Absolute brilliant chippy. Food portions are large. 1 large chips does 3 people in our house! Staff are super friendly, and you don't mind the wait as all the food is freshly prepared!

The lady in charge speaks to the young people that work there in an awful way. They are people not animals and in fact I wouldn’t speak to animals like that!!!

Chip shop called to say we have cooked your order and the delivery driver did not turn up, not happy with just eat as this was not the shops fault as the shop was closing at 8pm, by the time we recieved order it was luke warm and soggy, not good enough.

Far to much batter on the fish very disappointed,on eating very little fish because it was stuck to all the batter.

Bought cod and chips (1 x large, 1 x pensioner) whilst back in UK visiting family. Food is cooked to order which was fine by me as we weren't in a rush, and at least we knew it was fresh. Chatted to owner whilst it was cooking and she was very friendly, so ignore the feedback saying the staff are rude. Portions are very good, in fact I couldn't manage all of mine. Some comments here suggest food is undercooked, but that really wasn't the case for us. Very tasty! Can't comment on price as I don't live in UK so cannot compare it to other chip shops. Overall very pleased and would happily buy from here again in future.

Are awarded for best fish and chip shop. I have eat at few good or super fish and chips. This one is in top three or join first one in West byfleet in Surrey.

We won’t get fish and chips from anywhere else, hot , chips fluffy and crisp, fish lake and white with crispy batter

Had food from here before and it's been lovely but something about tonight's tasted a bit off. Shame. Delivery man very friendly

Semi-raw anemic chips. So bad they barely counted as chips, rather than warm potatoes. I cannot stress enough how undercooked these chips were. We would have fried them further ourselves but everything was swimming in grease, there's no reason for fish and chips to be that greasy, and no excuse for it. This was a disgusting, unappetising meal and we ended up throwing almost all of it away. The amount they are charging for this something so bad just adds insult to injury. We will be avoiding it at all costs going forward.

Rang and asked for 2 small cod, large chips and a pie,went to the shop, paid for it, waited 10mins because chips were cooking, then got handed my food to be told there was no small cod so was given 1 large cod and money back, surely they could of said while I was waiting for chips to cook then I would of ordered another large cod and paid the difference, communication is not great there, walked away disappointed as didn’t want to wait again as the rest of the food would of been ruined

Chips were anaemic and only 6 mushrooms in a portion of battered mushrooms, disappointing.

Fantastic food and service. You can ask to have your fish cooked more or less depending on how you like the batter, chips are lovely and squishy, and the best thing, they use pure vegetable oil, not palm oil or other cheap oil which kills my IBS!The fish could be larger (I usually order 3 large to share between 2 people) but quality beats quantity and because it’s freshly cooked and served, not sitting in the heated cabinet for ages, you do end up with a fair amount of grease in the bottom of the bag.

The cod is so tiny! £8:50 for a portion I expected at least half a portion. Also it’s delivered in just a paper bag so pretty cold. The taste was good but the price is unfortunately off putting.

As to be the worst fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. Sorry but I have to be honest.

Delicious food, freshly cooked to order. Very generous portion sizes too. Will definitely be coming back

The orders take a bit longer than expected, but the food is fine and the portions of chips are quite large.

Chips wernt cooked properly. Would expect better from a place that is supposed to specialise in fish and CHIPS

A little undercooked and the small cod is shockingly small now compared to a regular for the cost. 👎🏻

Ordered 3 x small cod, 2 were just batter barely any fish in at all which considering the price was a massive disappointment and they were cold, the bigger portion of the 3 was warm and had the amount of fish in that would be expected. The chips and curry sauce were good.

Great as always, although I was sent the wrong drink with no explanation.

Chips were a little hard this time time they’d be reheated or stuck in the warmer for too long, fish was perfect as normal.

Food is always hot when delivered, the delivery chap is so pleasant. Small cod and small chips with curry sauce, is perfect sized potions. You receive plenty of salt and vinegar and napkins. Great restaurant, we will continue to order regularly.

Always unpredictable whether your food will be great or just awful. It's more often awful. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. However, chips are always under cooked, pale and limp. The oil they use is too strong leaving a nasty after taste.. small fish is child's portion and not value for money. Last fish portion was dripping in oil half of it was at the bottom of the bag.. I wouldn't recommend this chip shop.

2nd time ordering a delivery and very impressed. Arrived early and all hot and tasty. Recommended!

We’ve had several meal from here which were excellent. Last night’s was abysmal, the chips hard and cold nothing like chips shop chips should be, can only assume they were reheated, the fish batter was also hard and lukewarm, such a shame.

It was a Saturday night so understandable that it was late but took over an hour to deliver 2 minutes down the road. Food was really nice though so happy overall it was just hard keeping my 2 year old happy with the long wait.

The food was very good but we had a delayed message twice. Not told why when the food arrived so we don’t know why. Glad the food was good to make up for it though.

We didn't receive the drinks with the kids meals but otherwise great service, kids loved the food and didn't have to wait long for delivery 😀

The fish was delicious but they desperately need to change the oil they fry the chips in as the chips tasted awful.

Don’t normally leave a review but these guys deserve one! First time ordering. Great size portions, piping hot, came early and even in the bag had salt & vinegar! Thought of every detail & everything is recyclable (what we had anyway) Definitely will be ordering again.
