Greggs in Sunderland

Well absolutely love the staff here. Walked in yesterday and today was greeted with a smile and a good morning from Debbie who was already marking up the bag for my sandwich and also asked me was I having my usual drink. This is nice when you are remembered by staff. Would say majority of the staff are a credit to this branch of Greggs.

There's flies everywhere. Do not recommend. There's even flies in the food boxes at the front

Never received the food. No one to contact a money hasn’t been refunded!

Within the order I asked for 2 steak bakes and only received one. They cost a little more than if I was to go in the shop and by one so I'd expect it to not be forgotten.

Driver went to multiple incorrect addresses drive kept ringing to say was here and wasn’t as he was at the incorrect address 3 times and didn’t speak English to understand he wasn’t at the correct place. The app needs updating as every time I order my address is correct on here but it is diverting drivers somewhere else

The food was cold but the coffee was hot. Very dissatisfied. Delivery was originally scheduled for 8.10

I was forced to leave this store this afternoon. Absolute circus. The lad picking his finger nails put me off, Marie shouting (lady with glasses), thieves, rude staff. Worst greggs in north east!

Nasty and disgusting lady staff member did not wish me a happy birthday on my birthday!! She had service with a smile and helped me claim my free birthday cake however she did not wish me a happy birthday on my special day which us an outrage and she should be fired or given special birthday training g by greggs as this cannot be happening !!!!!! Cake was tasty though

Coffee was emptied in bag, approx 1inch worth of coffee left in cup. Hash browns like cardboard. Bacon like leather.

Didn’t get a driver for 50 mins, but driver who did accept was kinda and apologised, very sweet

Order time changed by an hour, cyclist showed up and rang me, because he either expected me to walk out to him or for me to have my door wide open in waiting for him (it is snowing and everyone is aware of the heating prices) - the app says “meet at my door”, which he did not want to do and had a vile attitude throughout the interaction. Food and coffee ice cold. Dire service.

On average 1 out of 3 orders fail. From Greggs. The drivers are either later and don’t follow address instructions/ don’t deliver at all, as before/ come with incorrect items/ items missing/ or the completely wrong order = all items missing. With all the tech available to JE etc, I don’t get why this is such an ongoing regular occurrence?

Absolutely spendid 10/10. Will always reccomend greggs to my friends family and dog sitters. Really glad of a SFC goujons. I can tell the order was picked and packed with love. I felt the little kisses fly out of the bag when I opened it up to the delightful sight and SCRUMMY smell of my SFC goujons and SF wedges. Yum.

I love Greggs. It’s always good to get the sharing deals as you save a good amount of money. I usually get the 6 Pasties and 2 Cold drinks which cost less than a tenner, separately it would cost you about 15 quid. I wish they were always delivered in the cardboard box as the box has graphics on telling you which pasty is which. I order different pasties and unless I research which pasties are which, I get confused. Greggs need to have on the packaging exactly what’s in it. I’d still recommend 💯

Probably the worst Greggs going. The staff here have no idea how to manage stock replenishment. Multiple times a day I visit to find various products are unavailable. When I enquire how long it will be until products are replenished I am often advised that they have none in the oven. I understand that products can sell out at peak times; however, there is no excuse for ovens not to be cooking products that have sold out. I also encounter this issue at off-peak times. Also, some staff are very rude.

Lovely and order spot on these people are awesome and we love em!!!

Nothing against the restaurant, but the driver had no idea where he was going even though I gave clear instructions to find my address. Couldn’t understand a word I was saying on the phone, took 15 mins on the phone to eventually get to me. Coffee was cold by the time I received the order

Delivery driver was great. Pizza had no toppings on it due to packaging so not edible everything else was good.

Missing 3 cold drinks and a chicken baguette. Apart from that food was lovely but disappointed that items were missing.

Waited nearly one hour for breakfast. Hot Drinks were no longer hot and had leaked all over bag and onto our porch when handed over. Food was cold which wasn’t surprising due to length of time to wait. Poor service overall.

Usually order from here all the time, but today for some reason instead of a ham and cheese toastie we received a ham and cheese baguette untoasted

drinks all over the place bags with drinks in soaked through, sugar sachets put in bottom of the drinks bag which had split due to how wet they were. rolls looks like thrown together

By the time my delivery got here my coffee was half empty swilled all over the bag but other than that it was okay

The tracking for the driver kept disconnecting and it took the driver 25 minutes to arrive for a drive that usually 10 mins max. Then he parked around the corner and claimed he could not find me. When i questioned why it took so long he made excuses that the road was closed off when there are about 4 other routes he could have taken and i saw on the tracking, when it was working, that he was going in other directions to my address so i think he was making other deliveries. The food was barely warm.

The mocha was awful not made correctly. Also the driver said he couldn’t come up to the flat as it’s company policy, which has been done before!!!! I didnt pay for delivery to go and get my food from downstairs i expect it delivered to my door

Greggs is Greggs, can’t go wrong, but don’t order from Just Eat. This is the second time we get f-cked over with missing items and there’s -literally ZERO- customer service. The “send feedback” link is a dead link, “contacting” customer support is an endless loop to the same FAQ page, there’s no contacts provided to neither Just Eat nor the restaurant (had to spend a fair while googling through local directories to contact Greggs and try to solve the issue) and even then there’s no actual solution other than get a partial refund and eat up the delivery fee+service costs by ordering again. The customer gets screwed over, greggs gets screwed over, Just Eat makes their dime. Baffles me that these dodging tactics are even legal at all. Never. Again.

Driver had no idea where our address was. Even after talking on the phone he struggled to find us and carried on arguing with me when he did finally get here that my postcode was wrong. Not sure if it was him or the system he has to use but my location on the just eat App map was wrong! Not had this problem before.

I understand that post COVID businesses are looking to cut costs etc, but should I ever pay £2.50 for a sandwich with two piddly sausages again, when it used to contain three or four, you not only will never again enjoy my custom but pictures of that miserable portion will be taken to the media. If that is how the staff is told to serve it, fair enough to the staff. Management need to answer for such poor value for money.

Food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty as usual - but marks down for the delivery as it was delivered by bike with the pizza box not flat but on its side in the man's backpack, as such the pizzas slid into each other during transit and when I opened the box it was a squished mess. Not good, especially when these are supposed to be shared. Would have been full marks otherwise.
