Pod in Camden

I found a long brown hair in my soup (same type of hair the girl who was serving the soups had and was not wearing a hairnet). When I went back to let them know they almost acted as if it was normal which makes me doubt their hygiene standards in general.

It is near my work place so I tried it today. I hate it. Go to wasabi instead! Soup is small. Gyoza is microwaved and cheap meat in it. Disgusting.

I had a naked Katsu lunch, large size, which OK but lacked any noticable chicken, hate to think what's in the small pot. Expensive, poor value even for London. Will soon expire as an outlet I think

I was working in euston tower and was very excited to find somewhere with a great selection of healthy food. I had feta wrap, chicken emmental wrap and a large baked katsu curry for the 3 lunches I was in London Food was excellent and whilst it was extremely busy, worth the wait and service I found to be great. Try the banana bread with different toppings really lovely I would recommend here Pic of one of the gym boxes they offer and it was delicious

don't see the sell here as there is a discrepancy with the smaller than average food packaging with the higher than average price..but a magnet if the weather gains rain

Tried the pho for lunch and was a bit of a bodge job. Unconvential beef, appeared to be roasted and not nice texture. Broth was weak and veg lacking. Noodles also wrong, bue hue requires thicker, round noodles as opposed to flat pho noodles.

Had some really nice food for lunch ... very tasty wraps and fresh salads. Healthy quick food, affordable and full of flavour. Will go back again for sure.

Have tried this establishment quite a few times over the past 18 months but more often than not have been left underwhelmed. However I was recently tempted to try their new Chicken Dhansak - I ordered the large portion but got back to the office to find the container was barely filled to half way. Might as well have gone for the regular size. Also very disappointed to find: 1) The dish itself was at least 70% rice and 20% cucumber. There were no tomatoes and the quantity of chicken was negligible. 2) Food was cold. For £7 spent the portion size and quality of the meal was very disappointing. This could have been a good dish if prepared correctly and served hot. Much better value to be found at many of the nearby competitors such as Itsu, Eat and Wasabi.

Quick sandwich - good selection not a bad option for a quick lunch choice was quite broad - lots of hot and cold options

Wanted to grab a quick lunch and wish we had gone elsewhere. Expensive food , service had issues and the floor of the shop looked like it was undergoing a refurb. Needed the toilet but again this was not very impressive. After looking at the menu we had picked something if the breakfast menu only to be told it was past time and to go and look in the fridges. The said fridges contained a very limited selection however we thought it didn't look bad value if you bought the meal deal. A sandwich, crisps and a drink - problem here it only included certain cold drinks and not even a basic coffee . Ended up selecting a sandwich and a coffee however after looking at the cashiers receipt discovered that the sandwich on its own had cost just 20 p less than a meal deal. If the server had explained things a little better I would have done better to get a bottle of water and a packet of crisps too. ,!! And all this times the 3 of us . Felt ripped off to say the least . Not impressed and won't be returning any time soon.

I actually ate at Pod twice in a day as I was working in the area. The energiser scrambled eggs were as good as ever and the Thai curry I had on my way home was superb. Really friendly staff as always at Pod. Thanks

I had a pod for lunch and tried the thai red curry which was very tasty. The curry was served with wild rice and veg which was very good!!

I used to love POD. It was my superfood scramble breakfast and my Veggie Magic for lunch for many a working day's nourishment. And I loved it and the service. Over the last few weeks they have changed the menu - and my lunchtime veggie option has gone. When I enquired about what is my new option, a lady took me to the shelf and introduced me to a salmon meal. Nice! But my kind of veggie-ness is if it can run, fly or swim away from me I let it! (I do eat eggs - providing the hens have been allowed to drop them in their own time) This morning I was the only person in the shop for my superfood scramble. However, after 5 minutes more people wanted food too. I spent the next 15 minutes watching everyone who arrived after me get served. And in spite of my eye contact and questioning glances to staff - especially the lady who took my money - no-one seemed worried that I was standing around feeling like Piffy on a rock-cake (This is a phrase my mum used to say and now, although I have no idea what it relates to, I use it myself!) Eventually the coffee lady saw my frustration and asked me what I was waiting for. And thrust a bag my way. I had to ask again for the toast that comes with the superfood. Oh dear. How things change so quickly in only a few weeks. Goodbye POD - I am looking elsewhere for my takeaway working day foods

I bought a salad that was labelled healthy with chicken and avocado. I paid £6 for it and opened it up to find that there were only 2 small chunks of avocado and the chicken tasted rubbery and salty, so must have been processed and not fresh or healthy. There were 2 small chunks of tomato which looked anaemic, so no nutrients there. The rest was just boring chunks of cucumber all the way through the grain with horrid bits of spring onion. I was still hungry after spending all that money for a work lunch and ended up going to get something else from Pret because they are reliable. This is advertised as healthy eating, which is false. I expect juicy bright red tomatoes, a whole avocado and fresh roast chicken for £6. Never eating at Pod again. The healthiest choice is to make my own salad.
