Pizza Tempo in Scarborough

It was terrible a worker called hake gaunt was very rude to me and swore and spoke very rudely to me he needs to be punished for his rude behaviour

Good reviews on their pizzas but we bought a large kebab last night.very little meat that was cold a small amount of lettuce and 2 pots off not sure liquid. For £8.50 you would expect better.

Me and my partner googled best pizza place in Scarborough after looking at reviews on others. This came up well on reviews so we gave it a try. Whilst waiting in their takeaway whilst our pizzas were being made and cooked we was gobsmacked on how quick and efficient the service was. The amount of pizzas that were being made and the orders being picked up was beyond belief. The answering of the phone orders was quick. The person making the pizzas, what we assumed was the owner was busy making pizzas which were hand made and omg what a superb place. Staff working together and very efficient, the owner certainly knows about customer service. The pizzas were delicious and shall certainly be returning next time we fancy a pizza in Scarborough. Keep up the good work because the service was amazing, David and Claire.

Wow! A pizza takeaway that actually makes nice pizzas... Most takeaways produce stodge these days, and somehow get away with it, but after recieving a recommendation to try this one, we did. May I recommend you try the GARLIC BREAD WITH TOMATO - it was by far the nicest garlic bread with tomato base I have ever had. EVER ANYWHERE. The owner is (possibly?) Italian, and clearly picked up his craft and a sign says he's been on the go since 1991. Trust that and his ratings and friendly manner. Will definitely be back on visit to Scarborough

The pizza was really nice but the pepperoni on it was just too spicy so hade a makeshift margarita instead

This place is a Scarborough Gem. The pizzas are always on point. Been going here for decades. I can’t offer an opinion on any other item however as I have only ever got the pizzas!

Really great pizza, bargain prices and proper sound lads who work there.

Tastiest Pizza in Scarborough bar none. Food is always ready quickly, I live a couple of streets away and a phoned in pizza order takes 10 minutes and it's always ready when I arrive to pick it up. Thumbs up.

Best pizza in town and very friendly staff. Great base and no flop on the pizza. Cheese is perfect and the garlic on it is amazing.

Amazing pizza every time. Widely regarded as the best takeaway in the Falsgrave area. Not on any of the food apps so you'll have to call and collect, but it's worth it.

Excellent pizza more Italian style than you average pizza shop good price for Scarborough. Only down side is only do 11 inch pizzas but they are good. Also they have an excellent topping protector.

Absolutely tip top. Been coming here for years. The price is fantastic and hands down beat out any spot in town. Wonderful family run spot. I prefer with garlic but good without. Just wish they’d deliver as I have to pop into town for it haha.

Spent ages looking at reviews as I don't live in Scarborough. Decided on these guys due to all the positive comments. However I would NOT recommend these guys at all. After being told on the phone to pick up in 25 mins, got there and they hadn't even cooked my order. What is the point in preordering? The pepperoni is far far too salty. The garlic bread with cheese and tomato was more like a cheese and tom pizza. And god knows what was on the ham and mushroom one, it certainly wasn't any ham I've had. The guy who cut the pizza needs retraining, got 2 massive slices and then 3 tiny slices. Defo avoid this place :(

This is without doubt the greatest takeaway in Scarborough, its so good they don't need to advertise on Just Eat, I highly recommend the Vegetarian pizza without capers, I've been going here 25 plus years easily. The staff are amazing and put care into the food and prep. Writing this is making me hungry

Impressed to see a hand stretched base as soon as I’d placed my order, so had high expectations from that point on, they didn’t disappoint either. Would highly recommend this place for a pizza, best takeaway pizza I’ve had for a very long time. Will certainly use this place again if I’m back in the area.

Used to go to Pizza Tempo many years ago before kids and went to Blockbusters also to hire a film! Had a takeaway last night - was gorgeous and very good value will definitely be back soon!

Don't understand all the good reviews for this place. My son found a hair on his pizza, which to be fair they were wearing hair net's and face shields, so probably bad luck. But the food was unbelievably salty to the point of being unedible..... Not that it got eaten once the hair was found.

Great tasting pizza with nice soft dough base complemented by a good portion of well cooked chips.

Simply the best Pizza and Burgers in Scarborough without a doubt. Nice helpful and friendly staff too. I have used it for 20+ years and not one issue. That to me is fantastic service.

Pizza Tempo has been operating in Scarborough for over 20 years, and has always (in my opinion) served the best pizza in the town. The pizzas are made fresh to order, and are always cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. The owner is always really helpful and friendly.

The best place for Pizza. My favourite is chicken with mushrooms. Always spot on. Well worth a visit if you love pizzas.

This is the best kebab shop in town and the menu is correct. The pizzas are very nice and chips crispy.

The take away menu is a lie /with stating the price is 3 pound thirty -when ordering in shop 3 pound 80, the most disgusting kebab -Terrible donner meat and no taste -very fatty and looked like left overs from the weekend

I went for a tray of donner meat and plain yoghurt at pizza tempo on new years day the staff are friendly and service is fast but the donner meat was discusting the meet was very red and tasted orible the yoghurt was watered down not very nice.. Need to home made Donner meat and proper yoghurt so no A* from me as to be an A----

Best pizzas in town for 20 years still fantastic

Fancied a kebab after a hard afternoon shopping , used this place years ago and loved it, saw it was the same bloke so decided to get a kebab as a treat. Earugh, worst kebab ever, had lots of grizsly bits and a strange taste, really peppery, yuk. Never again, had to bin it, even my son said it was disgusting and he eats anything. Went in the bin, waste of money.

Brilliant pizza every time and we've been going there for at least 10 years owner is very friendly. We come to Scarborough at weekends and for weeks holidays whenever we can and pizza tempo is top of the list for tea especially after a Friday night drive over. Can't praise the food enough.

Never fail to provide the perfect pizza. I wouldn't use anywhere else because they constantly get it spot on. Great base and generous toppings, always hot and not pricey like the big chain stores. Thanks Pizza Tempo

He estado muchas veces. pizza tempo Están muy ocupados, lo cual habla volúmenes. Las pizzas son muy sabroso, de gran calidad y siempre recién hechas. y de forma experta La corteza y la base de las pizzas son preciosas. Toda mi familia le encanta la comida de aquí, y sin duda lo recomiendo a cualquiera.
