Great pizza at a good price. Pizzas were bigger than we expected. Staff was very friendly.

Manager is very very rude. I am wondering how he becomes the manager of this such a nice shop. The food is tasty no Complaints.

I’m delivery driver . to pick up order from here. The manager has to learn how to behave with delivery riders . I went to pick up an order. He told me five minutes. I was totally okay with that and waited outside. then I saw the pizza is ready and the other Staff was telling to the manager here is the pizza for him . And the manager told keep in oven I will give him. Intentionally, he made me wait another five minutes for my order. I don’t know why he did this .. and I asked him why you didn’t give me for the first time . Maybe you don’t like delivery riders. He should know that we are delivering your food to your valuable customers. And they are waiting for your food. For the proof you can check CCTV and the other Staff worked tdy with the manager who try to give me the pizza when it was ready many thanks ! (7:30-8pm)

We were passing through and stopped by chance. The owner welcomed us with typical Neapolitan friendliness and friendliness. We took pizza and Montanarine. As a pizza lover and traveler, I can say that it is truly exceptional. It even beats my favorite Neapolitan place (in Italy). What to say. If you want to eat an exceptional pizza you can find it here. We then had the tiramisu and it was fabulous. I will definitely go back

The pizzas were delish! Full of flavour. The cocktails were on the strong side but that’s the way we like it. And the service was second to none. Great spot if you are craving a pizza night.

I waited for my pizza for 1h30 and when I nicely asked the owner about it he said “look how busy we are” but we got to the restaurant before it got busy. I argued and he said “when it comes it comes then turned his back to me. Super rude, definitely not coming back.

👌🏼👌🏼 Tasty pizzas and friendly staff! The restaurant is clean, and the service is excellent. We came as a group of four and ordered pizzas and starters, and everything was perfect. If you're in the area and craving some indulgent Italian food, this place is worth considering. The dishes are rich and a bit oily, but they're absolutely delicious. 👍🏼

Food was amazing but what let the experience down was it took 15 minutes for our drinks order to be taken (the restaurant was quiet) & when the drinks came, one was missing from the order. We were not offered the opportunity to order any further drinks & the waiting staff were somewhat absent throughout the time we were there. No complaints on the food, it was delicious!

Really bad service! The uber drivers steal the food but claim it's been delivered. Avoid at all costs. I'm sure the food was nice but never got to try it. I tried ringing the restaurant but they hung up on me, they blamed uber but maybe take control of yr restaurant and not blame others! Very bad customer service

I've been here twice because the gluten free pizza is amazing, but the first time I haven't noticed that they charge £5 extra for a gluten free base. I was shocked when I saw the bill. They use Caputo flour, the same I buy for myself and I pay £5.69 for 1kg, and I can make up to 8 pizzas, they charge £5 for one! Others don't charge more than £1.5

i went on 03/05/2024 at the restaurant and ordered two a margherita with buffolo mozarella and pepperoni one for me and my partner. My margherita was burnt. I asked for a replacement and the 200kg guy which i believe is the boss shouted at me that it is not burnt. The pepperoni one was very dry and tasted like plastic. The fat guy who is the boss should rethink about having this restaurant and scamming all the believing customers. A big no for this place. Avoid at all costs. Also the toilet was dirty with something looking like processed food. horrible.

Excellent authentic pizza, burrata was great, service spot on… Gus a stand out but all the staff brilliant. Will be adding this to the regular London pizza list

What a very, very bad experience. The food very expensive for what it is ( Salsiccia & Friarelli £15.95). The waiter was rude, the chef was rude and spoke harsh words as well as the fat guy which I think he is the owner. He was sweating and wearing jeans in the kitchen. The pizza was rubbery and tasteless, and the rest of the food was not cooked well and there was no care. Moreover, there was a mouse running, we left immediately. I do not recommend it we never go back again.

One of the best places to eat pizza in London. I had the "Prosciutto E Funghi" and it was amazing. I totally recommend the place and I definitely visit again.

My grown kids had enjoyed the meter pizza with 4 pizza varieties many times and brought me for a birthday celebration. The manager said they haven’t done this for years so we literally showed him photos of previous visits. The last couple of times they claimed they were out of dough😩 The manager spent a longer amount of time refusing to give us four variations than it would have taken the kitchen to deliver, it’s not difficult. Four pizzas ‘connected’ versus four pizzas separate. Their hands still have to do the same movements. Anyway, it ruined our evening as the two we chose were boring and the one had lame bitter broccoli bits on it. We won’t be back as there are plenty of good pizza places in town:-( The waiter was lovely, he needs to work somewhere that looks after customers.

The service is quick and polite, everyone is super smiley and attentive. The food is amazing! We took 2 appetizers: garlic pizza with anchovies and burrata and with pesto and burrata. Both very good and a massive portion! Then we had a burrata and mortadella pizza and one aubergine parmigiana. We noticed that the mortadella was slices a fee seconds before being put on the pizza which tells a lot about the quality of the ingredients they want to provide! Such a nice touch that adds load of flavour and freshness to the pizza. We ended our meal with a delicious tiramisù with really reminded me my mum's one. Simply to die for! So, 10/10 and will definitely come back!

5 stars is not enough to describe such a great place. We have had the opportunity to been there twice with friends and it never disappoints. The quality of the products they use on the pizzas, the apperol is amazing it tastes alcohol fresh and nice and the atmosphere combine with the unparalleled customer service makes the place a unique experience. Way far much better than so many pizza places in London. Love it guys keep it up!

A good pizza - but personally found it a bit too oily, and some of my sausage wasn't wholly cooked which put me off a bit. 241 cocktails were a good deal - but tasted pre mixed. Other pizza toppings felt fresh and we're plentiful, and the staff were really great - would go back (but maybe stick to a veggie pizza!)

Diego will be a good pizzeria chef, his pizza will be delicious, he will also have a nice place, but in life I would a thousand times prefer to deal with human and kind beings rather than be ferocious with the staff in front of the customers without mercy, so many obscenities just to feel important. I am a customer and the shameful scenes with the staff happened in front of me and my family...SHAME!!!

It is one of the most perfect restaurants in the neighborhood. The service was very friendly as well as the taste. We could get some advice on traveling to Italy. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant in Clapham you must visit it!

This is one of the oldest pizza restaurants in London. They are the first of having brought the idea of serving the "pizza a metro", that means you buy the pizza in meter (which is not a classic rounded pizza). The restaurant usually serves very good pizza, and it is taste and worth the price. However, the pizza this time was served a bit cold. This is why I am rating only 3 stars.

Amazing pizza and service. Top 5 pizzas I’ve ever had for sure. I can’t remember which one I ordered, but it was delicious (see pic). My girlfriend ordered a gluten free pizza (make sure you call ahead so they have the dough), which is the most amazing dough blend, where the crust puffs nicely like a non-gluten free pizza. This was our local, and we miss it dearly.

Pizzas were great, but the sign outside the restaurant advertised "2 for 1 cocktails during happy hour". All cocktails are £12, but in small print on the menu it states "2 for 1 cocktails charged at £15". Very misleading and incorrect advertising. When we raised this to the owner, he just shrugged his shoulders and said "oh yes". It was obviously not the first time he was told and he did not care one bit.

Very warm welcome and friendly environment , good for a family or friend gatherings. The Pizza Dough was very light to digest and the ingredients were very good. The waitress was really friendly and was doing her best taking all the orders out. The man at the till was also very friendly making sure everyone was happy and well served. Definitely if you are around the area visit the place.

I definitely was expecting more … the pizza was looking good but I could eat only half and I was lucky being there for lunch as I spent the rest of the day being thirsty. Also very expensive.

First time at Pizza Metro Pizza and we had the best time.Party of 4,we shared 3 starters,had 4 pizzas and a tiramisu and we really took advantage of the 2 for 1 happy hour from 12 to 7.All the drinks and food exceeded our expectations and the staff was just very friendly and helpful.I Definitely recommend it and we will be back very soon.

We dined at Pizza Metro Pizza for the first time yesterday and what a first time it was! Staff were super lovely and definitely made our visit memorable. I dare to say that they make the best Neapolitan pizza I had in London with such a light and fluffy dough and very authentic flavours. 2 for 1 cocktails were amazing and we definitely made the most out of this offer. Can’t wait to return (hopefully very soon) - thank you guys!

Extraordinary, there's simply no other way to describe it! The dough is light, the pizza perfectly cooked, fresh ingredients and friendly and welcoming staff. I definitely recommend this place!

I came to get pizza with a friend and the food tasted good BUT was very surprised of the price of the Gluten free base!!!!!! £5 for a gluten free base is insane ! No other places charge that much for it, even though i understand that ingredients are eventually more expensive. Cherry on the cake, I was also charged 0.50p for the take away box !!!! This never happened to me before. Also very surprised it has not been mentioned to me at any point ?! You should definitely review the price of thr gluten free base, i love the food but wouldn't come back because of that.

Pizza is AMAZING! Better than a lot of the pizza I had in Italy. Most staff are Italian and they are super lovely and it's great to see they take pride in their food! However, i would say that the salad is overpriced for what it is.

Great pizza place. Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had! Great dough, lovely toppings. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The large glasses of prosecco are great too!! Fun decor and a great bustly atmosphere. Only downsides - cosmopolitan wasn't great and served in a water glass (bought with 241 deal, would've sent back otherwise!) And no proper gelato.

This is very nice abd authentic Italian restaurant. I loved the service with its genuinely friendly staff. Expect to pay around 25 GBP / person if choosing the 2-4-1 pizza deal but you will likely have an extra pizza to take home.

I’d been to Pizza Metro Pizza to dine in three times before and was really impressed with the food, so much so I’ve drove there to collect pizza (they don’t deliver to my area) twice - and twice I felt cheated. The first time I noticed they’d replaced the cooked ham for cheap squares of highly processed ham. Even though I was annoyed, I assumed they’d run out of the good quality one. So tonight I decided to collect pizza again - I always order Capricciosa - and was left fuming. It seems the rubbish ham is their new thing and they’ve decided to not put artichokes either (despite being part of the ingredients stated on their menu). Dough is alright albeit has got on the more chewy side lately, overall taste is fine but quality has decreased and there are better options for same price range. Sadly, will not be returning.

What a beautiful surprise!!! I the heart of Northcote there is this excellent pizza restaurant! The dough was very light and well cooked and all the toppings were incredibly tasty! Especially the aubergine. Everything was delicious! The service was great and the place is well maintained.

I haven't been here for 20 years, as I moved back to Italy two decades ago: but the pizza is still excellent, the service great and the atmosphere really "Italian"! Well done guys!

Been there on a Saturday early evening. The waiters seemed to be more occupied with filling up the fridge of the bar with drinks than with their customers. The pizza took about 35 minutes to arrive although there were very few other guests. I had to ask for some pepper (in most pizzerias they always offer this). Pizza was good but lacked salt. We did not have dessert but ordered espresso. It came in drinks glasses with spoons so big that one could hardly stir the sugar in. Goodness me, that was the daftest espresso I had in my life! Who had the idea of serving it like this? It was just weird.

Proper neapolitan pizza in Clapham. Me and partner went for an authentic italian pizza and that's exactly what we found. We tried the Parmigiana Burrata and the Prosciutto & Funghi. The Parmigiana was perfectly cooked, with tomato sauce, mozzarella, fried in olive oil aubergine and a burratta on top. This pizza is heavenly. The only thing I would add is more aubergine to it, as it only had a couple of pieces... Still, full of flavour and the sauce was just amazing. The prosciutto one was a bit more standard, but the ham is properly italian and you can tell. Has a very rich favlour with the tomato sauce and the mushrooms. They also offer you this great spicy oil on the side which is very nice. Service was great too, very kind and welcoming. The place was empty when we got there so even better for us. We paid 34£ for two pizzas.

Pizza Metro Pizza is one of my favourite pizza places in the whole area. It has outstanding service and a brilliant staff team. The food here has a thin (yet flavourful) base, and a delicious thick crust. With your pizza, you can also buy a crust dip sauce, the best of which I think is the garlic butter (not the garlic mayo). The chip side dish was served very hot and was amazing; it went brilliantly with the garlic mayo and butter, but sadly isn't available anymore; nevertheless, I still feel that the restaurant gets better every time I go there! Love it the most out of all the local restaurants.

This is a very special place for me and my now fiancée who met during COVID. It was our first date and we loved it at the time. I asked Diego if he would let me hire it out to host a surprise proposal. I had no idea if the food would be as good as I remembered and if it would be possible. Diego was fantastic he invited me over to discuss how we wanted to set up the restaurant and choose the menu and he then lit the restaurant up by candlelight. The food was outstanding, all the guests couldn't get over the food especially the Italian meatballs! The staff were incredible, so thoughtful and couldn't do enough! It was even better than I remembered. They haven't let their standards slip at all. I can't thank Diego and the team enough for creating one of the most special nights of our lives, making incredible food and taking care of all the guests while creating a family feel. Must visit!

Please go back to the previous menu, with calzone napoletano with ricotta and gorgonzola and 4 cheeses. Now I saw pizza with caramelized onions!! This was my review some time ago "Fantastic pizza napoletana, one of the best in London. I have been here many times, last time a couple of weeks ago, I had a calzone (called "ripieno"). Really delicious, with ham and ricotta. Top!! I highly recommend."
