La comida es deliciosa y grandes porciones (a veces, nos dan un pad Thai principal para la mesa que cae una delicia, y es tan barato que no importa. ).El servicio siempre es diferente cada vez que vaya (con personal distinto de en frente), pero el personal de la cocina el mismo, que es lo importante. Último par de veces ha sido una encantadora señora tailandesa enfrente que normalmente trabaja en la cocina, ella es genial! El lugar es tan pequeño que es difícil decir que es 'un mal servicio", ya que siempre se puede conseguir su atención. En general, un sitio maravilloso para comer.

Mi única crítica es la falta de una máquina de pago con tarjeta. Por suerte, pero otros comensales efectivo no tenía y tuvimos que caminar para conseguir dinero en efectivo después de comida, tendría sentido incluso a tener un cartel diciendo "sólo en efectivo" en ventana o diciéndole a la gente antes de comer.Por lo demás recomendaría este lugar.

He tenido una comida para llevar, servicio fue muy rápido, la comida era tan alentador y hogar probado, claramente hecho con cuidado y amor. Solía vivir en Tailandia, este lugar te da la sensación real. Tailandia Recomiendo Tom Yum Goong. Buen lugar para una fecha y tienen una buena selección de marcas de cerveza. Tuve el Tom yum sopa de fideos, que era exactamente lo que yo estaba anhelando. El único inconveniente era que tenían la opción de marisco, ya que no era una opción para vegetarianos para este tipo de plato y había sólo unos champiñones en el tazón enorme. Langostinos y calamares hecha pero el sabor real del plato estaba tal y como lo fue después. Podrían haber estado un poco punzantes.

Food is lovely and very flavourful however they need to employ more staffs or use staffs who are experts in customer service as this restaurant is a hidden gem. The use of a tastecard makes the restuarant worth going to otherwise I wouldn't bother as the staffs are rude including the manager. On my last visit I had to ask them to remove their "discretionary" service charge as the service I received was appauling. The manager tried to tell me I have to pay it in which I had to mention the Consumer Rights Act. They actually lost a valuable customer as I always recomend this restaurant to my friends.

He comido allí en ocasiones anteriores, reservé una mesa para 4 para un jueves por la noche. Llegamos 5 minutos temprano para encontrar el restaurante completo. Cuando le preguntamos al miembro si el personal (que evitamos eye) para nuestra mesa cotact, dijo que el restaurante estaba lleno y que tendríamos que esperar al menos 30 minutos. No hace falta decir que nos fuimos y comimos en otro restaurante. Nosotros no vamos a volver!

But my order was accepted and the delivery time confirmed so this seems impossible. They didn't make any attempt to apologise or suggest a solution. We travelled an hour to get there only to find it was closed upon arrival (apparent successful booking on OpenTable). I even called their number in advance to say we were on our way - the phone rang for ages then someone picked up and cut me off before I spoke. Terrible experience.

Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar para una pad Thai. Era muy sabrosa y una porción decente por un buen precio. Bien decorado restaurante y personal amable.

Me and my family have been visiting this hidden Thai gem in King's cross for about 4 years now: we first bumped into it by accident and immediately fell in love with the place: very kind stuff, cosy and relaxed atmosphere, but mainly great food! Will definitely be back.

La comida estaba bien y a buen precio con un servicio pero Tastecard fue muy mala. El camarero no puse mi plato, así que estaba sentado observando mi amigo comer por 15 minutos. Si él o su colega tenía simplemente se disculparon por el error me han dejado una buena crítica. We started out with dumplings which were perfectly prepared. Having both decided on pad Thai--I got prawn (non spicy) and he got chicken (mildly spicy). Our meal was prepared perfectly to our tastes. I would definitely recommend!!

My (Thai) companion and I used this restaurant on a previous stay in London around 6 months ago and were so pleased with all aspects thereof that we decided on a repeat visit during our most recent stay. What a disappointment and 'let down'!! Maybe there has been a change of owner or manager during the intervening period, but virtually every aspect had noticeably deteriorated. No 'welcome' as previously, just pretty much "that's your table there!". Unlike our first visit there were no friendly Thai staff 'front of house'; the waitress appeared to be Eastern European and was simply 'abrupt' in both speech and action. The seating was small, cramped and hard (there were a few cushions scattered about, but not at our table). The one thing which had not changed was the taste of the food, which was good, but the portions seemed smaller and fewer of the main 'ingredients' (prawns etc.). Now taking 'Cash Only' and no longer taking "Gourmet Society" cards, our impression (which, of course, may be wrong) was that they might be experiencing some financial difficulties and the effects thereof were being passed on to their customers. Regrettably, we shall not be returning any time soon.

I think the food would have been delicious if it had been hot. Food was 25 minutes after original delivery time, late is fine, if the food is hot. Late and only warm is not. Sticky rice going cold is not great, same with fried rolls. As I said food was tasty but marred by lateness and tepidity.

Cash only which was a pain. I booked a table online but they didn't get the message because their internet was broken, luckily we had a table. The food was average, nothing amazing and the place is tiny. Nothing special.

The delivery time was adjusted back by approximately half an hour after ordering but was still 15 minutes late. I called the restaurant four times but got no answer. When it eventually arrived, the food was disappointing and the beef dish in particular was chewy and lacked any flavour. The pad thai was the best of a mediocre bunch. Waited 1hr 45 for delivery. Food was pretty cold. The rib eye beef was tough and looked grey in colour. The shredded duck was mainly overcooked skin, hardly any duck to be found.

Came here after work with some friends. We used a taste card and the food was really tasty - I had the pad thai and it was delicious. The tastecard discount meant we had a really cheap meal - great value for money. The only thing I could fault about it was when we arrived we all noticed that the restaurant smelled really quite bad. In spite of the fact that we had booked ahead, they were not expecting us. However they very quickly made a place for us. The service was friendly, but stretched. Food on the other hand was authentic, flavoursome and decent sized portions. (The Tom Yum soup was one of the best I have had. No attempt to remove the enamel from your teeth and paralyse the vocal chords. Each element could be tasted and they had obviously worked on the basic "soup"). I would go again for a genuine value for money Thai meal.

I was a bit wary about coming here due to some of the reviews I previously read on this place but as I have a tastecard we have decided to give this place a try. The food were actually really nice and the service was good. I had coconut rice with red chicken curry. It was very good and filling. We also ordered the shared platter too. I was so full and we only spent about £9 each with tastecard! I will definitely come back again with or without the tastecard. Even without the tastecard the main course curry is only about £8 which is still not too bad. I would recommend this place.

must admit visiting here was a second choice as where I was planning on going wasn't doing food. So I put thai restaurants near me on trip advisor and this was fairly close by. Staff was friendly and was quiet quiet when I arrived. Decided to order something different and I think first time I have ordered a dish in a thai restaurant that wasn't spicy (moo hwan pork) however although there was no heat in the dish it certainly didn't lack in flavour as on the first mouth full the sauce was like an explosion in flavour. Definitely would return again

Visited on a chance, very friendly staff (even with Scottish money.) highly recommend. Especially with appetite like sparrow. Great portion sizes for those with small eating habits worth 5/5 but should be awarded more. I would defiantly say 10 marks if TripAdvisor allowed it, couldn't fault anything. I have been looking forward to getting the email from OpenTable regarding this restaurant and reviewing it. OpenTable needs to get its house in order and make sure the restaurants are open before allowing bookings. We turned up at the appointed time to eat at this restaurant and lo and behold it was closed! Lots of choice on the menu. The ribs starter was good although there was no finger bowl provided do had yo make fo with a dry serviette.The main course was equally tasty. Although I have given 1 more star if the duck with spring onion and pineapple had more duck and pineapple even if it cost a little more. Total cost for starter and main with a couple of beers was less than £22.

A friend and I went to Thai Aubergine on a Thursday night, and while he service was quick and fairly efficient the portions were lacking in anything but carbs. I had a grand total of 3 pieces of seafood in my Lek Tom Yum, and my friend didn't do much better with her Pad Thai. If we'd not had a Tastecard discount We'd have complained.Just because you're offering a discount doesn't mean you can remove key ingredients from a meal and bulk things out with noodles. Poor show, guys.

We went as a group of five on a Tuesday evening, hoping to use a Taste card (giving us 50%off food bill). They were relatively busy, with a couple of empty tables but as it was a nice evening we chose to sit outside. When we arrived we explained we wanted to use the taste card and they told us we'd have to come back in an hour. They said they were too busy and would rather take full-paying customers. I can understand this but they were extremely rude about it and it doesn't say in the terms and conditions for the restaurant with the taste card, that you might have to wait an hour or pre-book. It was already 8 o'clock and we were hungry. We were very upset by how rude they were to us.In the end we had to wait twenty minutes before they served us. But in this time they wouldn't even serve us drinks (not included in the 50% off anyway). When they did serve us they were not friendly or polite and were actually just rude.The place itself is nicely decorated and quaint. It has a small amount of outside seating for nice weather.I had a green curry with tofu which was very good and tempura vegetables to start. Portions were good and food was nicely presented.

Loving this little restaurant which is close to my office, I've now been 3 times, with a colleague, with 2 colleagues and with 3 colleagues. All of the meals have been excellent, the menu has plenty of choices, and whilst it's not the biggest of venues you don't feel cramped. It think it has 28 covers. The massaman curry is excellent, as is the Thai starter selection, the only complaint I have was the Pad Thai was a little heavy on the fish sauce, but only because I don't like fish. Going back soon, it's such good value, and they also accept the Tastecard.

Didn't want to go for a long diner nor wanted to get a take away meal so popped in to Thai Aubergine and ordered crispy duck and a green curry. Both were good, no frills or anything and the staff was friendly and attentive. The curry was good on taste and spiciness, could have been a bit more chicken in it.

Have eaten in the restaurant many times. Takeaway was great also, really good quality, delivered on time.

Thai Aubergine really likes to take your order, then shut down for the night, leaving you without your order. This has happened several times now.

We ate here last Friday purely because we found it close to our hotel and we were tired after the journey. After pleasant tempura vegetable starters, the food was nothing to write home about. Not nasty but definitely not special. I would recommend keeping walking and looking for somewhere else. Service was friendly and we received our food quickly.

Let's start with the good - the service was prompt and polite. It was Friday night and the waitress was good. The reality of the food - terrible. The starters were obviously bought in and mostly deep fried resulting in tasteless muck. Our mains (nothing crazy - chicken green curry and prawn pad Thai). Well I only had 5 prawns on a mountain of obviously generic pre-prepped noodles. The Thai green curry had no pea aubergines. Good flavour but long way from authentic flavouring. This place must be kept open by tourists from the many hotels and so they simply have such a disdain for quality food it doesn't matter if people ever come back. As a new resident nearby I know I won't be making a return trip - and advise others to not waste money on even a single trip. Disappointing.
