Awful experience. Pizza was coated in a flour (I was informed this was to stop it shrinking, but made it inedible) that was 10x the normal amount. Called to complain, but manager Robin was acting like it was our fault and that no other pizza had had an issue. The insinuation was that we were lying, despite multiple prior orders without complaint. With the amount of pizza options in Hereford, you’d be silly to trust this Pizza Hut and the management with your money. Basically theft. Never again.

I have been a pizza hut customer for many, many years and regularly visit the restaurant and get take-aways. Unfortunately, they have changed their pizza bases and the take-away I had tonight was awful. It was coated in a gritty flour, that was crunchy like chewing on sand. Imagine you dropped your pizza at the beach and picked it up and ate it. The flour covered my fingers, tongue and plate. I tried brushing it off but it was everywhere! I have had the new pizza bases before and they usually only have a little flour so it's manageable, but this was unacceptable and I had to throw it away :( We phoned the store and the manager was unhelpful and told us that is how they make the pizza and it's normal. They didn't offer any solutions to rectify the issue. You have lost a long-term customer. I will be switching to Domino's due to the terrible pizza and poor customer service.

Buffet experience poor. Only 2 pizzas available for over 30 minutes, kept asking for other pizzas that were advertised on the buffet but this took 15 minutes. We were table of 7 so not enough food on offer for us all to eat at the same time. Some pizzas advertised on buffet were never brought out. It seems we had to ask for these and only done on request but took time to cook. Service is extremely poor. I don't like using online ordering at a restaurant

Ordered, had to call to ensure it was confirmed, said they didn't have my order then they did, they then rang me to say they rang out of pan base....could I have thin base. Order came and pizza was a mess from the delivery driver!

Got told when we sat down that we would have to download an app to pay for the food as cash isn't welcome? Even though it's legal tender

If they didn't spend so long prioritising take away orders rather than guests who made the effort to come to the restaurant we wouldn't have waited nearly an hour for our food when the restaurant was about 1/3 full at most. Disappointed.

Super super slow service, cold atmosphere. Salad bar was empty- and everything that was in there was wilted and disgusting, ice cream factory was empty. Food took an hour & 20 to come out for a kids spaghetti bolognaise and a thin pizza. Awful, wouldn’t recommend. Not to mention the prices!!

Slow. Sooooooo slow. An hour wait for 2 pizzas and a kids meal (the main pizza came 10mins before my kids meal). Restaurant was near enough empty and the customers they did have were all squished up together. Barely any salad in the salad bar. Maybe concentrate on keeping the customers happy in the restaurant instead of pumping out takeaway orders. It was cold in there too. My daughter sat with her coat on. Really not impressed.

Appalling - waited 2 hours for an update and nothing. Ordered a load of pizzas for a kids party and after 2 hours they cancelled the order. Had to order from somewhere else. Never again. Oh and had to give 1 star as otherwise I couldn’t tell people how bad they were on this survey

Food should have taken 40 mins to arrive but tookm 2 hours and when it did it was cold and horrible, won't be using Pizza Hut Hereford again

We called in advance but when we got there after driving from Worcester we were told they had no pizza. Awful service. We will not be coming back. We went to Nandos instead, much more accomodating.

Our Christmas Eve tradition was ruined! For the past 14 years we’ve taken the kids to Pizza Hut on Christmas Eve.Tonight we were turned away (despite phoning ahead to say we would be there) They were apparently too busy……only 2 other families in there!! Nando’s were VERY accommodating !!!

Xmas Eve, I phoned at 3pm to check it was open as six of us planned to come at 6pm. I was assured that would be fine. We travelled 23 miles and was informed on arrival they were too busy with takeaways. I told the staff member I had phoned before coming, and she said, No, there are only drinks. She then just walked away leaving us shocked and hugely disappointed. We have ate at various Pizzahuts for many years, but never before encountered such poor behaviour, lack of customer care, and basically laziness. It will take some doing to restore my confidence in the brand.

Lazy employees, we phones to say we were arriving at 6pm and they said there was no need to book. We were turned away because they were ‘too busy’ there was only two family’s in there. Pizza Hut sucks

Long road trip broken up by grabbing a bite to eat. Food cooked well and friendly staff. The hand dryer in the men's room is awesome, fast, efficient , possibly one of the best.

I ordered my food at 14:20 which was my lunch. It first said not too long for delivery and the time kept changing. I then had to leave at 3:50 the food then arrived at 16:00 by this point I was not in so my college accepted the food. The food ended up going in the bin because I was not there and it was stone cold when I arrived. Not a good experience at all.

Food was two hours late and came here stone cold and missing the pepperoni pizza. Driver was nice and got the food to us in under 30 mins but we shouldn't have had to wait 2 hours for 3 pizzas and only get 2 pizzas that are cold to the touch.

Awful. Paid for extra cheese and had this pathetic excuse of a pizza. I don’t know why is was cut up like an absolute mess either. Manager didn't want to know and deflected blame onto us as the customer for collecting pizzas. Wasn’t happy to provide a refund. Pizzas were Luke warm and dry. Hardly any cheese but happy to take our money when we paid for extra cheese. It infuriates me that they are quick and happy to take peoples money but hand out total crap.

Small parking, high prices and ordering on website makes it feel a bit soulless.

Spot on Pizza Hut. Looks to have reverted to human service at table, which works better for me personally, but the QR codes are still on the tables (I don't know if they still work.) Our hostess / waitress / server / whatever the correct term is these days (Robbie?) was great: charming and friendly and the service was great. Sadly, I didn't get the opportunity to tell her this at the time, because she went off shift between the dessert arriving and us paying and leaving. The pizzas were great: pepperoni and nduja was excellent as was the GOAT; just make sure you do actually like goat's cheese before picking this one as there's a decent amount on there! My one suggestion: the machine for the bottomless drinks is stuffed away in a corner where it feels just a bit poorly lit. I understand why you'd keep it out of the way as it's a money pit if people keep going back and actually having bottomless drinks, but it does feel especially like someone is trying to keep the punters away. Pro tip: the car park isn't massive and some of the spaces aren't all that big so, if you have a larger vehicle, getting sorted can be ... challenging. Interestingly, there's a slight ambiguity with the middle space of the disabled bays: there's no disabled indicator on the ground so I'm not quite sure if it's actually a disabled space, or not. Anyway, none of these things take away from the fact that this is definitely one of the best Pizza Huts I've visited and would happily go back next time I'm in the area.

Bit sad really, when Pizza Hut came to Hereford, it was the only other fast food restaurant here, so it was kind of a big deal. Fast forward 20 years, you've got a selection of eateries of far higher quality, for the same or less money. Recent experience - bland packaged and processed toppings on a mostly greasy base. I remember buffet being value for money, now it's pretty much a rip off, unless you just wanna fill your face with as much food-like substance as you can muster. Even the unlimited ice cream factory, although still hot with the kids, tasted like, well.. not ice cream! Pizza hut, sorry to say but unless you seriously revise your game, your days are numbered.

Not been to a Pizza Hut for literally decades but was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. My only gripe is the self service Q code ordering but that seems to be becoming the norm these days. Staff were very pleasant

Overpriced, ridiculously large portions and in dire need of revamp, the owners need to look at other local eateries to see how bad their offering is. Relying on brand alone is no way to succeed in the long-term.

We visited on a mid week lunchtime, and for a quarter of an hour or so, we were the only people here. However, this made it good for a choice of table, and as we had the unlimited buffet, there was no queuing for food. Our server was very polite and friendly. The salad bar food was nice and fresh, and the Pizzas & Pasta was all very hot. We did enjoy our visit and will look to visit again, but not during the school holidays.

No cash accepted, order on app only. Staff seemed rude and inattentive. Prices ridiculous, calculated for the same deal, it is literally 142% cheaper to get delivered, it's like they don't want you there at all. One of the staff was cute, so there's that I suppose

The waitress was very nice, explained everything to us and ordering online was easy and fast. Pizza was lovely and I had loads of ice cream was quite quiet but sometimes it's nice not to hear everyone else talking around you.

Status was driver at the reasturant for 20 minutes, u called pizza hut who said the driver was not there as they had left to do another job and my pizza was sat there for 20 minutes, my pizza has arrived tye driver said he was told to do another job and then collect our, our pizza is stone Cold !!!!

Just been for quick bite to eat. Staff friendly and understanding to my Long covid no sense of smell and taste. My main reason for such high stars. The disabled Toilet. Im wheelchair bound and seen many many terrible layouts of unworkable rooms. But this was spot on. my biggest gripe is always no lid to toilet and the flush means leaning over the toilet and a quick fling body back not to get splash back.. Sounds funny but i can asure you its not. Ive spoken to mananger. Credit where credit is due. We are all so eager to complain. It gives me great pleasure in a positive review. Thank you

Cheeky Monday night pizza, decided to eat in, as we like the salad bowl to go with the pizza. The staff are always friendly including the duty manager. Liked the recyclable menu

Fancied a pizza so with the restaurant only just down the road I looked on line to see which one we fancied the price was £16.98 but when I got to the restaurant it was £33 it was cheaper to have it delivered than been eco to pick it up our self's

Came here with a friend for the unlimited buffet and safe to say, we got our money's worth with a combined 30 slices of pizza plus ice-cream between the 2 of us. All the pizza was hot, fresh and tasty and had 6 different pizzas to choose from each time and pizzas were refreshed quickly. The place was pretty quiet (only about 3 tables including us) but we didn't mind that atmosphere. The staff were friendly to us and even asked us if we wanted to take any pizza back with us at the end so that it didn't get wasted and we kindly agreed 🤣

Kids love this as a treat..The staff in the Hereford branch are really friendly..the Manager is lovely. Food is fresh and tasty. On several occasions we've had to wait around 10 minutes for more pizza to be cooked when we chose the buffet option. In peak times the pizza is taken within seconds.

Once seated down we ordered from the table, other staff were just loitering around not doing anything. We had to ask about the buffet as nothing was out about it at this time and wasn't stated when seated. We chose to get the buffet for 3 children and 2 adults. Once the pizzas were laid out there was another family (that I assume waited longer than us) who got up and rinsed all the "small" pizzas, the ones only our kids would eat. Waiting again, having to ask when more will be brought out, again the same family done the same thing. We had to ask again after waiting for ages for more to be brought out as this is a "buffet" and get our children to wait right by it so they could actually eat something. Did we get our money's worth (absolutely not). With this going on and the fact that the staff watch you like hawks to see how much food you're consuming and coming up to your table every 10 minutes to ask if you are done, very rude and embarrassing for people with food in their mouth. Toilets absolutely stink like mould and damp as well, air freshener wouldn't go a miss like.

Pretty typical Pizza Hut - clean, well presented, helpful & attentive staff. The pizzas were pretty average, but we were expecting no more. Very quiet for a early Sunday evening at the end of the school holidays. Oddly their website indicated no tables available when we tried to book online, but plenty of free space when we got there.

Quite an enjoyable experience. Two of us had a buffet. Pizzas were coming out regularly and were all good. The waitress that served us was really friendly and a delight. Only let downs were the Pizza Hut managers spread out over a table doing very little but ruining the vibe and the lack of parking here (car park was completely full with limited disabled space provisions).

Average. Stopped because we were hungry. Service was rubbish.

Pizza is tasty, but not exceptional. Was quiet when we went, and one of the drinks machines wasn't working. Prices are on the high side, I would expect better quality overall for the prices here. It feels like a cheaper restaurant, but the prices say otherwise. I wouldn't go back, because it didn't feel like good value.

I have been 3 times in the last 6 months, and the ice machine is never working. The ladies' loos need attention and the attitude on one of the servers was slappable. I wo t be going again.

AWFUL! “Manager” got in both my mother and fathers faces and shouted at them when my parents raised issues “manager” was also in regular clothing in the kitchen (no gloves, etc) POOR HAND HYGINE. No selection, way over priced for nothing! I was left severely ill! Disgusting toilets (blood all over the floors) generally disgusting place should be shut down immediately!!
