Pizza Palace in Cardiff

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, just paid £25 for my order on their website and no food has come. Phoned up the place and the man on the phone was very rude, refused to give refund or send a replacement. Sort yourself out.

Ordered a mix donner all salads and garlic Sauce XL for £13 it was dry not much meat a leaf of Lettuce a sprinkle of sauce unfortunately I will be not ordering from This place again

Ordered an extra large kebab, took over an hour and 45 mins to turn up. Over 40 mins late but that was fine. As well as the kebab ordered garlic sauce which didn’t arrive with the order hence it was dry. Rang and by now it was cold told the sauce will be with me in 10 mins. Rang half hour later on the phone to them the sauce arrived, oh in the smallest container they do it never even covered a quarter of the kebab. Not a happy customer as spent over £24 and service wasn’t up to standard.

OK, so I'm not sure who has now taken over Pizza Palace, but you're not doing a very good job!! I've been a regular customer for years. I placed an order last night for nearly £30, money taken, order confirmed, nothing turned up, nobody answered the phone. Then you closed. Voicemail and several calls today, and I'm still waiting for a response from the so called manager, who isn't in tonight, and the staff on site have forwarded him my order information and are still awaiting a response from him as to whether I can receive my food tonight or get a refund!!! What an absolute joke! Listen mate, if you are in charge and don't delegate responsibilities for your staff to make decisions in your absence, then you are seriously in the wrong position. If you paid for a £30 tshirt and didn't receive it, and was told by the seller, oh sorry, I'm keeping your money, and I can't send you what you have paid for until possibly tomorrow when my manager finally responds with further instruction, i am positove you wouldnt be happy would you???. It has been confirmed you know about last night's mess up, and you have still done NOTHING, except clog up your phone line, and created unnecessary phone calls from me to your staff members. Keep the food, I want my money back in cash and will be there to collect tomorrow evening. Have it ready please!!!! Perhaps that's something you're actually capable of doing, because you certainly can't fulfill a food order and delivery!

Just ordered for delivery took 2 hours for food delivery- pizza cold , chips cooked over 3 times like cardboard and cold not happy it’s not the 1st this has happened never going to order again very bad rang the take away they said be 10min hour later had delivery this was before waiting a hour

massive let down, delivery times are awful, i live 1.2 mile away but last 2 times a had to way at least 2h each time, food quality went down significantly also.. never again 😒

Possibly the worst food ive ever ordered 40 mins late triple dipped chips 😭 - follow up everyone feels sick (next morning) absolute filth place needs shutting

Food is nice, but when ordering for me and someone we both wanted pots of sauce and I think £2.55 for a small pot of chilli Sauce is a bit expensive considering if we wanted it on the kebab instead there would be no extra charge? But when asking about that previously that’s not been an option. Food nice but bit disappointed with the price of just the sauce really.

We ordered through uber eats as the delivery said 10-30 minutes and we needed something quickly. The food took two hours to arrive, despite speaking to the restaurant twice and being assured it would be within half an hour, then 15 minutes. When it finally arrived, it was dried up and not very tasty. Within 10 minutes of my husband eating the burger, he was sick and is still continuing to vomit an hour later. Safe to say we will not be ordering from here again.

Paid almost £40 for 4 kebabs and a childs meal on just eat. The kebabs didnt even have a shred of lettuce, just plain meat and pitta with a small squirt of garlic sauce. There was no option given to choose salad or sauce so i left a note for them to be sure that all 4 kebabs were to have salad and garlic sauce. I have tried to call the takeaway but they are either leaving it ring or hang it up without answering. This might be an issue with just eat but for almost £40 I expect a bit of salad to break up the kebab. Apart from this issue the food tastes fairly good.

Ordered 2 mixed kebab meal deals. There was nothing mixed about it only contained doner meat. Salad was swimming in water and chips were hard and cold.

Terrible takeaway this evening! I ordered at 7.30pm because it said delivery would be between 7.40pm and 8pm. I hadnt received my order at ipm and it then updated to say between 8.05 & 8.25pm. It still hadnt arrived by 20.35 so i called them and was told not even started my order in the kitchen. I was told food would be with me in 30mins though. 9.25pm and still not received my food so i called again and told order leaving now. I live 5 minutes drive away but received my order 9.55pm..30minutes later! And my order was 2 hours late! So unhappy with being so late - ruined my evening and unhappy fobbed off when i called them. In addition to all this, i didnt receive chicken i ordered, no sauce or coleslaw with the kebab either - so was very bland and not even luke warm when it did arrive. Very disappointed with Pizza Palace this evening and would not recommend to others!

Had 2 kebabs from here tonight ... probably the worst kebabs IV ever had ...stone cold on arrival and totally tasteless...chips also stone cold and barely cooked....never again.... awful total waste of money... fuming

We have had a few takeaways from Pizza Palace, always been lovely. Had Pizza, Fried chicken & chips tonight, ordered online it said earliest delivery 45 mins, it arrived in 30 mins, it was lovely 😋 we enjoyed everything. We definitely recommend them 👍

I ordered a mixed doner and chicken kebab with sallad, they dropped it off without the sallad. I phoned them up and they where going to deliver the sallad in half an hour I said no point my kebab will be cold then?? I’m disgusted with the arrogance of the staff I spoke to on the phone he was rude and I’m appalled by his response!! I had a taste And the mixed kebab without the salad is something I don’t like eating. Never order from this place!!! and to the staff you need to go on a course in Customer relations... I bought food that I never got to eat as I ordered it with the sallad...but they were very happy to keep the money Im disgusted!! I will never order from them again and I will tell everyone about your appalling response!! - After 40 min They phoned me and apologised and offered me a free kebab next time, so I’m very very thankful for that as I was very upset. Thank you pizza palace now I will upgrade from one star to 4 X

Ordered the new mega box to share between 3 people and there's about half left over, it was immense! Delicious and delivered quickly.

I had selection box and beef and chicken burger.... It arrived after one hour... waiting time reasonable but the food was nasty... chicken was dried under hot lights for God knows how long... so I was trying to complain and they put me on hold... wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.... Very but very disappointed... definitely won't be buying from that place EVER again

Small kebab box with kebab meat and about 4 pieces of lamb was £8 Odd and 2 small 10 inch pizza the total of nearly £30 just for this 😳😳 ripped right off and it tasted rank too phoned to ask but just appologised lol never again!!

Bought a kebab with a side of coleslaw . Cost nearly £17.00.; When I called this place to complain about the coleslaw and told the manager that white cabbage and mayo is not coleslaw . I was told that's how they do there colslaw . So pizza palace has changed a recipe that's over 100 years old . Carrots onions white cabbage and mayo . Avoid this place there food is shocking !

Food was brilliant boiling the only reason I’ve put it as 3 stars is because I ordered off just eat and 2 meals came to £12.50 so I phoned pizza palace saying could you make sure the driver has £10 change as I’ve only got a £20 pound note and the women was brilliant about it so the just eat driver gets to my house she past me the food and I gave her £22.50 and she walked off with out giving me my £10 change so I phoned the place and the same women answered and she said okay I’ll ring her now to bring back your change that was at 23:20 eventually I got my change but if it wasn’t for the driver it would of been 5 stars.. deffo recommend pizza palace tho

I called up and the lady at the end of the phone told me I couldn’t rent a Pizza. After this, what I only can presume was the manager came on and was extremely rude and patronising. For this reason I wouldn’t give this place any higher than 1 star.

Absolute joke.....ordered a mixed grill and recieved about 8 pieces of meat....complained and nothing was done about it.....I am going to write as many bad reviews as I can....what a RIP off

Food was half hour late good came cold the pizza was like cheese on toast chips was smimming in grease, discusing if im illnor my child be war its discusting should be shut down.

I'm updating my review. I won't be eating here again under the current ownership. The manager is brilliant, and runs the business well, but the recent change in ownership had taken the business down a slippery slope. Just let the manager manage, step back, and enjoy the profits! I'd never had a bad meal from pizza palace in all the time it's been trading - that was until the last few months where corners seem to be getting cut. Square pizza? What's that about! Swapping conventional meats for halal equivalents without telling anyone.. that was interesting telling my Sikh mate that I'd been feeding him beef for a month! Then they get to the general attitude! On top of this, the customer service has gone down hill so much is not somewhere i'll go back. Previous review: There's a lot of kebab options in Cardiff that dabble in pizza.. not many of them marinate their own kebab chunks and make their bases from scratch. Pizza palace is my favourite in Cardiff

Without a doubt, the best takeaway pizza for miles.

All I can say is OMG!! This place is god sent. Their burger meals, they're chips, are incredible!! My first ever time ordering with them I was gobsmacked. Didn't expect it to be as good as it was. Ever since my first order I have known stopped ordering. Always the first place I think of, highly recommend !!!!

I was told about this place the other day and thought I'd give it a go. Quick delivery, decent portion sizes unlike the other local robbing dogs and presentation was spot on. I would certainly recommend and will definitely return if they keep up these good standards. All in all... very pleased and would certainly recommend 😀
