I enjoyed the mushroom soup and I loved their good portion of Risotto. Friendly and very professional service. I’ll definitely return.

My friend brought me here for a surprise afternoon tea for my birthday 2 years ago, it was simply stunning, the views and the food and hospitality. One of the best tasting afternoon teas we have had as lots of savoury as well as sweet. Would definitely recommend and return!

Staff were so kind and welcoming. Really looked after us. The food was absolutely incredible. Pork belly was best I've ever had and steak was perfect. Not expensive at all. Trust me don't miss out!

Also the menu was not rich with many options, this is the place I prefer. Like at home the food was very good. The service was warm and we enjoyed it very much.

Walked in for some cocktails x mas eve . Everywhere was closed , but met an amazing bartender who served us 10/10 cocktails and treated us so well we ended up booking a room for the night just to stay the night. 151-157 M by Montcalm city road . Fully recommend.

I would highly recommend this place. I have been out with my friends and i loved the place and the service. The guys from the bar were amazing, they provided a professional service and really completed our needs. They made us feel very special, and the cocktails were amazing!!!!

My husband won a prize for 4 people to have the tester menu with wine experience. OMG it was amazing from the 1st course of The Flight of Bread to the sweets at the end. 4 of the 7 Courses with a bottle of wine. Turned away 12 people from one of their biggest business customers. No apology, no explanation, no alternative offered. We went hungry looking for a local alternative on a busy Thursday night. My company won’t be using Montcalm any longer. Very poor.

Enjoyed a really good meal on a seemingly quiet Sunday evening. Service was very attentive but not intrusive. The smashed avocado was excellent and very filling. Salmon was well cooked. Wine list overpriced but overall a good experience.

Had dinner at Plate and I can honestly say that it was amazing and filling. The service you received is second to none and the staff are brilliant and very knowledgeable. A special mention goes out to Leon for the amazing cocktail. Diana for superb service and Tom. Massive thanks to Josh the head chef! Amazing food chef!! 😁😁!! Can’t wait to go back.

Had an enjoyable meal here. The menu was different to the one on line so a little disappointed not to be able to have fish and chips. The soup came without a bread roll which I've never experienced before. Staff lovely.

Great locaiton for a business lunch and the food the four of us had was certainly tasty and well presented but what a boring menu! It migh thave been presented in a interesting broadsheet newspaper style but the content was lacking. So much so that two of my guests chose the burger and the other a club sandwich...
