Plough in Northumberland

Staying locally for a short break, drove past and decided to give it a shot. Great deal 13.99 for 2 courses. Good kids menu and also the main menu. Food was really tasty, hot and good portions. Looks like it has maybe been recently refurbished. Service was good too. Definitely recommend.

Went tonight after years away and was really pleased we did the evening special 2 courses for £13.99 was beautiful plates were hot which is a bonus but made even better was the staff Taylor served us from start to finish so professional but really friendly couldn’t do enough for us and everyone else in the restaurant

4th Stay this weekend Another excellent stay. Rooms and bathroom are excellent so clean well decorated and beds very comfortable. Breakfast great. Great pub to and food. See you again.

Lovely place for a night out . We were stopping local in Cresswell for 4 nights and needed to find somewhere to dine for the evenings . Well could not have found anywhere better . The place is amazingly clean and very welcoming. The selection of beers and wines etc is spot on and the menu is more than sufficient. The food arriving nice and hot and served with a smile . We booked for the rest of 4 nights and never had a bad meal . All the staff and locals were friendly and helpful . We will definitely be using the place again when we are in the area again .

Lovely comfortable surroundings and pleasant staff. Meal was fantastic. We chose burger and chips but it was very special and the chips were delicious. Really enjoyed our meal and would return again if we are in that area.

Very poor and not be back, food and service really bad, you need a chain saw to cut through the beef and there need to look at replacing waitress staff as think there have no clue what's so ever
