Pizza King in Central Bedfordshire

I'll be honest, I didn't expect much, and though the service was nice and the portion size big, the quality was very very low. Nearly drove back for a refund.

Previously happy with food but this evening's offering was disappointing. Barely any chicken in 'boneless box' just filled with chips.

Absolutely ripped off, paid £16 for a very mediocre average-sized kebab. This is what I get when trying a different place.

Not worth your money. Hardly any meat or chips, won’t be ordering again, delivery driver rude.

Lamb not marinated, naan (if you could call it that) was soggy. No option to decline salad….so comes with all salad! Food practically thrown at me through the door. Overall a terrible place that will never get our custom again!

DONT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! The worst take away place ive ever encountered. unbelievably rude and condesending - they messed up my order and then refused to refund and put it right. Never in all my life have i encountered such a level of incompetence.

Got a takeaway from hear it was 62 pounds for a load of crap The pizza had a hard base no crust and was overlooked My curly fries with chese were overcooked to and had barely any cheese The only bit of food I enjoyed was the spicy chicken wings I would not recommend pizza king .

Small portion but it was good, sauce should have come on the side too

the pizza was undercooked and doughy. chips were cold and soggy. coleslaw was soggy, no crispness and the only decent item was the milkshake. Will not go there again

Just not that great taste we did not enjoy it this time but that’s not to say it’s a bad place just maybe today it’s not the best

Not bad tasting but ordered a wrap and they aren't wrapped up, just meat on top of a tortilla. Service not great, either.

Easy online ordering. Decent prices compared to other takeaways. Order was delivered within 20 mins no stress. Food spot on. Can’t complain.

Doner kebab was cold meat,dry pitta,the sauce was supposed to be mint but instead a thick stodge of what tasted like mayo.Oredered it and paid for cheese also but NO cheese was on it.The doner kebab meat was also cold with the doner meat and chips.However my son enjoyed his pizza.

So the guy who delivered from Pizza King. Just left the food on the floor and was walking off as I answered the door. Never ordering from there again.

Ordered delivery for the first time from this place and won’t ever go back. I had donner chips in pitta.. Shocking tasting food, asked for the sauces to be separate from my kebab and they weren’t (rang them and the guy was so blunt and couldn’t care less) there was about 6 chips which tasted reheated. Never again

Wow i've found my new takeaway! The prices are BRILLIANT the food...jeez its VERY good and the portion sizes are fab! Keep up the good work boys!! :-D

I have been ordering from pizzaking for a long time now and have never had the pleasure of giving them a review. Food Is always hot, tastes lovely. Delicious, fresh, crunchy chips. They always listen to my "notes". Milkshakes 10/10. Food arrives on time if anything its early & the delivery drivers are always friendly and pleasant. Absolutely disgusting. Cold dry meat with hot chips. I wouldn't feed my dog it and you expect us to eat it? You've really gone down hill, I will not order from yourselves again. AVOID.

Just got charged £14.60 for a large mixed kebab, and it arrived with 6 pieces of chicken and 4 tiny pieces of lamb. Very poor standard when paying the same amount as I would for their king or special kebabs!

I've just moved to Biggleswade and this is my first time ordering a takeaway from here. I was very impressed. I ordered a chicken tikka kebab + chips. Delivery driver was very friendly & chatty, food was piping hot (my chips were still hot after eating the whole kebab) & great value for money! Well done guys! Gets things wrong in the delivery quite often When I've been and collected I'm having to wait for a text message to pay???!?!!!!! (Weirdly don't do that anywhere else) BUT when is good the food is great 👍

It took 40 minutes longer than told then gave us a cheese pizza rather than mozzarella sticks and forgot are garlic bread never ordering again

In my experience, the food has always been hot, tasty and cooked to perfection and the staff friendly and always happy to help with any needs.

I’m gutted to write this as I never have a problem with this takeaway. But tonight I ordered on the phone to collect my order, I got asked how I was paying and I said card ( the reason I use this takeaway because I can pay by card ). When we arrived to collect I went to pay and he said cash and I replied with no I only have a card on me, to which he replied with on the phone I told you cash. This kebab shop accepts card payment and I always pay by card, I have used card in the shop and online. The man behind the counter then turned to me and said there is a cash point next door you go get cash out ( in town centre ). Bearing in mind I am 36 weeks pregnant I was not amused by how rude he was at insisting I paid by cash when I am allowed to pay by card. If you are not going to accept card payments then make that clear. Personally I would steer clear from this kebab shop after how rude they were.

Ordered dinner today, not impressed at all, I know it will take longer than usual especially in this weather but didn't expect to wait 2 and half hour for really greasy and soggy food. And when I tried to call them to find out how long I'll be still waiting , the phone was on busy line for over 45 minutes, tried it more than 30 times, felt like the landline was left of the hook purposely. Only positive thing was that my can of Tango was still fizzy but warm 😂

My partner ordered from them today. Took them 2hrs and 30mins to get the order to her. Only to have the food covered in oil, and soggy, like it was cooked an hour ago. Now I've got to go out and pick up and pay for a new dinner for her. There goes £20. Be careful using them, please

We have ordered from here regularly for the past 2 years every single time I order there is something missing the chips are amazing best chips I've ever had from a takeaway but there's always a drink missing or something missing. the donner meat isn't good not by any means but the burgers are good

Donner meat is disgusting texture is awful & taste well doesn’t even taste like meat tbh, gave it a chance & tried it twice 🤮 made me & partner feel sick. Not sure of the other food my son liked the beef burger.

Reasonably priced and decent takeaway. Would recommend and will eat from here again. Good portions too.

Had Doner and chips last night, such a shame as this place use to be really good, second time now that the chips were well over cooked to a point they were so hard you could not eat them, unfortunatley that is the second time in a row that they have been like that, and the Doner meat was dried out like it had been carved a while before putting in the Kebab. Probably try somewhere else now.

Terrible.. food cold and very rude

1. Chicken wrap? More of a chicken folded in a tortilla if can could even call it folded. 2. Cal zone looks more like a burnt omelette. And is hard enough to bent a floor 3. Chips would taste better if wasn’t refried at all. 4. Meat and chips. The meat was cold.

It's a burger /pizza /kebab place, never had a problem with any delivery. Both in-shop and delivery guys are pleasant, no problems.

Had a Calzone and cheesy chips and they were great. The Calzone was vegetarian and the sauce and flavour were great even when I ate the leftover Calzone cold. My husband had a kebab and he said it was great as well

Pizza was very stodgy, maybe not cooked enough. Garlic bread is just a garlic bread stick from a supermarket. Chips were okay but maybe they had been refried. Accepts cash only but this wasn't written on the flyer so had to go get cash out and then go back to collect my food. Will try again but not the pizza!

Low quality food. Garlic Mushrooms overcooked. Kebab was passable. Kids burgers the same. Pizza was on the edge of being undercooked. I’m not expecting gourmet but I was expecting better. Might try once more just to see if it was an off day. Was delivered quickly though.

Took 1 hour 15 minutes , sad cold looking pizza that I had to reheat along with cold donna meat . Our first time ordering and I had heard great things. What a shame.

I have ordered from this place several times during lockdown and the food has always been great, quick delivery and correct orders. I noticed all the 1 star reviews which I imagine are from the usual suspects who expect a gourmet experience for the whole family for £20 and give Domino's pizza 5* lol. Don't let their angry reviews stop you from giving the place a try.

When the driver turned up he said I forgot your coke what shall I do now, I said I do need that and he said he would go and get it. When he came back I told him I asked for garlic mayo and yet there was hot sauce under the chicken which I can't eat. He told me it's just the juice of the chicken which it wasn't. The onion rings were soggy and barely cooked and the coke when he returned had the date as 29th February 2020 so out of date which tasted funny. Driver was rude and I told him I would not be ordering again, this was the first time I had ordered. Very disappointed and paid £20 for the pleasure!

First time we ordered from here we ordered the large mixed kebab munchie box, half the different meats where missing, the other half was burnt, no salad or pita like we where told it came with and got charged £2 more than was stated. Tonight we ordered the munchie box 1. £12 for 4 tiny bits of popcorn chicken, 4 overcooked small chicken nuggets. 4 soggy onion rings, 4 burnt chicken goujons, a couple of garlic mushrooms, some refried chips and to top it off 4 microwaved chicken wings that I was disgusted to find where still partly frozen. DO NOT ORDER OR EAT FROM HERE.
