Pizzeria Enrico in East Dunbartonshire

Order a cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, amatriciana penne pasta and mussels. Quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever had!! Pasta was mushy and over cooked, mussel with garlic cream sauce, where in what looks like water. The mozzarella sticks are supposed to be on a bed of lettuce. See pics! Honestly so disappointed! Day light robbery I could literally have made better myself!!

Pizza was terrible all slide off the base one meatball cut up into tiny pieces for a new york pizza felt ill afterwards. Would avoid

worst pizza in my life. greasy, too much cheese, salty, burnt. rubber cake. frozen pizzas from the supermarket are much better. I don't know why they describe themselves as Italian pizza as it is worse than American pizza and has nothing to do with Italy. diavola with minced meat, not spicy, no salami, no sausage, just leftovers from meatballs. tragedy. I do not recommend

Our first takeaway of 2024 and with a Just Eat gift card to use, it was pretty much free. Going off a respectable Just Eat rating, we decided to give this place a bash. Located in Bearsden, we knew the delivery wasn’t going to be too long from door to door. In fact, it was actually delivered ten minutes early! We ordered a portion of Chips and a Chips with Curry Sauce - piping hot and decent, but a tad soggy. In addition, my wife opted for the 12” Tonno E Cipolla Pizza with a Garlic Dip - she seemed to like it (but she always keeps half for the next day). I ordered the 12” Diavola Pizza - absolutely spot on. The base was light and crispy, the Tomato Sauce deep with flavour and although a few more toppings would have been nice, the ones on the Pizza were lovely! With the final addition of a Coke, our total came to around the £30.00 mark, with our voucher covering about 90% of the cost. Chirpy delivery driver, fast turnaround and a relatively cost friendly total, this meal was well worthy of a 4/5 rating.

It's been variable enough that we can't really risk ordering from them again. We've had some okay meals from Enrico's but also some poor, borderline inedible, ones. One particular problem is there being far too much salt in the sauces.

I honestly hated pizza until I tried Enrico’s pizza everything about it is delicious just the right thickness and crunch to the base and right amount of topping - yummy!

Discovered Enrico's a year ago at start of first lockdown. Been getting meals from here ever since and never disappointed. Pizzas, pasta, risotto, paella, focaccia, churros all good. Pizzas are proper Italian. Just had another lovely family meal tonight.

Ordered pizza from here tonight. Not impressed at all. Was cold and lacked sauce on the base despite leaving a request for additional sauce. My son's meal was the kid's pizzas meal, came complete with an Aldi multi-pack carton of essentials orange juice. Not even sure that is allowed. I won't use again. Was very expensive too.

1st delivery & won't be last... Pasta & Risotto are better than Andiamo's or Tony Macaronis pratas brava exceptional & mussels were divine 10/10 & better than any sit in restaurant food.... Can't wait to taste other dishes & would love some King prawn linguine in future if available 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Shambles, delivered one of four pizzas incorrectly and all of them cold. When I called to complain, they blamed me for it. Only just back trying them again after a break having had poor food last time. What a shame as they used to be so good.

Nice Seafood Paella, for my dinner

After a long day of hillwalking we were starving and upon a quick search found this place. Ordered a ham and mushroom pizza, but got just ham and cheese, but it was sooo good that I'm not even fussed about the missing mushrooms. would 100% recommend and will visit again if I'm in Glasgow. Thank you, it was lovely!

Enricos is now our go to takeaway for all things italian. Very food good and if you order through their app you get 10% off. Always very friendly in the shop and grateful for your custom and more than happy to accommodate individual preferences. Highlights for us are highlander pizza, enrico special pizza, nutella pizza and the chicken milanese (huge portion!). The only poor thing I've ever had was the chicken burger, which unlike the freshly prepared milanese was just a bog standard tasteless processed burger but you live and learn.

I got meatballs with penne pasta in tomato sauce when I was passing on my way to pick the wean up from school, it was a wee bit spicy and really good, the wean had some as well and she liked it also, I would definitely recommend it 👍

The pizzas are fantastic. Discovered this place during lockdown and their pizzas are second to none. Only negative is that the sides aren't the best quality, the garlic bread etc could do with a little bit of work to get up to the same level of quality as the pizza. Best pizza in Bearsden.

Pizza ok spaghetti bolognese rotten carbonara not very nice chips rotten. Worst £30 I've ever spent.

I don't write reviews here but this experience was terrible! Probably my worst pizza takeout, which is hard to come by in Glasgow. They didn't even get my correct order on the pizza, was missing the extra toppings. Pizza dough was ultra thin, rough and hard like a brick, not an exaggeration. The pizza taste was greasy and over salted with the cheese, so much that you can't even taste the tomato. Only had three bites and threw the rest in the bin, wouldn't even feed it to my dog! Wish I read the most recent review I wouldn't have wasted my money here. There's plenty other takeaways that do better pizza. Don't waste your time.

Just had my order delivered so disappointed. Ordered before and food was lovely. Tonight half cooked chips, cheap chicken burger and salad that looked a week old. Daughter had reheated pasta and mozzarella sticks dripping in grease.

Really can’t understand all the positive reviews for this place - maybe people are confused with a similarly named restaurant nearby? Food arrived promptly - that’s where the positives end I’m afraid. Mozzarella dippers were of the cheapest quality I’ve ever had. Overcooked, overpriced and completely unapologetic. Two pizzas, one with this strange sausage that was dry as you like and tasted like it had fallen down the back of the couch months ago and had just recently been found and flung on the pizza. Pepperoni was ok although the cheese on both had this very strange grainy texture and was quite obviously not mozzarella. To add insult to injury it was extortionate - nearly £30 for 2 pizzas, a side and one bottle of juice. £4.50 for delivery. Unsurprisingly I won’t be ordering again! Sorry Pizzeria Enrico!

Really disappointed, I had the Nduja pizza with an egg and without the onions. It wasn't great, the base was undercooked and the egg overcooked and it tasted fatty. Not sure it was authentic Nduja. My partners pizza the reggae pizza was really nice. I will however be trying this place again.

Best calzone ever, even better than Little Italy! Excellent produce, masterly put together by expert AND super friendly staff. Nothing not to like! Calzone Matteo is a must to try. I would highly recommend this place.

The food was fantastic and at a great price too, why go to Dominos and get a £20 pizza when you can get a 16 inch for £10. I also ordered Garlic bread, and some pasta with chicken fresh and tasty and was fantastic, delicous!!! I have stayed in the south of Italy for years and this is the only place that does the pizzas like how you would have them there.

Great, family-owned business. Their pizza and pasta are DELICIOUS and distinctive. So much better than the pizza chains. Enrico works hard to make sure his customers are satisfied. It's our favourite pizza.

Ordered delivery off the back of 10% discount flyer. Pasta dish just pasta cooked separately with no flavour, added to too much cream, and cubed chicken used for pizza topping, with the odd bit of broccoli. Nothing authentic whatsoever about this overpriced dish. Ordered garlic bread which was basically luke warm toast. This place is trying to do things on the cheap which is a shame as the pizza we ordered was the best part in terms of base and lightness. Wont be ordering again and on this experience cant see why ratings are so good.

We’ve ordered the Penne Arrabbiata many times- and its seriously the best Arrabbiata sauce we’ve ever tasted! I’d love to get my hands on the Chef’s recipe! This evening we ordered the garlic mushrooms and they were tasty and fresh- better than any we have ordered in any fine dining Italian restaurant! The pasta and pizza dishes are tasty and authentic. Really lucky to have this gem of an Italian takeaway in Bearsden!

Every time we stay at Boclair House Hotel we order from here. Pizza was superb but try pollo pepe or pollo fungi. Both are amazing. Portions are the best I've had. Definitely ordering again. Toni macs doesn't come close to these dishes.

One of our favourite take aways. Very rare to find such an authentic Italian menu available for takeaway. Prices are very good too. Highly recommended.

Ordered 2 16inch pizzas delicious chips where awful wet soggy potato and the chicken wings ok however will try again as pizzas where authentic

Had noticed this place driving past and decided to give it a go one night when stuck on where to order from. Ordered a pizza via Just Eat and recieved a message saying ready for collection literally 10 minutes later! The pizza was fantastic, very thin and light (no grease on the box afterwards is a good indication of quality) We had the Pepperoni and black pudding which was delicious. Was only around £11 for a 16 inch pizza, fantastic value. We will 100% be back to try other varieties and explore the menu further. If you like proper Italian pizza dont hesitate to order from here as you will not regret it!

Much needed in our area real Italian food, we order from here at least twice a month. The food is top quality every time. The staff are friendly and welcoming wither we call or pop in to collect. If we get a delivery our drivers are chatty and friendly and our food hot. All in all a excellent place to eat. Keep up the good work guys.

Enrico is a very talented italian pizza chef! My scottish family and I enjoy his pizza and focaccia. Fast service, amazing food and a very nice service! Prices are also very cheap.
