Good food, good service, great coffee! Love this little place. Clean and well run. Plenty of seating and the team are polite and attentive. Oh, and the tuna melt is delicious 😋 😉

This is a great little cafe with a good selection of food and drinks and the service is efficient and friendly. It can get busy which makes it a bit tight as it's only a small cafe. I would certainly recommend it.

My husband and I visit on a regular basis and we are always happy. This family friendly establishment is by far the best in town. You can enjoy fresh coffee, great conversation and food all the time! We have tried almost everything on the menu and still go back.

I think this is the best coffee shop in Corby. Food is absolutely lovely and the coffee is amazing. Caramel especially. Staff are really helpful and friendly.

Good selection of coffee, meals and snacks served by friendly staff at reasonable prices. Can sit inside, or outside at the rear for smoking area or out on the balcony in front of the cafe and just watch the world go by.

We frequently visit this established and prefer it to the Wetherspoons for breakfast. All the staff are friendly, food is freshly prepared and coffee is freshly ground.

I visited with a coworker and the service was excellent, and so was the coffee and food. The cleanliness is excellent and so is the ambiance. I would have to say that this is a post establishment with very modest prices.

I haven't been to this coffee shop before because it's on a balcony and Corby town centre doesn't have a lift to access with pushchair or wheelchair . I had to visit another shop so me and my other half dragged the pushchair with little one up the stairs. The coffee shop is like a mini tardis from below you can see there is chairs outside but the shop looks very small . In reality it is spacious and overs further outside seating out the back . My other half had a breakfast and tea and was more than pleased with it . I had a coffee and panini with Parma ham and mozzarella which again was fab and little one had cheese toastie and banana milkshake which was made with real bananas. It was reasonably priced and quick polite service

What a find. Lovely food but more importantly, lovely friendly staff. They were especially accomodating for the children. We will definitely pay a visit again.

Lovely little cafe that does some great food, the service is on the ball as well. I didn't discover this place until after living here for 18 months as it's on the second level in town, glad I did find it though.

When in corby look up as there is a very good Cafe on the Balcony above the shops. The food is excellent and service is quick and efficient. They dont serve chips, it is all healthy food and very tasty it is too.

Great place for a coffee or a small snack. Good service, friendly and professional. Try the home made cake and always leave a tip, even if it is just a few pennies.

If im going to town and i know im going with friends i will always go here.Great atmosphere, low cost, great food and range of drinks and the staff are always lovely

You can enjoy your freshly made coffee or tea with a look through the daily newspaper or surf the net all free. Mick the owner and his friendly staff nothing is to much for them .Toilet are cleaned and checked often .Best in town keep up the good work will pop in to see you all on our return vista to Corby Tom n Shirley

Planet Coffee is one of those places that I’ve known about for ages but always avoided on the basis that “ … it’s up on the Balcony, out of the way, and unlikely to be any good if it’s up there … “How wrong can you be?Finding ourselves unexpectedly in the town centre this afternoon and having been given a word of mouth recommendation by someone who uses it regularly, we headed that way for a bite to eat. We climbed up to the Balcony and found ourselves in a nice, relatively small, continental style café (it reminded me, a little, of a place I used to use in Arona, Tenerife, some 20 years ago). The menu selection is admirable (hot and cold snacks, slads, pastas, breakfasts) as is the hot drink choice and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they served beers and wines as well.There is a choice of seating areas – outside on the Balcony, inside or out the back under cover. Choice is better than Costa and prices are noticeably lower. We had a baguette and a hot Panini with a couple of coffees. The food was clearly prepared fresh and the baguette was as expected but the Panini was really nice (surprisingly so) and you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. It was a busy little place and everyone involved in serving had a smile on their face. It’s obviously popular with many customers who came in being greeted as if they were regulars.Whilst we only had simple fayre it was done well and it would definitely encourage me to return again for another experience.Don’t “judge a book by it’s cover” sprung to mind as I left. I am a regular customer and think it's so worth it's money. Lovely food! Lovely choice of hot and cold drinks and next to nothing prices especially compared to costa! Would highly recommend, friendly welcoming staff also! What more could you ask for!!

By far the best continental bistro in town.Food always very good.The manager and staff always pleasent,and friendly.Bistro is always clean.I always meet my friends there,and have no hesitation on calling in for a coffee on my own.Prices are good,and is only place to give you a lovely biscuit with your drink.Always busy,which means they asre well worth a visit.Wether you are young or old,or have a dissability,they always make you welcome.
