Pizza Uno in County Durham

Awful ordred thin base was deep!! Toppin was sloppy Lardo mess!! Inable to cut cos soggy greasy topping fell into box!! Stick to Casa Rosa real cheese!! True sayin pay for what ya get!!! Waste o money here!!

Pizzas usually very nice until they decide they don't like me and send either plasticy pizza, a pizza with hair in it or thin crust for some reason? This is like 3 out of maybe 20 times though. The chicken burger and cheeseburgers are very very nice all the time The chips are dead, the cajun fries are a bit crap too because they do season it but it's uneven and some aren't seasoned because they don't shake it Try it but it MIGHT be rubbish sometimes

Only issue we had was the sauces were missed off the hotdogs. Every else was perfect

Everytime we order, whether online or over phone, something is missing from order or totally incorrect! Ring & complain, ask for item to be sent and it never arrives! Same again tonight, been waiting for 45 mins so far for a pitta bread! Asked for no onion in wrap, had to sit and pick it out. Ridiculous, they never get it right.

The food is always lovely from here, usually early & the delivery drivers are all really friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Unfortunately these pizzas were a massive disappointment possibly the biggest waste of £36. I’ve ever spent the 14”stuffed crust was sloppy and nothing stuck to the base the ingredients just slid off which is an indication of to much cheese and it had no flavour whatsoever, the stuffed cheese crust was stuffed with hollow parcels of disappointment and no cheese. The other pizza had jalapeño on instead of onion which was stated on the menu see “nettino” pizza and tell me where it says jalapeño??

absolutely gorgeous. daughter even asked where it was from so she can order herself. driver was very polite given how late it was. 100% will order again

Absolutely diabolical. Arrived earlier than requested. 2 pizzas and a garlic bread. All completely inedible. The cheese was solid. Obviously previously cooked then reheated. It had congealed into a solid lump. Rang to complain and request a refund and was refused. 30 quid down drain and pizzas in bin.

It was a bit expensive and we asked for sweetcorn on the pizza but they didnt put it on. They charged 2 pound for the sweetcorn. The young lady at the counter is miserable everytime we go. Overall i think istanbul is better

Haven't use pizza uno for awhile it used to be good but portions started getting so small so stopped going...my lass fancied a chicken strip wrap with cheese.so give it another try...really poor about 2 bits of chicken in it and a few chips...also was charged £8.50 I thought it was expensive but thought menu might of gone up but have since checked just eat and been charged 2 quid more..definitely won't be back there istanbul is way better just up the road

Great food for me but my parents always have a problem with there’s such as missing food or not taking something out of it. On of my friends had it and it came with spit and wee on it. But it was good for me.

Ordered a salad. What I received was a monstrosity. Salami, cheese, chicken, coleslaw, pineapple and some wilted lettuce. Waste of a fiver.

Just ordered a 14inch burger meat pizza box very disappointed with it Luke warm little cheese and practically no garlic sauce on the chips. Won't be ordering from there again £19.50 not well spent

**separate cans of Coke from food so it doesn't make the food go cold and drinks warm** First time I came here it was the best food in the area pizza shop wise, gradually it gets worse, the service has always been very poor, miserable staff, slow, always making mistakes adding up, forgetting items, but.. I put up with it because the food was decent. Last 2 times the food was very poor along with missed items twice now so unfortunately that was my last time there. we eat there 3 times a week netting them 80-100 quid a week now I take my custom else where. Drastic changes are needed, standards slipping.

Been ordering from here for about 1 year now and I must say I haven’t had. A bad meal from them I live in Washington and food is always pipping hot and always on time 😀

Tonight our donner wrap was clay cold. Rang up to complain. Lady on phone not very helpful. Returned cold food and cooked for ourselves. Not worth risking food poisoning. Chef husband reported restaurant to EHO for poor food temperature control.

My last 4 orders have been wrong! Very poor service as the staff making the pizzas , miss paid extras or don't give thin base as requested on order. . I even left a note to remind them of thin base and 2 extra toppings were missing! How hard can it be to make a pizza. Try to support local businesses, but I will not be ordering from here again.

Worst pizza I’ve ever had, supposed to be thin crust.. was thick, suppose to be hot and spicy.. 2 jalapeños no chilli, 3 bits of salami, bolognaise sauce and cheese minimal and was all over like slop one one side of pizza… went in the bin

Just collected Bolognese pizza, garlic pizza, chips and garlic sauce, I can only say the best bit was the garlic sauce. I don't know what has happened, it used to be the best Bolognese pizza for miles, not now, next to no Bolognese sauce and pizza base so thin. Won't be buying from here again.

Kebab meat was vile and no other way to describe it. Also some was hot and other cold??? Never again!!

Just ordered a kebab wrap with salad fries chilli nd garlic. Salad was shocking lettuce red onion nd tomato wat happened 2 propper kebab salad it was stone cold aswell the fries. Rang 2 complain nd poor lass had 2 deal with it as they would not come and speak 2 me pure rotten

Ordered vegetarian with chicken, paid extra, came no chicken, rang to report this and called a liar!! Lack of toppings too much bread (ordered thin crust) very expensive for what it was. Not nice. Won’t be back

Didn’t wait too long for delivery which was probably the only good thing! But not sure how the food was so cold on delivery. It was freezing! Like not even warm… freezing! I had to actually put the pizza and chips in my oven to warm them up. Also no sauces (which I paid for) were sent! I rang up and told they would be sent ASAP. Took almost an hour to get sauces! Honestly how hard is it to double check an order before you send it with driver!!

Yes best one - dont bother with the others. The pizza base is fresh dough - fresh light and fluffy. The place itself inside looks like it needs a bit of a clean ie. dirty hand marks on doors/cabinets etc and floor dirty. Service polite and didnt have to wait too long when popping in. Only downfall they dont put enough cheese on the pizza so always go for extra which shouldnt have to really and the cheesy chips arent very nice.

Can't comment on anything but the pizzas but the last two orders have been terrible shame as a couple of years ago they were lovely. Sad to say we won't be buying from here again

Ordered on uber eats, food arrived early however the pizza was stone cold, my child's meal was still raw. Rang up to complain to be told they would send a new order out withing half hour, 40 minutes later the food arrived however they had only replaced the pizza, no kids meal which resulted in me having to cook something for my child. Will not be ordering from here again!!!

Undercooked & soggy sundries. Chicken kebab just coverd in crap tasting sauce, rather than marinated & small position. Only plus was quick delivery. Best pizza shops in the area Istanbul pizza & Donna's. Avoid uno.

This takeaway wasn’t so good The kebab meat was dry and flavourless..the pizza was ok but was kind of cold not hot enough but still had decent amount of flavour to it. The mega wrap was very large and tasted quite nice only problem was it came quite messy...Overall some of the food is nice but some isnt..just standard takeaway really.

Placed order at 7.16 come at 8.55 pizza over cooked now i dont no if u no what goes on nachos but its salsa sauce sour cream all i got was tortillas with tiny bit cheese kebab meat was greasy absolutely appalling

Not for us unfortunately. We decided to try somewhere new to buy takeaway, but we found the ingredients a bit bland from pizza uno. It was ok, but nothing really any better than a standard takeaway.

Discusting we spent £30 on a meal that was awful, kebab was rock hard, pizza was over cooked, they forgot part of the order. Will not use again. Never had such a vile meal. Do not recommend at all!!!

Absolutely horrendous. Was on Uber eats so thought they delivered to my area. When I rang they told me they didn’t (which is fair enough) so I asked for my money back. They then laughed and told me i needed to cancel the order myself and that it’s not their problem it’s Uber’s

We have enjoyed a large Kiev Pizza from Pizza Uno. It is great value and tasty food however I was shocked at the hygiene rating as it seams clean and tidy.

Oh mi ...wow this is definitely not pizza Uno from Sunderland, calzoni had no cheese inside the pizza it looked disgusting with the cheese on the top of the pizza through finger holes now my 5 year old could have done better it is a 1/10 no garlic sauce never ever buying a pizza from here again I wouldn't even give it to my chickens it was that bad and yea there is some left not nice at.all

Ordered mozarella sticks that cost a bomb at £5 for only 5 , to then realise that they had no cheese in at all, when ringing the shop three times the person on the phone made out she couldnt hear me everytime, completely useless, DONT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

Pizza uno was ok ordered lasagne was quite bland no garlic or traditional seasoning chips were quite dry however reasonably priced supposed you get what you pay for.

Nice pizzas but they don't seem to know their own prices very well.

This place is utterly terrible! Sending out incomplete orders and when you ring them up to complain they accuse you of lying! Absolutely awful. Well where's the missing burger then? Either yous haven't sent it or the delivery driver decided he wanted a quick snack. Either way it is totally unacceptable and I can assure you we a) won't be ordering from here again and, b) we will be sure to let our family and friends who are thinking of ordering from here to reconsider and order from somewhere with good service, good quality food and somewhere with the ability to get an order correct. Or a delivery driver who will deliver the complete order and not treat himself to a cheeky burger from our order. Absolutely awful. Oh and get a decent hygiene rating while you're at it. Edit: It's currently 3:17 am, I'm sat up with my girlfriend whilst she's being sick and bringing everything up that she's eaten. Now she hadn't eaten anything throughout Saturday other than the £18 box deal. So she has the chicken burger that came with it. Nobody else had a chicken burger as it was only one of three different burgers that come with this deal. Or two burgers in my case because well, see above. So myself and our friends are feeling fine after this box deal. My girlfriend however is being sick and is in agony after eating the chicken burger you had provided. So thanks for that guys. After leaving us short, accusing us of lying about the contents of our order, having somebody take one of the burgers at our expense, my other half is now in front of the toilet clutching her stomach which feels like it's on fire and being stamped out because along with an absolutely awful food hygiene rating you have clearly mishandled the chicken burger and made my other half violently sick. So thank you. Thank you for this amazing night/morning. Next time I want to eat awful quality food, be accused of lying about contents of an order and be kept up after working a 6 day week by my girlfriend being sick loudly after eating one of your chicken burgers then I'll definitely keep yous in mind.

Ordered two pizza and wedges. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. Only problem was they forgot to put the garlic sauce in for the wedges, couldn’t be bothered to go back and get it. No other complaints.

used to be nice but lately has gone massively downhill. chips half frozen. garlic sauce tasted off and i have no idea how they managed that, but to top it all of they served us under-cooked chicken and when we rang to complain, they gave us ANOTHER portion of under-cooked chicken!! and im not talking a little undercooked, i mean it was almost RAW. chucked the lot. not happy. get ya act together pizza uno

absolutely vile cold soggy chips will never return

pizza uno has been in pelton for years and only once have I had reason to complain when the delivered food was a bit charred.the most recent pizzas were back to normal.lovely.

Food quality is okay with good value for money but they always seem to get my order wrong

The food is very good but everytime you order you have to wait an age for it to arrive, often almost twice as long as quoted. Please don’t offer a delivery service if you can’t honour the time agreed upon order, and please aim to deliver a customer service that airs some degree of concern when the order reaches the customer cold because it has been “out for delivery” for over an hour.

Paid £9.60 for mixed chicken deal got 1 pitter when we where ment to have two! It was Sopossed to be for two sharing Deal totally Disgraceful for the money 4 bits chicken and few strings of kabab meaning about 5 strips few chips I won't be ordering or wasting my money here again.

Food inedible due to very high salt content. Kebabs were not marinated, just served in tasteless sauces. Chips and pizza seemed to have been cooked hours earlier. Doner meat was anaemic looking and undercooked. Awful customer service when manager informed. A thoroughly disappointing experience.

Ordered a parmo Omg absoulety disgusting 🤢🤢 bread crumb coating to chicken which was a soggy mush, mushrooms,jalapenos raw attempted to be cooked under the cheese. No bechamel sauce this has to be the worst parmo I've ever had! Wish I could upload photo to review for people to see..
