Undercooked fries, and verry verry poor hygiene!!!

Order from Pizza palace at your own peril. Ordered 2 boxes of large pizza from pizza palace Wolverhampton since 18:00 and yet to take delivery now at 20:18 Slept & woke up & bored the app was still spinning &waiting to confirm order from restaurant. I called and the guy who picked want very courteous as we could not hear each other very well besides his English was poor. He dropped the line & i called back. He said their machine wasn't working hence they didn't get the order. He took my number & promised to call back. I got a call shortly after & was told the pizza will get to me in the next half an hr. I called back an hr after that to say that am yet to take the delivery & besides am no longer interested as the children have started going to bed. They couldn't even guide me to cancel but dropped the phone on me again. I got another call @ 20:01 telling me the pizza will be delivered shortly and I demanded to know the time & I was told 10mins told. This is already 20:26& the pizza is not yet here. The pizza was meant to be a surprise to spice up the evening for the children unfortunately the pizza is not here & kids have gone to sleep. Pls refund my money as am no longer interested even if your pizza is the best in the whole world

This place is a joke. Staff are rude got my order wrong and when I complained the man just laughed and said something to the other worker in their native language

Wish I'd have read the reviews before ordering. Placed an order for bogof pizzas and fries on a Friday lunchtime. Took 20 minutes for the order to be confirmed online, and when I called to query, I was simply told it may or may not go through. It did go through eventually, but I had to wait a further hour for delivery. I again rang to query where the order was and was told it was on its way. Still another 15 mins before it arrived. When it did arrive the driver was friendly. The pizzas however were poor. Lukewarm and tasted no better than a supermarket frozen one. Double pepperoni had hardly any pepperoni on it. Won't order from here again and I'd advise others to go elsewhere....4seasons on Raynor Road is much much nicer.

Terrible. Spent £50 on pizzas that had hardly any topping. The one in the pic was supposed for be an Asian Special. It had nothing but Jalapeños and Onions on it. The owners response…’i had to get a driver out to do the delivery’! So you offer a delivery service and then get wound up that you have to actually carry out the delivery. Ridiculous. Sent another Meat Feast pizza as a good will gesture. Again, hardly any toppings on it. Would not recommend and will not be using again.

As I full peri peri chicken but delivery person said that 2 pieces are missing so he replaced that piece with chicken wings and box is already open

Run down shop (see photos) , ripped seats , dirty walls , floor tiles damaged, and a great big wooden carbuncle right in the front of the shop that resembles a stage ...... what the hell is this ? The odd stage looking thing is made from chipboard and thus shouldn't really be in a food area , as it is not really hygenic to clean. The electrical socket above an ice cream freezer is filthy, and the wallpaper is peeling off on one wall. How this place has passed a food hygiene inspection by the council , I never know. Now for the service.........which was atrociously slow and it wasn't really busy. Now the food , it was edible .....and so far , I haven't had any bad stomach problems , so fingers crossed. The food was sparse too , I had medium kebab meat and chips , which cost £5 but there was hardly anything there. Got asked for salad with the meat , only to find that there weren't any tomatoes (who doesn't have tomatoes in their salad for heaven's sake). The menu on the wall is split up and needs laying out better , as the list of pizzas are divided at different ends and should be all together like other pizza establishments , so you can see the full choice. Won't be using this place again , as it's dirty , service is poor , food is mediocre and portion size is too small, and the shop needs gutting and starting again before someone is ill from the dirty surroundings. Wolves council need to visit this place and check their hygiene standards.

Ordered 8 spicy wings which had a photo of crispy wings and ended up sending bbq wings which were pretty flavourless. Ordered two burger meals and the burger was okay but tasted like it had been out a while. Chips were undercooked. Okay delivery time about 20 mins which was good. Ordered a cheesecake which was a store brought cheesecake which was literally snapped in half and I was charged 3.99 for it when from the shop it’s about 3.00. Not the best :/

Wrong order was delivered as last order ordered 2 10” pizzas 1 garlic bread 1 pepperoni ended up with a hawian and a meatfeast both with thin base called 100 times no answer total joke

The pizza didn’t taste of anything the chips tasted like they had been out and they had been slapped in the microwave

The pizza was delicious with perfect portions and reasonable prices however it did take a while to make but overall it was great

Ordered first and last time The delivery took way longer as it should, food was cold and large kebab was the size of child's portion kebab ,literally there were 10 pieces of fries in a tray

I always order pizza on weekends. Pizza is cheap and great in taste as compare to costly pizza places. We just love vegetarian pizza from Pizza place and cheese garlic bread

I order two time pizza from this shop but evertime the pizza gaya delivered wrong order to me and I pay for one pizza 14 pound and 3 pound for delivery I order chicken pizza you guys can see where is the chicken 😂

Instead of making the ordered pizza they make accordingly their own choice totally spoiled and for the second time I ordered a pizza by visiting there while collecting they are asking which toping you want we will make it within 10 minutes after waisting half an hour really bad service

food was cold cause driver was late, man on phone was rude when i rang for an update. jalepenos and mushrooms which we paid extra for was missing from pizzas, stuffed crust has a weird taste to it. chips super soggy, milkshake had started to melt. poor food wont be ordering again!!!

Order 2 XL pizza take £3 delivery changes for 1min drive and when i say £3 for 0.2mi guy said collect it when i come to collect and take 40 mins to make order and they saying at phone 15 mins

Wrong pizzas been made...when I reach there they setup fight and when police arrived shop owner turn the Camara off claiming camera not working. Poor atmosphere, very poor food preparation. Not washing hands and eating food while preparing food... disgusting

The wrong item delivered refused to resend the item until the next time i ordered. Wouldn't mind, but it was one of the meals this is now the second time wont be ordering again customer service shocking

i ordered a chicken burger meal with mayo and salad and it came with no mayo and no salad

Food was 2 hours late. When it did arrive our pizzas were burnt and hard as if they’d been sat there for a while.

By far the best pizza I've had in a while. Did arrive 20 minutes late but I have that trouble with delivery drivers finding my address. Delivery driver couldn't apologize enough! Will definitely order again.

I come here because there is nothing else in the area. Fortunately, I don't eat pizza. When they promise the client and take the money. They don't wash their hands. Then they put the ingredients on the pizza with these dirty hands. Drama!

I am sorry. This time food was very bad and very cold. I ordered deep pan and you made it so thin it was very hard and like cardboard. The drink was very hot and fries were very dry and hard. Sorry but not good this time. I hope its better next time.

Not the best pizza. Dry, not much meat and overdone . Certainly no stringy cheese when you pull out a slice. Wouldn't order again. Sorry

the only problem was there was next to no cheese on the fries, the fries werent as good quality as they have been in the past and the container of the fries had a small hole in as If it had melted in a microwave? Other than that the rest of the food was brilliant as always

Pizza were cold when delivered, Contacted the store to complain as we have ordered from them many times before and it has always been piping hot and very tasty. Todays pizza were stone cold and when I phoned the store to try and get it rectified I was told that “ the pizza was made fresh for me and it was hot when it left the restaurant”. I’m sure it was hot when it left the store but it wasn’t when it was delivered. Have ordered from here many times before as it has always been great pizza at a reasonable price. Will NEVER order again mainly because of the stores dismissive attitude and their unwillingness to acknowledge that there was a problem on this occasion.

The lasagne was lovely, but disappointed that it didn’t come with the garlic bread as stated on the menu.

Chips could have done with a bit longer in the fryer. Ordered Chocolate cake and got strawberry cheesecake, ordered 0.5L bottle diet coke and only got 0.33L can. Hawaiian burger was lovely though!

Oh dear!! First and definately last time using this takeaway. 1. Ordered plain fries - they came covered in melted cheese. 2. Ordered cheese salad. Said it comes with lettuce, tomato, onion and cucumber - came with NO tomato, cucumber or onion. Did come with olives, pineapple and green pickles. 3. Ordered salty caramel ice cream - got cookie dough ice cream. 4. Did NOT receive the 1.5lt bottle of Pepsi. I took photos for proof. Phoned them and they said could get proper fries next time I order from them. I will NOT be ordering from them again!!

Sent the wrong ice cream, ordered ben and jerrys chocolate fudge brownie but sent caramel chew chew which I do not like

Food arrived 10 minutes earlier than the earliest estimated time. Food was tasty, hot and worth the money. I can see what others have said about pizza being burnt... garlic bread was slightly charred on the ends but I actually liked it better this way. No items was missing and everything was correct in the order. Will order again and recommend.

Orderwd rhe food around 4pm should of been there by 25 to latest food turned up at 18.10 after the resturant telling us at 15.38 that it was on its way and it takes 5 mins very poorly quality 2 very upset children who didnt get it eat it who had to go home at 6pm hungry food was stone cold

Unfortunately, the food was tasteless. Cheesy chips were just chips and the pizza was overcooked and cold. Quite disappointed given we chose this place on reviews.

I am happy with my food, the delivery was on time , the driver was helpful, the food was warm and tasty, definitely had value for money.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! For your health. Went into the restaurant at roughly 12:30 on 2nd February 2023. The man was in the back using the mop. Fair enough. But he didn't wash his hands at all. Who knows what mess he was cleaning up. Even after handling the money I gave him he still didn't wash his hands. He then proceeded to make my pizza having handled AT THE VERY LEAST a dirty mop and both paper and coin money, without washing his hands....and with bare hands. As I was sitting there I was reading some of the other negative reviews and decided it was best to just leave. I was so angry I totally forgot to get my money back. So this restaurant has gained £5.50 from me for absolutely nothing. Despicable.

If you know what best Thin crust pizza should look n taste like then this is the place for you. Were going back to Manchester from Exter n wanted pizza n glad we went there. Best customer service, best food n hospitality. Don't take my words, just go n try it. You won't be disappointed...
