Pizza Hut in Cardiff

Absolutely loved my experience at Pizza Hut. Nice service, delicious pizza, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely a must visit spot.

One of the best places the on the street to order pizza with multiple options. I would highly recommend the pan pizza which is a speciality and is only available in pizza hut and the cookie also hits the right spot. The staff including the manager are a super friendly bunch, always ready to help and a quick chat. Especially Akash who works in the evenings is a joyous guy , makes smacking pizzas and you can rely on him to get the order done right. I would recommend anyone to try this pizza hut joint and you'd definitely like their food and the people who work there.

Wrong food was sent which arrived cold, spoke to the manager who said it’s “ not his problem” and that I should email support and wait 48 hours for a reply… had to go get food elsewhere and still waiting for the refund as what they sent was inedible

Driver has been having hard time to find my place, but after 10 minutes with me on the phone + 3 text messages he finally found the way and delivered still warm delicious pizza hut, like always taste excellent 👌

Called here, my first time eating from a pizza hut! Service was slow, food was mediocre, the customer area was untidy. First impressions of a pizza hut, I won't be in a rush to go back to one!

The order was wrong, the hut delivered garlic bread instead of cheese garlic bread. They did not provide any dip with the pizzas.

Terrible. Food was cold, and the base was chewy/stale. Nothing like in the past or from other stores, it literally looked like store bought bases with a couple of toppings thrown on for a take-out price.

I can only comment on collection. The customer service was great, friendly and quick. The food was ready in good time and fantastic quality and taste. I want disappointed in any way and will call and recommended them in future.

The worst experience I have yet experienced in my life , pizza was hard and overcooked. Cookie dough was just a sold lump of cold cookie not soft at all, Delivery was very late .

Ordered gluten free base as part of a group order. Was disappointed to see that the pizza was a lot smaller than the normal pizzas and had less toppings, I ordered a medium and the whole pizza was just bigger than my hand. I ordered a make your own with vegan cheese and beyond meat sausage and jalapeños. The flavour wasn’t great, minimal cheese and the tomato sauce wasn’t very nice. I was hugely underwhelmed. If I hadn’t have got this through a 50% offer it would have been almost £18. I find this a bit of a joke if I’m honest, won’t be ordering from here again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend to anyone gluten free. Delivery was fine.

I ordered a Mac and cheese some potato wedges and a cookie dough, via deliveroo as my house was too far to have the food delivered. The Mac and cheese was great but the potato wedges were mostly okay until one I but into was green and tasted horrible I almost threw up after eating it. But everything else was okay.

This place used to be one of the best Pizza Hut's in Cardiff. It used to be so popular before Domino's. The pizza's used to be amazing! Cheap aslo! The dough used to be cooked perfect. The new staff the company employs never want to work and cook. When recieving my pizza, the dough tasted fresh as if it wasnt cooked properly at the right temperature or time. Food was cold. Rang to complain as it took 2 hours or less, they told me that they refuse to refund me but to offer me a free pizza there. During the call, the gentleman i spoke to could not understand a word of English which i found quite rude considering it's a place were most speak English or Welsh. The man was quite rude to me also. Not the best service or food.

Outstanding customer service. I have ordered 2 pizza today and it came very fast than expected. I ordered 1 margarita and 1 veg sizzlers and the pizza seems amazing and really delicious. The delivery guy was very kind. I would recommend this store to all my friends and relatives.

Excellent service and good food. Especially the staffs, they are very friendly and welcoming.

This store charged me for two pizza's but then point blank refused to deliver them. I was told it's "my problem not theirs". The manager is rude and condocending. I am now persuing legal action against this store out of principal. Pizza Hut is claiming they can't refund because they failed to send me a confirmation email. Apparently they cannot trust a bank statement. We'll see if the small clamis court does! Don't bother guys, this place is run by thieves.

They are very helpful, on time for the delivery, and very tasty.

Amazing food and really friendly staff

If I could give a zero - it would be this. Delivered pizza’s with missing order and the employee tried to blame the delivery driver (what?!) … a vegetarian received meat on his pizza… the wings were burnt… the pizza tasted stale… the garlic and herb dip curdled… no refund for missing items. Customer service was awful. Hanging up constantly, no apologising for the awful experience and would put us on hold to ‘transfer to a manager’ when infact there was no intent to put me through… mumbling the name so we couldnt understand. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I’m still in disbelief of what’s happened.

Ordered on app, was delivered late and food wasn’t even what I ordered in the first place. Pathetic

Arrived to collect order an they said they hadn’t received it on phone they told me £6-99 but by the time they gave me my pizza it had gone up by £2 As I was waiting for my pizza someone cookie fell out of the tray on to work service an they just scooped it up an put it into the box an sent it out for delivery But what is a huge concern is that they use the same pizza cutter for every pizza I would not use this Pizza Hut again

This is a fake pizza hut. Avoid at all costs. Myself and husband only found this out when it arrived and they use a different sauce company very disappointing. Also the pizzas tasted like they have bought it from a supermarket and shoved it in the oven. Awful awful food and customer service I won't go there but yeah never ever again. Awful avoid.

My order arrived on time despite it being Friday evening, which I imagine is pretty busy. The delivery driver was friendly + helpful, and the food was delicious (and still hot). Also got it a lot cheaper than the other popular pizza delivery chains because of their £5 favourites deal!

This is by far the worst ever pizza I have ever had in my life. I mean pizza hut sort it out. Well me and my husband will not be using you ever again. I now have food poisening and spent £40 on awful pizza. Avoid avoid avoid...

Very poor quality food. I ordered 2 larage vegtable supreme pizza. Both pizza were tasteless. You can hardly see any chesse inside the pizza plus i didn't receive any sauce with the both pizza. Very cheap quality food. Not gonna order ever again.

Well what can I say. Went into order a pizza and was welcomed by two friendly helpful staff, Mike & Paige, who was very patient with my order. When we got our food back to our hotel, was still very hot and delicious. Many thanks again 5* deserving and well recommend. Re: Ray from London. 😃

Perfect place if you want a few kilos of cheese slapped on bread. Enjoyed pizza from here for a number of years but in my last two visits I have been served a slobbery, greasy, cheesy abomination with no tomato sauce. Don't visit unless you want to choke on mozzarella.

A huge disappointment! I've ordered two large pizzas didn't get any dip with, when rang them then I was told that they charge extra for a dip ( charge for one/first/single dip really!??? 😬🥴👎) I have never, nowhere been charged for first single dip.

Issue with order quickly rectified with replacement delivered in under 20 mins. Would recommend!

Ordered a pizza today for collection. When we opened it at home it was a classic base rather then deep pan. Rang them to tell them and first the lady said we need to come back to show her the pizza and collect new one. We said we would not come back we live 5 min away. She put us on hold to ask her manager. She then said we could have a free pizza next time. She the put us on hold again and then said no that's what we had ordered. Rather then arguing with her after being put on hold 3 times I just Told her forget it as which she made no attempt to resolve or apologise. Awful service ruined our dinner

Absolute joke of s service. Ordered my pizza 2 hours ago and haven't heard nothing from them and when I ring the branch they either ignore my call or put me on hold. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE. What an absolute joke!

**edit** FOR EVERYONE'S INFORMATION IF YOU'VE HAD THE SAME ISSUE AS US - Partner spoke to staff in store when he got there, found out they have two store staff members and only the one driver. Which is ridiculous, especially on a weekend. Thankfully, they gave us a refund and remade the order there and then despite the order being sent out shortly before partner got there (I mean, that should've happened an hour and a half before that but whatever). Will definitely avoid ordering for delivery from this store again. We could've walked into town, eaten at the restaurant and been home in the time it took us to get our order. *currently awaiting order but having same issue as most other reviews. Phone no. provided either doesn't work or just keeps ringing. Called main customer services to find out what's happening and they say that loads of people have called tonight about this store w/same issue!! We're lazy and ordered delivery even though it's just down the road, so partner is currently on his way to the store to complain. Absolute joke.

Worst pizza place ever. Ordered once and waited over 2 hours for our food, with no apologies of any sort, in-fact there was attitude from the delivery driver. A couple of months later, we decided to try them again, and exactly the same thing. I am trying to get hold of them through the number provided as I type this, and they are not answering OR they are answering and putting me on hold - currently at 9 minutes. Will NEVER be going here again! Pathetic service.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR.. It says it will take 25-35 min and now it been OVER TWO hours. The branch is not picking up and the two numbers on contact us page do NOT pickup too. It is a mistake to pay online I wish I didn't so I can ignore them when they deliver. Two hours could been spent on the way to the restaurant and have my dinner and got back home. For certain will not order again

A full one hour after ordering online, contacted the store to be told that their driver was still out so it would be another 10-20 minutes. Thirty minutes later, called again to be told it was on its way. As the store is only 5 minutes driving time from me, I called again some 20 minutes later and cancelled. After a further 10 minutes the driver arrives and tells me that I have to take the pizza or it will be a problem for him!!!! I sent him on his way. No apology at any time; shockingly bad service.

Absolutely terrible customer service and attitude! , The weekend just gone decided to order a pizza as the family was down from England, my brother used his PayPal account with his debit card which is saved to PayPal and has been for 5 years. (which is a secure website) to order the food, used my address and my email address in the order but forgot the _ in my email address so the confirmation email went to another guy with the same name, the guy that read the email (before checking his bank account) immediately rang the crwys road Pizza Hut and said do not process the order as I haven't ordered anything and someone is comitting fraud with my debit card!!, after waiting an hour and 20 minutes for food i ring the Pizza Hut and he sais we can't process your order as its a stolen card just because this guy had an email with our order on it, the funds were taken from my brothers PayPal account as instructed, we then offered to come down to the Pizza Hut to show him proof that we are using my brothers card but was having none of it kept saying we can't do anything for you now it's been passed to head office and the police are involved!!, rings head office they have no clue what I'm on about and they just say crwys road Pizza Hut haven't got the authority to not proceed with the order, after two more phone calls to crwys road and there head office I just request a refund as there both useless!!, all I got is we will process the refund and email you when it's done... I'm still waiting now. All because someone got an email confirmation of an order that was paid for by us, the useless guy behind the till didn't believe what we were saying and just refused to give us food!! 😡😡😡

I thought the pizza deal was good value - £6 something for collection for any pizza. However it was abysmal! The whole place stunk of cigarettes and I woke up the next morning feeling extremely ill.

This was possibly the worst take away meal I have ever had. We decided to share a Large meal deal – one large pizza, garlic bread, potato wedges and a big bottle of Pepsi for £15. The pizza was disgustingly greasy and was the wrong crust, so covered in overpowering herbs, the garlic bread was cold and the potato wedges were completely tasteless. The only good thing about this meal is that it arrived quickly and the delivery driver was polite. We were disappointed as we have enjoyed eating at Queen Street Pizza Hut on several occasions but this meal was nowhere near the same standard.

Horrendously rude man works there, he even swore at my Mother! Pizza was decent but I will never be purchasing from the Pizza Hut franchise again. The man in questions is a large middle-aged ,an that drives the red Renault.

We ordered 2 pizzas earlier in the evening from Crwys Rd to arrive at 10pm - they arrived just after 10 but one was tepid and the other was so soggy on the base, it was inedible. Contacted customer services and requested a refund for the one pizza but this was refused. Won't be having our custom again, £25.99 is just not worth the poor quality that was delivered this time round. Was not happy with being expected to take the pizza back to the shop to prove my dissatisfaction. Save your money!

Took an hour for my food to come, despite not being far at all from where I live. All the food was cold and the pizza had even started to go hard. I'd never go there again now.

No one smiles and they have terrible customer skills!

After reading all the negative reviews I was very sceptical to go but it's my friend favourite place so we went anyway! We were seated immediately by a lovely waiter. The salad bar was a bit average, the lettuce was dry and a little brown at the edges but apart from that, pretty good. The garlic bread was warm and tasty and the pizza arrived within 30min and was hot and delicious!!! Maybe all the negative reviews have made them step up their game? Anyway I gave them 4* because I think they have improved due to the reviews! And quite frankly it was ALOT better than what I expected!!

Seated straight away by the only member of staff that seemed to be smiling. Waited about 10 minutes for our order to be taken. Then about 30 minutes for the food to turn up, only to find top over cooked and the base semi raw. Second one no better. The whole time I'm watching the staff and all I can say is what a bunch of grumps. Never again.

Tried this pizza hut a few times, each time there has been an issue! Wrong pizzas, wrong sauces, forgot to bring items etc etc. Fair play they do bring a whole new pizza and you keep the other one, but that usually goes to waste. Try Domino's 2 doors down ;-)

The pizza turned up 50 mins from order time and cold as if it had been cooked a long time ago. The manager told me when i called , that i couldn't have a refund as customer service is shut and that they won't be re-sending replacements as he will then be 'out of pocket' as i could phone customer service the next day and get a refund after having replacements. so he advised i throw away the pizza and call customer service the next day ... then hung up the phone I then phoned another pizza hut (Cardiff Bay Retail Park Heol Ferry, Cardiff - 029 2022 5620) spoke to a nice bloke to check it out, as i was shocked of what was happening and to see if another store can rectify the problem , he tells me that they are a franchise store who they are always getting phone calls about the poor service they provide. so although the branding etc is 'pizza hut' and the website ordering system etc they are a franchise that DONT follow the usual trading practices expected from 'Pizza Hut' you are dealing with: YUM! The food was awful the staff was not professional. Waste of money. Bad ambience.. I will never visit again to Queen Street Pizza hut again.
