Pizza Village in Kirklees

Despite a lack of English, the owner and main man is really nice, tries to be friendly and talkative. And he makes a mean Kebab.

I ordered vegetables samosas because I am vegetarian, give me meat samosas, u phoned to explain that they was meat and not vegetables ones, he told me that they was vegetables ones when clearly they wasn't then put the phone down on me discussing service, never again

Threw my guts up ever since finding a slug in the pizza box. Avoid at all costs. No acceptance or apology. This place needs shutting down.

We don't have many options for takeaway's in the area we live. We have been ordering food from pizza village for some years, the staff are extremely friendly and very polite. We have noticed the increase of price across the menu, unfortunately the quality doesn't match the price. We have tried a few different things on the menu,the food is of average standard and is the reason we return. We have visited the shop once and it appeared very clean and looked after, the staff seemed happy too.

Trust negative reviews they are there for a reason. I really don't understand how these shops are allowed to run in uk. A quick look will show you that it's a third world pizza shop. Eat at your risk. Save your health and money by getting a frozen pizza yourself and reheating it in oven. Which is what they do except in a much worse way. I went to the shop but after having a look I decided not to bother.

Don't know what everyone hates this place guys are always friendly and the food is cheap and really good, garlic pizza is mad good

Clearly not capable of reading notes on my just eat order as order arrived incorrect. Food is overpriced, bog standard and nothing else. This takeaway going under would probably benefit Kirkburton as it’s employees are struggling to read basic notes and flip burgers. Would highly NOT recommend.

Ordered a pizza the guy was so so rude on the phone and aggressive to a point my partner asked why are you been so rude he made an remark there was noise in the back ground which there was it was the telly we placed on mute but then he still carried on rude. I feel sorry for owner I think his sons are running it and clearly running it to the ground after reading the other reviews on here all saying the same thing. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all customer service is horrendous very very disappointed AVOID.

Food was terrible. Gourmet chicken burger was the cheapest breaded chicken filet ever!!! And garlic bread tasted like plastic. Don’t waste your money here. Go to burton grill in kirkburton 1000% times better!!!

Ordered via just eat and order was immediately cancelled. Just called to ask why. Gentleman who answered the phone was very rude. Rushed me off the phone saying bye, bye ,bye when i was asking why it was cancelled. Will not be placing an order with them again. Very bad customer service.

Despite it changing hands a few times, we've probably been going here for 20 years. It's enjoyable pizza for a decent price.

I ordered a tomato garlic pizza bread and it tasted like a re heated supermarket pizza with clumps of garlic dashed all over it. could’ve made one better myself with my eyes closed, Wasn’t even cut evenly looks like Stevie wonder had a bash on it and it took 45 minutes to arrive. Shocking experience will not be going again! If Lonsdale slip ons was a pizza it would be this.

Food arrived with a DEAD FLY in the popadom and after complaining on the just eat app Pizza Village rang me shouting at me to take down the complaint whilst being very aggressive

Customer service is terrible, very rude tried to convince me that a meat burger was a bean burger, refused any sort of replacement or compensation
