to be honest we were quite dissatisfied with our experience, i came with my friend to get a coffee and do some uni work and we couldn’t of left quick enough. the tables were digusting looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while and the mugs had all brown rot on them. the coffees were average however staff were friendly and polite. Pastries were fresh but we was absolutely shocked with the sausage barm looked nothing like the social media posts. A massive cube of egg was really off putting and the bun was honestly quite dry and my friend was convinced the sausages were undercooked.

Per una romantica pausa pranzo con vista sul canale, fermatevi a questa bakery e gustate le deliziose eggs benedict. Concludete, poi, con uno dei dolci esposti in vetrina e un caffè. Una bontà straordinaria!

It’s a really nice little cafe on a VERY good location but the drinks and snacks were just slightly underwhelming. Granted I only got little bits compared to the other fancier bits they had on offer There was a wait time where you end up waiting aimlessly for a while and no one really knows where to stand Location makes up for everything though

Was hoping to try the Tiramisu French Toast but unfortunately they didn’t have any available. So tried a couple of pastries instead (almond croissant and cinnamon morning bun). Both were very good. Also purchased the Croissant Butter which was quite expensive at £9.50. However, this is something that I haven’t seen offered anywhere else and assume is unique to Pollen.

Great sweet and savoury offerings in a lovely spot by the canal. Very helpful staff and even when there’s a queue there is a steady stream of tables on a sunny day.

Visited Pollen in between meetings and had brunch. Ordered a bacon bap with a side order of a poached egg. Delicious and tasty. Good venue to work from. Coffee nice but I prefer mine a bit hotter.

Enjoyed a lovely brunch here. Food was excellent. Coffees were good, just small. Had to wait a little bit for a table inside but worth it. Very popular place being by the canal side. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely return to try other things on their menu and take away a loaf.

The old mill on Redhill street is beautifully refurbished and Ancoats Coffee Co held such promise with glass doors , indoor and outdoor dining space, twinkling fairy lights I chose outside in the lovely Mancunian sunshine to enjoy my cake and fresh orange drink, unfortunately this is where things start to go down hill, firstly cash is not accepted in this establishment, plastic is king, my cake looked like an appealing Madeira on its plate, I think it would have given the lovely refurbished bricks a run for their money, hard is too soft a word but not as hard as the seating, I think I am well padded in the posterior but These chairs WOW they were made of a galvanised material so to be expected but couldn’t you have invested in something soft to sit on ! One visit is enough for me. Not a

I’ve had a breakfast and evening meal here within the last month and I couldn’t speak highly enough of the food, service, vibe, value for money and overall experience. I had an amazing banni blue cheese burger most recently, which was absolutely fantastic, the blue cheese was complimented perfectly by a sweet onion chutney! My partner, and friends, all had a roast which also went down a treat! Strongly recommend a visit if you get the chance!

Nice relaxed space. Great cuts of steak, fresh and flavourful sauces, crisp hot fries, nice wine and cocktails. Brilliant gluten free options. And all very reasonably priced - steak, chips, sauce, and a glass of wine gave me change from £20! Well worth a casual lunch trip.
