Just tasty hot quality pizza Pleasant surroundings great staff. Reasonably priced. What more do you need or want? Simply great pizza at a good price. Chili oil it very good and hot.

We were staying at the nearby Premier Inn so came here for supper. Staff were super friendly and helped us to a clean and bright booth. Lots of options for the kids on the menu and they gave us some colour pens and some quiz sheets. It’s pretty much all pizzas so don’t come here if you want pasta! But great portions and the food tasted fresh and authentic. We had a nice bottle of wine too. Downstairs they have a whole load of games for the kids to play. Pin ball and such. A lovely touch.

Nice enough restaurant but you got the feeling that they want you out quickly: had just put my knife and fork down literally and the waitress rushed over to see if we had finish; Also we ordered a starter to share which came up at the same time as our Pizza; A starter means “before your main course not with it” - we think this is restaurant mainly geared to tourist and not locals, working on the assumption that you’re not going back;

One hour wait from ordering food to getting pizzas! All because you prioritise delivery. There are dozens of delivery drivers coming in and out of the restaurant all the time. At one point at around 8.30, no one in the restaurant was eating as the food had all gone out the door, and we were all waiting and getting more and more hangry! Such a shame as good pizza.

Very poor service. We went there & waited 15min at front, no one came despite there being 2 staff on the floor and they were chatting instead, then I went inside and spoke to a staff member and he told us to wait so we did, but still no one came to seat us. I spoke to a different staff member but still we were ignored, so we left the restaurant. We believe they ignored us because we're Muslim and Asian, or because they have extremely poor service. DON'T GO THERE!!!!

A good pizza spoiled by the continuous comings and goings of Ubereats, Just Eat and other delivery people in helmets and dripping wet clothes pushing by (and bashing into you.)

Friendly, speedy service, very tasty and freshly-cooked pizzas and a free crust dip too! A very bright & cheerful place to be on what was a pretty grim afternoon at Canary Wharf.

Gluten free pizza is the most authentic and delicious I have ever had. Ever. GF not through choice, I avoid Pizza establishments on a regular basis. This has changed my mind completely. Very attentive staff. Relaxed and busy at the same time. Good atmosphere and enjoyable evening. Pizza dough was incredible and the toppings fresh and delicious. Recommend highly and will return.

I went yesterday, Friday 5th October, to the West India Quays branch to enjoy a nice Gluten Free pizza with my friend. Sadly,the evening did not go as planned. We set down at 7pm, pizzas arrived at approx 8pm. Whilst my friend's pizza was good, my GF was super dry, tomato almost N/A, so the super nice supervisor took it away and asked the kitchen to make another one. Got the second pizza at 8:30 only to get an uncooked pizza with cold tomato sauce on top. Asked to have it done again as it was not edible. Got the 3rd GF pizza at 9:20 and this one was undercooked as well, but after over 2 hrs wait, I was famished and decided to eat it anyway (had of course stomach pain after eating it and also this morning). You can tell the staff was doing as much as possible to offer some sort of service, but in this case it is the management's fault who decided to not have enough staff on the floor on a Friday night. There was one waiter covering the outside, one inside manning the door, cleaning the tables and taking orders and payment, another on the floor to help and another one taking the pizzas to the tables. There was also a special event downstairs that required a person at the bar, and you'd see waiters having to take food downstairs as well. Apparently in the kitchen there were 3ppl, but 2 were on training. And you can tell, cause usually the Gluten Free pizza is good, whilst the 3 attempt to make it have been a huge a disaster. The issue here is that in order to save a couple of hundred ££ u have upset many clients and put the staff on site under a lot of stress. This will make me think not twice, but hundred times before deciding to pay another visit to this branch!

We waited over an hour for our pizza, they put 2 wrong pizzas infront of us first - seemed completely un organised. Before we got the pizza had to go and ask for the bill and ask for them in boxes as we had to get back to work, no apology was given - luckily the pizza was nice at the end of it,

Been in London for almost 4 years now, visited a lot of places, especially ones who serves Pizza, am a big fun of this food. Recently became Muslim, and as place for celebration of this huge meaningful event for me, decided to have my experience at Pizza Pilgrims. Have been two times there, and will write more detailed review as it feels that should to do so. Restaurant itself has delicious food, has decent menu assortment, and tasty variety of drinks. First impression you get is that it feels like a good place to hang out, and enjoy a night out or just to go with friends. Tho, what can definitely be said, is that location needs a bit of redecoration or change of style, as the location is full of confusion. The theme of the place is mixed up, mostly the main idea is incomprehensible, the wallpapers have pizza, there is lots of Super Mario toys, on the way to basement saying Ladies, first what comes to the mind that is toilet for ladies, where actually the way leads you to Arcade gaming room, on the way you can find adverts of movies, just like really near toilet. If you do not ask, or do not go yourself you can never find out that there is bar downstairs and arcade gaming room. The place is big but the arrangement of the tables, bar and reception is quite not logical, redesign is needed ASAP. The place is really specious, with right arrangement and change of wallpapers as well as theme maybe, or just making separate zones (for family time, for party, birthdays, for just chilling, and changing or setting right songs will boost up the reputation and demand of location . The arrangement of the tables, me as designer, as mentioned makes you feel too uncomfortable. Once you are inside it makes you feel that there is no privacy at all, tables are too close not leaving any space for privacy, even they can be arranged in a way that could keep the number of spaces, but give you comfort and privacy. It takes just few things to relocate and to change in order to get a totally different experience and warm kind memories from visiting Pilgrims. .... .... Anyway, despite of the flaws that restaurant can and should work on, in order to increase profitability, the real saving boat of the place and reason you should visit it is in its staff. Workers there are really friendly, kind and helpful. The welcoming warm attitude and joy feelings you can see from the time you open the door, and see beautiful faces with charming cute smiles, who welcome you with their nice voices set you to the table. Once you saw their great, cheerful attitude, respect and willingness to bring you satisfaction from the visit, you cannot forget such kind people. As for example Jeziel from Colombia, very kind and full of life person, or Romy and Luca, who just make your day by just talking to you. Still the main reason that made me to write this review is the person that changed my life, saved me from the deepest moments of sadness and desperation. Her smile, her vibe and energy turned my world. That is the girl with one of most beautiful name I heard, Federica, the girl with amazing cute smile, the most beautiful beautiful accent. Eat only Halal food now, so was surprised to see they have a Halal option, the cook cleaned or used special pans to make my Pizza, was given really grate service, he even double-checked that I am satisfied with taste and assured of using separate or cleaned pans before making my Pizza, it took longer a bit, but Alhamdulillah, taste was amazing . Tho there is not much of choices regarding halal food. When was there for the first time, really was in a deep emotional situation, so came with my friend to talk about life, Federica nicely took my order, and guess, the moment I saw her, I fell for that girl, had an instant crush with her personality, her smile, her beautiful hair, accent, way of communication and cutest deep as ocean eyes that charmed me. An made me think that I met an Angel. Hope she will not see the review and will not find out who wrote it :) . Anyway, I left with my heart stolen by her, (my body left the place full of satisfaction but my heart was left there with Federica) and was thinking about her for over a month or two, being doubtful and maybe afraid to go see her again (as what can I say, hi remember me? I love you D)) . Anyway one day, this week, decided to make the move and go see her again, taking my friend as cover, (tried not to let her understand that I came to see her). It was a real disappointment finding that it was not her shift, so just received a very warm service from other staff. And when thought that my dreams and faith in love from first site are an illusion of a man who just watch too many romantic movies (:D)), saw a face that made my heart beat like 1000 times in a second, not in the bad way, quite opposite, the moment when you feel (as girls say) over the moon of happiness. Tried to pretend that I don't know her, as she changed a bit her hairstyle and she was going home from the shift, changed in her normal clothings, and looked like a random customer. So I just started staring at her, secretly hoping that our eyes will meet, which actually happened. Honestly first impression I got is that she is creeping, as was literally staring at her :D)). She reacted very nicely tho, approached and said hi, of course she did not remembered my name, but I got extremely happy finding out that she remember me, remember our conversation and that I eat Halal. Guess my charm on our first meeting had an effect (despite that was down at that time), she remembered me, gave me another cute smile, asked about how I feel, an tho she was going home (as every employee dreaming to go faster from job) she took her time and gave me another unforgettable conversation. Told myself that I will marry that girl, tho do not know if she is single or not, and did not had the guts to ask her out or at least her number. That is why waiting to go there again and maybe will come up with another details of the real love story, which happened here in East London, at Pizza Pilgrims. Hope she will not see this review, and never find out of the way she made me feel, as if she is already with someone will not bare the though that my believe of love is just a dream. Despite of this, really advice you guys, to visit this place in West India Quay, next to the docks, where you can have a nice walk and get a piece of really tasty pizza, delivered by one of the best crew in East London, tho do not fall in Love with Federica, she is taken by my heart :D

As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were instantly met with a smile and seated very quickly. The staff were very pleasant and the customer service was excellent and so was the food. The food it’s self was well prepared and we could see a staff member checking each dish that went out, which filled me and my family with confidence. So would I come again? Most definitely.

Very tasty pizza, I got the 8 cheese which was very good and very filling normally pizzas don't fill me up but this one did. My partner has a margarita with a njuda dip which she enjoyed a lot. Emma served us and the service was great

I booked in advance for a small group of colleagues to go out to lunch. The wait time was so long that I didn’t get to eat at all before I had to head to a meeting (had allowed more than an hour) so took my pizza away in a box and had to eat it at my desk. This is the second time I’ve had this experience at the Canary Wharf pizza pilgrims, so obviously not a one off. They don’t advise of the long waiting times when you book or when you order and this is completely different to most of the other restaurants in the area who can easily deal with work groups coming in. Deliveroo orders seem to be prioritised as there are constantly boxes coming out of the kitchens and being given to riders. They obviously don’t have the capacity to serve sit in customers too. Appalling service, no apologies or acknowledgment from the staff, I won’t make the mistake of booking here again. The pizza is quite good but compared to the waiting time at the nearby Franco Manca, not worth it.

This place is very poorly managed. Somehow they forgot my order, despite me ordering digitally, thereby theoretically removing the possibility of human error. They still added service charge, of course. Very average pizza.
