Pizza Punks in Newcastle upon Tyne

Popped in on a Monday evening as the restaurant looked busy amd the people happy! Turned out to be a cheap date night 2 pizzas and 2 drinks for £29.50 which included the cocktail of the day. Everything was explained really clearly by Holly and James took our order and was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend having one of their delicious pizzas!!

The staff were all great my issue was the pizza, having previously back home in Leeds recently had home delivery of a create your own pizza, going for plant based pepperoni and all the veggies on top, I would say that was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, so this time visiting Newcastle I thought I’d be in for another treat eating in this time, so ordered the Vegan meatball marinara, this pizza in contrast was possibly the worst pizza I’ve ever had, only 4 halved meatballs over the whole pizza a thin coating of marinara sauce and a few shavings of Parmesan, it was basically just eating a sourdough base with a hint of tomato and barely a meatball! I wouldn’t go near it again!! My partner however loved her create your own veggie pepperoni pizza, even though it came with sweetcorn on it that she hadn’t asked for.

Five stars (if I could give more I would). First time I’ve visited in Newcastle and the atmosphere was amazing. Great music, friendly staff and the pizzas were to die for ( cheeseburger pizza and ruby murray are a must). They even do a supper bottomless brunch 8:30pm - 11pm Friday and Saturday! Good variety of drinks and staff so attentive so great value for money. Special shout out to Jessie, Ruth, Alex and James who made our evening!! Definitely will be returning. Thank you

We visited Pizza Punks on a busy Friday evening without a reservation, but the staff were accommodating and found us a table. The mocktails were delicious and visually appealing, and our pizza arrived quickly. However, once we finished our drinks, the empty glasses weren't cleared, and no one offered us more, even though we would have liked to order another round. The staff seemed quite busy, so we didn’t want to disturb them. One concern was that some staff members had long hair worn down, which I found off-putting as it could easily get into the food. When it came time to pay, the bill included a 10% service charge. Although the waitress offered to remove it, we felt a bit pressured and decided to leave it on. Overall, the food and drinks were good, but the service could use some improvement.

We had an amazing time at Pizza Punks in Newcastle! The service was top-notch, with special shoutouts to Alex and Chris—Chris made delicious pizzas that everyone loved And Alex who’s got amazing Custer service skills with a smile. The entire PP team on 25th August were fantastic, making sure our large group was well taken care of. Pre-ordering through the booking system was a smart move and definitely a great bonus for our big group. The experience was smooth, and the food was absolutely fantastic, tasty and so fresh. We can't wait to come back!

Me and my partner came for bottomless brunch and James, Alex and Ruth were some of the friendliest staff we have ever had. They couldn’t do enough for us, we had so many good cocktails and the service was 10/10. We will definitely be coming back again some time.

Went in at lunchtime, very quiet with only two other tables occupied however it took an extraordinary long time to be served the food as the staff prioritised the online orders ahead of actual restaurant customers.

Great evening here for a date night! We had the Cheeseburger and Pepperoni pizzas which were both great and cooked beautifully. We also had a side of the Buffalo Wings which were enormous - we loved the Garlic Ranch sauce. MINOR faults were a forgotten beer - we had to ask for it - and no napkins on the tables! Other than that, a great experience and would happily recommend. Staff were great.

Fantastic experience - 5 of us had bottomless brunch and no one disappointed. This place was amazing value for money. The pizzas were delicious and served very quickly. Drinks also brilliant and a massive thank you to the waiters and waitresses for keeping our drinks filled and being so friendly. Will definitely return soon and recommend

Went with a friend for pizza and a beer in December. Really liked the chilled and relaxed atmosphere. Food was tasty - we ordered the make your own unlimited pizza which arrived quickly. There was a muddle with a garlic bread order which despite asking for, we did not receive and was on our bill. We also found that the bill had charged for extra toppings as opposed to the unlimited pizza which was requested. We spoke to a staff member who rectified the bill quickly for us. These things happen and there are bigger problems in the world let's be honest. Would deffo return.

Arrived at 9.20pm and told they would only do takeaway. When I mentioned they were open till 10pm they said yes but they needed time to ‘sort themselves out’ - very rude and dismissive

I was reassured the food would be gluten free and clear of cross contamination but I have had a very bad reaction since and I am pretty unwell. Staff shouldn't be reassuring people with coeliac disease if it is not true!

I visited solo for lunch in October 2023 and had the pepperoni pizza, which also comes with nduja which I liked. The service was spot on and the prices are great. I'll have to visit again, whether it's here or another one of their stores, to try building my own pizza and being a little more adventurous with the toppings next time!

Amazing pizza with an extremely diverse menu; there really is something for everyone!! Kiera made the evening one to remember and really looked after us.

Lovely meal, friendly staff, great service. We came after a visit to town for some christmas shopping. There’s lovely lots of pizza options freshly cooked to order in the pizza oven and you can design your own 12 inch pizza with unlimited toppings for about the same price. We will definitely be back.
