The best scampi for miles and staff friendly and helpful.

Had to wait 1 hour for main course+when it came the vegetarian tart was burnt. Pastry+veg inside. Only able to eat jacket potato. Very disappointed.

Visited with 14 members of Halesowen u3a walking group, following an all day walk of 8 miles or so. We had pre-booked a table and everyone enjoyed the food. Plenty of hot food choices, and good sized portions. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this place, food was top tier especially for the price and great service off the girls serving. Will defiantly be returning and recommending.

The food was really nice but the service was poor. It was busy and they did warn us there would be about a 40 minute wait which turned into an hour. 2 of us wanted a dessert and nearly another hour wait and having to chase this up. Spoilt a nice birthday celebration as we had brought a cake which they said they would bring to the table at the end of the meal. Had to ask 3 times for this and finally brought it after another 30 minutes wait after paying the bill and waiting to leave as some of the party had a 2 hour journey home to make.

Wonderful. Allowed dogs, great service, food, staff, atmosphere. Couldn't fault it.

There was 6 off us, best to book a table gets busy, not the first time we have been there, food very good cooked well and very hot.

We were recommend this pub by a friend and we weren't disappointed. Proper homemade fresh food. The portion sizes were great and it wasn't over priced. You did have to wait a little longer for the meals to arrive but that was because it was cooked fresh and not come out of a microwave so we didn't mind the wait. The staff were very friendly. We shall definitely be visiting again

30th birthday meal. We were really impressed by the menu, especially for the kids. Unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations.Why sprinkle dry herbs over the lamb shanks, how can the peas and beans be dry and rubbery?? the cottage pie Yorkies were full of rosemary which ruined the flavour of those. The children's food (nuggets & fish fingers were dry and overcooked too, so most of that was left. The only service was the food being delivered to the table and the only opportunity to complain was when the table was due to be cleared. Shame, good atmosphere, good parking. I would however suggest ordering the steak which my husband had and it was perfect.

Food seemed greasy , not much atmosphere and to many dogs ( sorry dog lovers )

Ordered from here in covid but never actually been in, we were helped instantly by Richard to get us a table, we were informed about a long wait for food but it wasn't long wait at all especially given the time of evening it was. The food was really nice and puddings looked delicious but I was so full I couldn't eat one! We will be back

Nice pub but beer prices are very expensive and food not warranted for the cost.

Came last night for my birthday and the food was outstanding! The service was swift but friendly and the pub beautifully decorated for Christmas! The nachos were the best I’ve ever tasted and I will definitely be coming back for more of them in the future!

Cannot fault the food here. It was hot and fresh and lovely. Will return again.

16oz sirloin steak,not good unless you like gristle, I left mine..2 stars for rest of the meal..sorry can't recommend steak here

Had a table of 8 people booked for peak time on a evening. The pub was almost fully booked and every single dish which came out was amazing. No compromise and the value for money with the taste of the food and kind staff, totalled up to a magnificent meal!

I came here with some friends due to the original venue we were going to being overbooked and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was, then one of the party decided to order food and went for the chicken balti with chips which he got for all of us, it's easily the best balti I have ever tasted, absolutely beautiful food, which was echoed by us all, will definitely have to go back 👍

We always have great food here, easily the best food in the area! We booked for 21 people last week, the staff were incredibly helpful and the food came out together and well cooked, despite having to accommodate so many different meals etc. We can’t fault the service at all! Definitely recommend!👍🏻

Food is always beautiful here and am glad to see the beers better now! Had the mixed sharer at the weekend and we could only just manage it!

4 of us went for a meal. Mine was lovely. Salt and chilli chicken. Would definitely recommend it. But the husband and my uncle were disappointed with their meal. Their meals were the lamb shank and the steak. The other meal was scampi, which was also enjoyable. Would I go back. Yes. Got a nice play area outside if you have got children

First time visiting, and the first of many! Friendly atmosphere, wonderful staff and incredibly Sunday lunch.

The food is really outstanding, very good for the price. But it definitely takes a long time to come—they do say on the menu that this is because everything is scratch made, which is fair enough. Just be aware, especially if you have hungry kids, that there will be a wait.

food service was slow but was a thursday night and a bit busy, nice food and good menu could just tell it had been under the hot plate for a while before being brought out, would still come back tho!

So our party of 5 arrived for our booking at 12.30 on 25th September. At approximately 12.45 we placed our order and we were warned that there was an hour wait for food which we accepted as we had eaten here many times before. The issue we have is that other diners arrived, ordered and received their food before we received ours. I realise it was a busy time of day but maybe due to your popularity an extra chef is in order?

A busy little place food was bloody amazing. Would visit again when maybe it's not quiz night. Wouldn't like to mess with any of the women there...wow!

Order was incorrect yet the staff at the bar said it was. Pork was salty and over seasoned with pepper, mash potato didn’t taste like potato tasted like smash. Will not be going back, gravy was like jelly….

Fab menu, very attentive and friendly staff.

Visited on a Wednesday evening and was very busy, the car park was full. Bar staff were friendly and efficient (nb any payments under £3 payment by cash). The food is excellent, pipping hot, delicious, and generous portions. Reasonable prices too. Quiz night on Wednesday, which seemed popular. Would definitely eat here again 😋.

Attended the quizz. Last orders not called. But behaviour of bar staff gave the impression last orders was 10:00 pm

It was the worst roast dinner I have ever had. The beef was so over cooked I couldn't cut it the cauliflower cheese was awful the cheese sauce was congealed the cauliflower was raw. The veg was frozen rubbish. It was pilled up on small plate and looked whole unappetising. The wait staff were good. But I won't go again

We ate here for the first time tonight and we are all so pleased we did! To my great surprise they do a dutch dish called kapsalon, it was almost as good as in the Netherlands! Our party also had the lamb shank and a beef and merlot pie which were also delicious, we will definitely be back!

A group of 16 of us ate there and the food was fantastic as always. Such friendly, welcoming staff to which always for a pleasant dining experience.

Food is good and the staff are really amazing but more worrying is the prices of drinks that keep being upped....this is no doing of the staff but for sure the higher management hiking up the prices.

We recently visited with friends for a meet up over a late lunch. Were too start, the menu has everything you could wish for. I decided to have Steak and 'CLUCK',yeh strange title but a fine piece of 8oz rump steak with a chicken breast,salad,fries,mushrooms,cherry tomatoes and Onion rings. My wife and her friend both had HUNTER'S Chicken ,1 with fries,1 with chips served with sweet chili and barbeque sauces respectively. Our friends husband probably had the pick of the bunch 'THE LOCKDOWN LUNCH BOX' Wow. Chicken wings, chicken strips,chips,breaded mushrooms,jalapen bites with cream cheese, garlic bread and salad leaves and dips of mayo.sweet chili and barbeque, he loved it though he did offer (which we accepted) various 'bits' as he was struggling. The food was all served fresh and hot (as they say we don't do fast food, but we do food as fast as we can). Clean plates. Oh yes. With 2 1/2's lager/lime,2 Guinness 0% and 2 INCH's cider and a diet COKE the total bill came to around £80 for the 4 of us. Considering it's local to where i live and i didn't know it was there, will i return, YES not if but when.

First time visiting here tonight, and it didnt disappoint. A good selection of food and drinks. The food arrived piping hot, and the portion size was amazing. I struggled to eat it all, it was cooked to perfection everything on the plate tasted great. I really enjoyed the whole meal. The staff were all very friendly and polite and made you feel welcome. It was really busy for a Wednesday, so i would book if you can. We will, definitely be going again.

Went here recently, having previously been here over ten years ago! Warm welcome, good food and drink options that are reasonably priced. Plenty of seating options in the bar and restaurant area. If you arrive by car during a busy time, you may find parking is difficult.

Can't believe we don't live that far away and have only just discovered this little Gem!!

Had been recommended to visit so decided to book for a lunchtime catch-up with family. Great recommendation, lovely food, steak, beautiful, loaded fries, large portion and very tasty, scampi yummy, and wow deserts to finish off, even though we shouldn't as the dinners were large portion. Honeycomb cheese cake, chocolate fudge cake, cherry crumble, wow again. Thank you to our lovely waitress Abby, we'll definitely come again, you need to book ahead as it's very busy, even on a Monday lunchtime

Been to this pub a few times and the service and food are second to none. The food looks and tastes amazing! Large portions, reasonable prices and great tasting food. If you haven’t tried this little gem of a pub then I highly recommend that you do! Will definitely be returning with the family for more more delicious food

Amazing Pub. We had a lovely meal here, for a birthday. The food was piping hot and came on time, the dining experience was also brilliant, with a warm, cosy atmosphere.

We visited here for the first time and we were both really impressed with the interior, the service and the food was amazing, we will definitely be visiting again.

Great staff and food, too busy and has god awful outdoor benches. Take care parking anything that has a low clearance as it's not potholes, it's straight sunken ground enough to trigger proximity warnings.

The pub was freezing cold had to wait over an hour for the food

Visited for the first time on a Saturday lunchtime. There was a table available so we ordered drinks. The food looked really good so we ordered and were not disappointed. The staff were lovely and friendly.
