It's dominoes, you know the drill

Ordered 2 pizzas. Called to tell them the tomato base was extremely salty only to me met with an arrogant member of staff on the other end of the phone. Won't be using them ever again. Fuming.

Asked for barbeque sauce on base got tomato. Totally ruined my pizza!

My order did not arrive, had a missed call and they did not answer back, tipped the driver prior aswel, definitely not coming back .

Seems a great place, I ordered for the kids while at work and they seemed pleased with it.

Spent £65 on a takeaway with dominoes whereby they forgot part of the order. I was told I couldn’t get a refund unless I contacted head office. They wanted to send a replacement but it would take at least 15 mins! When the rest of the food would’ve been getting cold. Had to basically BEG for a refund and send pics of my food! Have no idea why when I wasn’t complaining about the food just the fact they had forgotten something which driver confirmed was missing!! Customer service was appalling at shop too! Won’t order ever again! Absolutely ridiculous.

Ordered food was very late when it eventually arrived it was all burnt. So rang the shop for them to answer I couldn’t have any other food they are to busy. Don’t bother ordering from this shop they obviously haven’t a clue what they doing

Order online a few times now, made substitutions to osme of the menu and these were actioned. Delivery drivers I've had are lovely too

Although I used to love Domino's pizza and always received great service from this branch, I can't justify the prices they're now asking. Paying £40 for two large pizzas feels like a rip-off, and looking back, I'm not sure what possessed me, perhaps just hunger. In hindsight, it wasn't worth the £40 at all. Supermarkets offer much cheaper options, and to be fair, their pizzas often taste fresher.

I have put a very negative review in past. But I couldn’t fault today so deleted.

Its ok but personally i'm not a huge fan of domino's, i dont think it's pretty overpriced for what it is, the other half says it's fantastic though and never had a bad meal from here yet. Delivery drivers could do with parking in the proper car park 1 min walk away rather than making the road with double yellow lines at the side of the building their car park and making it harder to get cars through though.

When you have seen one you've seen them all, just wish they would change the prices on the menu instead of pretending there's always a sale on

Sent the complete wrong pizza. Contacted the store to be told I could have a replacement and a refund. Received the replacement and it was stone cold freezing! (Driver couldn’t find my house) so the driver took it back to the shop and another driver come. I returned both pizzas and made a complaint online to be told I can’t have a refund as I accepted the replacement! Which I had to drive to the store to collect myself! Never using dominos again!

With the world getting back to normal they are still not going to accept cash.

I wish I could remember the name of the person who cooked my pizza tonight. I know their name had cheese in! Big cheese or cheesy something…. The bottom of the pizza almost seemed a bit crispy and we loved it. My husband said the same thing omg it was amazing! Been coming here for years and usually it’s nice but it’s never been as nice as it was tonight. Please keep making the pizzas like that! Love it!

Orderd pizza and two sides, first come with no pizza how does ordering a dominos come with no pizza 25 minuets later returned with pizza freezing cold and the same sides.. cold. Was told.by the shop against there policy to cook the sides again... the shops a joke and so is there management... embarrassing

Put everything on the pizza I asked them to take off. So sexy of them especially because I have a capsicum allergy. Couldn't ring them to change it cause I ordered at closing time. Very fun

Ordered a few times from here lately and quality has gone downhill. Big air bubbles in dough, toppings were creasy, overall just not good quality compared to what it was years ago. Sort it out dominos!

Ordered the same pizza I always get from Dominoes so I know it’s not the toppings I choose and this is the THIRD time I’ve ordered and it’s been either swimming in grease or the toppings have not stayed on the pizza

The manager does not listen to concerns. Very poor service delivery and not supportive to customers. I do not recommend. Online service and I don’t know why the review has no online service option.

Been ordering long time from Domino’s now and a big fan of Cheeseburger pizza. Today ordered one and received a pizza full of sauce on top and no sign of cheeseburger bits on it, very disappointed with it and not going to order from them anymore. Not recommending current quality at all.

Slow cold and as fast as a horse with 8 legs the horse was missing 7 of them 2 hours to cook then 30 minutes delivery

Absolutely horrendus service orderd a pizza on Saturday night waited 1 hour and 40 minutes when it said 20-30 mins on website and still no food, called and it hadnt even left the shop! Cancelled the order and they said up to 5 days later for a refund it has been 9 days now still no refund to be told by them i should receive it in a futher few days not good enough

Was stuck in quality control so you would have thought it will be good. Chicken strippers and wedges were soft and undercooked. BBQ pizza was bland and tasteless even though I doubled up on garlic spread. Not my usual dominos so first time I've ordered from here and wouldn't again.

Abysmal service. 45 minutes after it went out for delivery, I've had a driver drop a big garlic all over our carpet. Couldn't even offer a partial refund for all of the time wasted here. Tone deaf. Spend your money anywhere else.

Order was late and cold, driver then proceeded to drop a pot of garlic sauce in our porch which exploded everywhere, told we’d get a replacement order with no urgency.

What can I say? Sometimes the foods was undercooked sometimes. I was from Leicester and I lived in Birmingham too, and I rarely had any issues until this one. I ordered the food pretty much almost every week, I even tipped the drivers sometimes. Two months ago we've been barred and we were apparently a threat, because my friend made a complaint sometimes about foods being undercooked, which is fair enough. You don't pay for foods being undercooked a lot of time. I still haven't even got my £25 refund from my previous order when they cancelled my order. I can honestly say I won't be ordering food from there again.

Delivery driver got lost so took food back to shop and another driver brought out. Pizza and wedges were so cold went in the bin. Why couldn’t the driver have rang he had our number ???? Waste of £30

I have often tipped the drivers and been very friendly to them... yet when I ring up to make a valid complaint about the quality of the food and all of a sudden I'm told management have banned me because I'm a danger to the drivers! liars! Waiting forever for someone to return my calls. very unprofessional.

Nice pizza 🍕, thay are nice thin crust but dry if thick crust, and thay are sometimes burnt, the pepperoni is dry aswell

Disgusting service, uncooked pizza arrivrd after first order didn't. Paid twice in the end for inedible food that went in the bin, Eddie unable to help on night.. Richard the manager not able to help any more the day after. Lost a loyal customer, for good. Gave this place far too many chances, food is poor quality regularly. Miss the dominos of home.

This store is very, very light on cheese compared to other North East Domino's I have tried. Like really light. Clear cost cutting measure by the store/franchisee that leaves the pizza sub par compared to other Domino's unfortunately. The dough also tasted a bit old and had that over-proofed finish on this occasion. Not as enjoyable as a pizza should be on this occasion

Realy good pizza and got here very quick...

Absolutely fuming! Ordered from this branch at 6.30 most of the items were delivered but 1 was missing! Rang about it and was told it would be delivered within the hour, still don’t arrive! Rang again and was told it would be delivered within 30 mins and surprise surprise we are still waiting for it 2 and a half hours later! Shocking customer service and even worse delivery service! Won’t be ordering from this branch again!

Called in to request they leave the pizza in a little longer, because they are always under-cooked. They refused, so I asked for my money back. IT was NEVER returned!!! Took it up with head office and they are leaving it to the franchise team, who want to offer me one pizza as a sorry and some cookies. Disgrace.

The meal itself was lovely but the delivery time was terrible. After an hour had passed after placing my order I phoned up and was told there were only two drivers working and they were covering a large area and from ordering to delivery it was getting close to two hours. As it was late at night and I had to be up for work in the morning had I known in advance it would take so long to get my meal I wouldn't have ordered from Dominos. Also had I not already paid in advance for the meal I would have cancelled when I phoned up and was told it could be another 45 minutes before I got my meal.

A woman in the phone to my friend was very rude. She was on the phone with him for at least half an hour saying his details didn't work however he used the exact same details not two days ago to get a delivery from there. After reading out his whole bank card slowly like abc "apple, book, cook" to help her, around three times, after she placed the delivery he asked what time he should be expecting the pizza she hung up on him so he had to call again.

If I could rate zero stars I would... I placed the order and it said 30 mins for delivery.. fine.. it turned up just after an hour and was stone cold and looked like it had been sat for ages and even looked liked it had been dropped.. this Dominos is an absolute car crash, avoid at all costs.. Not what you expect for £20 for a pizza... complete rip off.. won’t be ordering again

Service needs to be quicker. When you order for collection & your name is on the screen saying ready & you still have to wait 15 minutes.

I won’t be ordering from here again the service time is absolutely appalling I ordered at 00:30 and I didn’t get it till 02:15 my pizza was stone cold and then they forgot my cookies and said try ringing shop for them to hang up 7 times in a row

Really disappointed just ordered a chicken kiev pizza, but they did not add the garlic butter. Sorry but its not a kiev without the garlic.

Recently been refurbished, now has an indoor seating area.

Prices here have gone up so much, you now pay as much as you would in an Italian restaurant. You would think that if you paid £15 for a pizza (which I did) they would at least make an effort to ensure it arrived with everything intact. Mine was missing a topping, and was barely warm. This place has gone downhill, with its poor customer service and 'we don't care' attitude. Will not be ordering again. Not even worth the one star.

Ordered online, food came really quickly delivery driver was very pleasant and nice. Pizza's were hot and really nice could not complain about the food. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for quick food for a night with friends.

We have bought pizza from Dominos all over the country, and this is one of the best. I know it's only Pizza, and you'd think that they would all be the same, but no, this one is up there with South Shields (The Nook). Well done Houghton.!!

Thoroughly gutted about today's experience. I am usually quite the dominos super fan but today I was met with an encounter from hell. Pizza was delivered in a reasonable time and I was excited as I approached the door. Was greeted by a man who told me he had forgotten my dough balls. Usually I wouldn't mind but I am having an emotional day and all I needed was some beautiful yeasty spheres! He said they would be delivered in half an hour on his next journey. My eyes began to fill with tears as I handed over the money and inspected my pile of chicken, pizza and wedges. It was missing the main attraction and my heart was broken. The next part of my ordeal was when I opened the strippers combo box and I was greeted by some exquisite strips but only 24 wedges. TWENTY. FOUR. That resulted in us having to eat only 12 wedges each. I have been left hangry and upset however it's cheap and convenient so for this reason I will likely return, but I won't be happy about it. ( see picture and note the lack of dough balls )

So 12.20 this morning i placed an order got a txt at 1.20am to say my order was on way only for it to arrive at 3.30am😠😠😠 (i live only 20 mins away from houghton le spring ) 1 pizza wasnt cooked proply and all food was freezing cold safe to say wnt be ordering from here again if i could give less then 1 star i would

Normally spot on but ordered 2nite and turned up 2hours later when phoned up after an hour and telt is it busy then just hung up on the phone this was 3am how busy can you be at that time, will not be coming back after that customer service I received, wasn't even rude just asked why it was talking so long and I ordered at least twice a week

If you want stone cold food delivered to your door then this is the place for you. Cold and sloppy. What happened to Dominos?! Used to like ordering from here but it's gone right down hill. Oh and also be prepared that you may not get change and the drivers like to slam the gate without closing it or spill sauce all over your house when they basically throw your order at you. Won't be ordering again!

This used to be a great place to order pizza from. Pricey but can't complain when it's a treat at the end of the hard worked week. But lately it has gone downhill, MASSIVELY! I'll just save you all the disappointing stories to this review and tell you to avoid this place and use a local pizza shop instead. I've been forgotten about and had to ring up and remind them, received the wrong order, haven't received enough of the order and now all 3 wrapped up in one night. I don't know what's went wrong with this place in the last 6 months but it just seems they don't try hard enough with their job.

Ordered online from website (Friday 23rd Sep approx 5:45pm). It had been a toss up between Papa Johns in Durham and Houghton Domino's. The latter won (though we'd heard and read mixed reviews for both).

Ordered a pizza and was impressed to receive a prompt text to say it was on its way. Seemed like great service, online tracker too so you can monitor progress.....Until an hour later when it says its delivered, and its not. Ring store to check it had not went anywhere else to be told it was leaving soon as they had just marked it as delivered to get it off their list. Waste of time.

Please please, dont have a go at the delievery guys who bring your pizza. Its the shop who messes up and the guys get the flak from you wonderful customers. They really dont get paid enough so please give them a break.

The order arrived one and a quarter hours late and on the phone we were just given excuses and no compensation of any sort. I've heard from a friend who works at the Pallion shop that they're meant to offer something extra after apologising, but this girl just talked crap. At least the food arrived hot and still edible, but the wait really curved our appetite as by the time our order arrived it was close to 2 in the morning and we both had early wake-up calls. Definitely not ordering from there again.

Decided on a late night order when it did arrive part of the order was missing so driver had to go back to the shop to get it, by the time it arrived was cold no dips included with pizza or chicken strips contacted customer support to resolve was offered a £5 voucher that can't be used with any other offer which is quite poor as like nearly all thier customer only use them for the offers

It's a rarity you pay for a full price pizza, as there's always offers on - however, they're still slightly over priced. Having said that, the food is always of top quality and very tasty! Had a slight issue with missing toppings from my last order, phoned up and had a new pizza made straight away!

Regularly use Dominos but only when offers are on as although the pizzas are excellent I would not pay full price for one ie large £16 or £17. We normally order when 50% off and buy two x large half and half so that you can experience four decent size portions. When it first opened the app was unreliable and I often had to double check with the shop to see what was happening. I did complain to the shop but was redirected to head and office and then vice versa so got nowhere but having said that have had no further problems ordering online with the app. In conclusion the pizzas I have had have always been if the highest quality.

Awful pizza... the base was soggy and the sauce tasted a little on the ripe side. Didn't eat it unfortunately went in the bin...URGH!

I normally use the Dominos in Chester le Street, which is first class in every respect. Nice staff, very clean and prompt service with excellent toppings.
