Pizzalicious in Sunderland

I’m asked can I pay card or Apple Pay “yes”, end of order it’s “cash only”. Really?! VERY frustrating!!!! 5 minutes I’ll never get back……

Ordered food. To be well done never received as such after calling to let the staff know was told even thonit was there mistake and not the way kids liked was told there was nothing they could do and would make up for next time very disappointed as it was a treat for the kids and no sypahy shown wouldn't recommend anymore sad to see the way this company has turned

Best kebab I’ve had for a long long time. Great food and service. This is the best takeaway within a ten mile radius.

Ordered a meal for collection travelled 5 mile to get there item from meal missing had to return to get it otherwise someone was not eating. Called to speak with staff got no gratitude it was as if sorry it’s ok. I’ve used them for year. Last time. Oh the manager did not have the time to speak.

Poor burnt pizza Order missing items Had to show receipt to show they messed up order. Used to be like clock work total shambles now not worth the wait or being called a liar Another customer gone....

Used this shop a good few times & been satisfied until tonight's order... chicken Parmesan the chicken base was so over cooked it was like trying to bite into rubber! The dog even turned his nose up at it... the topping was lovely but that base made it unbeatable.. the chips have changed as well but they are not the best. The whole lot went in the bin very very dissatisfied I won't use this shop again.

They have changed their chips to some scabby fries. They are not nice at all. They do the best gluten free pizzas around which is why they got a 4 rather than a 2.

Ordered food and delivery took nearly 2 hours and food was cold Very disappointed as this shop is usually spot on

Placed an order at 17:30 to be delivered ar 19:00 and it was an hour late. Rang the shop twice to be on the road!!! Must have been on the A19 for to take that long. To say the food was just warm was an understatement....

Burnt Burnt Burnt the full £34 pounds worth this place wants shutting down ripping people off of the hard earned cash!full lot got thrown in the bin never in my life had food like it I wuddnt give it to my dog never mind my children I advise people to make beans on toast then spend money hear as that's whar we had to do!as it was like card board black!!!! Not happy they sed bring it back and we will change it as if we where gonna drive all that way back from shotton to there shop they should of offerd our money back or to drop it off they've got eyes they could clearly see three pizzas and a kebab was burnt Not happy at all

I love the pizza here at Pizzalicious. Even though they don’t deliver to my home it’s definitely worth the trip to pick up our food. I love the ham and pineapple pizza with the cheesy garlic bread. Thin crust in particular. Ample topping and always hot. The rest of the family try the kebabs, parmo’s etc which they love. Love it

Telephone ordered a 12 inch pizza for delivery to be told about an hour - ok.Pizza arrived 2 and a half hours later very dried out almost inedible binned it went to bed.Telephoned following evening to complain and was told should have rang previous night but the manager would ring ..... Not holding my breath it’s been 5 days!

To be fair I will start off by saying that I have used Pizzalicious regularly since moving to the area 3 years ago (we are a 5 min drive away from the shop) and are usually satisfied. We waited 60 mins for our order tonight - no problem, they are usually very busy on a Saturday. However, the 'plain' peri peri chicken kebab I ordered was covered in onions, salad and mayo. I rang to explain, they apologised and said they would send a replacement. I was to keep my chips which came as part of the meal, but simply hand back the wrong kebab to the driver (am I not to be trusted that the order was wrong?) I ate my chips whilst I waited. Bearing in mind we are a 5 mins drive from the shop, I had to call back after a further 20 min wait as the replacement kebab hadn't turned up. I was told it was on its way. Ten minutes later it finally arrived to someone who, after eating the chips 30 minutes earlier (before they got cold, and assuming the kebab would be arriving imminently) was not in the least bit hungry anymore. 75% of it went in the bin. I felt compelled to write a review this time as it's actually the second time it's happened. I understand mistakes happen, but not correcting them immediately simply because you're 'busy' is not acceptable and extremely poor customer service! I won't purchase from here again. There are plenty of pizza shops within the area so perhaps pizzalicious should take this into consideration when dealing with complaints.

Always come here for takeaway food-chicken kebabs are to die for- pizzas too! Very clean shop very well organised - well run very quick service too we always ring order in first so we never have much of a wait- this has to be one of the best takeaways in houghton area- in fact been from Sunderland it's the best takeaway Iv tasted even compared to those takeaways in Sunderland. Staff are always lovely & welcoming! 10/10!

This is the king of kings as far as our family are concerned. Nothing is too much of a problem from the team at Pizzalicious and the pizza and food from the griddle or Grille is fantastic.

Great reputation great menu great staff great value but due to their popularity I would advise you to ring up and order if you intend to collect otherwise (like I did) you sit for ever watching people come and go collect orders until they eventually get to you. Love the scoff though

good food and lots on the menu and friendly staff and parking out side so eacy to get to only a mile from houghton le spring.

Never been disappointed, food is amazing , worth the car journey, the chilli mmmmm !!! ask for the food to be cooked way you like it and the staff listen , staff always polite and friendly never go anywhere else

I have been a regular at Pizzalicious since it opened & either get a delivery or collect at least once a week & always on a Saturday for a family night while watching TV.

Great friendly service great valve for your money lots of choice from the menu.food is always prepared fresh and with little wait.well worth the travel

Having used this place since it opened up....It has never disappointed. Would recommend a dirty pizza ( any pizza with donner meat on it lol 😂)
