Domino's Pizza in Sunderland

as far as dominos goes this is the best one ive been to

I had to feed a large group of over 50 people. I placed the order on Monday afternoon and Emily assured me it would be delivered at the right time and place on Tuesday. The delivery showed up on time, helped me carry in 30 pizzas, and that was that. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They were great to work with, and everybody loved the pizzas.

Took over a hour for delivery pizza was wrong all the food was cold stuff missing I phoned to be told by a member of staff to phone back tomorrow we are closed never again

The staff is so rude, went in to eat with my friends but he rudely told us we can't eat in the store that I hv to order out. Had to leave and get my food elsewhere

The worker on shift was so helpful, patient, and efficient even though they were working on their own at lunch hour! Wish they had more support.

Lovely food as per dominos, however in the shop there were few wobbly tables which kinda annoyed us while eating. Overall a good dominos!

Shocking customer service here I asked if I could place order and he said are it's card only how's that sure you would take cast as well I am a delivery driver my self and I do understand that you get fake addresses but I rang the shop to order I would of give my number and name if i had too to now on I avoid this place

Terrible experience from this store. Placed an order online then watched the delivery tracker as the driver went halfway around Sunderland before getting to me - even though I live about 5 minutes from this store. Delivery driver wasnt from the UK - don't blame him for not knowing Sunderland, but shame on Dominos for not giving their staff the tools to do the job properly. I complained about the fact that delivery took about 40 minutes and the food was stone cold. Was told that because I hadnt called the store there was nothing they could do about a refund. Disgusting service from Dominos. Anyone recommend a good pizza shop in Sunderland cos I wont be ordering from these jokers again.

Tried to order online and went through with the entire order to then have the payment taken from the bank account and then the order couldn't be processed! Called up to find out what the problem was, only to be told the money would be back in the account within 5-7 days, no explanation, or help!

To the staff working in Sunderland central 16/11/22 around 17:30. Nice one! Order was spot on, was like it came out the oven through the front door. Shout out to Anu the driver - this lad was like lightning on the delivery, I jumped in the shower when I ordered and next thing he’s at the door with the pizza. I dropped you a winston on Tipjar kid - much appreciated! One thing though Dominos - surely you can make the cookies bigger lyyyyk?! 😋

This is the worst dominos around here twice I've been once the nachos and pizza came burnt and the other there was literally 0 cheese on it if you want dominos go to another one

It is different from what I have had before. I loved it. The staff are chill and friendly too.

My delivery driver got lost (my street is awkward to find) phoned me very apologetic explaining she was lost, after an ordeal and me wandering around in my slippers and snuddie, the lovely woman dropped me back off to my house, couldn't catch her name, but she was a fantastic delivery driver, and 10/10 service for dropping me and my pizza home

The delivery and the service was at its worst, the order came out missing an item. Tried to phone them and the treatment from the manager of both branches central and south was so bad and refused to deliver the missing item even though I could make an order online. All I wanted was a complete order and a respectful/decent treatment. Unprofessional and will never order from them again

Love this place. Always on time, always hot food and fresh. Lovely drivers who always go above and beyond. ❤️

They have fantastic pizza of different prices

Ordered two weeks ago and the order turned up with a few items missing. Rang up and they were having problem with drivers so agreed to refund for the missing items. No refund happened within a few days so I completed their survey negatively. They rang to apologize and said they forgot to say refunds can take 3-5 days. Two weeks later and still no refund has appeared.

There is an employee there that is beyond rude, her name is Melissa. I go to the university here and was given a wrist band for £6.99 pizza, but the wrist band never fit me so I just kept it in my wallet. Melissa said I can’t use it and was being very unreasonable, she’s absolutely miserable and will clearly be working at the Dominos forever as she acts like it’s her own company and she’s making profit from it.

ordered a pizza and a side order and they would not deliver it to my door. I have limited mobility and now I have not been refunded. absolutely unacceptable level of service. I fail to see why I have to apologise for being old with lack of mobility? And you STILL charged me and I have not received any food? Utter tramps.

It's fine. It's a domino's so not much to say. The staff were very friendly and the pizzas were good. They actually got one of ours wrong, but happily sent the correct one out straight away.

Always has great experiences at this location and this topped it off today

Order from here every week and most of the time the orders are okay but tonight one of the pizzas is literally toast. Not on really considering I’m spending £40 and they can’t get there speciality right first time. To make things worse, the replacement sent out arrived over an hour later and that one was stone cold. Not happy at all and very frustrating. Thanks, Lee.

AVOID! Worst dominos pizza I’ve had by far. Ordered one pizza and it was covered in a weird orange grease. I called up and complained about it and spoke to the very rude manger who made me bring the pizza back to the shop and exchange it for another one. Once I got there she made me check the new pizza in front of her to make sure it was okay and all seemed well until I came home and bit into it to find the same orange grease dripping out. Worst pizza I’ve had in my life and it nearly made me throw up. SERIOUSLY AVOID!!!

The first time we had an issue they didn't send out a garlic bread. We phoned twice where a woman answered the phone saying it would be there soon. It arrived after one hour, however we weren't in and she said we could get a refund. I contacted dominos who said that wasn't possible. Great, liar. Now they didn't include our drink. Who I am certain is the same woman said it would be sent out soon. Twice. It never arrived. Yeah, great staff.

Clean, good food, friendly staff and toilets

My pizza was cold but fast delivery. Not very impressed as I like Domino's.

1st time using Sunderland central and they smashed it! 21mins from order to front door. The drivers took current social distancing situation seriously, kindly placing food where requested to. Food was piping hot, pizzas were bursting with juicy toppings. Only Criticism would be the wedges could of done with cooking another minute or two but can’t deduct a star for that. Overall spot on - Thanks a lot!

Very poor hugine. Staff touches cash and makes pizza with dirty hands. Majority of staff smells like sweat.. Food poisoning guaranteed..

Went for my lunch and I only had 1 hour, it was so busy there were college students etc. And only 1 person was serving everyone AND the poor man was also preparing pizzas for deliveries! (This was about 12:30pm) I and my friend waited 40 minutes for our pizzas because the man was literally run off his feet. Please hire more staff for lunchtime shifts as this was a disgrace had to rush my food and then when I went to throw my rubbish out the bin was so full because the man didn’t have time to empty it, it was just heartbreaking to see that and I feel really sorry for him!

When this store first opened, I actually found them to be really efficient, but now they’re utterly useless when it comes to deliveries. Sometimes all will go well (hence why they get 2* instead of 1), and the delivery drivers are always really nice, but I’ve had so many things go wrong here. Firstly, I generally find them quite slow, which isn’t too bad on its own but in combination with my other complaints is very irritating. I’ve recently had a part of my order left out on two separate occasions. A few months ago my driver got lost and from leaving the store delivery took over 45 minutes (I live 10 min away); he still delivered the pizza, and as predicted, it was stone cold. For someone who hates making phone calls, it’s a nightmare. There have also been a few times where I’ve pointed out that something’s missing to the driver, but they’ll realise it’s still in their bag. Today my order was predicted to take between 25 and 35 minutes, but took an hour. On the app I noticed that the driver was driving towards me, then turned around and went back to the store. I eventually got my pizza after giving him directions as his sat nav wasn’t working. The food generally tastes the same as other Dominos stores (if you get what you order and it’s not freezing), but I wouldn’t recommend getting a delivery from this store. I feel bad giving a negative review when the staff are so nice, and obviously it’s not a world tragedy, but it’s very irksome when Dominos is so overpriced for what it is anyway.

Got order wrong. Had very rude woman on the phone who insinuated I was the one in the wrong and just sent the missing item from the order with no compensation. Terrible customer service.

Order every week for our household. Always the same veggie pizza for me. Tonight it came with raw toppings that fell of the pizza. Rang and spoke to a very polite and professional gentleman who said he would send a replacement with the next driver. Five minutes later a rude girl rang and aggressively asked 'can you tell me exactly what was wrong with your pizza'. So I did. She put me on hold for a while before coming back to tell me there couldn't be anything wrong with it. I suggested she came and had a look at the raw mushrooms, which she declined. In the end I was so sick of her rude attitude I told her not to bother sending anything else and from now on we will order from another dominos in Sunderland. Did she call just to antagonise me or is she just an unprofessional jobsworth with a terrible approach to customer service? Poor show Dominos Central. Very poor show.

The customer service is absolutely diabolical, the woman on the phone was rude and spoke down to us, the food took an hour then was the wrong order and we had to walk to get it as it wasn’t dropped off at the correct place, then the right order came a further hour later and was stone cold. Would not recommend

Nice folks great pizza. Visiting from USA and he did all he could to help me do a Paypal since my card didn't work over here. Then delivered.

I cant remember anythig cuz i was too drunk, but my friends told me i enjoyed every piece of pizza.
