Pizza Hut in Northampton

First visit to Pizza Hut today was shocked how expensive it was and did not except cash ,we should have a choice.We did enjoy the pizza but the chairs we sat on which were blue and white patterned ones were really filthy they need professionally cleaning so for that reason we will not be returning.

We haven’t visited a Pizza Hut in years. Shocked at the prices. £30 for a sharing pizza, which seems to have shrunk over the years! No table service. All online or via machines. I suppose this stops people walking out without paying though. The salad bar was kept stocked but the lettuce had seen better days and the majority of customers seemed to just want piles of tortilla chips which us weird as they taste of nothing! Unless they were scraping their pizza cheese onto them?! The guy who brought the food to the table was friendly.

What a dissapointing experience! So since COVID no option on cash payment! Yet still legal tender! No service at all, everything is DIY?!!! SO NO THANK YOU. 🤮

Haven’t been to Pizza Hut in years so we were both looking forward to it! Fair to say this was our very last visit to Pizza Hut ever! Everything was shockingly overpriced and the pizza itself was terrible. Nearly £6 for small bottled beer followed by a nearly £17 pizza that was so small in size I could not believe. It didn’t taste good at all. No customer service as you order by scanning QR code. Overall extremely poor experience. Never again.

Having not been to Pizza hut for some time, I was utterly shocked at the now exorbitant price of pizzas! £32 for a 4 topping large pizza?!?! It's absurd! We won't be returning! Okay so that will feed 2, possibly 3 people but we're talking, bread, a bit of tomato topping & a few bits of veg & ham! I suppose it helps pay for all the wastage from the 'free' salad bar; particularly kids piling bowls full of nachos (my two were guilty of that too!). Plus you do all the work in ordering it all now! No table service to speak of - just QR code it, order food on your phone or go to a service screen to order it yourselves. Service was shocking. They're too used to customers doing everything themselves that they pretty much leave you to it. We Had to find someone to ask if we could have our desserts after a long wait. Desserts were eventually bought out but the table wasn't cleared & the Waitrose who delivered the dessert walked away emptied handed. It wasn't until we finished dessert that someone came over and asked if we were done with the stack of plates! Overall poor poor service. I despise the post-pandemic 'do it yourself' mentality of restaurants.

Father’s Day trip with my wife and 3 kids. Can’t fault it at all, reasonable prices, lots of pizza, ice cream and a chilled family atmosphere so we didn’t feel pressured to leave or worried our kids were noisy etc. The food was fresh my wife and I had the all you can eat pizza and it was always kept hot and swapped out regularly. The kids loved the ice cream factory and we all had the ultimate refill drinks with plenty of choices. A great visit and we felt very looked after and had a great meal

Boxed standard Pizza Hut, you know what you are going to get. Service was quick and salad bar was well stocked and all looked fresh.

food a big improvement since last time, we had the buffet. £19.99 each including ice cream. not a fan of order yourself by scanning QR code. very inpersonal. i also dont like to be asked for a tip when staff had done nothing for me so far. Ordered on app, paid on app, then drinks and bowls arrived. I would rather go back to being served, as to be honest, felt a bit like a canteen. would we return, maybe, but wouldnt rush

Horrible atmosphere, they put me and my partner on a table next to a till with so much traffic and customers/staff standing around not giving me or my girlfriend any privacy. The staff were rude, shouting at each other next to the table i was on. The pizza was rather oily and the side order of cheese and bacon bites absolutely horrid. I reget the wasted £50+ I spent here and don't think I'll ever return. I ended up asking for the rest of my food to go as i felt so uncomfortable here. Was meant to be a cute meal out with my partner and I left feeling miserable.

This is one of the best pizza huts I’ve visited, hence it’s usually busy and advisable to book a table. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We have had both buffet and of the menu, food always good. Only negative is it card only, pushing us to a cashless society.

14 people, pre booked, no service staff- forced to order by impersonal machine. The ordering process took 20 minutes, a waitress would have had our orders in 5. Never coming back to PH until they bring back staff.

What can I say? The waitstaff were chill, the food came quickly and was hot, the salad was fresh and tasty. The drinking water was cold and the glasses clean. With the Meerkat Meal voucher it was a cheap dinner date with our anniversary and we will be returning. Love the place.

I visited with my 12 year old niece at lunchtime. We were greeted by a lovely man who found us a table straight away even though we had not booked. We opted for the lunch buffet which was brilliant value. It included unlimited pizza and pasta, refillable drink, salad bar and ice cream factory. The food was fantastic; there was a great range of pizzas and two pasta choices. The buffet was continuously restocked, nothing ran out and everything was fresh. I enjoyed trying pizzas that I would not normally choose. The salad bar was also fresh and you could help yourself at the drinks machine. The ice cream factory was also great. For the cost, this was exceptionally good value. The other positive was how great the staff are. Our server, Angela, was absolutely lovely. She was very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and she even checked that we were getting enough food. Other staff were great as well. The bathrooms were very clean as was the restaurant as a whole. We weren’t rushed and could take our time. We will definitely be back

We booked Pizza Hut for our daughter’s 4th Birthday last week and we are so glad we did! We had 3 generations of our family there and everyone said how great the staff were. The food was yummy, kids were happy and they gave the birthday girl a lovely card singing happy birthday when bringing out the cake! Would definitely recommend.

Lovely evening with my family. Ok so there were a couple of tiny errors Pizza wasn’t cut and no sharing pudding we had to ask for it but they were absolutely brill in rectifying these tiny issues with genuine apologies. Goodness I hope the area manager sees this and realises how hard they are working. All staff were busy non stop! Food was perfect, salad bar fresh and clean. Well done

From the moment we walked in the door all staff were lovely and quick to sort our table for us, they were attentive and every girl that served us made our night. We visited for my best friends 18th birthday, and were so happy we left a £7 tip, having worked in hospitality myself i can say these girls were brilliant, they made us feel so lovely and welcome and i hope they find this review well! We dropped into the Pizza Hut on a Monday evening for a quick pizza before going to the cinema. The restaurant was quite busy. We received our drinks after waiting 20 minutes however 3/4 hour later we still hadnt received our pizzas. We complained and were informed by the waitress that our pizza dough was just'being stretched' and shouldnt be long! Another customer was informed after complaining he had been waiting an hour, that they were 2 staff short. He was eventually refunded and had to go elsewhere.Our quick meal ended up being two drinks as we had to leave for the cinema without the pizzas.As we were seated near the serving area it was clear that the takeaway customers were priority as pizzas were constantly being boxed up. Very disappointed. Would not recommend

The food was lovely, but the service was abit rubbish. Took 20 mins to take our drinks order. Another 20 mins to take our food order. No smiles on the waitress' faces. Just abit average to be honest.

We were offered a meal deal, then when we paid the bill it wasn't applied, i made a complaint online ...after 6 email reminders, they finally rejected and said we were given pizzas outside the offer??

To be honest i didn't expect much from Pizza Hut but had a great visit. The staff were really nice and the foot was great. No complaints and i'll definitely use this restaurant again.

Service was very good, food was good, arrived in ok time all nice and hot. The only problem was it was so cold, they seem to have the air-con on cold on a cold evening. They did let us move to a slightly better table but with cold air-con it was just not quite as cold.

Ordered two individual pizza for the kids, three refillable drinks and and apple juice. The bill was £33.17, which I felt was a little steep considering how tiny the pizzas were.

Pizza was nice. But took a while to arrive. And it wasn’t busy so not sure why it took so long. Service as fine. But the waiter who took us to the table had a slight attitude when we asked to be seated in a booth. Salad bar was terrible. Needed filling. Clearly the kids had been add it putting spoons back in the wrong place. Croutons in the salad and in the sauces.

Visited with grandchildren and daughter. We all had the buffet which was ok. Salad ok. Staff were a bit uninterested and no one came to table to check everything was alright. Had to hunt for a server so I could pay. It filled a gap but wouldn't rush back.

We visited Saturday evening for a birthday meal for my son. There were 10 of us in total.

Stopped here for tea as the kids like it before we visited the cinema... menus are covered in sauces and food, tables the same.... went to the salad bar with my eldest.... the bowls were covered in old sauce and or mayo... I picked up 6 bowls all the same and handed them to 2 different members of staff... I said they might want to check the rest of them.... no answer... pizza was tasty enough but the cleanliness is far from acceptable for any restaurant.

Came here today with family for lunch. Friendly staff and good food but alcoholic drinks are expensive!! They offer a really quick payment system if you download an app which would be very handy in busy times to save hanging around for the bill.

This is possibly the worst Pizza Hut I have ever visited. I used to love the food from Pizza Hut but the last few times I’ve visited (I have went to this particular Pizza Hut each time) and the food has been shocking. The second time I went, I went with my friend for the buffet at around 12:30 in the afternoon, when we looked around there was around 3 slices of pizza left and the salad tasted disgusting. The most recent time I went with my parents and my younger sister. Me and my parents had a large pizza to share, which was actually quite nice, but my sister ordered macaroni cheese from the children’s menu as she’s only 10. As soon as she tasted it she pulled a face and pushed it away, when we asked her what was wrong, she said the cheese tasted weird. I tasted it to see what she was talking about, and the cheese tasted sour and like it was out of date! We didn’t have time to complain, as we was in a rush to get somewhere, but if I had time I definitely would of took it back and got my money back. That is the last time I will ever eat in Pizza Hut.

The pizza was decent but the dessert only had choc chip and no caramel cockiest dough. My friend enjoyed her pizza as did my mother so all together it was an ok visit.

Just 4 miles from the M1, Sixfields is one of my pit stop destinations for lunch on a long journey. Lots of venues and food choice and away from motorway fuel and food prices.

I took my daughter here for lunch. The place was clean, there was a nice ambience and the service was friendly and prompt. It's a Pizza Hut, so you know what you are getting and the food was good. However, the drinks were a rip-off. £5.68 for two diet cokes! They are refillable, but still.

Great place, Sunday night parking easy. Left car here to go to cinema, only a short walk and parking can be a problem at peak times, returned for a meal. Met at door promptly, taken to bench type table, table clean. Service good, polite, quick nothing was too much trouble. Easy meal, £50 for four I felt ok value, left stuffed with doggy bag also. Only down side, some cutlery and glasses not super clean, easily remedied as there were plenty of clean ones, guess the industrial dish washer under pressure :)

So it's not every day you get to eat vegan pizza in a major chain but Pizza Hut have finally started to stock it. Absolutely delicious and the staff were extremely helpful. Tasty pizza with delicious cherry soft drink that I'm in love with. Overall great prices and friendly staff. I'll be returning regularly, Thank you

What can you say but 'it's Pizza'. Slight;y different options from my local Pizza Hut takeaway. Service was efficient, pizza was okay.

Food arrived promptly, staff are friendly but the place could do with a bit of TLC. The salad bar was constantly filled with new items from the kitchen but some of the stuff they were putting out was clearly not fresh. The cucumber was all soft and horrible.

Nothing special about this one, same as every Pizza Hut in the country. The pizza is rotated well in the buffet so at least they are fresh and hot.

This is our preferred restaurant out of the two available in town. It's never too busy to get a table and that ensures good service and hot food served quickly.

I have to say as regular customers, the staff team are great. Nothing is too much trouble...... however....... what is going on in that kitchen? Our pizza was over cooked and dry. The base was rock hard and tough. Struggled to cut it. We didn't finish it and told the waitress why who did her best to resolve the issue by getting a decent bill reduction. We decided to salvage something from the meal and ordered dessert. The waffle came very quickly but the cookie dough turned up 5 minutes later by which time the waffle was half eaten. The chef's excuse was that the cookie dough takes longer to make...... so errr that's why we couldn't eat dessert together. Like I said before, the waiting staff are great and very good at their jobs but something is going on in that kitchen and this is happening more and more. Upset stomach? Oh yes.... all night long!

Nothing to really talk about here. Service was slow and food took ages to come out. Basic standard of food and cleanliness.

Why do most of the Duston restaurant/pub chains spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on their establishments and then they can't get somebody to produce good food/run the ship? Visited Pizza Hut today, where at least 4 of the main dishes on the salad bar are not available! Would be nice to know before you order!! The excuse was no Pizza Hut restaurants had those ingredients. Surely it is not hard to employ somebody in the respective establishments to produce a salad bar? Couldn't understand either why there was only one young member of staff trying to wait on all tables? Why was it so understaffed? Although we were shown to our table not long after entering the premises, we had to approach the waitress to take our order. She was rushed off her feet. Not her fault. As soon as I saw a senior member of staff I complained about the lack of choice on the salad bar (I even had to ask him for the thousand island sauce to be refreshed) then all the so called senior members of staff seemed to appear out of the woodwork!!! I asked the same member of staff what he was going to do about the final bill and he just waked off. I don't think he knew what to do or say? Most unprofessional. He did eventually get back to us to say he would knock the price of the drinks off the final total. It was something, but not very gracious, if you ask me. Unless this establishment changes its ways then I can see it going on a downward spiral very quickly. You need to get your act together pretty sharpish. This is another Duston restaurant chain I will not be frequenting.

I ordered two pizzas to collect. Collected them and got them home to find they were relatively cold and looked to have been cooked for some time. They also had burnt cheese on the bottom of them from possibly a dirty oven.Most of the pizza was thrown away and an email was written to customer services. To refund me thy sent me a £5 gift card as a gesture of good will. This was more of an insult than anything else. The manager of the restaurant then rang a few days after and apologised and agreed to send the rest of the money as a gift card. This has still not arrived and I doubt it ever will.I will NEVER be using this Pizza Hut again after this experience.

One of the best Pizza Hut meals I've had! Great team, friendly, good service and quick service. Manager seems to run a friendly, hardworking team. The kitchen were pretty busy so during our visit there was a few miss communications, but the team were one of the best I'd seen! The salad bar had a good variety and kept tidy, the whole restaurant was clean even during Friday evening. We had a sharing pizza special offer which was filling and nice to have additional sides. The chicken bites were lovely however the fries were left as they just tasted a bit weird, however we were already very full on pizza. The only downside was the "ice cream" factory as it's more like iced semi skimmed milk than icecream, shame there isn't an option to have proper ice cream. On the whole a fab modern Pizza Hut with lots of parking and seating available.

Firstly the pizza's we ordered were delicious. But my experience whilst waiting for them to arrive was pretty awful. I could write rems but the whole negetive experiance is down to management at the very top, they have young inexperienced staff, poorly supervised by an equally young shift manager. I witnessed a young waitress crying when she dropped plates, she was left to carry on waiting on tables whilst still visibly upset, nearly dropping more over customers as she was shaking so much, I witnessed other staff members sniggering about what had happened ( just young and naive) the manager was no where to be seen. Not one member of staff approached our table, I had to try and find staff each time we wanted to order. It's not cheap to eat here, so the customer should expect a high standard of service.

Although not amazing I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a good prices meal, personally I recommend that you get one of the buffet deals as this saves a lot of money compared to the normal set pizza and chips. This restaurant would have received a better rating from me if the salad bar had a cleaner area, overall I found it not clean and dirty.Overall I recommend coming here because of the alright price.

I don't eat pizza too often because my 'better half' isn't keen, so when I went to the cinema with my brother and his family, and they suggested a pizza first, I was more than happy! I loved it - and really went to town on the salad bar too! Incidentally, I think The Harvester salad bar gives better selection, although the one at Pizza Hut was more than adequate. Huge yummy pizzas, and very scrummy desserts - I'll be back, definitely!

Took my daughter and surprised at how quickly food was delivered. The salad bar was a little messy, enjoyed the various flavours of Pepsi, strawberry, lime and vanilla, pizza was delicious and my daughter enjoyed the ice cream factory. Very reasonably priced.

Pizza Hut, you know what you're getting but what made this visit great was the server and speed of service. Dropped in when both the football, rugby and the circus was on and we were in and out in an hour without being rushed. Pizza was great, service, thanks EmmaY, was fantastic....job done. Pizza Hut, does what it says on the tin!

We came here to meet with my mother in law as Northampton is halfway between us and we thought Pizza Hut was a nice easy option. My husband booked a table for us be t got recorded as 'no name' which we thought was a bit strange! Especially as he had given his name. My mother in law had spent around 5 mins waiting to be greeted and seated but no one came. We then arrived and still we waited! Out table was clean with plenty of cutlery. Drinks order taken then plenty of time to let us catch up and look at the menu. Salad bar was well stocked but almost all of the bowls were dirty. We let the waitress know and she apologised. Toilets were very clean and quiet too. The food took quite a while to arrive. That was fine for us because we could have a catch up and a chat and we were informed that our order was behind a large table which was nice to be informed of.

This is a good family restaurant. Not exactly cheap but the food is good. There are plenty of tasty pizza options on the menu including clearly marked vegetarian options. I have heard they claim to be vegan friendly but not being vegan myself, I forgot to check what was available for both vegan diners and those who require gluten-free options. I have since looked online but there is no information on the Pizza Hut website. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and has a busy, vibrant atmosphere.The staff are always friendly and very helpful.Not an à la cart restaurant of course but you visit a pizza restaurant to eat good pizza!

I was visiting My brother and his family on the 5/2/17 when we ended up in this particular Pizza Hut because everywhere else was busy. The only thing I can say about this place is filthy! The tables were greasy, the cutlery was dirty and the plates were on another level with dried leftover food on them. It was that bad my Mother cleaned her table, cutlery and plate with wet wipes and napkins before eating. Me on the other hand never touched any of it and ate with my fingers. Truly truly a revolting disgusting place and Pizza Hut need to up their game!!!!

Haven't been here for years. Great much needed refurbished. We had a 41% off voucher & I never feel you get the same quality food which seems to defeat the purpose.The place including salad bar was spotless. Kirsty our waitress was friendly and welcoming but they looked short staffed. We tried the triple pepperoni sharing pizza. Given we were paying only 59% of the price I didn't want to complain but the top & edges were burnt but it was edible. I come for the salad bar and ice cream factory. Both of these were clean & improved. The toilets were clean but there was no soap in the dispensers which staff put right immediately. For budget food it was fine but I've had better tasting pizza from Tesco

Went Saturday early evening salad bar was empty and filthy had to ask to it be cleaned , beer was flat. No senior staff poorly run

After leaving the Walter Tull due to poor service we were happy to be greeted with a smile and quickly shown to a table. Sadly they were out of the Rack of Ribs but we settled for a meaty pizza instead. Food arrived quickly and we were offered a complimentary coffee to finish our meal and a box to take our left overs home in. Always had good eating experiences at Pizza Hut over many years and love the new make over

Decided to visit after we couldn't see the film we wanted. Went for the buffet. However seriously lacking buffet pizza for over 15 mins. It was so bad that as soon as pizza was put put it was gone. Not sure what happened in the kitchen but not happy due to a hungry little boy!!!!

First of all I am not a trip advisor troll! This is an honest opinion. This particular branch I've been to twice. Pretty terrible each time. If you've never been before for the lunch buffet don't expect the staff to explain what the heck to do or whats included. They also don't explain that the desert area is extra and with a lack of any signage.. well my 3 kids helped themselves. This was obviously noticed and just added to the bill which was rather a surprise and bumped up the bill significantly! There is a really tiny area where pizza is presented.. in a busy lunch hour it goes in a flash.. i turned up, queued and was left with cold rock hard vegetable pizza and nothing else, and even that went out of sheer desperation! The staff then seemed to realise the issue and started to farm out the heavy duty pizza .. i.e no more thin crust but the very thick doughy variety to try and slow people down and fill them up.. fine if decent but.. very poor quality. ... all in all ... lunch was about 50 quid.. and I left thinking i could have paid that in a pub and had a really lovely meal.. or.. paid it in a take away pizza joint and had a really lovely pizza!

Can't fault Pizza Hut good choice of pizza and a great said bar, service is good and the food is always great tasting , never had a bad time here, gets a thumbs up.

Me and my 4 year old came here last weekend and i cant fault it. The service was lovely and the staff interacted with my son which was good. The food was delicious so hot and freshly cooked. We both had a great time.

Great welcome from the staff making us and our young child very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, chatty and friendly lady and gent working. Hot, fresh pizza, and fresh salad bar all for £6.99...great lunch and we will be visiting again. Thank you :)

I don't know why I agree to go here, the glasses like all Pizza Huts are always grubby with greasy finger prints on, the salad bar is limited and covered in trails of food left by children. Pepsi machine had no Pepsi max and the service wasn't forthcoming. Not going again.

I just spent more than £50 on pizza from this Pizza Hut store. Considering how much I spent, I expected more than I got in terms of quality. One of the sides (crisps and sauce) was cold and congealed and lacking in sauce. One of the pizzas was incredibly unpleasant in consistency and was seriously lacking in cheese. Not very happy.

Haven't been here for a while but we came here short notice as we was meant to go coast to coast but was far to expensive. I can say I have never had a bad meal here, the staff are very friendly and the pizzas are great.

Called here for lunch and was impressed at value.Choice of salad bar, pizza and pasta. Eat as much as you want.I particularly like the refillable soft drinks. Staff were attentive and helpful.A good place for a value lunch.

Pizzas were lovely and everyone enjoyed what they had. My only criticism would be the pictures on the wall are covered in dust, salad bowls at salad bar were mainly dirty, it was like a game to find the clean bowl, same for the knives and forks on the table.

I love the salad bar, which is what I usually go for. The atmosphere there was good and the service was also good with no delays. Loved it

Nothing special about this Pizza Hut. We had the lunch buffet on a Tuesday - regular run of the mill Pizza Hut chain. Would recommend the pasta salad mixed with lettuce and the milkshakes are always good. They could improve their pizza/garlic bread making times for the buffet - it was empty for a long time.

Had a really nice visit here, staff were nice and the pizza we ordered was spot on, we also had BBQ spare ribs as a starter which were tasty, we also ordered the cheesy chips which for us were nasty, the coating was so salty and the cheese was squirty which was nasty, I guess some might like that kind of thing but that starter let them down for us.Nice and clean and once you ordered a soft drink all other soft drinks after that are free which is an honest thing to do as you can only drink so much.Nice visit, would go back.

I had the special deal of pizza and extras for 9.99 (I think).Good value and tasty.I asked for spicy and it was a burner. Would repeat.

Waitress very cheerful and speedy service. Free salad bar a bonus, probably ate a bit too much as I didn't manage to eat all the pizza. Ordered the thin margarita pizza with onion. Very tasty with plenty of mozzarella. Decent value

I went there yesterday with my family and the service was really good. The food was awesome and the salad was perfect. The drinks machine is so cool you can have the original drink and you can have different flavored ones 2.

Not happy salad was stale pizzas were cold poked as tho it had been left to get cold before serving other guests had kids running around the resturant
