Pizza Pronto in Liverpool

Went to Liverpool for a long weekend - the town centre seemed very Mc heavy, so I asked a policeman (always good for food advice).They recommended Pronto. I have since read negative reviews. The staff were rushed but friendly. Ordered a chicken doner and rice.The meat was good - as doner can be, you know what I mean - the salad and rice were fresh and tasty.This was a generous portion and a steal at £6.50.A bit snug for a sit down meal but a great takeaway if you ask me. And I've been to Green Lanes. Nuff said.

Ordered a “prontos calzone”, it gets delivered late only to find it is soggy, cold and the wrong order. When trying to ask why I had the wrong order I was told that it was probably “my fault”. Won’t be ordering from here again!

Ordered a mixed kebab. Only think I ate that day and past 2 days I’ve had Diarrhea. It’s got to be the takeaway I had. Ruined my Mini break.

Love this place, food is always great and good value. The delivery driver is fast, lovely, and always has a smile on his face.

Absolutely loved our meals from Pronto, hasn’t once disappointed in the years of using this restaurant. It’s recently been renovated and the menu changed slightly, the new portion sizes were absolutely HUGE for cheesy chips and the kebabs too, great value for money. Best takeaway in the city centre! We also got a free garlic bread and large bottle of coke which was a nice surprise :)

Always top tier, hot and delicious. Pizzas are always caked in topping as well which is a bonus 😋👌👌💯💯. Also thanks again to the driver for being such a sound fella 😎👍

I have tried many places and this place always comes out on top. It’s is the spot. Staff go above above and beyond and the food is delicious

Pronto Pizza is one of my favourite restaurant in Liverpool and the food quality and customer service are always great. The delivery driver Mohammad is always so polite and friendly and this is one reason why this restaurant is the best in Liverpool. Thank you :)

No shawarma so he asked if I wanted tandoori chicken instead. It was rubbery and the rice was bland. Donnar wrap was great though.

Really nice food. Nice and hot and the pizza toppings were generous. Only downside was that I ordered cheesy chips but just got regular chips instead. Not a dealbreaker though as the rest was great. As far as customer service goes, firstly the driver kept calling me by my name which was a nice personal touch. I’ve been staying in Liverpool for work in hotels and this is the first time a driver has actually come to reception rather than me going outside. Lastly, delivery was 10 mins earlier than expected. Overall, great job Pronto Pizza. Next trip to Liverpool I get, I’ll be ordering again. :)

Genuinely don't know where to start other than if I could no stars I would!! Usually no problems at all however this evening was nothing short of abysmal. Made a huge order for the kids and their friends... Ordered at around 4pm and delivery doesn't start til after 5pm.. Not a problem. Door delivered at 18:30. No probs with the delivery guy, he's actually lovely (should possibly think of moving jobs!) food stone cold... As in colder than a relationship with your in laws. Okay... Nothing the microwave won't sort out, not ideal like BUT needs must with a herd of starving kids. First order, chilli sauce lashed all over a meal, in fact three out of six meals had sauces on which were specifically requested not to have on due to allergies and not liking. Right... Again thinking on our feet here figured ah there's pizza... Yeah not too bad if you fancy rock solid cheese on what can only be described as a cement base. Great. Things wernt much brighter with the chips or onion rings...my dogs food looks much more appetising. Only highlight? Erm... None other than we managed to get a full refund but that wasn't before a delightful over ten minutes convo with the shop... Seriously the customer service was truly outstanding guys (sarcasm) So after a few great meals orders prior to this evening its an adios from us and a huge STEER CLEAR to prospective customers.

Food is delicious and always on time or early. One of the few places that actually finds my student accommodation with out any hassle.

Food arrived on time , was all cold chicken burger (chicken) was all black and looked inedible this was for my sister in law who is present !! phoned the restaurant and they said the food was cold because it was cold out side! they have since collected the order as they said it would be another hour for delivery of new food and we requested a refund ! No joy with just eat nor the restaurant for a refund but they still got there food back ! go elsewhere and don’t waste your money or time

Not usually one for leaving reviews, but do no be deceived by the good ratings on here, they’re totally unjustified. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and the Pronto Special Kebab, which came nearly half an hour late. On top of the late delivery, the food was nothing short of abysmal - the Chicken Shawarma Wrap seemed as though it had been made from the bits of chicken that were meant to be thrown away, just full of gristle and practically inedible, meanwhile the Pronto Special Kebab had nothing special about it - dry chicken, some dry peppery piece of mysterious meat and undercooked chips on a very cold (what I think was meant to be) naan bread. The best thing about the whole meal was the can of coke, which I think says it all. Would definitely avoid this place, don’t be deceived by the reviews, there’s much better places in Liverpool for much cheaper that are much nicer!

Honest to goodness one if not THE best takeaway we've ever eaten. Pizza was cooked to perfection, the kebab was hands down the best I've ever had (and I've had a few!) garlic bread was cripy tasty and not too overwhelming taste wise... Could go but urge others to try for yourself!! We will be ordering again... I'll book my gym membership stat!! Thanks guys

Wouldn’t order from here again was told food would be here for 8.15 it turned up I called up at 8.25 to see where it was to be told he had already left and it was on the way it took him another 20 minutes every bit of food was cold only good thing in this order was the cans of coke least they couldn’t get that wrong

Ordered a donner kebab, don't know what the meat was, all that was on it was lettuce & mayo! Onions rings soggy and tasteless, I ordered sweat potatoes fries, a soggy lump of I don't know what!!!

I made the mistake of putting down the wrong address and after i called the restaurant I got a call from the driver who was very understanding and still drove to us. The dough is out of this world and I just tastes really frickin good :)

On holiday and ordered from our hotel room and it came 5 minutes earlier and the service was friendly.

Update said food was running 20 mins late. 40 minutes after delivery time food arrived. Already ordered at 1150pm with an estimated hour delivery time. By 130am did not really feel like eating already. Felt like I wasted my money. Not even a sorry from the delivery man.

I went purely over the reviews says it’s was 5* with over 4000 reviews. I have never had a take away sovad in my life. The worst pizza, not cooked and soggy, flopped when you picked a slice up. The chips was undercooked. Never ordering again.

Loved the pizza..was given free garlic bread too. But wrongly given a 330 ml pepsi instead of 1.5 L

Ordered a pizza deal which was supposed to come with 2 portions of chips, which they didn't bring. Ordered an extra portion of sweet potato fries which were just about edible, some were warm some were cold. Pizza was the only decent thing

Food came 40 minutes late and was stone cold. Driver was going away from my house for about 20 minutes. Chicken was cold and dry and tasted like it was off. Worst place to order from. Rang the restaurant over 100 times and kept going to voice mail

Arrived 15 mins late but I wasn’t too bothered as it was a busy Friday night, food good not 100% warm, good value for money had the donor kebab and it came with chips and a bottled drink. Will be ordering from here again.

This is definitely the best takeaway in Liverpool! The pizza was hot, fresh and doughy and still mega soft cold, the crust was even delicious which had a delicate salty taste, which was amazing! The kebab which my fiance had, was meaty and delicious. The cheese burger was the best and had no faults at all! Even the garlic which we dont normally eat got eaten this time! Delivery was a little bit early and a friendly driver, so 10/10 would highly recommend

This place is just fantastic. I ordered from here after hearing good things about it and it most certainly did not dissapoint. The food was at my door within 15 minutes of ordering, the food was hot and the quality of the food was delicious. The delivery driver was very polite and friendly, and it was cheap. What more could you want? Brilliant. Highly reccomend.

Delivery and service was fine. The food on the other hand, mainly the chicken as it had hardly any meat on the bone was, barely warm and tasted bland. Really disappointed with the delivery as the food is usually great when bought directly from the restaurant.
