Food is late and women was rude to my husband on the phone and put the phone down

have recieved a pizza from PROPER PIZZA KEBAB. 33 commercial street, Camborne, TR148jx and I have multiple problems firstly I asked for the pizza to be well done which to be fair was well done the main issue is the pizza has been sat in a car not in a hot food bag for so long that it is stone cold but the fact the 2 people who delivered were smoking cannabis in the car is utterly disgusting that I will not be touching this food I waited over an hour for. I suggest that ‘food hub’ need to be in contact with this pizza company and have a serious word before they carry on upsetting customers and causing problems. I am now writing in issue of a full refund and honestly compensation before food hygiene standards get a call which is what I believe food hub should be doing anyway. I will never order food from “proper pizza kebab” ever again and I am utterly disgusted, if I could give a review they would not even achieve 1 star. Poor quality of food and disgusting customer service. Picture of price attached which I am honestly expecting back in full as a bare minimum.

If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would. Staff was really nice and food was great. Service was quick and easy. I only ordered some large chips today (I did go the other day). They were a bit expensive (3.50 for chips, pound extra for large chips) but they tasted really good. People there were really nice and respectful. This place is underrated and deserves more people to go to it. 100/10.

Ordered a regular meat & chips the meat was absolutely vile, stone cold, and very pale! Will not be ordering again

Service was good, food delivered quicker than estimated time. Standard of food not great, ingredients missing from ordee, limp salad and smaller portions for price compared to other takeaways.

Food was okay, nothing special… just what you’d expect for the price. Delivery guy forgot our chips and went straight back to takeaway to get them with no issue. Food was delivered hot and on time, and cooked well. Not burnt or undercooked.

Ordered a chicken shish and salad this evening. Was fantastic. Really delicious, probably one of best shish. Chicken was succulent and the salad combo really refreshing. Will be back.

Fantastic burger and chips from here.the best I've had in a long time,had chicken strips too they are really nice,coating not too spicey and proper chicken too,chips are brilliant. Everything delivered hot and on time.very happy customer.will definitely recommend.

Ordered a kebab for tea from here. It was a bit on the expensive side just looking at the menu. But once I got the food you could tell why it was more expensive. It is because they use quality ingredients. Because of that it had the best flavour I have tasted in a long time. This is not your normal kebab shop, this is top quality food.

Always use these guys. Never ever had a bad meal. His Kofte are best in Camborne. And his homemade Naan is nice aswell. He is very generous with portions and kind & friendly. Always welcomes us with a smile. I would recommend 24/7 without hesitation. Especially kofte combo ( MINT IS NEEDED MY FRIEND) lol lol

Been coming here for a year now, better than all other kebab shops in Camborne. The pizza is amazing and so are the wraps.

I try ordering from this place but charging younger small Donna kebab 15 pounds 🤣

Avoid. Waited 2 hours for delivery and was told 45 minutes. When it eventually arrived the pizza was burnt, chips and chicken cold, dry and flavourless. When I spoke to the owner he initially denied it. Eventually refunding the money but telling me I'm not welcome back. The food matches the owners attitude, terrible, save your money.

Raw chicken in kebabs, small portion sizes, delivery 20 minutes late after already waiting 45 minutes. Now got food poisoning. Do not recommend at all. Absolutely disgusting

We usually order a lot from here but never again, first order arrived quite late food was cold, chips was rock hard and the chicken burger was missing, said they would send one straight away it came over an over later and was unedible, chewy overcooked it was vile!! Won’t ever order again they’ve lost good loyal customers we will also tell all our family and friends not to either as it’s nasty

Do not order from here, I had it delivering on just eat, put in for a refund as order was wrong, ordered again tonight and order was cancelled, rang them and he told me he cancelled my order because they did it wrong but I put in a claim against them, avoid at all costs put the phone down on me

Don't waste your time ordering here, placed a big order and waited until uber eats expected delivery time then rang and they told us they couldn't be bothered to make the order. Kept on going back on their word talking about how they tried to deliver to my location and then changing their mind that they never tried delivering it (we have dogs that would of barked if they heard people plus multiple people going outside regularly). Also claimed they rang me but absolutely did not. the other reviews of the terrible food plus terrible customer service should be enough to put you off of ordering from here.

they were friendly enough giggling and joking always nice to see unfrotunatly my partner has had really bad food poisoning since having food from there last friday. been to the doctors twice 100% food poisoning lost a weeks worth of wages because of this also noticed the staff was not using PPE such as gloves wile handaling the food.

Best food in Camborne! Pizzas are tasty and fresh 😋 Fried chicken has a lovely flavour and very juicy. Anyone looking for good quality food I really recommend Pizza King Kebab!

Ordered fried chicken, potato wedges and coleslaw. Chicken was all bone no meat and very overcooked. In fact it was inedible not sure which parts of the chicken I had well it was deep fried chicken bones. The wedges were good but a kids portion and the coleslaw tasted like it had sugar in it. Vial food. The delivery driver seemed nice as did the person I spoke to on the phone that's the only good thing.

Absolutely disgusting customer service , ordered food for 2 adults and 4 kids 7pm, 8:30pm I call them to see how long my order will be because kids were hungry , only to be told over the phone by very rude worker that they have cancelled my order I have never experienced anything like this,, that is no way to run a business , stay away from here unless I guess you actually go in shop to get food

Best kebab shop in Cornwall first time I had was after a quite a few cocktails and I can’t say it enough… definitely recommend this place funny guys and very welcoming will Definitely be coming again.

While working away we didn’t fancy the usual McDonald’s and noticed this was open. Ordered our food the staff really friendly and food excellent. We ordered not long before closing and everything was fresh. I had a chicken Shish and lamb wrap was the nicest I’ve had in a long time. My friend had a chicken burger on recommendation from the owner and again this was excellent. We work all over the country on different shifts and this was by far the nicest food we’ve had in a long long time. Will definitely go again when we are in the area. And will keep an eye out if they open their next shop in st Ives. From two travelling Yorkshire lads!!

It was half an hour late. There wasn't much tomato on the base or a lot of topping - like one piece on each slice! The base was nice and the chips were really good.

Wonderful as always! We had a bit of an issue with a uber eats promotion taking hard earned money for themselves and not given to the actual business. (Don't use the promotion! It's awful to businesses). Food was piping hot (almost burnt my tongue!) Lovely portions and always adds a few extras for us! The owner is amazing as he helps with the deliveries to! 10/10! SO MUCH VARIETY I almost don't know what to chose!

Went into shop it was empty stood there for ten minutes no one came so I left

To the lovely driver of a nv200 who delivers there , please don't block in cars by parking up there bumpers to the point they can't move!!!! , Note to company find a driver who isnt rude aswell by making remarks saying 2 spaces when we was parking in the associated spot to 😂

Only complaint I have is that it took an hour and they forgot my drink but I ordered on Boxing Day so I didn't expect anything else. Chips were the best chips I have had from a takeaway, were still hot and all the food was definitely freshly made, tasted absolutely amazing. Amazing service, very impressed and will definitely be getting food from here in the future, great price and quality food.

SHOCKING - DO NOT ORDER Ordered £70 worth of Pizzas, delivery driver incompetent despite us sending a specific location via WhatsApp. Driver incredibly rude and aggressive towards us and now refusing to answer the phone despite taking payment. AVOID!

First time I've ordered from this establishment. Made the order via Deliveroo. Ok, so the wait time was around 45 minutes. Tbh, I thought that was stretching it out a bit. But who knows, they could have been very busy? When the food did arrive, I needn't have worried. The chips were piping hot and really tasty. We ordered a pepperoni pizza with the cheese stuffed crust; it was bloody gorgeous!! I also treated myself to their chocolate fudge cake. It wasn't dried out or in any way naff. From last night's experience, I'll be ordering directly from these guys in future. I would happily recommend to anyone. It was also nice to see a local gaff like this, getting it so right. Particularly as I was bloody starving, after finishing late from work. Bleddy' 'ansom!

One of the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. No grease or heavy feeling on our stomachs. Light and fluffy pizza base. The most beautiful garlic mayo - may I add the owner mention it’s made with all fresh garlic 🤤 Very friendly and polite staff. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed with these pizzas 🍕

Food is not to a standart, so poor quality, my chicken burgers was soggy and cheesburgers dry, ordered with salad and sauce and recieved with non, dry meat and bun, will never order again from there!

Went into store had ordered our food had a chat to owner friendly bloke, pizzas all fresh made , great food chicken strops are wow proper food here people , Camborne needed a good takeaway an now it's got it, 5 starts will defo use again for sure !!

25 mins late based on the just eat app rang to check the progress to be told its just cooking now! I ordered a cheeseburger with salad( I got no salad on my burger ) wife ordered a pineapple burger turned up with three small chunks of pineapple! Plus the burger bun tops and bottoms were burnt! I gave it three stars only because it turned up still hot! Won't be using again!

Poor customer service as in don't answer the phone. Paid £8.50 for a 10in pepperoni pizza that was burnt called up said they would send me another which they did and it was burnt worse than the first one. So the delivery guy took both pizzas and hasn't given me a refund and told me that's how they cook the pizzas, absolutely disgusting. And now they are ignoring my calls so I can't get a refund. Very angry customer that once I get my refund won't be using pizza king anymore 😡

Family deal was ordered and great pizza all round worth the visit and be back again
