I definately do not like the ordering on your phone. Pizza Hut is no longer a fair priced meal out. Nearly £180 for a family of 5. Not good

Wow, gone so downhill. Slow beyond belief. Order everything at once but once done with pizza took 1hr for some cookie dough’s to come, staff did not care one bit. Didn’t bother to clear empty pizza places away before bring desert. More interested in delivery side which wasn’t going well by what we could see

Great choices. Just wish the vegan cheese was included in the meal deals pricing as my daughter can't help her allergies. Yet they charge extra for this. Other than that really great place and lovely food.

8 years ago : Amazing pizzas April 2025 : The food is still amazing, free salad bar is a god sent while waiting for the pizza to be cooked. My biggest issue is the male manager trying to force me to use the QR code, instead of having someone take me order. Even when we said " no, we want someone that writes our order down" he still tryed to make us use the QR code so we collared a waitress and ask her to see too us, which she did and after that everything was amazing. P.S also seen a family of 5-6 leave because they was also told they HAVE to use the QR code

Here's the review Pizza Hut just asked me to leave on Google too. I like a nice happy review normally but this was like many others review of here it seems. Oh my days! Just close this place, the company clearly doesn't care about it. Its been a while since I had such a horrendous experience in a 'restaurant' but here we are ... Pizza Hut. When we got in there were only 2 other covers so not in the slightest busy. We were shown to table quickly and told to order via the internet, not via the wait staff. They had boxes to fold and a mega pile it was! That was the only interaction with the staff here we had as when we left they were dealing with a complaint from a takeaway that had come back. We had a sharing pizza, the salad bar was nasty, floppy cucumber, soft lettuce, and I don't know know what that tomato was doing... The drinks machine mixer wasn't mixing either. It was £3.50 for a small bottle of water... and overall for 2 people for a medium pizza and 2 drinks its over £40. No way I will ever be going back to a Pizza Hut and will stick to the takeaway

I visited many Pizza Hut throughout UK, this one is the worst I have ever tried. Most of the food in the restaurant is not fresh especially the salad. Pizza Hut’s pasta is my favourite, however, the pasta from this one is disaster, it tastes weird without good seasoning

Paid 20 pounds for a pizza of my hand size 🤣 , my partner had a tiny pizza in a black tray which was so disgusting full of oil , been first and last time for us at pizza hut

Worst experience ever. Was supposed to be a special meal for our anniversary. Paid £55 for pizza to share upgraded to stuffed crust, 2 sides 2 drinks. The pizza crust was empty. Should have got refund for that, instead staff said they would have a word with the chef. Whether the chef may or may not have been spoken to does not solve the problem, was not taken seriously at all just ridiculed. 2 sides were cheesy bites and barbecue chicken wings. The cheesy bites are chopped pizza edges and only a few pieces with nothing inside, chicken wings were tiny nothing but barbecue flavoured bones. The fake concern and lack of resolution makes very poor service. My partner was upset after raising the issues. Restaurant was cold had to keep our coats on. Still hungry after. Feel totally robbed. On the positive side we were robbed by friendly enough robbers. Nearby are plenty of decent and better value restaurants on both sides and nearby Meadowhall. They are warm inside, free parking, better quality and better value food. Steer well clear of Pizza Hut anyone hoping for a decent meal!!! Previous reviews were also ignored because none of the measures put forward to improve things have been or ever will be acted upon. Just fake concern, no refund, no action.

Had a stuffed crust pizza, all crust no pizza greasy and horrible! Worst £10 I’ve ever spent! Possibly the young Chef and staff had a hangover and wasn’t producing great food as it was a Sunday! All young and a lot of back chatting going off! Stay away, disrespectful staff and under experienced in food experience and quality! No boxes do I got my pizza on a tray! Chips were ok tbh lol

Should start this by saying, a year or so ago we used to attend this particular hut REGULARLY, like at least 3x a month and we were on first name basis with all the staff. On both of our daughter’s coming home day when they were born, we went here. It used to be amazing, but obviously staff has changed and this is no longer the case. We went for a meal in the evening of 18.02.25 and got the even bigger sharer meal deal. Firstly, they didn’t have the bacon for our make your own pizza, so we substituted. Then we were told they didn’t have the BBQ rib sides. So we took another fries instead, then they gave us some BBQ ribs but they were 😮 shocking! Didn’t taste like BBQ at all. We’ve had them before and they were definitely not right. When it came to the pizzas they left a lot to be desired, not the worst we’ve ever had but were on the burnt side.. we just carried on. Then it turned to time for dessert. One was brought out to us with the other being “delayed”. 20-25 minutes later (both kids had had 2 bowls of ice cream factory in the meantime) we queried where our second dessert was and it had never been cooked anyway. So we asked for a partial refund on at least the dessert as we had to get the kids back to bed. We explained to the manager that we didn’t want to be awful, we loved them previously, but today had been below par. We were polite and so was she, props to her. She said she was sorry we hadn’t had a good experience and that she would refund our full order. 48hrs later (as she suggested it would be) We received a 47p refund. This feels like a smack in the teeth. We won’t be returning to this particular hut again.

Too expensive and the pizzas taste like iceland pizzas. Not worth it for two pizzas, two fries and two drinks for £41. No loo roll in the toilets and not the cleanest.

Went for the buffet, limited choice of pizza and they didn't make them fast enough, as there wasn't any available for the amount of customers in the restaurant. Wasn't told about the drink machine having limited options until after we'd ordered and paid. One waitress to server around 25 customers so there was a longish wait for glasses. Been to many pizza huts and this has to be the worst experience we've had.

Scary old waitress and prices of £18.45 for 9” pizza. The place is dead and doubt the food would be good, particularly, when I stood at the doorway for so long looking at the staff. 2 young kids to cook my food - no thanks!

Maybe I'm old school, but I could have done a week's worth of a Tesco top up shop for what we got. I almost felt like I was working at Pizza Hut. No menus "simply scan a QR code from the table". I wasn't even hungry but would have felt like a cheapskate if I didn't order a Pizza so ordered a pizza just so I could have a salad from the salad bar. The bowls for the salad, well I'm sure they were made for the "borrowers" as in the film The Borrowers. Yet things were either shrivelled up or empty. Will not be going again.

The QR code wasn't working properly on the table to order, however the manager at the restaurant soon came over to take our order. The food was 4/5 what you would expect at a chain restaurant. Good service

The service was rubbish, had to keep asking for things to be brought to the table they completely forgot about us, and considering they were told we have a disabled party member this is crazy. The food was ok until they brought out the desert and there was a hair in the cookie dough which was too short to be my own. Our table was also dirty which I wouldn’t normally complain about but considering all the other things I thought it necessary to mention. I also don’t write reviews unless the service is really bad.

Staff were excellent very attentive and caring and food was tasty would definitely recommend.

It’s been an age since we went to a Pizza Hut and ikea cafe was so busy during our visit today that we decided to pop in. I almost immediately regretted this decision when we walked in and spent the first 5 minutes in the restaurant being ignored. It didn’t seem overly busy. There were a number of large, reserved but empty tables but staff were stood behind the bar chatting to each other and completely ignored our arrival. I don’t expect them to drop everything but to continue what appeared to be “chit chat” while we waited with kids seemed a bit out of order. It wouldn’t have taken much to acknowledge we were waiting. There was one older member of the wait team. A lady with long brown hair, tied back and gold hoop earrings and she was a breath of fresh air. As soon as she noticed us she assured us someone would be with us shortly. While she didn’t seat us she checked in regularly and helped out when a mistake with our order meant one of our party was without a main course while everybody else ate (which she ended up dealing with because she was the only one seemingly walking around checking on people) she came back to us with regular updates on what was happening and how much longer we’d be waiting. Unfortunately even after the order was fixed the pizza was a little disappointing. We had the spicy GOAT pizza on a handcrafted base and I’m not sure if it was undercooked or just had too many “wet” toppings but the base was really sodden. We’d already sent it back once because our order note about no onions had been ignored so didn’t feel like we could send it back a second time. Especially as the rest of the table were already on with ice cream factories by the time it came back out. We did have a discount code for 2 for 1 on mains but without this it would have been a very expensive meal for a family of four. It’s got a lot more expensive since we last visited. I’m also confused as to why, when we arrived at 1445, we were told we couldn’t have the buffet. It says it finishes at 3 but fresh pizza was still being dished out on it until about 1530 so this felt a little like a made up rule. Could see refusal to accept cash as an issue for some too. Have only knocked one star off because I feel like the lady who took such good care of us saved the day for Pizza Hut. She was awesome.

I can't comment on service, really. we paid and ordered from a qr code at the table, got our own food and drinks(buffet), and then they still asked for a tip when we paid online. Food was good, atmosphere wasn't great but it was full of kids party's. Don't think I will be going back!!

First time in years visiting a pizza hut, an it will probably be years before I go again, Can't fault the staff although they seemed under trained they were doing there best so I can't fault them lovely girls... however the food, £45 for at best supermarket frozen chips and pizzas, salad bar was certainly not fresh the lettuce was brown and dry all the individual items had been mixed. And we never got the dessert we paid for. I had a quick visit to the toilet, and although they smelt lovely and clean there was no loo roll in sight.

Responsibility for the bad customer service please. I think some of you need therapy. Because. It's game. You've heard this befor.

French fries tasted like cardboard pizza was average at best and salad bar was okay. Pizza hut has gone downhill for the price £42 for 2 people.

The buffet deal was nice and the BBQ chicken pizza was great. I would go again. Definitely better than dominoes and similar places for a better price

Raw dough on loaded pigs in blankets starter, tried to tell me it was cheese, the fact I took it apart, with the solid cheese in the middle, which was yellow while and the outside was cold and white raw dough told me otherwise. The sausage, bacon and sauce was ok. It spoilt the rest of the meal

An unplanned visit after shopping on Friday. All staff super friendly and entertained my 2 year old son, Paul especially made it fun for him with the ice cream factory. Lovely lunch out, will definitely return.

Good selection of food and staff very helpful and nice. Paul was very good with the kids.

We had a fantastic time at Pizza Hut by Meadowhall. The pizzas and salad in the buffet were delicious and well stocked. Paul and all the other staff were really friendly and accommodating of our fidgety toddler!

everything is lovely here, the only things that let it down is, Drink prices and they are really slow at getting pizza out for the buffet. staff are lovely and tables are always clean and prepared to sit at.

We visited last minute as it was my autistic son’s birthday, and his favourite restaurant was closed when we arrived despite saying it was open on google. Staff were all helpful and attentive despite the restaurant being very busy during half term. A lovely server called Paul gave my son ice cream on the house for his birthday 🙂

Filthy, dirty trays food put onto with no tray cover. No change and pre made food stacked up so staff can stand chatting and no change. I've managed fast food and this was shocking. Sort it out.

I've been to loads of Pizza Huts across the UK as my Fiancé loves them. The food was great, the restaurant was clean and tidy, the staff were all friendly and polite, the only downside is the floor. I am currently using a walking stick and the tiled floor area at the entrance is very slippy for my cane, even a staff member slipped and almost went down fully, other then that it is a great value restaurant for a meal and the desserts as always are delicious

Price, food, service everything was good. Havent been in 12 years as last time I went it was very expensive and not value for money. But the buffet makes it a great option for family healthier than McDonald's

I recently dined at the Pizza Hut in Meadowhall Retail Park and had an enjoyable experience. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a casual meal. Logan and Megan really helped us end our night on the right note after a very hard day. Though we arrived quite late at night they made us feel welcome and when my naughty little one poured salt in my food they even kindly replaced it! Kind people like them definitely deserve a mention. The food we were served were hot and fresh. The salad bar wasn’t really full as it was very late at night and that’s understandable. Overall, we were fed and cared for by these two lovely souls. Fairly good pizza hut. Bit too many deep pan on the buffet and not so much spread by 1330. Salad bar full though. Pleasant atmosphere if pretty full and staff were attentive but it felt like there weren't enough of them. They were working flat out and not always managing to clean 100% as they were so pushed time wise.

Had a lovely lunch with my 2 children, was informed of all the offers and best options to get the most out of my visit. Staff on the lunchtime duty on 26/7 were great and interacted with my kids where they could. Really happy with my experience here, and the food was lovely and fresh which is always a bonus!

No card, cash only! No service as you’ve got to do on your phone so literally all they do is come throw the food at you. Go elsewhere for much better service and nicer food

Very expensive just for two pizzas. While the food was nice. I wasn't a fan of the prices.

Meadowhall: ordered nearly £20 worth of food and only 1 item was hot. Having waited 10 minutes, I assume they were cooking that item. Sadly that was grease laden. My little girl wouldn’t eat any of hers and I decided to ask for a refund. I had eaten less than half of the small personal sized pizza I had for myself. So I returned well over 75% of the meal. I asked for the manager, which caused some confusion. Not sure why. “The manager” told me she couldn’t refund me and she would give me an email to send my refund request too. She went in the back and which two other members of staff from the back could be clearly seen staring, pointing and discussing me. One mouthed something which I’m certain was about my ethnicity, but don’t want to go down that route. I told the “manager” she should tell her staff to be a little more subtle next time and left. When I attempted to email (it was an hand written email address) the email bounced back! I found the email eventually. The particular chain didn’t reply back to their own company for 3 days, to confirm I had returned items. When I said I wanted to escalate the complaint I’ve been told I can’t as I’ve accepted a refund. I haven’t they don’t have my bank details. I did, in the end mention the racial element and they have offered me a £20 voucher that can’t be used with any other offer or deal!!!! I mean really! Just disappointed and generally disgusted! And they can’t claim They don’t know that I haven’t received my refund as they asked me to supply my bank details in the same email! Astounded

Atrocious prices for what it is. Horrible quality, pizza going cold while eating. Unlimited salad? Who needs that? Chicken wings are disgusting. We were wondering why is it totally empty on a Friday night but we know exactly why... never again

One of the quieter Pizza Huts I have been to, great staff. Card only and mobile ordering. Has taken the edge off pizza hut, but the food is still the same.

Very expensive for what it is. £20 per person for a small pizza, over cooked chips, unlimited salad (which could be bought for a fraction of the cost) and unlimited watered down drinks! Not my idea of good value for money!

I just don’t think they’re bothered!! Phoned up in the week to book a table as there was six of us, told us they don’t take book ins only walk ins, got there today and they asked if we’d booked! We told them that we were told we couldn’t book, and only walk ins! We asked if we could wait, they girl wasn’t even slightly bothered and said that we could but it’d be well over an hours wait!! Just shambolic, not bothered and no customer service skills at all!! I’ll just not bother anymore!!! Cheers for nothing!!

Food good, but massively overpriced. Walked in to be told you must book on app. Waitress pleasant enough, but just came and put glasses down and then food with little interaction. No atmosphere at all. Definitely won't go back, very poor experience 😞!!

There are no separation between veg and non-vegetarian food.

It doesn't feel/taste like a fresh pizza(Dominos), instead, it's equivalent to a frozen pizza from Tesco. The cost to quantity is wrong as well. For example, you charge over £5 for some garlic spread on some pieces of bread!

We came here for the pizza buffet for my daughters birthday at lunch time. The pizza is nice but we was waiting ages for pizza to be restocked at the counter. I also think it's a little pricey for what it is.

Waited 35 minutes for a collection when told it would be 10/15 minutes after we set off we found out the pizza at cost £24 was Luke warm so had been sat on the side for 20 minutes!! The pizza itself I’d say it was more like cheese on toast as there wasn’t any tomato purée on it.

Traditionally I would have said I would not be the type to dine out at a Pizza hut, but after my first visit I looked forward to returning, staff helpful and friendly, table service or Q code for ordering. Pizza was very tasty and filling, and the salad bar is awesome, plenty of choice and free refills. Overall experience was very good.

First time I’ve eaten in at Pizza Hut in a long time and it probably won’t happen again. Like many places, orders can be placed on your phone using the QR code, so no need for the waiting staff to take your order. The salad bar is self-service as it has always been but I didn’t think it was too much for our main course to be cleared away before our dessert arrived, especially as it took almost an hour and a couple of reminders for it to actually turn up. Another sad story of a restaurant with no attempt to provide good customer service and not worthy of another visit.

사실 메도우홀이나 이케아에서 식사하려고 나는 가족과 함께 외출했습니다. 그곳에 사람들이 너무 많아서 인근의 이곳 피자헛 레스토랑을 우연히 발견했고 그곳에 가서 식사했습니다. 결론을 말씀드리면 나의 가족 모두는 행복한 시간을 가졌습니다. 나의 가족은 피자 뷔페를 주문했습니다. 맛있고 따뜻한 피자가 끊임없이 나왔고, 사이드디시도 맘껏 즐겼습니다. 나는 반드시 다시 그곳을 방문할겁니다. 그곳의 손님들은 모두 기쁜 모습이었습니다. 나도 마찬가지구요.

Again, it's another food chain so you know what you will get. Food decent enough, no complaints and the service was good. Usual pizza hut service.

Everything, I am vegi and pizza isn't a favourite for me as stodgy but I had the thin crust goats cheese with balsamic and I went back for a third piece because it was delicious. The salad bar was great and lots of choice on offer. The kids loved just to pick their own and the ice-cream too. Overall excellent value for money. As a foster carer I realise importance of family times and it was a lovely end to our pre Christmas family present swap and fun weekend before I traveled back up to Darlington. 🥳 Thank you

The food tasted very samey and it was like eating cardboard at one point. The salad bar was nice. The service was good but if you get anything other than serve your own ice cream you will be waiting a while for it. The atmosphere was loud and cold with so much noise it was hard to hear each think.

Friendly service from Natalie today, nothing was too much trouble. Food was hot and fresh. The 6 of us had buffet and a kids meal, kids meal took a while but they were busy. Natalie kindly took a photo of us all which is a great gesture.
