service was very good & the tables cleared very quickly. Especially enjoyed the seafood selection. It was pretty quiet at the time I visited, so I can't make comments on the atmosphere. My only small criticism is, as a beer drinker, there was only 2 beers on tap, both lagers. Overall I had a good lunch

Wasnt alot of food choices, could do with few more like seafood, beef curry, prawn thai etx, my chicken in curry looked bit pink, deserts was nice but big ice cream machine was still broke from friends been there weeks ago.

The food was very disappointing. The only way I could describe it is edible. The table wasn't outstandingly clean and the drink menu at our table was so sticky I immediately had to wet-wipe my hands. The hostess was nice but didn't seem to understand when informed about an allergy. The disabled toilet is good but there might as well not even be an emergency cord as it's right up by the ceiling. Wouldn't go back.

The food is tasty enough could be a little bit more healthier options. Good enough atmosphere service could be better. One waitress didn't have a clue.What she was doing on the prices was charged way too much For standard food not very happy, one of the waitresses are really nice. She is a lovely girl, but the other one doesn't have a clue what she's doing.👎

Amazing atmosphere and food quality is top notch. Cleanliness is on the top the best part at pommys. Staff is friendly and keep a checks on you if you need anything.

Booked for a family birthday. We arrived to find no one knew we were coming. Had to stand about for 10/15 minutes until they made us a makeshift table right in front of the bar. Couple of glasses arrived at table dirty and had to ask for clean ones. Beer was refilled in same glass. Food average to poor. Really disappointing overall. So glad there was a deal on offering 25% discount. I think that’s probably just to get people in though. Definitely won’t be back.

A fantastic variety of meals for the lunch buffet . Chinese , Indian and Italian. A great choice of starters and deserts too . All were very nice and a June discount applied . Fantastic fayre

Food was average, nothing exciting no wonder it 25% of must be desperate to get people in as place wasn’t that busy read comments about manager being rude yes he just stares I noticed they were using pizza boxes n plating stuff up using the buffet imagine if you ordered delivery n buffet was being used goodness me hardly fresh it is. That why don’t order deliveries from places that do buffet service. Parking isn’t the best either yiu have to pay maybe another way uo get people I. Offer discount parking as nicer places that have free parking.

Lovely fresh food with a wide selection of option's. Staff are very polite and efficient. Myself and my family really enjoyed our meal and will be back

We were pretty disappointed. Staff nice enough, but for the price you'd be better going elsewhere. This place caters for families who all want something totally different. Mains were few and disappointing. Never seen pilau rice that colour in my life - greyish with a hint of beige. It wasn't explained that we could ask for things that weren't on display. Table next to us seemed to get small, grilled lamb steaks but we were already on pudding - cheap ice cream and cake. Small kids would love the chocolate fountain. Defo wouldn't return - even tho we got some kind of cheap deal knocking a bit off the price.

Been here a good few times now and love it. Staff are very nice and polite . Love the food especially lamb chops . Everything there is tasty and lots of choice . Reasonable priced too . Very happy customer and will be there again soon .. 😀

What can I say? Pommy's was outstanding. We decided on a whim on our last night in Kirkcaldy to try the buffet and MY GOD it was such a brilliant idea, I just wish we had discovered it on our first night, not our last. High quality, well seasoned and varied food - there genuinely was something for everyone. We have been trying to find an excuse to drive from Leeds to Kirkcaldy, just to eat here again! Amazing waitstaff, one lovely waitress sat with a table of deaf diners and explained everything to them in detail using text on one of their phones - she was patient and kind and seemed to really care about her job. Honestly I would love nothing more than to be able to come back and eat here, please please please open a branch in Leeds!!

LOVE IT HERE! The best buffet in this area and the curry is fantastic. Staff are always brilliant and the place is great too. Can get views of the sea if you are at the front and the bottomless drink is only £2.50 (as many refills as you want). they have plenty of drinks selection. This place is quite Indian based however there are still plenty of chinese options available aswell. Pizza is okay but wouldn’t recommend the steak. Stick to the curry’s and it’s a great experience. Never had a bad meal here and have dined plenty of times

Food was dry tasted like it had sat there for hours not much variety noodles were stuck together most chicken dishes was hard and bland the kebab was like eating wood was disgusting cutlery had marks and dirt on it a baby could do a better job marks all over the wooden skewers they had Been used and just put back in for more use absolutely disgusting everything felt dirty staff were standing about while tables were dirty food was on the floor next to them do they not know how to use a sweep and brush my friend found 2 hairs in her food absolutely vile and the audacity to charge 2 pound waste fee because that food is awful,staff were more concerned about there eye brows and Nike leggings than customers!!!!

We went along for a small celebration. Place was quiet ..staff very friendly and helpful..food a real disappointment..we certainly were not spoilt for choice ..like a buffet should be ..at £20 a head ..plus extortionate drinks. £100 spent or wasted Also the stench from the toilets was vile. Which is right next to the dessert station. .safe to say we won't be back .

Was here yesterday for lunch Although I stay in Kirkcaldy it was my 1st time I have visited The outcome ! Superb Loads to choose from , they even made me a burger to order , dessert was delightful , cakes on offer were very tasty , ice cream a plenty , not to mention the bottomless soft drinks We will be back 👍👍

Awful experience. Save yourself the bother of going here and just pop into the iceland along the road from it and buy some bags of frozen kebab meat pastas etc. thats exactly what your being served here at an astounding price. Left after 5 mins with the look warm food untouched. This is a place for teenage mums to take their bairns to get a break from cooking chicken nuggets and chips so they can eat chicken nuggets and chips at a premium price. Avoid at all costs if you can cook at all.

Food was really good. The fresh muscles in the shells tasted a bit dry. All other food was great and there was a great selection.

Went in for an early birthday dinner. Everything was cooked fresh, and it was so amazingly good. The battered fish was so crisp and light, better than every chippy I've ever had in my life, bar one in the east neuk. The desert was scrumptious, not like most buffets where the desert is an afterthought. The place was spotlessly clean, and the service was great. I have actually never been to a buffet that I'd recommend more than this one. The only downsides were that the music was a bit too loud, and I personally don't like sitting in booths. Will 100% go back, and hopefully, our second visit will live up to our first. It's really tasty.

First time there. Delicious! What a selection! I’m quite a fussy eater but I certainly found lots of choice. Plates warm (very important for a slow eater like me) and food hot. Lots of cakes and a chocolate fountain but I had no room left so I’ll have to come back 🤣

Came on saturday with my wife for food and drinks great service fresh food and plenty choice had cocktails (potn star martini) only thing i would say was a bit much orange juice this place is a must if you lime buffet food and through this month March you get 25% off total bill yes that includes the drink

Visited with family. A good buffet, taste above average compared to other buffets. Special mention to the starters, probably one of the best if not best had at a buffet ever and excellent choice. The mains were standard along with the desserts. Toilets clean. Friendly service. Small things that could have improved the visit include replenishing some of the food more regularly along with the water for the ice cream scoop. Overall recommended. Also have a deal where take 25% off final bill just now which is a great deal.

Went to pommys for the first time on Sunday 25/2/24 the decor was lovely and toilets were immaculate. But the star of the show was the food, there were three of us and we all agreed that the food was amazing, will definitely be back.

It was our first time there and we didn't know how things worked-as in, do we go up to the bar for drinks etc. The guy who served us informed us of everything. He was very friendly and warm, we got peace to eat, no over fussing etc. The food was delicious. There was an authentic Indian karahi lamb curry on the bone. Beautiful! Plenty fresh salad on offer too. There's European dishes like pizza, burgers and steaks, freshly cooked to order. Macaroni cheese and a selection of seafood which changes every so often. They have a great selection of cakes and desserts too. Very clean. I can't fault this place!10/10

Best buffet around, so many choices

Visited Pommys for the first time today, by far the best world buffet I've been to. Everything I tried was very tasty and had a good selection of desserts. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back soon!

First time here, very disappointed food quite cold no starters to choose from, food put with wrong names ie which I thought was garlic potatoes, turned out to be spicy which I don't like just by luck I don't have an intolerance to spices. Cola was the best chicken corma was OK n the sweet nan was good. .

Food was not that good fish was just mushy and greasy anything pasta related was bland and tasteless. Don't even have normal water as a beverage. False advertisment of burgers and steak as it was nowhere to be seen. Service was ok they knew what they were doing and generally polite. Atmosphere was ok to be around and was relatively clean but quite dark. Overall It's pretty bad but not horrendously bad.

First time in and I won't be back food tasted odd and most of it was maybe room temp not a big selection as most of the food wasn't there when we went up for some some of the food wasn't labeled or was miss labeled service was good tho and the staff are nice and friendly but I still won't be back best part of the meal was the Pepsi and the deserts.

Really disappointed in our meal. Bad selection, definitely not a “world” buffet. Everything was tasteless. For the amount you pay it’s really not worth it. Was hoping the desert would make up for the bad meal but they looked even worse, I didn’t want to take anything as it was such a dirty area. However the staff are absolutely lovely and always had a smile.

Really enjoyed a midweek lunch here. The food I had was all very good - hot, well-stocked and a great variety. The live cooking station was a definite highlight, and we were impressed that they were willing to accommodate this during a quiet lunch service. The staff were attentive and quick to clear our dishes away. To top it all off, it was great value for money, especially when compared to competitors in the area. I'll definitely be back.

Visited today off the cuff after a walk, first visit, won't be the last. Good selection of food, all tasty but special mention for something that makes them stand out against other buffet places - the desserts, really good choice and good quality cakes rather than the usual let down. Only bit that I didn't particularly like is the booths, not a huge fan but that's totally personal preference.

What do I recommend? Where to start! Visited this evening for a mid-week feast and genuinely cannot state just how positive an experience it was. We were met at the door by a very friendly woman who led us to our seat,, got our drinks and wished us a pleasant meal. The food was exceptional! The buffet food was hot, fresh, tasty and plenty of choice. I ordered a couple of lamb chops and a burger from the fresh grill and a few minutes later, my newly cooked food arrived. It was juicy, and delicious. A special note has to be made about the staff, they were attentive without being intrusive, friendly but not overly so, and you got the feeling that they genuinely couldn't do enough to make the visit as positive as possible. Including making fresh food that wasn't even on the menu!! Three of us ate for a little over £50, and that included three free-refill juices and the all-you-can-eat evening buffet. Bravo guys! Utterly delicious. Casually mentioned maybe chicken bhuna for future menu and a portion was cooked instantly! which was very tasty. Service was friendly couldn’t have asked for any better. Thoroughly enjoyed especially with 25% off

I want to go on a rant about how abysmal this buffet is but I’ll just stick to bullet points Hard to find clean cutlery. Food quality is poor veg and salad options just sit in water. They don’t give you cutlery you have to get your own. Little to no service even though it was quiet, finished plates just lying on table. When they cook for you it takes eternity to bring to your table. Lumpy custard Lumpy curry sauce No parking There’s more but you get the gist. I will say though that the deserts are decent. One highlight in a wilderness of disappointment.

In today for lunch with my daughter and another family who had bever been to the place previously. Fantastic choice for the kids in addition to the varied selection for the adults. Good staff also who advised of selections for the live cooking station. Great...

Visited early evening, plenty food options but agree with other reviews in that I wouldn't call it a 'world buffet'. Have been to better, but have also been to worse. It's nothing to write home about, but there are few buffets that are! Slightly overpriced...

If you judge Indian food on how good the korma and peshwari naan is, then this is the best Indian food.

£65 for raw chicken and an upset stomach. Was still charged full price despite twice pointing out that the chicken was raw (showed the server) and that I felt ill as a result.

This place is absolutely disgusting, the food was barely cooked, hair in the pizza, pretty sure the chicken was off as I had diarrhoea for a week afterwards and my son was sick all over the table and they still demanded full payment. I wish...

Reasonable prices and good food for an all you can eat buffet. Can't really fault it for the cost.

Service was decent, unfortunately the food wasn't great and had obviously been sitting underneath heat lamps for a while. Hostess was nice enough to phone us a taxi when we were leaving though.
