Great place, good prices and great old school arcades. The price of the drinks is also fair. Sadly Sega Rally arcade was not working last time but hope it is the next time around. Will be back

Had my engagement party here and it was amazing, everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the venue and how unique it was. Brynn was really helpful and answered any questions and ensured everything ran smoothly. The lady who ran our bar all night was so really nice. The pizza were delicious and cocktails 10/10. Thank You 😊

Great selection of arcade and console games. Great craft beers also. A negative is that you have to go to the bar every time you want to change a console game. My friend went to do this at one point and was pressured to buy a drink despite us buying drinks beforehand. Given we were already paying customers and the only ones in the venue at the time, I found this pretty unreasonable. Hopefully just a misunderstanding. Very enjoyable overall.

Some nice games and the console booths are a nice touch (which are a little prone to failure, but adds to the nostalgia). The place absolutely reeked of sewage (felt bad for the staff) EDIT: this has been rectified.

Fun place, loads of old school arcade machines to choose from. Cocktails were lovely and they gave me a bunch of pokemon cards too. Agreat place

Tried walking up to the bar to get some drinks. Bartender pointed to a long single file queue stretching up the room and told me to join the end of it. Its a bar, not a post office, why are the staff making people queue?

A very nice little venue in Newcastle and I look forward to seeing it develop. It's cheaper than its rival NQ64.

Grand wee place. Fast food, the games, atmosphere and selection of drinks make this a must stop for any retro gamer.

Shannon E is the best bartender in the building her Cocktail the Riley Reid is worth 10 stars alone. Shaun is amazing at making their pizzas I don't think there is one he can't make

Really good gaming bar, some games and consoles free for customers. Really nice cocktails and reasonably priced

Console controllers are broken (MegaDrive) and don't register inputs. A large area of the bar was booked out for a private event blocking access to several arcade machines. The maintenance of machines is lacking and blocking access to arcade cabs I came specifically for is extremely frustrating. I'm really not sure what audience they're trying to cater for here.

Went here on two occasions on my birthday trip to Newcastle. First evening we went was amazing! Lovely service from the lady and lad behind the bar. Very friendly and always up for a talk. Their cocktails are affordable (we didn’t try any so can’t give any recommendations but I’m sure staff are happy to do this for you! Lots of arcades to play. A good place with friends or any family members who enjoy a blast from the past. :) perfect for a night out with ur partner too thank u for this experience !

If you want to have fun but with not much people around this is your place, cherry on the cake are the locally brewed beers!

Only ended up here as everywhere else was really busy. Good selection of games, a few are free to play too which was a lovely addition. Drinks are expensive, 4 beers cost us just over £25 and a non alcohol stubby was £5. The barman that served us almost seemed angry and annoyed we were asking him questions, huffing when we paid the bill in one after he individually put a drink through. We were sat on a table where you could hear 2 songs playing over the top of each other, just have it the same throughout or speakers at least far enough away from each other? Overall it was good, nice selection of beers if you’re into that, they do food too which smelt good. Vibe was nice, a little odd you had families with kids then people getting p*ssed up on the next table but a good space with plenty of arcade choices. A very different vibe to NQ64; it’s brighter, feels a bit studenty and inoffensive, definitely more of a geeky gaming place that serves drinks, than a bar that has arcade games. It’s large inside so everything’s spaced out and not crammed too.

Had a good time when me and a couple of mates were here, lot of varied arcade machines and consoles to play on. Didn't realise how big the place is! Staff were friendly and although never ordered a pizza they did look canny good!

Went they for a friend's engagement party was in the private room and without at arm band you could only order a certain section of drinks then I order my red stripe went to pay cash he said they didn't accept cash in they thinking it was only the private room bar that was just doing it so I went downstairs order the same drink and was the same only card so I had to leave cos I only had cash on me and ruined my night i didn't have a chance to try the games or the food too so I will not be going back they intill theys a pay cash tills in they

Took a birthday trip to 4 quarters with my son and a few friends. Went early on a Sunday and had the place almost to ourselves. The games were great. All the kids loved the food. The staff were excellent. A great trip.

lovely place to come and relax and play some old school arcade games. We hired the main room at the top of the building. The only downside would be that there should be a bar server at the top bar considering we booked that room out for a private party, rather than having to constantly go downstairs for drinks!

Not that great. Staff are lovely, but the games selection is... lacking at best. 1 or 2 good ones, but the rest are very niche and not great (specifically the arcade cabinets). **update** I notice that someone from FQ replied to my review and I'd just like to say that 1. Your opinion on your games selection isn't particularly relevant, you being an employee on-shift, 2. My review was based on my opinion, so you coming back and saying you think I'm wrong is a tad insulting, as well as being just a bit ironic (as it shows that you don't much care for guest enjoyment, just how your business is perceived), and 3. I neglected to mention that I did not try the pizzas during my visit, so please look to other reviews for opinions on them (directed at potential customers, not the company (since reviews are to help inform potential customers unless specifically stated otherwise, not for the company to come back and call me wrong?)) So yes, my rating is a 2-3 star, but because of the cheeky reply by FQ, im dropping that down to a 1.

great little bar here, some awesome retro games and i liked that you didnt have to pay for all of them, having consoles set up for people to play just while drinking is a great idea!

This place is amazing! 15 of us attended on Thursday 24th August .All I can say is we all had an incredible experience. The place,the staff and the pizzas all amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff,they are very friendly and attentive and made us all feel welcome. We can't wait to return again. I wouldn't hesitate on recommending this place at all. Thanks again and we'll definitely be back!

Excellent cocktails and the venue is pretty cool in what was once upon a time Gershwin's. Wicked selection of cabinets and pretty reasonable price for a couple of hours entertainment. Hard recommend 💯

Fantastic retro games especially loved the pinball machine

What a great venue. Really liked the maze like interior with authentic arcade cabinets littered around every corner. Bar staff really knew their stuff and a great range of speciality drinks. Never had food but the pizzas coming out looked and smelled amazing.

Great arcade with a stellar selection of games. I have become addicted to Sega Rally. Dog friendly also which is a bonus!

Came here other weekend with friend and my 8yr old son. Overall a really good gaming experience for all 3 of us. Cannot fault staff for service nor the choices of beers to choose from. Only never gave 5 stars as never tried food as pizzas not our thing😊

Came here for a work social and had a nice time! Great variety of games, and our booked room had a separate bar from the main one. The atmosphere is comfortable, though slightly loud (but not unbearable) and all of the game consoles have a list of game discs to choose from so there's something for everyone! There's food and cocktails, and though I didn't try any of that today, it looked good and I'll be interested to try those next time I'm here. Staff was also lovely!

It was a good experience but unlike around the corner there were a couple of things that could have been improved. Firstly I thought it was an adult only arcade bar yet there was a man walking around with an infant on his shoulders. This was a bit of a turn off for me. Secondly the 1st game Point Blanc two player shooter only one gun worked. 2nd game Sega Rally again one of the racing booths was broken. Thirdly unlike the interchangeable console games at NQ64 you had to ask behind the bar for the consoles to be changed and there was no control holder they just seemed to be dangling to the floor which didn't look to hygienic or appealing. Then I was going to go on Guitar Hero but the guitar felt a little grubby maybe pizza grease. We ordered a Cowabunga pizza which wasn't great but okay. It would have been nice to have been given napkins or wet wipes with the pizza box as we were sitting on a sofa booth and there was nothing to wipe our hands with.

I love this place, the service is good, the drinks are good but what makes it fantastic is absolutely brilliant selection of retro games …..go waste a couple of hours you won’t regret it and you might even get the highest score on miss Pac-Man…which so didn’t happen

This was a great find on a busy Saturday night. The staff were really friendly and I feel that it's a great retreat for anyone looking for something abit different and more chilled on a Saturday night. Loved all the classic games they had and the pizza was excellent as well. I'll definitely go here again if I come back to Newcastle.

Haven’t tried the pizzas yet … BUT Choice of games is spot on! Choice of beers or cocktails is spot on !!! (Love adding my can label to the ceiling!) Staff are spot on! They’re friendly, good at cocktails AND know their stuff- games/drinks knowledge *chefs kiss* Can’t fault the place ! (A little hand sanitiser would be cool, but most people carry their own nowadays anyway…) It’s nice to have a decent-non-sticky arcade in town 😜

Not a bar you would go in every time, more like an arcade room, plenty of retro games, more for a family day out and a pint for the adults, lacking atmosphere, can't see it lasting long

It's a place worth visiting if you want to to have a fun night out with friends. There are all sort of arcade games and selection of craft beers is excellent. Loved trying different, unique and creative cocktails. Staff is all friendly and helpful, service is spot on.

Wow! Not a major gamer. Well not until I visited here anyway. Invited along by friend Alistair for a few social Christmas drinks on a late mid week evening. The place was packed, I’d say mainly with experienced gaming types but also drinkers with cocktails and bottled beers flowing. The atmosphere was friendly. the place an Instagrammer’s wet dream. I played a few games but tbh didn’t feel I had to as the bar was worth the visit alone. Haven’t visited similar but on the night others suggested that it was by far the best of its type.

Absolutely class bar! The range of beers and cocktails are outstanding! The range of consoles, pinball machines and arcades is unreal. Well worth checking out!!

Fantastic selection of local craft beer, proper cocktails (none of this sugary cheap nonsense), great music - at a proper volume - and even without the games this is a great bar. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the game selection is varied! A great addition to newcastle's nightlife

friendly staff and amazing drinks, good place to meet with mates and play on the arcades. good variety of arcade games from pac-man to guitar hero. good selection of beer and cocktails and they have some amazing local craft from full circle to alpha delt. love the selection of pizza and that they are named form the ninja turtles. overall, highly recommend for drinks with mates and if you don't want to game than they have areas to chill and relax.

Popped into the new Four Quarters in Newcastle upon Tyne. What a place! If you love your gaming as much as I do, then you will definitely love this place. Loads of machines to play on with all your old favourites. Great selection of cocktails and beers on offer too! Was warmly welcomed in by the bar manager, James too, who also gave me a guided tour. What a great place for a chill or a few drinks with your pals. 10 out of 10 from me! Get yourselves down if you love your games / gaming

Popped in here opening weekend after hearing about it on instagram. It was great. It's not like the other arcade bar in Newcastle. this one is comfortable and warm with some great local beers. they even stock my favourite - Alpha Delta! Missus had a Second Life cocktail, which is a lovely version of an Espresso Martini, but they had some other amazing looking cocktails. This is definately a place for grown ups when it comes to drinks! We grabbed a pizza and played Bomberman on an old SNES. Music was great too, alternative, not too loud, and this place is a great pub even without the games. Fully recommend.
