Fantastic service most of stuff freshly made

Lovely fish and chip, generous portions. Updated today 11th August 2023 However recently got pizzas and the toppings were very sparse 5 small pieces of chicken on a pizza cut into 8 portions. Asked for double portion of sweetcorn on one the pizzas. Again very small portion. Then the pepperoni pizza also had very little pepperoni on it.

My wife had black pudding and I had a fish supper both were really poor chips were soggy and the fish was dry but greasy .the batter was also soggy . I wouldn't normally go to this chip shop because it is been poor in the past but because of the traffic lights situation in town went because it was quicker .

Great food great service, just a bit noisy for me lol, some really loud people in for dinner that night, but overall brilliant

Just ordered 2 pizzas And fish supper Arrived cold 40 minutes late I should of guessed 3 bits of Fish cheaper than next chip shop That do 1 1/2 pieces of fish that are warm felt let down Im on dinner duty Now have to phone Gerry’s For another £26 for 3 meals At least they will be warm

Service slow, especially when the staff serve other customers ahead of you. The chips where cold and soggy, obviously don't need my custom, there are better chippies in kirky.

Staff are always pleasant and food cooked to a high standard

Really is the best fish I have eaten in a long time. Tasty and chunky really is delicious. Pizzas are also yummy New fave takeaway on my doorstep

Never had anything out of here to complain about. Pizza is best about, imo.

DaCarlo’s Lenzie Fri 20th May 2022 DISAPPOINTING! After 7 days in Fuerteventura and 3 nights in Seville on returning home was looking forward to enjoying some ‘home comfort’ food. My Wife went Friday evening, waited forever to be served, loads of staff yet appeared there was no organisation. Anyway, brought the food home, I served it up. Looked decent enough, was really looking forward to it. THEN sadly realised that I was going to need a STIHL SAW (or possibly dynamite) to cut through or breakup my Mince Pie! Clearly it had been Sat being kept warm (at a guess from Monday/Tuesday night), to serve that upto someone is bad, but to charge them for it should be criminal…

Da Carlo never disappoints excellent meal and customer service experience as always. Freshest fish around always guaranteed quality. Definitely encourage anyone to check it out you won’t be disappointed !

Best pizzas in the area & great prices too, got a home delivery and food was quick & hot, drivers also cheery and polite

Great food, great price and friendly staff. Food hot and fresh, drivers were brilliant and fantastic as usual. Would recommend to anyone!

Fish and chips not nice and Cold

The most unorganised chippy I have been to which is remarkable considering the length of time they have been in Lenzie. They forgot our order and they didn't even acknowledge their mistake or apologise. Also when we eventually got the food it wasn't even hot and the fish was really dry. I would definitely not recommend this chippy, there are far better ones in Kirkintilloch.

It’s a chip shop. The food is decent. Prices are ok. The parking is pretty easy. But they do a thing called ‘pasta fritters’ which ends up being a bit like fried dough. Interesting and seems popular.

Best chip shop, shame they are shut on a Monday as I will not buy fish suppers any where else. Great family business and great owners and staff.

Shocking waited 25 mins on A BAG OF CHIPS will not be using this chipshop again in a hurry.

Great wee chippy. Always very busy. Originally wrote that in 2018! 2021 update. Still great and very consistent. Probably busier than ever. Almost certainly the best chippy in these parts

Last two visits have been really disappointing. Chips were terrible and the sausage looked uncooked. Trying elsewhere from now on.

Fast delivery good fresh cooked food

Just bought a fish supper, and very, very dissatisfied as the fish was tiny, with a couple of bits of additional batter added that contained no fish, and the chips were clearly the last remaining as mainly comprised small burnt ones, and very few at that. For the price paid I would honestly say very, very disappointed. Was going to return but I live in Robroyston, and my pregnant wife was too hungry to wait longer

Hit and miss with food,sometimes good other times not so. Feel it is a bit pricey

Had to pop to the shop as the phone line was so busy but the 16” pizza was magic. Easily better than other more well known Pizza franchises.

Just binned my Da Carlo's fish supper! They tried to give me a dried out piece of fish and soggy black chips. When i asked if food was fresh i was told there would be fresh ready in 5 minutes. To try and sell a customer sub standard food is bad enough but!! When i got home the chips were limp and cold and the fish was awful. Very dissapointed in Da Carlo's. Used to be one of best chippie's around, standard's have slipped drastically!!! Would not recommend and most certainly won't be back!!!!!!

Local chip shop but also does a variety of great tasting pizzas from a talented pizza chef. Recommended.

ok, as chip shops go, its not so bad. i have had better, but have to travel quite far to get that. One of the better ones in the area.

Usually love a Da Carlo but after telling the guy on my phone my address and him repeating it back to me incorrectly 5 times, I gave up. Time to find a new chippy.

after our local chippy became totally discusting we heard about this one and it being not to far from our house we decided to try it and omg it was amazing! i got a sausage supper and it was delicious and my mum had pizza and chips which was also delicious 😍we loved it so much we've been going back there any time we have a take out meal it's so good! defo would reccomend it to every one!!!

The best fish supper in east Dunbartonshire by a country Mile. I pass five different chippies on the way to this one. First class.

One thing about this fish & chip shop is the lack of organised service. Usually when you go in to such a place someone takes your order you pay them, another staff member gets your order and passes it to someone to rap and bag. Not here! Staff fall over each other and the same person serving you can be the same person taking your money which I find unhygienic. Invariably on busy periods they don't seem to be able to keep up with orders and the waiting time can be annoying. I don't think Si have ever walked in and out within a few minutes. Always people waiting on orders . Good can be a hit or miss at times when it's good it's good but lacks consistency .

We visited here for the first time last September and get a takeaway once a week now The fish suppers are brilliant and so fresh. The menu is so varied and so different from most chip shops won't go anywhere else now.

Their pizza's are honestly life I trust them with my pizza and they're amazing just trust me get one. Their chips aren't as good but the pizza is supreme would definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

Average chippy food as chips all shapes and sizes. however excellent pizzas for a takeaway.......................
