Pizza arrived cold and stale. App also wasn’t updated to say it was on the way until it was already there.

This pizza delivery is worst i ever seen in liverpool and after 1 hour of waiting and i call the restaurant they were very bad in customer service and rude behaviour. Later they told me oven burnt out . This is not a reason to give customer after accepting order . They should be inform the customers when there is problem. Dont order from this restaurant any more. Worst in customer service and they way they talk to us.

Waited over a nour , received totally wrong order

Smithdown Road Branch, L15, Liverpool - Ordered 2 Large Pizzas, Wedges, Nachos and a bottle of drink - Meal Deal £24.99 + Dips. (£25.98) The lack of quality control was appalling. Pizza arrived really quick (30 minutes) which was actually quite good having waited 2 hours when I've ordered previously (1*), but this time the food was totally over-cooked, to the point all the meat on the Pizza had dried out and gone crispy. Took a couple of pictures before i ate it, as didn't get that 'oh wow, that looks gorgeous' feeling when I opened it up, but frankly we were starving so ate what was feasible anyway; sadly it didn't disappoint us on the taste front as it was as bad as l thought it would be. Rock Hard and tasteless. The only saving grace was sufficient dipping sauce to douse the pizza in. Texas BBQ - Literally no BBQ Sauce base, dry as hell and tasteless 1/2 Buffalo & Jalapeño - Dry, not spicy at all, mayo saved it a little bit 1/2 Meaty One - Seriously dry, hard, crispy chicken, dry hard bacon, not juicy or tender at all. Nacho's - Complete lack of topping and dry as hell, skimping on the cheese and salsa eh PH' Potato Wedges - Actually OK! I'm frankly getting really P***** Off with local Pizza companies right now because it seems like they've took a nose dive and don't care about customers; this isn't the first (major chain) over the last few months I've had issue with. Pizza's like this should have a person at the end of the line saying 'it can't go out like that make it again'; but no franchises are owned by greedy operators that place quality behind profit.

pizza was bland and not much taste it. for £20 the other local pizza shops are much better and you are just paying for the brand. was like eating it with covid, could not taste anything at all.

Ordered off Uber eats,Spent £33.00 for 2 people,Pizza was cold absolutely Fuming would not recommend this place at all Avoid.

Waited almost 2 hours for food because the delivery driver delivered our order to the wrong flat. Didn't check the name on the receipt! They did remake our order and eventually send it to the right address with an additional apologetic drink and ice-cream. The dough was terrible and flat on the replacement pizzas, nothing like the usual classic crust at all. Not appetising or worth the wait...

Pizza sauce lacked flavour and the staff was miserable as hell.

I phoned and spoke to a staff member to clarify my order, yet they still sent the wrong pizza. I phoned back and the person on the phone could not understand what I was saying, I asked if there was someone else who would be able to understand the very simple sentence I was saying and I was told no. Someone would be back in 10 minutes so I had to wait. It’s been over 10 minutes, I’ve called back multiple times and no answer. Now I’m stuck with a cold pizza that quite frankly is disgusting

The food was to a low standard and was cold. I ordered the pizza without garlic and got garlic.

Monika at Smithdown road Pizza Hut is a credit to your company. That lady needs a raise!! Initially I called up after an online order and she happily arranged my request to add jalapeños to my pizza and have delivery rather than collection (which I selected in error). When the pizza arrived one of the pizzas was half and half margarita/pepperoni. I called her back and said I’d ordered Hawaiian not margarita. She politely asked me to check my order, which I did, and in fact she was right. I ordered the wrong pizza. I went back to the phone and admitted it was my fault, yet she insisted they send out another pizza with the order I originally wanted. Even though I messed up!! She was just happy to be spoken to with dignity and respect, which was humbling for me. I was shocked at how great she was and literally would make me choose and recommend this Pizza Hut all the time now. Thank you Monika!

Delivery was perfect but the food wasn’t it. Barely any cheese in the stuffed crust and the margherita pizza wasn’t cooked well some of the slices didn’t even have barely any cheese on it. Just to top it of the food came cold, I think delivery was fast because the food was all old looking to go on its way out.

Everytime I go in there they make the best pizza's when you can choose anything too have.

The friendliest most beautifully souled staff in any pizza place I’ve ever known, the pizza is made with love and care, the garlic sprinkles are like fairy dust, I’m now a regular customer and I tell everyone I know that dominoes and papa johns is garbage compared to the god worthy creations these artists produce.

Very rude manager. She literally throw the order on my face. The other staff is good apart from that rude manager I will complain about her 🤬

Very poor. Only received part of order. 3 pizzas ordered only 2 delivered of which 1 was wrong. Spoke to manager on phone. Who was aggressive and not interested in listening. Manager and staff very rude and disrespectful stating they are right and not customer. Staff including manager stating Pizza Hut only make supreme pizza and there is no such thing as vegetarian supreme. Turned up at store but manager hid in back and shouting to staff to not serve at front and stay in back. The one staff members who was on front desk I showed him receipt and he confirmed order was wrong but manager shouted for him to come to the back. They even had their own receipt but still denied order was wrong. No refund provided. No additional pizza provided. So they took money but not delivered correct order. Avoid this branch.

The worst pizza service ever, arrived 1h late, we cancelled delivery, pizza still got delivered and message received stating driver had been late due to traffic accident and this would be complimentary and refunded in 3 days, 2 weeks later still no refund (£59) staff have lied constantly and customer services are extremely unhelpful and siding with staff. If you want cold, late food, poor service and lots of lies, go to Pizza Hut!!!

Just delivered open pizzas that looked like they had been tampered with. The pizzas were for our little ones. I worked for a pizza shop in my uni days. So, a big no thank you. I'll try my chances elsewhere. Phone the establishment and spoke with someone in charge that was exceptionally rude, argumentative, raised her voice and then slammed down the phone eluding to no refund and appeared to suggest that we were perhaps asking for freebies. We were very polite and relaxed throughout the call. This call was recorded. Your legally allowed to do this fellow readers if its for personal reference and it can be used in court too if accepted by the court. We further took video and photo evidence of our issue. We called our bank and raised a request for a charge back and discussed evidence needs. Given we earn six figures, the freebies response was discussed with our bank. Its good to know the law and it's even easier when thats your background. We then drove up in our 85,000 car. Parked outside the shop, returned the products (the 35.23 order for three pizzas), showing the order receipt and informed our bank will take care of the rest. No further comment. We took video evidence of the products moment's after delivery and then our return to the shop . [Note for JPMorgan Chase bank processing team as this review shared in charge back details. Order no. 9045]. This all happened (complaint and return) within 30 minutes of delivery, which by the way was late. Pizza Hut that was shameful as a customer experience. Customer issues should be handled professionally. A complaint doesn't mean that a customer is trying to get one over you. Hence why we've included some monetary references. It's not about freebies, it's about delivering an acceptable product and service. You've failed at both today. You've no excuse for the hot tempered chat on the call today either. We can only assume that you feel that you'd get away with this more times than not. Noted that the manager hid away at the back and sent a young employee out to the counter to handle the return. A sorry at that point would have been fine and enough for me not to Google Review. We are posting our videos to YouTube and Twitter in the coming days and shall be in touch with Head Office. Theres training need at your franchise and a clear need for intervention. Also perhaps you need a brush up on the law too. Take note anyone with poor experiences at this rogue pizza shop. This is the process you follow. Trust me, I designed the HM Courts Small Claims Service on GOV.UK. Raise the issue politely first/amicable redemiate for a reasonable amount of time, take evidence, call your bank for Charge Back and failing that, issue a small claim. Appalling. Who's won this one? Me, and not with a single raised voice, tantrum or needing to slam down a phone. Here's hoping those three pizzas haven't gone to another customer. Don’t go here I tried calling them as my Uber eat app WASNT working but was greeted to an angry Employee who verbally abused, threatened, and insulted me, will not be back

Ordered two pizzas on Monday and then was called at 16:34 by the Manager to say they couldn't complete the order because oven was broken and they would refund my money. Instead they processed my payment and now I have had to complain to head office to get my money back....DO NOT USE!!

Ordered Pepsi, got Pepsi max, called restaurant bloke shouted he has no Pepsi, take it off the menu then?

Driver didn't deliver, I contacted the restaurant directly spoke to a very rude and ignorant staff member called Jordan Rushworth who said he was manager. He said driver arrived and called my mobile 3 times and said he rang bell . None of this happened I told Jordan Rushworth this he told me they would redo order but we have to wait a further 1 hour . I asked why I had to wait a further hour he just put the phone down on me and cut me off.

Only 10 mins late. But stone cold. £20 I won’t waste again.

Really quick service, and great pizza. Pizzas usually arrive within 30 minutes, even at very busy times. Note: my previous review (from 2019) was very negative, but it's massively improved since then. If you haven't been here recently, I'd give them another try.

Pizza was okay but never received the missing is cheesy garlic 4 pieces bread which is annoys terrible company is Pizza Hut 👎very disappointed 😞

Pizza arrived freezing. to be fair the delivery person couldn't find my house but she should have called me straight away when she couldn't find it.

It was 35 mins late and therefore cold. Order was wrong and missing sides. Order was also over cooked. I use just eat regularly - And while some experiences have been better than others - this is the first time I have complained.

Rude, unprofessional manager. Returned the order and did not here anything. Contacted customer care and they advised a repeat order has been delivered. Phoned the hut and asked why did they give wrong info to customer service when they never remade the order. She (manager) did not listen a word and started becoming aggressive and hung up. No refund given, no repeat order made. Appalling customer service. No surprises when I had a look on other customer reviews. (Unprofessionalism, probity issue, rude staff).

Great efficient food was lovely

The pizzas are lovely from here but it is expensive especially for the sides and you have to spend £20 plus to get delivery but food is tasty

Just tried to get a cheese free pizza. It came tasting, and looking, like it had cheese on it, or at least a replacement product that tastes the same. They denied and refused to make it again. No money back. What happened to the customers always right? Make the pizza again out of courtesy, ensuring it doesn't have cheese or replacement, and if I don't like it then that's fair game. Poor

Delivery time was a bit long; ordered at 7:15 given delivery time of 8:30. However, food arrived at 8:20. Had ordered two large pizzas one cheese & tomato & one meat feast. Both well topped & really hot. Pay a fair bit more for Pizza Hut pizza but much better than some other pizzas had recently from others on Just Eat. Need to offer deals on Just Eat that you can get ordering through app for better value. Currently can’t get delivery to our postcode through app but can through Just Eat.

Use this Pizza Hut regularly, always quick delivery (unlike other takeaways)! Always hot and great customer service, and of course, delicious pizza! Keep up the good work!! JCJ. Liverpool.

Very poor customer service, member of staff very rude. Ordered on line and payment taken by direct debit but restaurant denies order received. Now have to contact customer services to try and get a refund. Better going to Pizza Parlour on Smithdown rd.

FIRST TIME ORDER! If you want a decent pizza then order a Domino's, this place is awful, we ordered online but there was a mistake on our part, hey ho mistakes happen! We phoned to make a change to the order but the badly trained mouthpiece that took the call was so rude we cancelled the order, ha well we thought we did but they still took our money even though we didn`t receive our pizza, we`ve had to start a dispute with the credit card company to recover our money, stay well clear of this place. We ordered Dominos in the end who have brilliant pizzas and much better customer service. PS, don`t try and ring customer service as it doesn`t exist with this company.

Ordered 2 pizzas for collection - got them home and one was the wrong toppings - phoned up and they sent out a replacement ASAP - Plus, both pizzas were delicious - won't hesitate to use again :D

I ordered food 3 hours ago and it has still not been delivered, called them 40 times and no answer. Absolutely disgusting service, would not recommend ordering a delivery from this place.

Absolutely ridiculous , ordered food and it still hasn't came after 3 hours bare in mind it's a small order of only one pizza one side and one drink,, as it hasn't came have been calling the store for almost 40 minutes and no one is answering the phone . Surprisingly good pizza! I'm not normally a big fan of pizza hut but I've got to say that this time was a much better experience than I've had in the past. Ordered the large pepperoni pizza and was delicious! - An absolute steal at £7.

Disopointed customer service skills, staff are rude.

Daniel assistant manager very rude & asked my daughter for her number in order to take her out. Very inapropriate & not very proffesional behaviour for a host. My daughter is very shy and embaressed, ruined our family meal. Daniel appears to be romanian, even so he should learn manners. We will not be visiting again!

Horrendous. Waited two hours for our tea not to turn up. First called after one hour to see where it was, told it would be here in a few minutes. Called again after an hour and a half had passed, told it would be here in a few minutes. Finally called after two hours of waiting, apparently the delivery driver had gone home and the manager had no idea what had happened. She promised a refund and £20 in addition but after checking the customer service they could only process the refund. Thanks.

Utterly abysmal! Waited two hours for food which wasn’t delivered. Rang the store twice and both times the lady said the food would be delivered in a couple of minutes which was a complete lie. Asked for a refund in the end and she accepted, but what an appauling service, I definitely would not reccomend.

Worst way to start 2018? A Pizza Hut delivery. We paid £25 for food that tasted like frozen supermarket food. The margherita had absolutely no taste, was undercooked with rubbery cheese. The vegetarian and pepperoni pizzas were mildly better but were still bland and undercooked. The garlic bread was also flavourless and exactly like the frozen type you can buy in Asda. The nachos weren’t burnt and the delivery took half an hour over the expected time. At least dominoes give you a couple of free dipping sauces.

Next time you think should I get a Pizza Hut ... ask yourself is it worth it. It probably isn’t.

Great for collection. Not good for delivery. Tip always ask them to put it back through for a couple minutes to brown the cheese. A lot nicer !
