Found this lovely place down a little lane to the quay, from outside it looks nothing special, but inside we were treated with a warm welcome and had our best Thai food ever. Great service, brilliant food and very fair prices.

Fantastic flavours and value! For a Sunday , early evening, the place was buzzing. I love spice and flavour- it delivered, wonderfully, on both. Totally recommend. Set menu was great value.

In a seaside town where all the restaurants are trying to sell for the highest price possible it is refreshing to dine at this place that has lovely food at a fair price.

We returned here two years after our first visit whilst walking the SW Coastal Path - it didn’t disappoint this time either. The staff are so friendly, really welcoming and, the food is just incredible with huge portions. The restaurant was full so, booking recommended. Tom Yam soup was just fantastic, as was the chicken satay for starters and then the chicken red curry was excellent. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We (2 people)had no booking and were accommodated, even though it was busy. The menu was Thai with Chinese influence. Massaman didn't have potato. Green curry was not remotely spicy and we both ordered plain rice. The rice bowl was huge and rice was over done. Sorry, but it was not good Thai cooking.

First time trying from here and was great! Nice friendly staff when I picked up, massive portions and it tasted amazing. Will be back.

Fabulously friendly and welcoming restaurant. We chose the Set menu - mixed starters, red Thai curry, beef in oyster sauce stir fry, sweet and sour chicken - added prawn crackers, glass of red and beer. All the dishes were superb and portion sizes large so much so they boxed it up for us to take home ( each box was labelled and one had ‘enjoy’ with smiley face. Definitely returning and would recommend x

We had a wonderful meal, opting for one of their set menus which included mixed starters and then three different main dishes plus rice. We couldn’t fault the quality of each dish, make sure you’re hungry when you go as the portions a very generous! The staff were delightful, we’d highly recommend a visit.

Excellent customer service. Great choice of dishes, reasonably priced too. We were a party of four. We shared starters, which filled me up. Everything was well cooked, well presented and delicious to eat. Cannot fault anything. Perfect evening thank you.

This was one of the restaurants recommended in our hosts Airbnb pack otherwise we probably would have missed this or not been inspired from the outside to go in. Without a booking we were met with a warm welcome and seated promptly. Service was good, staff friendly and very smiley, nothing too much trouble. We really enjoyed our food, lots of choice and portions were generous. Other diners seemed to be enjoying their food and experiencing the same level of service.

Served by lovely friendly staff. Vegan set meal was excellent and the Jasmine tea super tasty - our waitress even knew the person who had grown it. Will definitely go back

Everything previous reviewers have said about decor and the need for an update are absolutely correct. However all the positive comments about service and hospitality are also true, it was terrific. Food is great and you won’t leave hungry. So look beyond the appearance and you definitely won’t be disappointed

Friendly service, generous portion sizes. Restaurant could do with some TLC, lacking in ambience and feels somewhat ‘abandoned’ - has potential to be so much more. Green Thai curry was good but sweet and sour pork was poor and pork undercooked.

Having tried and failed to order takeaway Thai on outskirts of town (1 hour waiting time at Thai Station which we'd have spent in their car park) looked up alternatives on Trip Advisor which led us here. Don't be put off by what looks like a rather down at heel exterior. Inside, although not flashy, you'll find an unpretentious little Thai eaterie with immaculate loo (spacious disabled access which was important to us) and stellar service. Lovely food, huge portions, fantastic value. We will return. We had the pork ribs, sesame chicken toast, peanut parcels, chicken satay, fish cakes, followed by Tom Yum soup; one with prawns and the other with chicken. Although we only ordered tap water this didn't mean we were served any less politely and carefully as if we hag ordered champagne, which is really refreshing and very unusual. Our large chilled bottle of tap water arrived promptly and was replaced repeatedly without prompting. Smiling, unobtrusive yet friendly and polite service was given by every single member of staff, again, really appreciated. Portions honestly four times the size expected. We ordered a selection of starters and in some (most) places these are doll sized so we ordered a mixture. Here they were all full portion size for two people even if meant to be a starter for one! The chicken satay starter for example was equivalent to one or two chicken breasts. Enormous! Succulent marinated chicken and lovely warm peanut sauce. Pork roast ribs also huge and tasty and we appreciated the warm water finger bowl. The rest of the food followed this good start in both size and quality. Recommended

We have never had Thai before. We had a takeaway it was awesome. Great food not greasy at all, the satay chicken was fab. Also super friendly staff when I picked it up. Only visiting Falmouth but I want to take the restaurant home with me

Lovely little gem on the Falmouth waterfront. Service is fast and friendly, and the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome on a rainy evening. Portions are plentiful, dishes are spicy and flavourful, and the price is very reasonable for the amount of food served.

Came to Falmouth on an impromptu evening out, realised when we got there it was the sea shanty festival! Absolutely rammed everywhere; but an amazing atmosphere. We had a walk around and my partner spotted the Thai flag (we love Thai food) so we popped in on the off chance and they were so accommodating, let us have a table straight away. The staff were amazing, so friendly and so helpful. We had the mixed starter which was delicious, can’t fault it. I had the Thai green curry and my partner had the chicken black bean and garlic, both thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner lived and worked in Thailand for years and struggles to find good Thai food that matches up, he said he was thoroughly impressed. We left happy and full after a brilliant dining experience. Thank you! We will be back!

Excellent authentic Thai food!! First and foremost, the friendly service as every other reviewers have commented is spot on. Attentive and polite. An eatery is nothing just for the great service, we can say the food is excellent and highly recommend any dishes served with the fresh meaty prawns. I had the Tom Yum soup, full of flavour and excellent herbs and spices. The prawns and squid are very fresh. You can tell by the firmness of the big prawns and the nice crunch to the sweet squid. The mix starters are excellent choices if you want to try a bit of everything, and they are off good portion size as well. Our eyes must have been bigger than our stomachs, no matter how tasty the food was, we couldn't finish everything (we did order a lot!! 😁😁), And ended up taking some home. We've been eating out a lot, the prices here are good value considering the amount and the quality they served. This is a definite must go to place if you're into excellent, tasty and authentic Thai food. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Falmouth. Had the most delicious meal here yesterday evening! The food was fresh with amazing flavours. The service is next level with friendly and helpful staff who will give plenty of recommendations of what to eat. The restaurant itself is also beautifully decorated with the most amazing tables! The place was simply furnished but the table and chairs were gorgeously curved out of Thai workmanship. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was authentic and delicious. Generous helpings of seafood and meat. Owner extremely humble and friendly.

An absolute hidden gem! We were originally going to go to a different restaurant, but the kitchen had closed. We were told about this restaurant and it was amazing. It's out of the way so not too busy, the staff are enthusiastic about the food and service and the quality of the hand carved tables, chairs and menus is astounding. The waiting time was very fast. I would definitely recommend it and I will be sure to go again.

Wow what a disappointment, we came here in 2020 and it was amazing. This evenings meal was the complete opposite. All english staff no thai. Starters were OK but they missed one off so one person had to wait. The mains were appaling. Sweet and sour sauce tasted like baked bean sauce. Panang was bland and not spicy. Yam talay was just terrible not sure how to describe it. Will not be coming again

Highly recommend. I came here a few weeks ago (end of June) and honestly cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. It was my first time in Falmouth and after a long journey the two of us needed somewhere that could serve us both a substantial vegan meal, fairly late in the evening by most standards. We shared the peanut parcel starter, one had tofu curry (with extra spice), one tofu massaman curry, coconut rice to share and drinks. If you're visiting the area and staying in a hotel, you may note in your reservation details that there are certain promotions/ discounts provided if you dine in certain places and we lucked out here, since Thai is my favourite cuisine anyway! Ploy thai was a gem in Falmouth with delicious, well spiced food, unique furnishings, and absolutely lovely, attentive service. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice!

We ate in this authentic, no frills, modest restaurant Easter 2022. The place is a bit shabby, in keeping with Falmouth, Cornwall and Thailand. To the important bit. The food was very good. We had a bit of almost everything and it was great, very generous portions, hot, and tasty. If it were in St Ives, Rock, Mayfair, it would be packed ..we recommend it and suggest everyone supports this place. Ignore any ratings related to delivery, it is an irrelevance for fresh, authentic Thai food

My favourite place when I feel like something spicy. This is the best place in Falmouth not only for food but also for staff and welcome. Always feel well looked after. Love the Massaman curry with the steamed rice. Wish I could cook like this.

Very pleasant evening whilst on a work trip, attentive but not intrusive service. We had prawn parcels, mixed platter and chicken massaman, all delicious. No Chang beer but Singha was a good replacement. Would definitely come again if in the area.
