Excellent food at very reasonable prices. In my opinion best “Chippy” in Bishopbriggs. Also staff are always friendly 😊

Ordered 2 x sausage suppers Friday 29/7/2021 appreciate it was about 9pm and close to shutting time but standards should still be maintained sausage was frazzled and obviously had been lying for some time and chip inedible normally visit this chippie about 3 x a week and standard is normally 5 star but not tonight guys

I pop in to Mario's every Friday. Food always great quality. Real fish fresh from a fishmonger. Quality seasonal potatoes from fruit Market. Best quality pies sausages black puddings etc. Never been disappointed. Decent prices good portions. Defo 5 star

Reduced the portion of chips.... less chips. Put prices up. Lucky if there was 12 chips with the sausage.. loads of crispy skelfs.

Waited over hour and half for delivery when food came was soggy cooked in greasy dirty oil had 2 bites n felt sick ragin isn't even how I feel right now waste of money very disappointed

This chippy has went down hill recieved my hamburger burnt crispy chips were disgusting to foned to complain got told hamburger will only be soft if laying for days so basicaly your telling me you serve food thats been laying for days will never order from here again girl behind counter has a attitude problem

Order food at 7.30 pm 2 November was told it would be 45 minutes phones back 1hr 10 minutes later was told is was on the way arrived 20 minutes later cold really disappointed shouldn’t take that long to deliver 3 miles felt as though the guy on the phone was just fobbing me off won’t be using them again

We as a family have been eating here for over 20 years and the chip shop has consistently always delivered great food from fish and chips, to pizzas to fritters. I always enjoy my visits here.

Fantastic wee chippy. Nice tasting food and staff are always helpful and pleasant. Always look forward to getting our food from here and always tastes great. Not many wee chippies like this left.well worth traveling that wee bit further to this one 🙂👍

Superb pizza as always one of the best chippys around not my local but definitely worth the drive

I go here very regularly and am almost never disappointed by the quality. Whether it be a pack of fritters (which I reckon are the second best in Glasgow) or a fish supper the standard of food if far superior to its neighbouring competition. If you find your self in the Bishopbriggs area this is definitely the chippy to chose. With good food, quick service time and friendly staff there isn’t much negatives to say. The only thing I have found is that if you are eating on the go gravy probably isn’t the best choice as it becomes cold very quickly and therefore makes the chips significantly less appetising. Also not a fan of the sausage super but that is solely down to personal preference as I know it is many of my pals favourites to order.

Most chippy's over cook special fish and you need a good set of dentures to eat it. But not Mario's just ask for Special Fish not too crispy its the best ever. Thanks guys.

Always ask for special fish not too crispy and as requested it was superb. Service is the best ever cant fault it.

Phoned out for home delivery on Monday night. They have a good deal on 2 fish suppers on a Monday night. Huge portions which we couldn't finish. Piping hot and very tasty.

Never fails. Really good chip shop, pizza place. Always fresh. Never get greasy chips which is kinda cool and weirdly kind of an exception to the rule these days. Nice grub.

Have used pizza Mario for a few years now. Tonight we had a delivery of 2 suppers which were absolutely delicious, they were huge and arrived extremely quick. Absolutely love this place, keep up the good work.

I have used this place off and on for 10 years or so. And usually find it ok preferring Franks in Lomond Drive both for quality and value. Their pizzas are usually ok so I got a call from wife that we had visitors and could I bring a pizza in.As I was in pub (Crow) I opted for Pizza Mario .Normally I would order 12 inch pizza with a few toppings and it would come in at £10 mark. As we had guests I opted for the 16 inch thinking it would be as good quality as the 12 inch I normally get. I asked for the 16 inch with chicken,ham and remember this mushroom and onion. Then got charged £14, £1.50 a topping !!!! The originally got the size wrong which anyone can do and the staff are really apologetic and very polite but they then rushed a 16 inch pizza in . When I got home the £6 toppings were to say the least very sparse indeed to which all in my house commented upon they were at best congregated around the middle of the base and not of great quality. The mark up on this must run into the 1000s of prevents. A very average dough sparse tomato/cheese base but to charge £1.50 a topping for what was essentially not even half a handful of very cheap chicken and ham but £1.50 for onion then same again for mushroom is frankly just greed. I have had a couple of 'experiences' in here now and won't be back. I asked for a receipt which I will now frame I only wish I had photographed this rip off. Very very poor

Used to go here for lunch at school at times. Always loved it. They do a lovely half pizza supper. Tasty. Not always that way though if I'm honest, sometimes the chips were soggy etc. but still overall good

pizza mario is a great little chippy I visit the shop frequently (once/twice) a week foods always nice and fresh staff friendly I especially think the woman with dark hair possibly manager is a credit to the business I have never once been in the shop at the weekend and she's not been working her socks off seems to work a lot though but that's not a complaint. food reasonably priced my only fault would be parking although safeway car park is only across the road. myself and family love this fish and chip shop and would always go back for more.

Well, I clearly don't learn from my mistakes. Popped in for a 'lunchtime special'. I was served by a torn-faced female and an equally torn-faced man. Definitely my last purchase. Poor quality, tasteless rubbish. Pity they occupy a prominent spot at The Cross. What a waste.

I like the special fish supper. Im not 100% sure what exactly makes it special but it is tasty and the chips from here are always excellent.

Friendly, fast efficient service. Alternate them with Frank's Chippy in the Briggs. Their suppers are better than Franks but their pizza gets beat into second place by them. Just depends what we feel like. Overall very happy with the service and food. Only downside is parking!! Nothing to jump in jump out!

Use this local chippie regularly and can't fault it. Food is always tasty and hot, and their pizzas in particular are delicious! Staff are pleasant and courteous

We were looking forward to a Good Friday fish supper and were really disappointed. As stated in the title, the food was both average and cold. The shop was empty when I was in at 5pm so they have no excuse other than they leave food to go cold before serving it. Expensive too. Won't be back.

From living in the west end of Glasgow I ventured out one night to the north of the city and came across a small chip shop called pizza mario. It's quite a tight little shop but nonetheless it caters for most pallets who visit fish and chip shops with the added bonus of pizza, pakora, pasta and some appetisers ie chicken wings. The staff were young and friendly which gave it a relaxed and happy place to work environment. My order for the night was a couple of fish suppers and I must say I was not left disappointed. They use haddock fish and the chips, albeit slightly dry, we're lovely. And all for under £12. I won't mind travelling the 7/10 mile to visit again.

On the few times i used this chippy i found the food swimming with grease, i use Franks chippy in Bishopbriggs now for the perfect supper.

This is a great pizza/ chip shop which will deliver. Our son and nephew love the pizza and fritters as a treat.

A friendly, efficient local chippy, unpretentious and good value. Only issue might be that they sometimes leave items too long in the hot plate after cooking, so they are sometimes served to you dried out.

The food is poor quality and everything is of a mushy consistency. I will not go back.
