Good food plenty of it and good prices

Food is good, get some good deals priced reasonably. I recommend the deal for 1 where you can get ribs, 2 main meals and either rice or chips for £13.50. Also do different boxes. Also do a great deal on Thursday and Friday through day for £4.50 where you can get main meal with a rice or chips.

My wife and I dropped in for a quick takeaway yesterday,Chicken curry,fried rice and chips. The curry was very bland with zero heat,the chicken was overcooked too.The fried rice was fine,but the chips were very bland and dry too. Very disappointing,we will not return.

Food was nice at first can’t say it tasted terrible but with it the hour of eating it I had constant sickness all night and still feel poorly 2 days later me and my partner are ill of it

I’m stopping at guest house in roker used this place few times it’s brilliant food and service would recommend totally

You have to pay with cash. I ordered their House Special Fried Rice which came with some fortune cookies and it was amazing. The food had beef, chicken, pork slices and Prawn in it. Enjoyed every bit of it. It took about 5 -10mins to prepare the meal.

The food is very good , freshly cooked always hot .

Was too hungry to take a photo at the beginning. Munch box definitely worth the money. £10 and more than enough for 2 people.

Had Singapore house special curry from here decent portion size decent price and amazing curry full of flavour plenty of spice and decent good amount of meat etc . Found my new Chinese place to go to. absolutely recommend .

My order : stir fried udon house special and boiled rice. Nice worker at the counter. Timely food preparation. Better priced than some other places nearby. Large portion as well. The dish was quite bland and the rice was was hard, not soft or fluffy. The meat texture was very nice. The udon did give me the farts but also tasted better the following day as left overs.

Good food, chow mein to die for.

Gone here for 45 years when it was John's always nice food and large portions

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway on this side of the river despite the confusing name. The only down side is as far as I know it's cash only.

Went in for lunch and ordered chicken curry and fried rice from their specials. Chicken was disgusting and well past its expiry and the rice was still hard and barely cooked. Curry sauce was decent. Flung the whole thing away for fear of food poisoning. Definitely won't return and definitely don't recommend to anyone.

very tasty food the special fried rice was incredible. the chicken balls smaller portion than before but still very very good. enjoyed all of our food and my partners parents love this place I can see why!
