Plough Inn Upton On in Malvern Hills

My second visit here. Lots of funny characters. All friendly people and staff. Came on ‘crib night’. It’s lovely to see these sort of nights still happening in the pubs. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Plough and will be back again.

I came in on Sunday and found the pub filled with lovely locals and also had a great game of bingo which was nice on a Sunday afternoon. The pub is also in a lovely area by the river and also was served by a lovely lady. Over all felt very welcome here will be back again and would recommend anyone to come here with either family friends or even just yourself.

I came in over the weekend and it was a great atmosphere. A band was playing and the scene was thriving. Great bar staff, and good quality of drinks. Thank you The Plough!

Nice little pub right next to the river, friendly people staff and customers. I was here to meet a friend who was down to visit Santa with her child and found there was a Christmas market going on too. It was a brilliant atmosphere. I will be looking forward to coming to next year. And will definitely be visiting in the summer months to have a nice drink next to river.

Great pub land lady couldn’t do enough I had a small party there for my daughters 1st birthday with my family and locals was so friendly also was such a lovely atmosphere and love the Christmas decs

Would highly recommend for anyone to come in and visit here! Such an amazing atmosphere and wonderful staff! Also love the background music outdoors too and also a lovely view of the river! Will definitely be back again soon!

Every time we wanted to use this pub we were greeted by numerous smokers blocking the door. There is a smoking area to the side that was empty- always. Management need to understand that customers do NOT want to walk through smokers in order to enter the establishment. A total let down for the town.

Lovely dog friendly pub next to the river severn! The bar staff and cliental are friendly and welcoming. Just a real friendly pub! Would definelty come again; Bingo on Sundays and Tuesday quiz night sounds a good laugh!

Best pub in town, Riverside views, good beer at great prices. Regular bands and Entertainment. Friendly, welcoming clientel. Quiz is great fun on a Tuesday and Bingo an absolute must on a Sunday 🤣. Don't miss out if you are passing on by.

I went to the pub on my own as I was passing through Upton. I found the staff very friendly and had great service, it was one of the cleanest pubs I’ve been to for a while and had one of the best pints I’ve had in ages. There was also some characters who were also friendly.

Walked in on a Tuesday evening and asked landlord by door if they were doing food. His reply was we are halfway through, we started at 6.30. What? Turned out they were having a quiz night. Everyone stated at us, so we just turned around and walked out. Heard them all laughing at us down the road. Not a pub for visitors obviously. Not impressed. Don't bother if you are not local. When this has happened in my local in Berkeley they have either explained and apologised, or fitted people in.

A perfectly adequate little boozer set just back from the river with Sky and outside seating. Landlord seemed particularly welcoming.

This is a fabulous pub with brilliant bar staff a huge thank you especially to Stella and Beth. I have spent many memorable times here during the festivals. Unfortunately the locals now completely ruined our festival in this pub. They were rude, aggressive and made it very clear we were not welcome. Such a shame for the staff. We will be back for the festivals but sadly not to The Plough unless the locals want us there

Quiet when we visited on an April Saturday afternoon. Overlooking the river and modern inside. Very welcoming and comfortable.

After a days walking along the Severn Way, stopped for an ice cold beer. Service and staff great and the beer ice cold.

We enjoyed several evening at the Plough where martin and Sandra made us very welcome as did all the other patrons.

The bar staff are so friendly and a lovely atmosphere and its a dog friendly pub. Of your a walker what better way on a Sunday after a walk than a nice drink in a lovely pub
