Quality thin cut old school kebab meat best in the north East by a mile travel from Sunderland for it cause don't deliver that far

Haven’t had a pizza in a while cos I’m always on a diet. But deserved a lovely hot and spicy one tonight absolutely best in the region. Delicious well done. X

My family have been using this takeaway since the 90s. The food is always delicious. It may difficult to get through sometimes on the phone but it is definitely worth the wait. Still fab but why did you change the burger buns 😭😭😭😭😭

Ordered: large bolognaise pizza and a garlic dip (£15.50) It was probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time, Definitely returning again.

Extremely rude man, I didn't even had a chance to order I just wanted to see the menu and been shout to get out because he doesn't want to serve me. Learn how to be respectful and kind to customers and people

Beware, the prices here have recently gone up SUBSTANTIALLY yet they are not advertised anywhere. I have been coming here regularly for 25 years so have a general idea of what to expect to pay. Needless to say I was completely puzzled when I was charged £32 for a pizza, kebab and a few dips. The prices on the menu are nowhere near the current prices. Scam

Beware going here - prices are from 2018 and when asked the owner admitted he puts his prices up WEEKLY, and could not understand my problem. The owner was rude and hanging up the phone. Spend your money elsewhere. £45.50 for 3 kebabs, cheese garlic bread, 4 garlic dips and a tiny portion of chips Garlic sauces £1.70 for a 2oz and he even charges more to have garlic than chilli with the kebabs.

absolutely disgusting in every way, first of all I ordered a kebab £7.80 or something on the menu, comes and takes payment and charges me £10.50, when questioned he simply said we need to update our menu since covid !!!!!!! Then the food, absolutely vile greasy meat, rock hard pitta bread a tiny portion of sour salad, chilli sauce like piss and an ok tasting garlic sauce(which i was informed was £1.70) for the smallest pot ever. Never get my business again simply for money !!

Drove from Ashington for my hubby's favourite pizza and as always he thoroughly enjoyed it 😋 well worth the drive!

Pizza Italia has been there for years, ever since I can remember. There is a reason for this, the food is always fantastic and very good value for money. There may be cheaper places around but no where near as good, you get what you pay for. This is our goto take away.

Prices are mental for bog standard food, almost £2.00 for a thimble of garlic, and it might be the oldest takeaway in washington, but it's definitely the most overrated

Not for me - food is overpriced and my pizza was average at best. Plenty of better places to eat around Washington; I really don’t get why it’s hyped so much, nothing special.

You can never get through on the phone it is always engaged and when you do get through they hang up on you. Customer service is so bad. Its ashame because the food has always been nice

Pizza's aren't any better than most pizza shops and not worth the excessive prices. Probably won't be going back, I'll stick with Hot bite.

Hands down THE best pizza place I’ve been to, I will literally only eat kebab meat from here no where else compares in the slightest. It is a bit pricy compared to other small pizza places but a lot cheaper than the likes of dominos. I won’t go anywhere else 👌🏻
