Planet Wok in Norwich

Thought i would try these for the first time tonight and won't be back. Website says one price and when you go to collect the price is 10% more. Absolute robbery.

Easily the best Chinese/Thai food take out place in Norwich. Food is consistently excellent, well prepared, served fresh and hot and in generous portions. Service is friendly and thoughtful, always happy to help with any dietary requirements. Can't recommend enough.

We ordered some food here, one Thai and one Chinese dish. Was not authentic at all and didn’t enjoy it, the Chinese dish tasted like it was from a jar. Staff in the takeaway were friendly and helpful however. The food unfortunately was a big let down

Last night I ordered food for seven people and fully expected to wait for about an hour, as the app suggested, which would have been more than fine. The food turned up in record time, about 15 minutes, and not a single item was missing. The delivery man was also a delight! The food was somehow more delicious than usual and our friends from out of town all absolutely loved their dinner. Special mention to the chilli salt and pepper chips, which were a big hit with everyone!

Unfortunately, this has go e from a highly recommended takeaway to poor quality one. Three bad meals in four weeks. Will not be going back

What an asset to the local community, a warm, friendly, family run business . Tasty Chinese food. Fresh delicious fish and chips . Always a winner !

£4 delivery for literally 2-3 mins drive and get luke warm food because delivery driver went elseware first. 50 mins late, jokers

Staff really friendly. Food always arrives piping hot and nice and quickly as well. Would highly recommend!

We had Thai food which was very oily,spring rolls with nothing inside them and salt and pepper prawns loads of oil rubbish , Tom yum soup salty lack of prawns and bland ,no refund offered, laught at us,poor customer service won’t be returning any time soon

What happened to that authentic yummy flavoured food from PW Eaton? I'm really sad to be saying that I probably won't be useing PW Eaton again. Tonight I have been served a large bland special fried rice with barely any meat in it at all. I am very forgiving of these things but after phoning up and explaining this, I was told i will only get a medium portion of meat in a large special fried rice? I genuinely thought the joke was on air... But it gets worse.. After explaining I was a regular and I have been massively impressed with their high standards over the years I was told that the manager explained that the portion of meat with in my rice was fine. (so basicly suggesting I'm a lier) the conclusion a 10% discount off my next order instead of a refund. Not impressed.

Quick delivery even in the snow. So thankful that you do vegetarian quorn ‘chicken’ sweet and sour balls, they were delicious! Couldn’t ask for more from a Saturday night treat!

my spring rolls were cold in middle and stir fry had no taste. meat was chewy in the stir fry. waste of 20 quid. furama is better choise for Dereham road

My favourite takeaway, no contest. Everything always tastes great. We always collect so cannot comment on the delivery service. If I had any complaints, it would be that sometimes the "large" version of a meal is only bigger because of more sauce, not necessarily more food. But the flavour is always perfect.

Having had a not so great experience from here a few years ago I came back recently to discover they have made some excellent changes. The wait for the order is worth it (order in advance if you can) as everything tastes as though it's made with fresh ingredients, fresh herbs used and so delicious. Best take away Chinese I've had.

Tried to order on 5 different occasions (all different days) Twice online and 3 times over the phone. They cancelled both my online orders through just eat after I'd already paid and then all three times I've called they've said no they don't have a driver or too busy to take orders. Literally the worst service I've ever had in my life. So unprofessional and so damn rude. I urge people never to order from here, it'll just be a waste of your time.

Thank lord this place reopened!!! The food in the past has been hit and miss,. It started as fab and gradually declined in quality until the shop closed. Now it has opened again, the food has always seemed freshly cooked and tasty. Phoning is easy, options are good and it is always heaving with people. As this is not the only takeaway in Norwich, I'd say this is a good sign!!

Hot, fresh and tasty. A lovely Chinese.

Best place in Norwich in my opinion. The food always tastes freshly made with quality ingredients. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. We used them when they were on dereham road and have followed them to Cringleford. Parking is a bit of a pain but the short walk is worth it. If in doubt, just give them a go and see. Would never use anywhere else now.

Staff were great and super nice. The food was amazing, Massaman curry was fantastic. Ready in mere minutes. I had a wonderful experience here and would recommend them!

I use Planet Wok ‘a lot’. It’s completely out of my way but the food tastes absolutely delicious and personally I wouldn’t go anywhere else again having used more than 1 local restaurant. The only negative, as mentioned elsewhere, when they are VERY busy they simply cannot cope. The last time I was there I ordered at 7:15 and typically it would be ready 7:30............9pm and I walk out of the door! BUT It was fresh and tasted delicious however did leave a sour taste (if you get me). No compensation offered but a sincere apology. 1/50 experience is definitely still worth 5 stars though!

Tasted really bad. Never tasted such bad food was hoping for a nice taste but it was bitter, very bad flavour and had a really bad after taste. Would really not recommend going as I have had to it all in the bin. Such a waste of money

Potential Food poisoning, Drove home from France yesterday and only had a chicken sandwich at 13:00 then arrived home to have a Massaging Chicken Curry around 20:00 around 00:40mI visited the toilet for the first time, then every hour until 08:10 when I finally woke up, it was pleasant and I feel rough today, I am not saying it was definitely them but these are the facts you decide

Such a shame....used Planet Wok regularly but ordered tonight and nearly 3 hours late and still no food with young children. Hope they don't treat all their regulars this way!!! Won't use them again!!!

Great value and friendly staff. And most importantly... brilliant food!
