It was great, we struggled with the app and got very good help from the kind young lady.

Truro branch are fantastic the team are amazing at what they do 100% better than domino’s. I will always go there every time everyone at the Truro branch are a credit to Pizza Hut. Thank you.

First time for many years we have eaten at Pizza Hut. We were pleased with the quality of food and the service was good too. We all had the buffet which was good value for money and great choice of salads and pizzas.

As you'd expect from a pizza hut, food good but the service is lacking these days. Everything is order through the QR code!

We haven't been here for several years but tonight popped in for my sons birthday treat. Wow its got expensive, just glad I didn't bring the other kids too. Now you order via an app. Takes away any interaction with ordering. We ordered dips when our meal came as there's no mayo, just ketchup and bbq sauce. After 15mins waiting and almost eaten our food I had to go up and ask for the dips... food was tasty, but I dont think I can justify returning for the price anymore

Love this place. Real American diner feel. My wife is American and she loves it.

Very poor offering on the buffet. At one stage there was nothing. Salad bar has gone so far downhill, it would be better if it was scrapped.

Lovely manager so helpful girls were lazy and rude I bought the two koppanourg off I politely asked if they could be served seperatley so they are nice and cold she abruptly said no The manager was enthusiastic lovely guy even let us take home extra pizza from buffet The two girls saw my boy drop a full drink on the floor they stood there talking and walked off when I began cleaning it up Once again the manager noted the spillage jumped straight in to help top marks for him

We arrived at quarter to 9 for food where we waited for 5 mins to be seated despite us being 1 of 2 groups in the restaurant. Multiple members if staff walked past and ignored us. One staff member who was serving pickup orders served us after doing the pickup orders as noone else was seating us. We ordered food which was lovely. The salad bar was empty, i understand it was late however a member of staff told us it would be refilled which it wasn’t and at 9:30 they cleared the salad bar which seemed unfair since we had been told it would be refilled. There was an incident of a light smashing on our table into glasses and salad bowls which added to the situation as there was no more salad to get new bowls of. When filling our drinks we found the Pepsi max was out if stock and was not getting refilled which would have been nice to know before ordering as members if our party ordered refillable for Pepsi max. The pizza itself was nice though.

It's pizza hut, so not much to expect. The buffet was pretty well stocked, and so was the salad bar. The service was average. A bit of a cold greet. Various times a waiter came to our table with an order that wasn't ours. Overall, a good place to go for a quick bite to eat

Was passing and just fancied a pizza and we was glad we did it. Pizza and salad bar was amazing and the dessert 🍨 was very nice.

One of the better pizza huts I've been to. The staff here were amazing, very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, more selection than other pizza huts I've been to and it was regularly refilled.

We went there, they don't have sufficient space for people and when we ask about it. Staff was looking like us we something else. The thing is that there is a worse service from the staff.

£55:03 for 2 people to eat and drink. For food that is average at best. Specials are not available on the app that you HAVE to order from. Service was better than the food. Used plaster clearly visible in the booth we were seated in so hygiene is a major issue. Stale salad at the salad bar. Flavourless "spicy hot wings" in bbq honey that just taste of honey for over £7 for 5 wings. Seriously not value for money. It's dirty, expensive, tasteless food all wrapped in a pretty light up pizza hut sign. My advice would be grab a burger from mc donalds next door to tide your hunger until you reach pretty much anywhere that's not this pizza hut.

The pizza hut in question hasn't been updated in over 15 years. Food was sub par and £65 for a family of 3 for the meal was just crazy. Left feeling like we had been scammed. No long takes cash and you order through the app. Would never go there again.

Worst pizza I've ever had. The service was awful. We had to order using the app as that was the only option. We had two meatfeast pizzas, and the topping was best described as sparse. The base was extremely chewy.when the staff cleaned the tables and food left on them, was just just brushed onto the floor and left there.

The food was great. Staff were polite and friendly but service was slow and staff were inattentive at times. I could see staff were doing their best - unsure if they were short staffed tonight.

TLDR: Friendly Staff and Tasty Food, but Expect Some Wait Time It was a pleasant experience overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant offered plenty of seating in a clean and tidy environment. Me and my friend had a margherita pizza with chips, and a pepperoni pizza, both of which were excellent in quality with decent portion sizes. It's worth noting though that the food did take around 30 to 40 minutes to arrive, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. The atmosphere at the restaurant was relaxed and not too loud, which made for a comfortable experience. While the prices were on the high end, the food was very nice, making it a good choice for an occasional treat. Overall, I would recommend Pizza Hut for those looking to eat in a laid-back environment. Just be prepared for potential wait times on busy days. It's a great place to visit for a casual meal with friends or family.

Great service Rachel the waitress was brilliant, it was my first visit here and I ordered are meals and she said she can turn that into a meal deal. Amazing not many staff would do that.as it's all about money. A big thankyou to Rachel. We will return many thanks.

Came here for food last week with my partner and 2 children! Amazing service by all who worked there, and the lady was so so good with my toddler who was a little unsettled at the beginning. Enjoyed it so much that I am now booking a meal for my daughters 12th birthday this month. 😊

We had a wonderful experience at Pizza Hut. It was a little busy, as it was a Friday night, but our server, Hannah, was still highly attentive and really made the whole experience worthwhile for us. The food was brought out quickly and was delicious, and the salad bar and drinks were great. Quite pricey, so value for money is questionable, but the wonderful service really made up for it. Thank you Hannah!

The restaurant is always clean and tidy, music is a nice touch and not too loud, Becky is always so polite and friendly, the food was lovely and hot

Came in on a Monday evening so was nice and quiet about 5 tables max. Ordered food that seemed to take for ever to arrive. Had some cheesy garlic bread as a side and when it came out, it looked like they had forgot to put cheese on it as there was like 5 bits of cheese on each slice. When I got the server over her excuse was it was a rush. Again at this time 3 tables. When it eventually came back out it was dumped on the table as was asked is this better. Like we shouldn't have even bothered to mention it in the first place. The kitchen didn't prepare a new portion for us, it was the same one cooked twice with more cheese so was dry and tough Staff were incompetent to listening to simple instructions. We asked if our desert to have as take away and then 20 mins later comes out on plates and then we are questioned on what was said by the same server who just seems to get more rude as time goes by. That is why they haven't even got one star for service. I wouldn't bother wasting your time with pizza hut in Truro, it has massively gone down hill. Would have had better food and service from the McDonald's across the road.

Great place when there for the buffet and kids love it

less than impressed with this place. we came in to have a family meal but staff were unable to take an order as pizza hut only allow ordering via the app or website and are completely cashless. staff were very warm and inviting but their hands wee tied by company policy. sadly we left without eating after a hard to navigate menu on the website. we opted to head to dominos and made an order over the counter paid cash and had food in 15 mins. its a shame to see such a long standing brand working in such a self destructive way.

Food was as expected during the buffet, however the service was great. There was only one lady working, unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was doing such a good job on her own with an almost full shop since opening time. Pizza selection was not great, veggie pizza options were lacking and 4/5 of the meat pizzas had pork on them so not much selection for someone who doesn't eat pork

Classic Pizza Hut, salad bowl a fave. Grandchildren loved it, must be the never ending ice cream. Good offers too with the honey hot pizza. Manager really helpful.

The food is always very nice, I enjoy the pizzas very much. Having to order myself via the app and then being asked if I want to tip before even seeing my food is a bit of a joke. The prices are starting to get out of hand though. For a family of 4 you are probably about to spend £100 which in my book is a lot on lunch. Which at that sort of money I could buy at least 2x chinese takeaways or 2x indian take aways for a family of 4. Drinks are one of the most over priced items at £3.99 each. Also the price difference from eating Monday to Friday compared to weekend prices is just astronomical difference.

Service is always a 5 here. Wonderful staff. However I cannot see pizza hut lasting much longer under current conditions. Menu and prices are not nearly competitive enough. We went at what would be considered as peak lunch time and were the only ones in the restaurant. Such a shame.

The grandchildren love it here they especially love the ice-cream. however I do feel they could do some better value deals

My Birthday, decided to take family and carer for buffet lunch, raining, wet floors very slippery, salad bar poor choice and quality, beetroot cubes hard, corn cold and raw, 50+ diners, cold pizza no choice, no toppings, all bread tasteless, no lime ice cream, Total ruined our occasion. Sadly will not be ever returning.Hot pasta dishes were hot but bland, pasta in white water like sauce and a tomato based watery sauce both in pats tubes 3' long.Total waste to £47.Dominoes here we come.

As always, Pizza Hut is good and always hits the spot. Food was great staff where amazing one pizza came out half burnt and the cut it off and cooked a new one for us. Atmosphere is only a 3 as there was only 2 tables in felt like a ghost town

Nice and clean inside good atmosphere. Pizzas over priced and wasn't the best. You can tell it was cheap chicken they used and when you pay over £30 for a sharing pizza you expect the ingredients to be abit better. The only thing I loved was the stuffed crust. Unfortunately another brand who doesn't want to employ people. Drinks took a while as only saw 2 serveres, one was the man who takes you to the seats so was doing two jobs. Takes away the personalisation everything done on the app. Not the fault of the people who work there but the company

The food was delicious and very quick! The salad bar was clean and well organised. Out food was taken from us super efficiently. My friends and I had a wonderful evening:) Thankyou to all the lovely staff at Truro Pizza hut!!

Took my 2 boys and a friend for a birthday treat. What an absolute rip-off!! £68 for a small pepperoni pizza, chips, onion rings, about 5 chicken nuggets and 3 ice creams. The chips were cold and the pizza was bland at best. Staff were friendly but I will not be returning anytime soon. 👎

What a soulless place. Not the best experience I have had when eating out The staff were okay but you place your own order after you scan the QR code on your phone. No real interaction with the staff, not their fault. The pizza were okay but not the best & not cheap. Altogether disappointing

Food wasn't warm. Took a long time to order and arrive. Lots of noisy children, but to be expected. Haven't be there for 6 years will not be going again. Shortage of staff but the one's there helpful and friendly. Not what it used to be.

Rachel was amazing. She didn't stop moving the entire time we were there. When she wasn't taking orders, she was serving meals, clearing tables, sweeping the floor... Every member of our party (5 of us, ages ranging from 11 to 78) commented on how she just kept going! It was almost memorising watching her zoom from one table to the next, one minute carrying a tray of drinks, the next minute cleaning the seats at the table next to us, then dashing past with a dustpan and brush... There were other staff in the restaurant (a different person seated us and I saw a manager clear a couple of tables) but Rachel seemed to be serving every table (at least 10 tables, possibly more) and she made it look effortless... Having worked in the service industry for many years when I was younger, I know how difficult it can be to be that busy and yet keep smiling. She was friendly, happy and polite and she made our evening thoroughly enjoyable. If there is any way to acknowledge and reward her hard work, you really should do that - Rachel is a credit to your business and we certainly hope that she serves us next time we visit.

Great service and friendly staff! Dined here wednesday the 8th so midweek and in school term. So not overly busy all in all great experience and good value!

Food was ok, as always having to wait for fresh pizza to arrive, then everyone descends and it's all gone again in seconds.

Front of house staff present a clear language barrier and simply direct you to a table and to use an app and QR code. This was extremely frustrating especially when one of us didn't't have a phone. Couldn't get any answers to questions due to the language barrier. The app asks you if you want to leave a tip just before placing your order. The round tables are a nightmare seating 6 of us and only one entrance (makes refillable drinks and toilet trips a macarena) The front of house staff besides not interacting with us at all basically sat at the entrance the entire time while eating sweets and one appeared to struggle to walk due to a pregnancy. The single person who spoke perfect English was the one that brought our food out however originally got this wrong. Price Vs value is not worth it. You may as well have an arrow to the seats and a sign to use an app. No human interaction food was Ok but for the experience it reminds me why nobody really goes there anymore. If you get seated in the human roundabout seating look at the chandelier for how many of their coloured test tubes appear to have fallen out and pray this doesn't happen to you.

I used to love pizza hut. But I'm VERY disappointed in the new size pizza's. I ordered an 11 inch but it was more like a 9. Not worth the price of £22. It seems they are joining chocolate makers in reducing the size, but upping the price. Will not be returning to pizza hut unfortunately.

Went approx 16.30 during half term. Everything was clean and well organised. The food was prompt and all machines were working properly. The children's meals are decent value for money, and plenty of variety for picky eaters. No cash payment available, all transactions are card/online. Venue is warm, pizza was cheesy, all you need really 🤷

Deliveroo got our order to us reallllllllly late > 2.5 hours! Pizza Hut made up for it by making us fresh pizzas and sending 2 slices of a glorious Speculoos cheesecake. The wonderful service & decent pizzas for a fast food joint - will make us order from The Hut again!

Quiet but the pizza buffet was hot and fresh, and good value overall.

Food: Standard pizza hut. Waitresses: nice. Price: Flipping Expensive CASHLESS!! Which I despise! BARCODE App ordering, which I also despise and refuse to do so won't go again unless they start accepting Cash.

The service was fast. I ordered a takeaway pizza for someone that couldn't make it, I was given a timescale of how long it would take and the timescale was fulfilled. I was also able to use my Bluelight discount as I work for the NHS and this was a definate bonus.

I ate in here and came out feeling bloated and the atmosphere was terrible just avoid of nothing. And very plain Jane. No offence to anyone called Jane. Oh way too expensive for what it is.

Sorry, but I review for only 2 reasons; when food is exceptional, or when it’s utterly appalling, sadly it’s the latter. I last went to Pizza Hut many, many years ago, and todays visit was just shocking tbh, what on earth happened to Pizza Hut?! Fond memories have been shattered by what can only be described as cheap ingredients, no frills, bland and badly cooked food, I’m pretty sure I could have improved both budget and quality by picking up a frozen Chicago Town from Iceland for £1-2. Salad bar was peculiar and underwhelming with some odd choices. One and done for me, won’t be returning to this or any Pizza Hut branch again.

Absolutely shocking food was awful and and very small portions the the price you pay, staff where misserable as anything and not very welcoming Got are order wrong and it was our fault apparently... Salad bar was horrible no fresh food and not to mention the mouldy tortilla crisp that was in the salad bar really wouldn't recommend going there.

Really bad service, every dish was dirty, salad bar was disgusting nothing was fresh. ordered pudding and they took 20min to come and tell me its not in stock. Gave my wife her pudding and made me wait 10 more min to microwave a brownie that was still cold. Hand delivered with really dirty hands.told him I wasn't happy and there wasn't a care in the world. Would not recommend to anyone.

Ohhh pizza hut! What the heck happened? The bowls and plates are ridiculously tiny, the salad bar is more like salad toppings and sauce, the pizza was fantastic, but the place is absolutely filthy!!! I wouldn't recommend looking around while you're trying to eat! Filthy floors, walls, windows, chairs, tables all sticky. We moved a table and underneath was filled with old food, general mess and napkins, and by this point they hadn't been opened long, so it isn't like people had already come in and made a royal mess, but even if they had, why wasn't it cleaned ready for new customers?! We only saw 2 members of staff, and even had to get our own knives and forks as the floor staff couldnt spread themselves that thin! Health and safety clearly isn't top priority in this truro hut anymore! Do better before someone leaves with some horrific food poisoning!!!

I used to like coming here but it's changed and not for the better! We was told to sit at a table then download an app, then order online and pay for it online, If I wanted to do that I could have stayed at home and had it delivered! Maybe if I had stayed at home I wouldn't of had to endure the miserable staff and the screaming kids that was running around the restaurant! As for the food £40 to share a pizza and salad with my wife. And when the pizza arrived to the table it was awful, lukewarm and dried up, What a disappointing visit to the Truro store. Needless to say we won't be back!

I was very disappointed in this evenings visit for my sons birthday felt very unwelcome was told to order through a app I refused we had a big party and that's the waiters job if I wanted to order through an app I would of got a delivery. Your menu prices are ridiculous and food that was served up was cold and tasted like cardboard your help your self drink refills was terrible I didn't even get the drink I pressed for I was starting to think we might even need to clean our own plates your staff didn't even want to be there and even said dominos was better when I complained so thanks for ruining my sons birthday we will never return. Put me and the party off for life.

Ordered and paid via the App (including a tip) for 2 individual deals to then be informed they had no chicken so had to order an alternative. No salad let alone unlimited salad. Staff had a couldn't care less attitude and were largely absent . Manager should've used their initiative and gone to one of the nearby supermarkets to buy some salad if not some chicken. Shame you pay and tip before not after as we would've gone elsewhere. Won't be returning for a repeat of this poor experience

We used to love Pizza Hut but this wasn't what we loved. No choice of salad, all running out and manky. Overpriced in the extreme, smaller portions not particularly well cooked. Service? What service? It is all done on the app and you have to hunt for staff. The floor is sticky and tables aren't cleaned. Then there are little things like no mayo, none of the garlic and chilli oil. Disgusting machines... and the salad bar... again foul and empty. When did an amazing night out at a moderate price become over £100 for 5 people with smaller portions, no staff and no salad? The onion rings were raw, the garlic bread had very little garlic butter... it was a sick joke and ruined a birthday treat for our youngest. An Indian would have been cheaper! A high quality Italian would have been cheaper. Never coming back. Ruined his memories of what Pizza Hut was like for him as a kid.

Awful experience to put it lightly. Wanted a pizza and salad, salad bar looked like it was being held hostage from the previous night so skipped that, got a pizza that had hair in it, unfortunately didn't notice until i was two slices in. When I complained about it, Will was extremely rude and dismissed my concerns about the above. Should not even be open. Disgusting service & horrible food. Eaten at plenty of pizza huts around the country, and this was just the worst.

The pizza is good I enjoy it but very greasy & very expensive for what it is. It has put me off from coming back for a while as I'll have to save up for quite a while. Think I'd be better off going Asda getting a pizza made up plus everything else we had for well over half the price. I went there wanting a cheesy bites pizza & take some home. 14 inch not overly big but bigger enough to take some home. I got there it was £34 odd. That is day light robbery. So unfortunately I didn't have it

We enjoyed our last visit a couple of months ago. This is a better Pizza Hut then some others, while they tried to encourage us to use the app to order they didn't force that. The food was good and we had a relaxing time. Having recently visited a different Pizza Hut I realize this one isn't just an average Pizza Hut, it's much better than some.

Nice atmosphere the waiter was very kind and welcoming used Blue light discount for the mains. As usual salad bar was my favourite item

Some of the salad buffet a bit slimy, but food and drink great. A bit pricey for pizza without a voucher and drinks always overpriced massively. No worse than any other restaurant

It is nice pizza and restaurant. They just need to watch the salad bar as the bell peppers were empty and the cucumbers at the end of day go a bit slimy as been there all day. Keep the salad bar fresh. Staff were kind. I think the host that shows us to our table needs to not encourage ordering from the app when we are inside the restaurant as the waitress then could not take our order, she had little to do as not many people in that evening. People need jobs, and less tech taking the jobs away.

Awful atmosphere and unwelcoming weird staff. Imagine eating mediocre pizza in a morgue, well it was nearly as good as that.

Great service, you have to use a code scanner to download the menu and order that way, it's a bit of a fuss especially if you want to add or take off toppings, but the food was great and we didn't have to wait to long either, atmosphere was good, would definitely go again.

Pizza Hut used to have really great pizzas, but the bean counters and accountants have found ways of reducing costs at the expense of pizza quality

What a shame a young member off staff when asked in front of my 12 year old son today in general convo about booking online feels the need to use an offensive swear word in front of him. Very unprofessional wearing the pizza hut brand. Apart from that its a nice place with good parking.
