We love this dog friendly cafe situated now in the Damyns hall airfield. Lovely and bright, outside tables as well. Clean and most of all excellent cafe food at decent prices

So I have never had a garden. I was made to feel out of place. The plants died within a month. They also kicked me out of their fb when I questioned why they felt selling firework was a good idea for a garden centre- as it’s really dangerous to wildlife. That type of business that will not engage with customers. Avoid.

I booked this venue for my mum’s 80th birthday. We used “the Den” which holds up to 40 people. The venue was beautiful and the food was lovely. Kevin and the team were very accommodating from the point of booking through to the end of the event. I would definitely book this venue again…thank you Kevin and the team.

Apologies for the late review. We had takeaway from here a couple weeks ago on a Sunday , our usual fish and chip shop is shut on a Sunday in Elm Park but my husband wanted fish and chips and we decided on this plaice . We have lived in elm park for 10 years now and haven’t eaten here for a few years. It didn’t disappoint. I had rock eel my husband had cod, the children had burgers . He said it’s one of the best cod he’s eaten recently and I really enjoyed my rock eel, apologies didn’t ask the children about the burgers but they didn’t complain or leave any . My husband got chatting to someone about skewers and he said the staff were really friendly. We would definitely go again and the prices are good . The chips weren’t greasy and were cooked perfectly . Neither was the fish , the fish were spot on . Nothing negative to say here.

Enjoyable busy pub. Go there because you like cheap drinks, acceptable good edible value food.... And the buzz of a decent vibrant everyday pub! The food is brilliant for the cost, can't fault what we had. Best value in town.

Would highly recommend this lovely pub, food served hot and cooked from fresh, word of warning, book early to avoid disappointment.
