Pocklington Pizza in East Riding of Yorkshire

Nice pizza, really chatty staff. Was on my way back to the Northwest when I visited (Warrington). Would visit again :)

I recently came here for food and I was soon to regret my choice, the staff working inside were rude and very unwelcoming towards me, some were stood in their phones which is unprofessional and unhygienic. The young female working in there making the pizzas had no hair net on as well. The shop seemed dirty and unorganised. The prices were overpriced for what they were, i wouldn’t recommend this place.

Such amazing food, definitely recommend. Easy to talk to staff and lovely customer service. :) !!!!!!

I wanted to rate it 1 but it wouldn’t submit that. Omg what a shame! Delivery guy was lovely, really pleasant but the food was horrible. Kebab meat dry and tasteless and the Calazone was wet soggy cheese, so much tomato sauce with hardly any filling. Sorry guys this is probably why we don’t order takeaways and this was a treat that was so disappointing!

We’ve enjoyed the Pizza Delight for a few times the summer. Never disappointed. A wide selection of types of pizzas. Always gets the standard for the kids by always try a new combination and everyone likes the options. The staff always have smiles on their faces. Keep up the good work.

Ordered 12 inch barbecue pizza and that came and then asked for a plain burger with chips and slade but instead off that coming they gave me a margarita pizza and didn't want that so don't ever Order from this place again

Our order came with food missing and when we rang to complain they were very rude and hung up the phone. The food we did get was really poor.

Phoned for a takeaway one night and the staff were nothing but rude, food came and was food missing, phoned them up to complain and were rude once again and didn’t send the correct food we ordered

So.... ordered a burger,take away!! 4 cheese pizza with 4 extra toppings, order arrives, margarita, no extras. Ring complain, dont believe us, have to walk back to the shop to show them, all inspect, see we are right, ask why theres a piece missing 🤣 kind of had to try to find out?? No apologies, no refund for delivery as they are going to deliver the pizza again after they get ot right?? Something not quite right I suspect 🤣 Probably shouldn't eat this pizza that's coming either 🤔

We thought we would have a family treat due to this lock down to have a night from cooking. However when we got our pizzas delivered the dough was a bit on the raw side so I rang them up to complain about it. This was the outcome he came to inspect it and was extremely rude to me saying that it wasn't raw etc and actually banned me just for complaining for the first time in my life. I've never been banned for just raising a concern about the food being under cooked. Extremely disappointing and would never recommend this pizza place to anyone and expect to be banned if you do actually complain. Totally gutted about my experience with the manager who was extremely rude to be honest with you

Ordered two pizza's and a kebab meat, when arrived pizza base was not cooked fully and when we complained the manager brought two new pizza's out which were cooked a bit better but then said we were banned from his takeaway as we had complained and left. Would not recommend the pizza delight to anyone

This pizza place is great! Staff are always really helpful and polite and the food is consistent. You can get drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) from here which is useful. Their shish kebabs are fresh and made to order- proper meat! Pizzas are also lovely.

Called for a take away delivery, they said about 40 minutes, and came on time. The food was hot, a nice deep pan pizza, southern fried chicken, and far too many chips, we had to throw some away !! The price was reasonable as well. We will definitely use them again.
