We did not receive this order atall- not sure if it was delivered to the wrong address? Not very happy atall- will not order again!

A lovely evening spent at this Pizza Express last night. Excellent service from the team, particularly from Yozen, and some delicious food from their summer menu, inclusive of their new cocktail range. Lovely, quaint building, which complimented the atmosphere.

Our waitress Yozen was amazing! Lovely meal in a nice building.

Pizza was cold . Wasn’t heat proof bag as per previous deliveries

Honestly can't express how much I needed that pizza. Went down without touching the sides, and all round very pleased with the experience. Will do it again lord willing

We went to pizza express this evening. It was lovely up until the waitress spilt my iced tea all over me. There were shards of glass all over. I had to pick a shard of glass of me and put it on the table. Then to cap it all off I still got charged for the drink. I also had a tiny cut on my finger from a bit of glass. There was no offer to take the drink of the bill. The waitress was very apologetic but to still get charged for the drink is unacceptable

We had a fantastic experience at Pizza Express Northampton! To start, we shared the Hot Honey Dough Balls — absolutely amazing. The sweet dough paired with a subtle kick of heat made them a perfect opener. Highly recommend trying them! For mains, my partner had the La Reine and loved it, while I went for the BBQ Burnt Ends pizza — it was incredible. The flavours were rich and smoky, and I’d definitely order it again. This spot is absolutely on our list for a return visit. A special shoutout to our server, Camelia, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well looked after throughout the meal. Would highly recommend this branch — great food and excellent service!

Absolutely awful food. Recieved around 6 repulsive polento chips. Buttermilk chicken strips cold and barely cooked. Wouldnt waste your money.

Visited twice now in 6 weeks and I've been thoroughly underwhelmed on both occasions. The staff are good, the atmosphere is what you'd expect but the food is bang average at best. A chicken dish on the first visit was underwhelming but the pizza on the second visit was worse. Sheer size seemed to be expected to make up for toppings and ingredients, and sadly it ate worse than my own efforts at home.

Great pre theatre meal, acknowledged as soon as we stepped in the door. Our server Camelia was very friendly and helpful! Helped me make decide my order by suggesting a half and half! I don’t eat cheese and very often my pizza comes with cheese despite ordering without. This came without first time! Swift service , great tasting pizzas . 2 for £10 cocktail made with less ice as requested also! Good experience would recommend.

Told to collect my order in 15 mins waited a further 25 mins then arrived home to find no garlic butter for my dough balls!!

Had a great experience thanks to our server, Camelia. Was incredibly helpful. Not only was she quick and efficient, but she also took the time to recommend a few great options from the menu. Her suggestions were spot on 🤩 Camelia’s friendly attitude and excellent service truly made our visit special. Five stars

I only popped in for a coffee this evening, but while I was there the staff were nothing short of welcoming, polite and friendly, and I get the same service every single time. Pizza Express has pretty much become my local coffee spot haha! (Though I do pop in for food too, it's delicious) Thank you for being awesome and keep on doing so, you're all doing an amazing job! ^^ Edit: 5/4/2025 all I can really do is edit the review 😂 but had met Dimitar today, lovely gentleman, so patient with me and my littlun, wonderful service and always a pleasure eating in restaurant. Also tried the Pollo Italiano special today, I'm going to have to order that again.... Thank you guys for continuing to be awesome 😎

iam waiting for 2 hours just for 2 pollo pesto pasta and now ia put on the bin because cold food ia not recommended theas restaurant

A mid value meal. Surroundings were pleasant. Server was friendly and polite and made sure everything was OK. Service was timely. We treated ourselves to 3 courses, coffee, and a glass of wine each. Meatballs and chicken goujons to start. Reine and Fiorentina pizza fir main and then the mini pudding and coffee for dessert. We used tesco vouchers which made the cost reasonable otherwise it would have been a bit expensive against comparative establishments. Food was good quality, tasty, and well presented. Would recommend.

We had a delightful lunch here on a Sunday. The team were extremely welcoming and attentive and the food was exactly as expected from Pizza express. Really tasty and well made. We are not local to Northampton, but were meeting friends. So when you have young children we needed something that is generally consistent and the children know. The team did a great job for us, thank you.

We celebrated our daughters birthday at Pizza express. Everything was amazing, the staff very friendly, the food- fresh and tasty, the kids enjoyed making their own pizza. Big thanks for everything and highly recommend this restaurant. 👌🏻👌🏻

The staff were brilliantly helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and delivered really quickly which was exactly what we needed. We were really grateful they listened to that so that we didn't miss our workshop afterwards!

Came for valentines. The cocktails were nice and well worth the price! Unfortunately they didn’t have any cognac when it’s on the menu. They need to increase their range of spirits! Served by a nice chap upstairs. There was a long wait between courses and the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. The staff that bring the food up from the kitchen didn’t even know the table numbers, so would just stand around waiting for help, which is slightly awkward. Nice food apart from the mozzarella sticks were literally soaked and dripping in oil… yuck! And there was also some blue paper towel floating in my drink… I did make the server aware but would have been nice if they took it off the bill or something

Food was good and service. However I receive a voucher for free desert for my birthday. On the voucher doesn't say which desert. Order Francesco Affogato from desert menu and it's not valid...how come it's the same price as others . Really disappointed. Wouldnt be rushing back based on this. False advertising. I would order it otherwise...

Order not delivered. Driver called and had incorrect address, pizza express said to contact just eat-no contact details for them!! Ordered at 6.50 & at 8.50pm driver called & had wrong address! No help and no food…very unhappy -ZERO STARS

First time ordering from pizza express and although the food was nice the time it took was way too long it kept changing and going up and up. We have young children waiting, such a shame as I had high hopes.

Food was not delivered even though it was marked as delivered. Tried to contact customer service and was told that it was delivered to a “safe place” and that the driver tried to make contact several times. Neither of these were true and JustEat are refusing to provide any evidence of the alleged contact or proof of delivery. Now I am left out of pocket without even and acknowledgement from customer service (or lack of). Shocking service and will not be using the platform again.

Just received our food. So disappointed. For the amount we paid even with the discount, the meatball pasta bolognese was burned on the top, macaroni was tasteless and pizza was definitely not size stated.

Absolutely dreadful £45 for cold, uncooked pizza

Shocking!!!! Delivery driver basically drove round Northampton before putting our food over the boundary fence near my house saying ‘it’s not my fault’. Coke boiling, all the food cold and all the boxes damaged. 0/10!!!!

Excellent customer service I had in the Northampton Derngate location with food quality 100% tasteful. Now I am addicted to Pizza Express Pizza only much.

1st order was never actually received by Pizza Express despite it saying it was. It was only when I called Pizza Express direct they said it had not been received so I had to be cancel and re-order. The 2nd order seemed to take for ages to actually be ready for delivery and it seemed the driver was on his way, lost location and then was no where near my house. Then back online. It was delivered eventually but not hot. Very disappointing.

Our only criticism is the le reine pizza only had 6 olives on it and my GF base was slightly undercooked. The GF dough balls and GF chicken wings were 10/10!!!!

Ordered a vegan pizza and it came without the vegan cheese. So all that showed up was bread and onions. If I was told they ran out of the vegan cheese I would’ve ordered something else

Rude and Racist Staff at Pizza Express I am appalled by the treatment we received at Pizza Express. The staff told us to “wait outside and don’t come in until we say so,” and their dismissive attitude only worsened once we were seated. It was clear they treated us differently from other customers, and it felt like outright racism. They ignored us, acted annoyed at any request, and made us feel completely unwelcome. I am disgusted by this experience and will never return. Avoid this place if you expect respect and fair treatment.

Pizza didnt have any sauce in it, for double pepperami pizza it had very few on it, pizza doah was tough, and not even cut into slices we had to pull it apart, petty much the same with the build your own

We had yet another delicious pizza cooked by Ryan at Pizza Express Northampton. Camelia provided great service, attentive and friendly and her suggestion of Tiramisu for pudding was pefect. It's a great place to grab great food right by the theatre and film house.

was a bit cold when it got here

As a regular user of Pizza Express in several towns I know pretty much how it all works as far as service and quality go. Northampton is no different, we'd booked our table online and on arrival were shown to our table and our drinks order was taken. We ordered food shortly afterwards and it soon came out, well presented and piping hot just as we'd come to expect at other outlets. Staff were very pleasant and super quick getting a second round of drinks etc. And as a footnote I'd like to say that as a Blue Light card holder, you never have to tell them you'll be claiming a discount until you pay, so no reduced portion sizes just because you're not paying the published price. Excellent all round and I certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a decent quick meal when in the area,

pizza under cooked, chips cold and under cooked.

Bland, over priced. A slither of cake for £7 is a joke. The sauce pot was tiny and came half filled. Potato chips were half cooked. Really dropped in quality and over priced in that regard. Disappointing.

I never got the food and app says delivered???. order was initially for 5pm delivered and 2 hours late and then says delivered yet not delivered ???

Pizza and Bruschetta arrived completely cold by delivery guy on bike. Need to reheat everything, and that's changeythe taste of foos.Bruschetta was completely messed insided. I'm not ordering fresh pizza to eat it like from next day.

ordered mac and cheese off just eat, craftily changed order to being prepared so i still had to be charged nearly 20 quid out of pocket, even though i had been called personally by the restraunt to be told they had no mac and cheese (never said that on the website) will be taking legal action...

I originally placed my order at 7:30pm, Just Eat originally gave an expected delivery time between 8:15-8:35. This was pushed back 5 minutes at a time until it said 9pm! I tried numerous times to call the restaurant, to no avail as either they had an issue with their phone line or the staff were pretending they couldn’t hear me! When eventually arrived, the driver said he had been waiting for 45 minutes at the restaurant as they only begun cooking when he arrived! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

food was barely warm when it arrived...cold soggy pizza not ideal and lately it seems that all orders with pizza express are not warm enough..😕

We had our intimate wedding reception at Pizza Express and can't thank the staff enough for helping make our day so special. The food, as always, was fabulous and the service couldn't have been better...everyone was very friendly and professional. A big thank you to Jack and Tiana who helped us set this up and were our lovely servers on the day. We were given the upstairs space to ourselves and allowed to decorate as much as we liked which just added to the atmosphere of our day. Thank you again!!

Pizza didn’t taste cooked & crusty was far too chewy. The potato salad seemed frozen. Haven’t tried the other two items yet.
