Proper old school pub with a great range of beers - both brewed by the in-house brewery and a good range of others. Outside area comfortable with plenty of space and covered areas.

Great real ales & bar snacks. Traditional pub & friendly, helpful staff. I left my baseball cap and the manager kindly forwarded on to me. Fantastic customer service.

What I would call a typical traditional pub with wide appeal to the local community. It's always a busy pub with a great atmosphere and has an improved beer garden with plenty of seating. It's in a great location by Mary Stevens Park, independently owned by Craddocks brewery with their own beer on offer. A selection of cobs, samosas, pork pies and scotch eggs available daily.

Dog friendly pub, good beer & atmosphere.

I've not been in for a while and very little has changed- including the upholstery. That said this old fashioned pub (no music, no gaming machine or other noisy stuff) majors on its good selection of ales, ciders etc. Food is simple too, cobs, pork pies and crisps all of which are good quality items. I was in on a lunchtime, pretty quiet all round but fine by me as I got what I was needing.

Service wasn't the best waited a bit too long to be served. Staff in most pubs don't have any idea who's turn it is - those days are gone. The garden is super and was much improved since my last visit. Beer selection was ok but not great. Craddock sell their own range which aren't as tasty as others such as neck oil.

This pub has an amazing atmosphere, their beer garden is so lovely. The staff are also very friendly and kind.

Great local cosy pub and it's just as good in the summer. Food is proper black country baps, great, but don't expect hot food etc.

Couldn’t actually tell you what this place is like. Went in on Sunday afternoon and was told my 16 year old and 11 year old cannot come in. They are welcome to sit outside in the rain though. Dogs however are allowed in. Disgusting, go down the road to the white horse.

Gorgeous pub. The interior in stunning with a beautiful old wooden bar and loads of seating with a rustic, comfortable front room feel. Also lots of outdoor seating to enjoy. Amazing range of beers, ciders and snacks too

Party of 3 Sat 20/5/23. Excellent food, great service and pleasant venue. Menu was good with day specials that tasted like they had been created on the premises - a rare treat - if you are in Stourbridge find this pub.

This is a lovely old school pub, feeling pretty close to the ideal pub of George Orwell's essay. Quiet, but not feeling close to the grave, unlike many pubs actually called the Moon Under Water across the UK.... Nice selection of local beer, plus cask Perry on our visit. Cosy inside, it also has a nice outdoor space.

Nice old fashioned pub, no tvs, no music and good ales, well recommended, only negative was the lack of car parking.

Great dog friendly pub next to the Park. It's lovely and cosy on the evenings, with a log fire and heaters throughout. Just a friendly stourbridge pub to meet friends and have a good evening at!

Craddocks do great pubs. I've only not gone 5 stars because the other Craddocks pub in Stourbridge is better. The bar staff were lovely in here. Very welcoming and good conversation. Roaring fireplace.

Having got to know the Plough & Harrow on visits there with my brother, I find some of the negative comments about the staff, manager and other aspects of the pub to be somewhat "subjective"...I can only say that I enjoy going there, the staff and the manager are a pretty cool team ("cool" in positive sense of the word), the overall atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant...and the same can be said about the locals who frequent the Plough & Harrow. It is overall a very recommendable experience and before I forget, the snacks available (e.g. the cobs) are especially yummy, thank God they have San Miguel beer and the Merlot wine is equally recommendable..

Great little pub with plenty of drink and snack options

My friend and I arrived (both in our 50s) at the Plough and Harrow after a local afternoon walk with our respective 17 year old children and 3 dogs. Unfortunately the dogs were more welcome inside than the sensible and 'grown up' 17 year olds! Old enough to do plenty in society but not old enough to enter the Plough and Harrow! We were offered, as an alternative, 'outside' on a cold December late afternoon - they have 'heaters! We declined and left and found hospitality for all of us - 17 year olds included - in a nearby and welcoming pub. Shame, as the Plough and Harrow is a lovely pub and all 4 of us - 17 year olds included - have been in there together (with the dogs) in the recent past and no objection was raised! So, don't try and take your 17 year olds to the Plough and Harrow (dogs are fine) and spend your money elsewhere instead!

Lovely atmosphere, nice staff and cheap beer! (as long as you buy the Craddocks stuff, which is pretty good!) Beer garden with heaters, warm and spacious inside. Highly recommend 🍻

A Great traditional pub with garden and mixed clientele. Craddock's ales plus other guests and ciders. Plus great choice of spirits and bar snacks. Will keep returning.

Went on a quiz night. Tuesday I think it was. Great atmosphere and friendly people. A real local pub where people don’t turn and stare if you aren’t a regular. 😂 Beer and snacks were lovely. Sampled several ales all good and hit the mark. Quiz was fun to listen to. Didn’t take part as we arrived late. Though watch out I’m coming back to have a go. Excellent all round. Staff lovely. Great place.

We went here the other day, nice staff. Cosy traditional pub. Outside area has been extended into a loveley part enclosed beer garden, very cosy & welcoming if it's raining too as you've a roof over your head but also some outside area too. Loved it! Will be going again as it's local walk from my house.

Good old fashioned pub, which are hard to find these days. Decent beer with a collectors card for a free 'house' beer. Fairly big covered garden area for those who prefer to sit outside.

Brilliant today first day open after lockdown. Enter through gates at back of pub into beer garden. Wait to be seated. Quick service. Great atmosphere and even better great beer.

I love the Plough and Harrow. It doesn't have the best beer I've ever tasted and the beers are tremendous. It has proper pork scratchings and let's dogs in, it has locals and people passing through. Sometimes there are a host of cyclists. It's always friendly. The staff are great. It has real fires and an interior that has age and gravitas and not been touched by an interior design. The whole place is just solid, original and belongs to the community. It has Craddocks Saxon Gold and sometimes Wye Valley HPA which is worth travelling for. COVID-19 IPC is well handled as well.

Cosy real ale pub and friendly staff

This is a proper pub. Never seen any trouble in there, the beer is excellent, and the regulars are friendly. It's mine and Megg the dogs favourite pub in stourbridge, as we can be left alone or join in if that's what we want. The bar staff are great, and really add to the charm of this place. The beer garden has lots of seats, shelter, heaters, and the glasses and dog water bowls are always clean.

Solid pub. I prefer the guest beers to the regulars, but you'll always get a good pint.

Used to be a nice local pub but over the years it has been sadly neglected. Now looking shabby (and not in a good way) and grubby. The womens toilets and freezing cold and unpleasant. PLEASE - do get this local back on track.

Been here a few times but never seem to get that make you feel welcome moment! Which is a shame because the pub itself is an old traditional one that has a variety of various drinks on sale including ales.

When I read the first half a dozen reviews I had to double check that I had the right pub. Had a great afternoon/evening with some friends in the beer garden and the beer was OK, but that's the least to expect from a pub anyway. The inside of the pub had such an overwhelming smell of dried urine that it made my eyes water and I can be grateful for the fact I only had to go inside a few times. As far as eating a cob there all I can say is I wouldn't even risk a bag of crisps. All the loyal customers can rest assured that as long as I'm around there will always be a spare seat here....
