Went here with friends today Thursday 20th March all meals came out burnt and well overdone couldn’t even get my knife into the fish croutons so hard didn’t eat any of it lasagna was burnt as was the Hunters Chicken not many people in restaurant so no rush going on we will definitely not b visiting this place again absolutely rubbish food

First time here. We chose this pub at the last minute as it is halfway between myself, family, and my daughter, who lives in Somerset. There were 7 adults and 3 children and a baby. The food and the service was really good. I highly recommend.

First time we have been. Took advantage of a 30% off main course discount. Nice meal. Busy enough for a Saturday night. Quite a few younger patrons until around 7pm. Ready to book online the day before. Nothing not to like and we will return.

Family of four Saturday evening dinner. Floor staff attentive and very friendly. Food was great, I wouldn’t say expensive as if you want to eat quality food you have to pay. We will definitely go back again.

Hats off guys. Your beers are brilliant especially the draft inches cider. The fish and chips main meal is absolutely spot on!! I've come here a few of times because it's so good and massive, it makes me wonder why fish and chips shops can't make it this good! ...and it's the same each time. Me and my wife share one portion as it's so big. Couple of years ago we stayed clear of this place as it was poor. That's not the case anymore. I would highly recommend to anyone based on our experiences over the past 6 months. It's not the cheapest place to eat but you can't get quality for low cost and my and the wife share anyway. Keep it up guys and thankyou.

We sat in the bar area as we had a dog with us but the place we sat was lovely. The food was absolutely amazing and we didn't have to wait too long, staff were all friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

We previously visited for drinks only, but, having moved into the area recently, we decided to come and try the food. We were not disappointed. The food and the service were excellent. We will certainly be back and will also bring family and friends.

Good tasting food and nicely presented. The table was very dark and lacked enough light to read the menu and eat comfortably. The Drinks are far too expensive for the venue and when paying the bill I was asked if I was tipping today, which made me feel obliged to do so.

Doesn't have the Whow factor used to have, sunday roasts here used to be worth the trip from Cheltenham but now definitely not boarding on average and roasters were cold, thin slices of meat fir the money no longer worth the visit. Shame as the roast were amazing, won’t be back

Went for a meal last night to try out the new menu, l was really looking forward to the new lamb dish but unfortunately it was that popular it was sold out, not to worry. So my next choice was a mixed grill and l wasn't disappointed it was excellent, especially with a side of onion rings and a nice sauce to add to the already full plate. This was accompanied by 2 pints of Inch's Riversider it was a very pleasant evening. It is a very welcoming place with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. By the way the new Fillet Steak dish is Excellent do try it.

What a find! Visited here yesterday with my partner, the decor is amazing, food was spot on & the service was very attentive without being intrusive, would highly recommend the pate & sea-bass, great selection of real ales on, see you soon.

We all enjoyed a meal here for my friends birthday. The staff made it extra special by putting some decorations up and bringing out candles in her dessert. The food was lovey and the staff so welcoming

Wonderful food and service as always. The staff are very friendly and happy which makes a big difference. Super easy to update my booking ahead of time to accommodate for adding high chair and it was all ready for us when we got there. I bring my family and friends here every time they visit from out of town as I know everyone loves the food, service and overall cosy vibe of the venue.

Great pub but very slow with service we waited about an hour for the starter and another hour after for the main, pub was very quiet at the time we went, we were only given the main menu which stated 2 courses for a set price so after we ordered we were told if we wanted the 2 courses we had to order off the other menu, which she was sorry we hadn't been given one

The pub was clean and well presented, the layout was accommodating and comfortable. We hadn’t booked a table in advance but the staff were helpful in finding us a free table. The food was good and staff were friendly. There was a bit of a wait for drinks and food but it was to be expected given the day and time. Overall, a good experience

The Sunday Roasts were fine. Three of my friends had them.The Vegetarian Chickpea Curry was disappointing. Not much taste and expensive for what I had. A Nut Roast would have been a good option to provide.

Never anyone behind the bar. £6.45 for a pint of Estrella that you have to wait 20 minutes for, and get queue jumped into the process? Marstons are losing the plot. The Three Horseshoes are upping their game, so watch out.

Christmas Dinner was absolutely amazing. I'm not just saying this because it's Christmas, I can be critical when it comes to food but in all honesty I have never eaten a nicer, tastier Christmas Dinner ever, and I dine out most year's paying a lot more money than I did today. A 3 course Christmas lunch for £58 amazing. Everything was cooked fresh and to perfection. The veg had didn't notes of herbs and the gravy was devine. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely return. The staff were amazing and although we had a 45minute wait for our food, it certainly calmed us when we tasted it. Well done all who made our family of 6 happy today

Good service, good food, had a lovely time.

Along with the family, I had xmas day lunch at the bluebell. The service was absolutely first rate. Mary looked after our every need faultlessly. I think they were fully booked on the day, but at no time did we feel rushed or under pressure to finish each course. Every time a staff member walked by the table, they asked if we wanted any more drinks, and any requests were met quickly and professionally. The meal itself was excellent. I chose beef, which was cooked just right for me. It was served with roasted parsnip and carrots, Yorkshire pudding, and the obligatory xmas sprouts. I’m not a lover of sprouts, but even these tasted so good, I ate them all! The gravy again tasted absolutely fantastic. If I had to be really really picky, I would have liked a little more gravy as it was so good! I understand from my wife that prior to the day, the pub kept us regularly informed, and confirmed our attendance a number of times, and that payment was received. All in all, a fantastic day at a great venue, with first class service, great food and superb drinks. Two of our party are Guiness lovers, and they assure me that the Guiness was most acceptable! As I was driving, I enjoyed Guiness zero, a great drink alcohol free alternative for the drivers! I would not hesitate to recommend this fine venue to anyone! Thank you to all who helped to look after us on Xmas day!

Stopped off randomly for a pub lunch and immediately on arrival got a good welcoming vibe. As we were about to order the waitress told us about a 30% off voucher available online - she didn't need to do that - we were about to pay the full price. And when the food arrived it was excellent! So good I've just booked Christmas Day lunch there for my family.

A great place to go go for Christmas lunch ! Just perfect!

They made our Christmas Day very special. It was very busy but the staff worked hard, were attentive and smiling throughout. Food was spot on and we had a lovely meal. Will return for Christmas again.

After arriving on time we had to wait 15 mins at the bar for a table, the three of us paying nearly £80 per head were put on a table for two in the bar where everybody and their dog is standing. We all had salmon and prawn starter which was generous however, would have preferred brown bread and some butter and a larger slice of lemon would have been nice. Mains was beef which was a good cut, well cooked however, soggy roast potatoes, one yourkshire and the only veg were carrots, sprouts and parsnips. Not much choice....No peas, brocoli, cauliflower, mange tout, sugar snaps or red cabbage. The other main was salmon. The "hollandaise" sauce was so lemony it destroyed the flavour of the salmon en croute and everything else it touched which was disappointing. Helped an elderly lady get a key to the disabled toilets as it was locked. Dessert was the saving grace, choc cake with honeycomb and choc icecream... cant go wrong really. Waiter didn't care to know what we thought of the meal, just asked if we finished before taking plates away. Overall, for Christmas was OK. However, not somthing i couldn't make better at home so next year I'll be booking elsewhere.

Very warm and welcoming. Friendly staff and good service. Disappointing that several menu items were unavailable. Good choice of ales. Starters were excellent. The mains were OK but nothing to write home about and seemed a bit on the expensive side. My son’s veggie burger was tiny. Work on the food and this could be our local.

Great, old pub, with a lot of atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. Decent beer selection. Unfortunately the carvery beef was not enjoyed by most of our party, being rather tough, but roasted accompanying vegetables were good. My truffle macaroni cheese was good. Will try again another day...

My wife was impressed how clean and well presented it was inside. I was very impressed with the Steak and ale pie. One of the tastiest i’ve ever had. The staff on duty were also very pleasant.

Booked a table today to take advantage of the 30% off mains, lovely food, clean only downside very cold out today, someone had to request heating to be turned on, such shame had to sit with my coat on and half through the meal a log fire was lit too late for to us to appreciate it, shame it wasn't lit about 11am, we were in at 12.30.

The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable and the staff were very helpful and polite

What a beautiful pub! It felt like Christmas yesterday, stunning decor, amazing customer service and lovely turkey roast. Staff were chatty and smiley, really interested in what we were up to in Malvern. A lovely start to our trip to Malvern theatre. Thank you for having us we will be back!

Lovely food, lovely staff. 3 kids and a vegetarian we usually have a fussy eater that can't be accommodated but everyone had a good choice. Couldn't fault the food or service and lovely pub with nice stmosphere. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

The Steak and Ale pie, mash and veg is delicious. The beer is well kept and the service friendly. The beer garden on sunny days is an asset to have locally too.

Excellent service, and great food, The kitchen was busy we were made aware of this when we arrived and we were kept informed the wait was not as long as we expected and the food was well worth the wait. We will be back!

Our waitress was attentive and very helpful by opening disabled toilets for me, as she saw I was on crutches. Food was tasty and well presented. The restaurant was clean, neat and tidy. Paintings and pictures perfectly placed.

Main meals were not very appetising at all. Poorly presented and not tasty. My calamari was burnt and tough. My husband's Hunter's chicken was tough and bland. Our desserts were good though. Service was ok but slow.

Staff are very pleasant and efficient. We had a sharing board to share between 3 of us then 3 mains. Food was ok.. My mother in law enjoyed the lasagne. Was a good portion. My wife had the mac and cheese. That had to much truffle for her taste. I had the steak americano. It was a little grizzly and cooked a little more than what I had asked for, but I can live with that. We had 2 mocha's and an americano for drinks. They were good. Would definitely givenit another go. They have a lot of offers to choose from.

One major complaint is that it's practically impossible to use the WiFi because instead of just asking for my age, you're asked for your date of birth but are not allowed to select year of birth without navigating back one month at anytime- that's 646 taps to 1969 which is ludicrous, an awful system. Food was good but for me Colmans English mustard is a must, Heinz is sub standard. And freshly mashed potatoes would also be preferred.

We recently visited the Malvern hills and needed to get our lunch in the area. We were lucky enough to find this cosy and atmospheric country pub. We had a great lunch that catered for all our needs, Vegan, vegetarian and carnivores in our party. The food and service was excellent and we will be sure to go there again when we visit Malvern next time.

Family Saturday lunch time celebrating our Un_Birthdays. The Bluebell is beautiful inside and out. Very drinkable alcohol free ale so got to enjoy two pints with my food and still drive. Food was a bit slow to arrive but very worth the wait. Very tempting menu but we stuck to classics. Chicken and mushroom pie, Steak and Ale, (& mash potatoes and veg) chicken tikka masala and sea bass and mixed grill . Good sized portions, Didn't need dessert tho' very tempted. Staff very courteous. Very enjoyable lunch.

Food was average at best, service was poor, very unprofessional and rude. Will not be coming back mainly due to poor service and would recommend that others think twice.

Great Pub with well tended to ales and lagers.. We were greeted friendly and sat promptly. Our drinks took no time at all and refills offered and delivered. Service was friendly and attentive. The portions were perfect and tasty and came out hot. Unfortunately we did not have room for dessert, definitely next time.

Despite the 30% discount my food was awful..supposed to be a veg curry with chick peas but just huge chunks of butternut squash in a tasteless sauce with no curry flavour! I've had better ready meals from Iceland!

Really enjoyed our too-brief stay in Malvern. Service at Cannara was wonderful. Comfortable lodging, easy parking, fantastic breakfast, good vibes all around. Great place - we hope to return someday.

I was able to book easily online for Sunday lunch. The food quality was excellent and served without delay. The only slight issue was that when we arrived at 12pm the room temperature was a bit on the cool side for an overcast chilly October day but after I requested for it to be increased it was soon at a pleasant temperature. We would however definitely return again.

This pub isn't what it used to be. Being polite now, we would visit for Sunday Lunch regularly (nearly every week) and the occasional meal out, as a treat. Now, the service is slow, the portions are 'rather skimpy' - but the food is OK (no complaints there) - if rather bland and mass produced (standard stuff really) and to be honest, although the pub is giving 30% off Main Meals, we would rather go eat elsewhere. We used to have a family pre-Christmas Meal here (for 4-5 continous years) & spend hundreds of pounds to treat the family (15-16 covers). But today, the pub has no atmosphere & there is not a great, friendly welcome either. Our choice - but this pub is not for us anymore. "Good Luck Bluebell !".....

Excellent food and atmosphere. Our doggy was allowed in and even got food and treats! We had to order food and drinks at the bar, but otherwise service was good.
