Worst Parmesan I’ve ever had. Made with Bernard Matthew turkey dinosaurs. If you don’t know how to make one don’t bother.

Hands down the best chicken kebab we’ve ever had! Massive portion and lovely fresh salad, including coleslaw.

I have used this takeaway service several times before and have usually received a satisfactory service however this evening it was absolutely appalling. So I placed my order and waited patiently for an update. No update received, which is not usual for this restaurant, but then received a telephone call from the delivery driver saying he had arrived. I went to my door and he wasn't there. We spoke for several minutes and the call ended. After a few minutes still no knock on my door so I called him back to discover he was at the wrong address. He then went on to knock on someone else's door, while I was still on the phone, and had a conversation with the occupants about number 8 (my door number). I was trying to tell him no you're clearly at the wrong address as that is not me. We spoke again and he took my postcode AGAIN and said he would be 5 minutes. 30 minutes later my food arrived! It appeared to be warm so I accepted it however once inside and unpackaged, it was actually cold and therefore not nice at all. I am extremely disappointed in this poor service this evening

Shocking portions for the price! As the majority of their clientele is probably drunk on a Saturday night, they can probably get away with miniscule portions but unfortunately for them I'm not. £6 for a small portion of chips and what can only be described as a smearing of bolognese and cheese is really bad. It didn't even fill the bottom of the small tray it came in. Pic included. I'll stick to where I know from now on.

Order food hub online. Got half my meal and I collected myself from 8 mile away. Phoned them to bring me the other half and was gonna charge me extra £3 for delivery for their mistake. Wouldn't recommend them when they try to rob you for their own mistake

This was utterly disgusting. I ordered a margarita pizza for me and a friend for a sleepover late night snack. When I opened the box it was all fine till I found hot dogs in my pizza crusts! I was livered. Also the pizza was falling apart so I couldn’t even pick a piece up without the toppings falling off. They didn’t even cut the pizza correctly either. I wouldn’t order from here if I was you…

Received food poisoning from garlic mushrooms and fudge cake while husband said that the pizza was just rotten. Just smelt off

Absolutely disgusting kebab last night. The chicken was like off cuts. I'd had a drink and it was still rotten.

Worst kebab I’ve ever had … opened the box to find a pita not cut open, a bit of coleslaw, quarter of a tomato, one slice of cucumber, some red cabbage and some dry chicken. They had no knives to had to break open the pita and try and construct the best I could!!! Terrible don’t do it!!!

I feel very disgusting these days, few days before I went to buy chicken wings to bring home, opened the box to find that the box is very ragged, there are many holes all over the box, like a mouse gnawed. Even if it is not a mouse, the store did not think of replacing a new box when packing 🤮🤮

Placed an order online for the shop opening for my mam. Order went through as confirmed via email and website stated they accept deliveries to her address. Approx 10 minutes before the order was due to be delivered they rang her saying they wouldn’t be delivering as it’s too far away. Good that we didn’t pay upfront or we’d be waiting days for a refund!! Update your website to addresses and postcodes your drivers can be bothered to deliver to in future. My mam is 60 and disabled and to drop her in it 10 minutes before it’s due is ridiculous. Have ordered from here plenty times and always been good but never again. Absolute joke.

Delivery varies widely but this time it arrived suspiciously quickly. Unsurprisingly the pizza was undercooked and the parmo was dry and tasted like it'd been refried.

Sometimes lacks consistency but this is my Go to pizza establishment late at night in Durham. Delivery is always prompt and the value is not bad.

Alway use this pizza shop after a night out, it's open very late on Friday and Saturday nights, we always have no problem getting food when the pubs close at 2am, the food is reasonable priced, always hot and tasty. Pizza Uno is just up from the gala theatre over the main road they take card and cash in the shop which is handy because you can pay in just about everywhere in Durham on a night out and quite unusual for a pizza shop to take card unless online, definitely recommend this place especially after night out.

The pizza I ordered, while edible, arrived 1hr 20 mins late, due to the driver getting lost. Imagine my shock to find a hair in the garlic sauce, and a bone shard on my cold pizza. I get the statement about "all care has been taken to remove bones", we all know that's just a cover up. Try harder, use a sat nav - every phone has one. Will not be ordering again, suggest the reader finds another place to spend their money.

Absolutely awful - “chicken deluxe” burger was literally one piece of chicken and a bit of cheese, nothing else, not even sauce. The chicken was rock hard and the bun was dry. Tasted disgusting. Barely any chips provided. Staff were rude and paid nearly £10, well overpriced.

Ordered a chicken tikka wrap at this establishment and was reassured it was just that. Received chicken dipped in hot sauce … when I questioned it was given nothing but abuse from staff and intimidation. Owner eventually came and gave a refund then kicked me out. Very undignified and uncalled for how I was treated and my friends on a rare get together.

I've ordered here before without any problems until today. Food arrived promptly however the chicken parmo was off. The meat was bad half way through it and smelled like spoiled chicked. The few bites that seemed ok tasted like the fryer oil was past its use date also. Salad was also spoiled. Got a refund through JustEat. Avoid and go elsewhere.

Delivery 1 hour late pizza missing and rest of food cold took it back and got money back will not be back person on phone rude and when called to shop to get money back rude yet again must not want customers to buy food from them

Just had an order delivered of a chicken kebab and cheeseburger. The kebab came without the pitta bread so i rang up, they wanted to send pitta bread out on next delivery but i said i wanted my order re done as would be cold by the time the pitta got delivered. They said no!!! I could just have the bread! Disgusting service from yous would not recommend and would not be ordering from them again. Attitude towards customer disgusting!!!

Horrendous reaction to a call explaining incorrect order. We endured a hostile reaction to a viable complaint following receiving a completely incorrect order. We have used this company for a number of years but obviously standards have subsided beyond acceptable. We have stuck by this establishment throughout accusations of hygiene worries but the hair found in the kebab salad has put a nail in the coffin for us. I wouldnt reccomend this establishment to my worst enemy.

We recently moved to Durham from Sunderland, pizza Uno was out favourite in Sunderland so we thought to try the one in Durham The food doesn't disappoint, top quality and tasted fresh (our favourite is the cheesy chips) We did get our address wrong on the order with being new to the area, we rang up and they were happy ho deliver to the right address. We did realise that they hadn't delivered out drink we ordered, but the driver had gone by the time we ordered. We rang back and someone did come back with our drink and was very apologetic. Good service and will definitely order again

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the customer service we recieved was less than desirable. As well as loud background noise, the person on the phone was really ill-mannered and short with us. He got our order wrong and when we called to mention this poliety, he tried to blame us and denied any wrongdoing on Pizza Uno's part even though this was their mistake. Just an apology would have been nice but instead we were talked to in a rude manner. Nice pizza but im afraid we won't be ordering again.

Always great food nice service with decent prices

Normally lovely from here but last few times wasn't nice. Had to collect order after 20 mins went to shop had to wait a further 10 mins. Asked for a thin crust garlic bread cheese and was deep pan and was stone cold. Garlic mayo tasted old and the salad was not fresh on the kebabs. Been going here after had bad ones from pizza king but I think its time to go elsewhere I always give places a couple of times incase was a general mistake but this has been last few times now so I'm off

Honestly people only review if it’s bad but I’m such a snob for pizza shops but the last 2 months with Pizza Uni has been THE BEST and we go to Houghton, Washington, Durham and Newcastle, pizza uno is superior!!

Late delivery and food was cold on arrival. I rang the restaurant to query where my food was and I was told "it's on it's way" which is fair enough, then after my cold food was delivered I started receiving phone calls and aggressive answer phone messages asking why I've phoned up asking about my delivery, I'm confused and disappointed! And will not be using this restaurant again!!

Duno cause it’s Durham but the pricing is way off we ordered what we thought was large pizzas came 10inch cost £24 for 2 medium pizzas and 2 cheesy chips the amount of food I could of got with that else where the portions were small food was ok but didn’t even fill us

My go to pizza shop in Durham without a doubt, especially after a night out! Also the only one I ever order from on just eat because it’s guaranteed to be spot on with prompt delivery, also open til late. The pizzas are always beautiful, especially the morning after!, and so is everything else (burgers, wraps etc). The staff are very friendly and kind, especially the main server who always says hello with a big smile on his face, even when the place is full of drunks, they have the patience of saints! Definitely recommend👍🏽🍕🍔.

Food was 10 minutes early and so hot I couldn’t eat it at first had to wait but that just means it’s fresh and just cooked. We have ordered in the past at peak time Saturday night and still on time and hot. This is a great place to order from would highly recommend

Food more then an hour late.. Received at half past 1 when everyones asleep.. Just going by the time they had given. Im not even 2 miles from this place.. They need to manage their deliveries and fulfill the time they very well provide through Just Eat!!! Called twice but the guy on the phone treated it as a regular occurrence.. No apologies but he did say quote "on it's way, NICE ONE" Spend your money elsewhere.. Loads of places around this dump!

Took my money and I got no food .I received 2 e-mail confirmations and the money was taken from my bank. I phoned the first time and I was told it was on the way ( a blatant lie I later found out ),when I phoned again I was told they had no record of my order. A really rude man just shouted at me when I asked for my money back. I then spoke to the manager who blamed the website which was their own and he gave me a phone number to call to try and get my money back . When he found out I worked at the local hospital he then offered me a free pizza to collect !! I didn’t want a free pizza I just wanted the ones I had paid for to be delivered.Apparently he told me this happens a lot , are they just hoping people don’t complain I don’t normally write reviews but this got me so annoyed

To organise a lift with tariff starting from Durham to Brandon to New Brancepeth.. a fare of over £21! With not even being able to drop off at specific address having too short of money for such a journey.. had to stop taxi at end of the town and walk as not enough cash on us to provide full journey.. (usual taxi fare £10-£13) very disappointed thinking they were trying to do us a “favour”

We orderd from hear recently and wasnt good we orderd at 9.15 told 45 mins didn't get food until 11.40pm i wouldn't have been bothered but up at 6am! The food wasnt the worst but had to microwave it as it was cold not a good experience and wont be ordering again sorry

I was hungry so I decided to there for a pizza, the food was very nice but the guy who served me was extremely rude and very arragont he was short guy I wouldn’t recommend to go there.

Just had Pizza Uno drop off food at our address when we realised the food was not for our property we tried to catch the driver but he drove off. Contacted them by phone and the guy didn’t tell us where the order belonged too and hung up. After knocking on neighbours doors to no avail, the god awful kebabs and pizzas are unfortunately going in the bin/ to the dogs. This place used to be ok but god awful now...

Ordered a vegetarian pizza after a night out only to find when I got home thst it was covered in chicken. Terrible organisation and a complete waste of money. If you have specific dietary requirements, don't go here.

Great pit stop after an afternoon out

Bought a pizza in a drunken state and was short changed by £1, I was quickly refunded by another staff member no Q’s asked. Clearly taking advantage of those in a vulnerable state but pizza was tasty. Check your change folks!

Nicely cooked pizza I order barbecue chicken with chicken tikka as an extra the barbecue sauce was way too hot witch I thought It may of been the tikka but it wasn't not everyone wants the spice a standard sauce should be considered.. My gf doesn't like spicy.. she's not happy..

Wanted some food to finish our night out, but was met with staff that just want your money, outrageously long waiting times and crap food. Ordered some wedges as well and there were about 10 wedges and some feral salad garnishing that took up most of the portion. Disgusting. Almost ruined the night

Having popped in last night after a girls night out I was so disappointed with the service! They just can’t be bothered, just want money off you and out! No customer service at all! Ordered a chicken kebab with chips and garlic, opened it when got home and was shocked at the portion size, it was a small ball of tin foil with chicken in and about 12 chips in total! Overall tasty but to pay £7 and get hardly anything was disgusting! I’m comparing this to local takeaways that we use for the same exact meal and everywhere we use the box is always packed full for around £7 Think you need to stop thinking this service is adequate just because your dealing with end of night out customers!

Was not happy under cook pizza was late and cold

A group of my friends and I went to pizza uno, we ordered 6 different items and had to wait 20 minutes for part of my order and then managed to only have half of our order - we rang about getting a kebab delivered and hung up the phone multiple time and had to wait nearly 40Minutes for the bits we got. It’s ridiculous and compensation

Absolute joke of a place. Waited 25 minutes for a pizza, they took our money, handed over the bag of food and when we got home there was only half the food we paid for. When we rang the restaurant to ask where the food was, we were told we were stupid, that we should have checked the food, and essentially to piss off. We were then hung up on, three times. Ridiculous. Never going back, they are absolute con men.

We visited this establishment at around 8.45pm and were ignored for ages before we ordered. Another customer queried where her order was, to be told she’d ‘taken the order’ instead of the tear off piece at the bottom of the order (I’m sure this wasn’t her fault!) Then a guy queried where his order was (his friend had his order long before) to be met with aggression and an appalling attitude! At this point, we decided that this establishment was not worthy of our custom due to the appalling way it had treated the other customers! We asked for our money back to only be met with aggression and a disgusting attitude from the server, stating he did not want us anyway! Really, our money spends anywhere and I would not recommend this place and would advise people to go elsewhere!

Ordered pizza from here twice now and each time the food has been great. Definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had!!! Chicken Kiev pizza is amazing.

What terrible staff...shame as pizza nice. We was having trouble deciding the order. The staff member tried to make out they was closing soon...at 11pm lol even turned lights out during the time we waiting for pizza. They even stood and watched us walk away and when they thought they was clear turned lights back on. Why be sly and rude. Hygiene also poor. The man making pizza wore one glove...using ungloved as guide when placing...fine untill he goes rubbing his nose and still proceding on to do pizza. Another staff was doing cheesy chips for some one else......had no gloves at all whilst putting his hand in the tray of cheese and spreading over chips. Such a shame the staff lrt it down as the food is nice xxx
