Pizza Hut in South Bucks

The melts are awful absolutely. The porting is probably the size of one slice of pizza. No sauce in the melt cheese and bread rock hard like a pitta that’s been in the toaster for three hours. Two slices of pepperoni and covered in salt that’s all I could taste. Nothing about this is a melt

Pizzas were awful. Completely tasteless and very expensive. Starters were ok . But I wouldn’t bother buying again. Truly awful.

Ordered a pizza this evening with my choice of toppings, The lid of the box had them all.. pizza was not sliced. Thought I would just write a review instead of calling to complain but the customer service from this establishment is just as good as the pizza that was just delivered..

I haven't been in this Pizza Hut for about 18 months. At that time they had just started having to order at the counter, which as we had a party of 14 was a pain! Tried it again with two grandchildren - same ordering system,, but easier for three. One grand daughter and I had the buffet, while the youngest had cheesy pasta from the child's menu. The restaurant was not very busy and had a minimum of staff. The pizza on the buffet was hot and replenished quickly. The salad bar was also always full. The cheesy pasta arrived promptly and was thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is, however let down by the awful ordering system, it worked this time as the place wasn't busy, but I dread to thinkl how long it takes during busy periods.

OK - I appreciate Pizza Hut is a great cheap eat for the school holidays but this place takes the biscuit. Full capacity with only two staff in the restaurant. The manager appeared reluctant to leave the till and one waitress is running around not knowing if she’s on her backside or her elbow. 1 the buffet and salad bar were empty. When one solitary pizza arrived everyone swarmed like ants 2 tables remained uncleared, which after half an hour became totally unappetising 3 the till based manager was so intent on putting telephone orders through it took 15 minutes to pay In the end I saw people demanding their money back. It was a joke and the manager should be embarrassed.

Absolutely dreadful. Buffet food very rarely was replenished, the entire establishment was dirty and tables were never cleared

What a let down. Haven’t been to Pizza Hut in a while. You have to queue to order both food and drinks, which means that once you’ve finished your first drink you can either decide to queue for another 20 minutes behind everyone ordering their dinner or just go without. The restaurant itself is grubby and horrible. Food was quite nice, and well priced but ruined by everything else.

£20 gets you 2 excellent medium pizzas and 2 sides of batteries chicken pieces and potato wedges. And free delivery!!!!

Went here to collect my vegan pizza and the staff were so damn rude! One staff member with blonde hair was blaming me for my pizza being cold & a girl with a head scarf was on her mobile during her shift. No apologises for making us wait ages for a pizza I was told was ready.

Poor service, quite rude. The place was full off children screaming and crying. But i have been waiting forever for my pizzas, this is supposed to ve fast food!!

Very slow service, had to wait 45 minutes for 2 pizzas and only got excuses when asked why it's taking so long. Pizzas were very greasy and rubbery-tasting. The buffet had very few choices and had to wait quite a long time for them to stack up the buffet. Also, definitely not cheap, we paid almost 50 pounds for 3 people and the food was not worth of that much money. You can get better food for half the price in some of the local pubs! On the plus side, the salad buffet with several dressings was good!

Situated next door to the Odeon and close to the station, this branch is in a good location. Quite a big branch with lots of seating. Service can be good or mediocre, just depends on who serves you. Food is as expected and prices are pretty reasonable.

I went there on Saturday for lunch. Well, the service was poor and the staff was arguing among themselves in from of customers. We all starting looking at them. Food was served cold , although they warned it up when asked to do so. Manager and young staff need training.

First visit in a year. This was a pre booked family gathering (10 of us). We did the same last year and were very pleased. What a change! Now instead of being shown to a table, drinks order placed and then a waiter or waitress coming back for your food order; all very civilised you now have to go to the 'Order' counter with your requirements. Part of our group went up first to place their orders but the order couldn't be placed on a 'tab' for the others to be added. So we ended up writing down our order so we could do it all in one as it was my treat! We then went to the salad bar which was OK, nothing special. Waited for our order to arrive. The restaurant wasn't busy considering it was a Saturday lunch time and there appeared to be three staff on duty. Part of the order arrived with some starters and sides. We waited and more sides arrived but no more mains. After some time I went and enquired where the rest of the order was. The not very friendly waitress opened up the hatch and low and behold there was our food! How long it would have stayed there if I hadn't gone up I do not know. This was delivered and then some other sides arrived! The food was good, the only reason the review rates as high as an 'Average.'. Those who wanted desserts, that had already been ordered then had to return to the counter to arrange; no waiting staff asking if you were ready for desserts. These were served in a hap hazard way. Some of our dirty plates were removed but others were still there when we left. There was no word of thanks etc. when we left. I usually have sympathy for staff when they are quite clearly under pressure, but the poor service was down to individuals, NOT inadequate staffing levels. Needless to say the tip I might have given normally remained in my pocket! I don't know who the changes benefit but it certainly isn't the customer. I will think twice about returning as part of a group. (On reflection I have changed my rating to poor as thinking about it again, the whole experience didn't reach average!

We don’t expect haut cuisine at Pizza Hut, just reasonably priced quick and easy food. My pizza was swimming in grease, apparently, despite having lots of pepperoni pizza previously it is acceptable to serve sodden pizza to paying customer And you can’t have refund anymore either!

Pizza Hut was always a great go-to place with the children. Hot pizza, and salad at a very reasonable price - perfect.

I am VERY! Upset I have ordered my pizza at 9:45 it NEVER arrived I am very disappointed and hungry beyond compare!! I will never use Pizza Hut again and I now have no food in my house to eat that will satisfy me. I have waited all day to have this pizza and now I am heartbroken and living a pizzaless life thank to YOU, I will now only ever use dominos unless I eat all you can eat because I’m fat and lonely. I am now in a strops and shall ruin the evening and I am also very hangry due to no food and lots of exercise. Ordered two cajun chicken pizzas today but they came with plain chicken. I thought they'd made a mistake so rang them up. The staff on the phone confirmed that I did indeed order cajun chicken sizzlers, but put me on hold. He then informed me that they no longer do cajun chicken although the website still sells it?? When I told him I wouldn't have ordered cajun chicken pizzas if I knew this, he simply said sorry and that it's been updated now. Bit late I'd say. Obviously not going to order from them again. (Also they were still selling "cajun" chicken pizza at the time this review was written.)

This is now the 3rd time I have gone to the Buffet bringing guests with exactly the same issue. Every time there are only thick base pizzas on offer with the exception of a very spicy vegetable on being thin base. I requested for a couple of thin based to which the manager replied that there would be wastage if they cooked more at this time (13.55??). Eventually he put in an order for a thin base as there was space to which a thick base arrived Instead. When I complained the nice blonde waitress with a foreign accent put through an order. Eventually a thin based arrived and more thick bases too? I was not the only one as I saw a customer also complain & he was told it takes 10 minutes for a Pizza which is not true as being in that industry prior I know it takes less than 5 minutes to prep & cook a Pizza . In the entire 1 & a half hour we were there only 3 Thin base were available! I waited until the end and as expected there were around 5 unwanted thick base pizzas wasted. If I were the Manager I would have gone around to each table (There were only around 5) & asked my customers what style & flavour they would like in order to make them happy & minimise wastage. Maybe it is a Pizza Hut Marketing ploy for customers to get full quicker Im not sure?

Visited during our stay / visit to Legoland. The food was great, served promptly. The staff were friendly, helpful with the meerkat voucher and also giving us tips about Legoland highly recommend.

We went for lunch before visiting the cinema. Great service & we left feeling very full! Great that you can help yourself to as much salad as you want.

Probably one for the kids, but the large sharing pizza are good value at circa £16.95, with bottomless soft drinks at £2.85. The Maidenhead branch on Grenfell Island is well situated next to the Odean Cinema. Good location for a kids party after a kids club 11:00am film next door.

Had a couple of medium pizzas last night with garlic bread. Extremely disappointed that they had no dips provided... best bit...

Placed an order at Maidenhead Pizza Hut at ten to three in the afternoon for a 5.45pm delivery. It finally turned up at 6.05pm barely warm, no apology from the delivery agent. Will not use again.

Absolutely fabulous meal. I loved the flatbread low calorie option & my daughter loved her pizza. The salad bar was very good with lots of options and fresh & clean. Laura, our waitress was very friendly, fast and helpful. Definitely be back.

Visited here for food before cinema, knew it was busy Saturday with kids parties. Pizzas where excellent but the chips tasted like McCain oven chips overpriced, service was slow but pleasant

The Maidenhead branch of Pizza Hut is conveniently located next to the Odeon Cinema on Grenfell Island. First visit for a while and was pleasantly surprised with the kids hero menu. For £7.45 you can get a small pizza, side, salad, drink (normal refillable one), and dessert. For £2.00 less you can lose the side. Even better, they will let you have this as an adult for a £2.00 premium. Overall great value !

Visited with the family for a family Sunday lunch. Had tried to book earlier as we were a largeish group but the waitress on the phone explained that Sunday lunch was very quiet anyway. Soon found a table for our group. Service was swift. Extensive menu - not just pizzas.We all had pizza of differing types and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. Desserts were also very good, especially the ice cream. It's a long time since I've been in a Pizza Hut but will try and not have such a gap between visits.PS the address as listed is wrong it is Unit 3, Grenfell Place (next to the Odeon cinema)

We visited this restaurant, it was completely empty and got seated straight away, being the only customers in there me and my other half thought the service would of been quick and good (we work in hospitality) we ordered drinks that took ten minutes to come and then when we finished our meal it took another five to be taken away even though the waitress was watching, 5 star for food but 1 star for customer service as the waitress was very awkward and also told us we couldn't have discount even though we had a voucher!

We had a party for twelve six and seven year olds, just a message to say a huge thank you to Anna and Al who provided very happy and helpful service throughout. We had pre-ordered the food as we had a cinema booking, the food came out quickly, the kids were very happy and the ice-cream machine was a huge hit!!Thank you for making my son's party so easy and enjoyable!!Emma :)

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Terrible terrible service. 2 waitresses dealing with around 8 tables.... One on each side if the restaurant whilst the 3rd was busy refilling smarties for the icecream machine. Waited 10mins before they took our order and then 30mins for the food. The menu was very misleading. The waitresses didn't advise that one of the pizza was only for one person rather than too. Terrible service. Was full with the salad by the time the food arrived. Will not be visiting any pizza hut if this is the standard of service they provide!

We had a lovely family meal with tasty food and great service. The waitress even offered advice on sights to see. She was extremely friendly and helpful.

Despite the shortage of staff - the service was excellent. Food was well cooked and exactly as we had ordered. The waitress was excellent and friendly. The restaurant is big and very modernised - excellent visit

So a 45 minute wait for any food, over cooked pizza, under cooked sides, poor poor quality. Apparently all the customers turned up at once!

Get what you get really. Decent enough and friendly staff. Ideally if you're going for lunch go a little bit later just to ensure they've actually got food ready to eat ...

Been coming here for ages...food is still good, well priced. Waitress was a little pushy on going for the meal deal when we weren't that hungry but another waitress was great, going round with free try me milkshakes which were great!

Best pizzas in maidenhead, good delivery service, far far better than the crap you get from dominoes

Not my restaurant of choice, but the large pizza to share with one or two kids at circa £14.99 is good value, especially as a trip to the salad bar is included. A handy venue to combine a cinema visit given the Odean close by.

Had dinner here the other night after around 7.30pm. Restaurant was almost empty apart from a few tables, mostly adults and small kids. The individual pizza size is quite small but the dough was very fresh, the toppings a little scarce but again fresh ingredients.Free salad with mains - always a good thing.

This would've been a 4 but lack of staff really let it down. There's was 1 staff most of the evening and second waitress was in and out. I appreciate it was a weekday, but there was about 7/8 tables and one waitress running between them. Felt like I had to fight to get attention. Good was good as always, Kids loved the different flavours at the drinks machine. Dessert excellent as always.

This is an ok place. It's basically what you would expect from Pizza Hut but the service puts it below my expectations. The food isn't too bad - it's largely ok and if you have an issue you get it rectified. The service is what pulls the place down in my eyes.

This pizza hut has commendable service and amazing food this restaurant lies right next to the odeon cinema in Maidenhead town centre and is an absolutely fantastic spot to eat before or afterwards.

Tried calling to preorder takeaway but the ignorant staff had no concept of phone manners or customer service and I should have known then to stop and go elsewhere. But I didn't and went anyway to order takeaway from inhouse. Again the staff are untrained and lack any concept of customer service.Ordering 5 takeaway pizza 4 were very greasy and the 5th just average. I should have known better than to order mass produced franchised food....Less than desirable experience so happy to only eat once every few years after a massive night and equally large hangover ...........

Return visit to Pizza Hut today for the lunchtime buffet which was £6.99 for adults and £3.99 for children. Felt like a good idea but it is actually a bit of a false economy when the large pizzas are only £14.99 and suitable for two adults and a child. Never the less, OK for an occasional visit and a great venue for kids parties following a cinema visit next door.

The appeal was the salad bar so I went in here after work to get a pizza and some salad, whilst hooking in the the free wifi you can 'see' from the nearby Odeon. Ordered the basic pepperoni and anchovy. What arrived looked a little flat and sad but the real issue was the amount of grease / oil. The pizza was oozing grease through the base onto the bit of slate that it had arrived on. And taking a slice, folding it and taking a bite reinforced this because oil started dripping out the end.Not a pizza to enjoy.Service? The team have a tendency to huddle up over in the corner so it means standing up and going to get them. Not very attentive, I suspect they're not very well paid.

Haven't been to PH for 20 years. I have very fond memories. So as it was Easter Sunday and every restaurant in the towncentre appeared closed we ventured into PH. First impressions very good. Really nice welcome and service from the lady on duty. Menu looked impressive. Had a salad which was OK but then the flood arrived. OMG. had ordered a couple of sides fries and onion rings. I kid you not these were frozen ovencooked both products burnt one side. The embarrassed waitress took them away and off the bill. Then the Pizzas arrived. Without exaggeration the £1.99 frozen pizza from any supermarket looks and tastes the same as the pizza they serve here. The embarrassed waitress took them off the bill. We paid for drinks. At least the self serve soda machine was ok. Seriously. What a disappointment. Never again

Visited this restaurant for nephews 6th birthday with a large mixed group, pre booked table to be safe. Fantastic welcome, Loradena our waitress (apologies if misspelled), was superb and looked after the whole party with attention to detail and a smile for everyone, with good humour and effortless patience.The food was great, wine and deserts well worth the price, definitely dine there again soon, thank you.

Service was ok. Pizza was not what I remember from Pizza Hut. Pizza was tasteless and the salad bar was poor, plenty to choose from but it wasn't kept very well, there was bits of lettuce in the peppers etc etc, and the spoons for the dressings were all sticky and drips of other dressings in the mayo etc.

It has been many years size I have visited a Pizza Hut. It was a treat as a boy, and judging by the number of kids in the restaurant, it remains a treat. What is it like as an adult?Decor is pleasant and cheerful, with the Kandinsky prints throughout the restaurant a nice touch, although the place feels a little work out. Service was good, and our waitress was very nice. Sadly, they only accept cash tips, so we couldn't tip properly here.The menu is familiar from the delivery menu, and I decided to try a pizza I did not recognise - maybe a new item - the Texas Meat Meltdown. On a thin base, it was disappointing - the (presumably) chorizo was dry and hard, and the chicken was dry too. There was little spicy heat in the pizza, although the spicy sausage was pleasant enough. I really do not understand the obsession with putting chicken on a pizza, as dry, flavourless meat is the inevitable consequence.The complimentary salad from the salad bar was nice enough, with fresh and preserved salad items available. The soft drinks are handled through a self-service post-mix machine, where, for a bit of fun you can add "shots" of extra syrup, such as lime or vanilla to alter your Pepsi - quite fun, and a nice touch.My rating of 3 is based on service and expectations. It is a family friendly, medium-low end pizza place, and reasonably priced for that. The pizza itself was not great, but there was enough to justify this rating otherwise.

Not my choice of restaurant, but a reasonably priced option if you have children. The large pizzas at circa £15 are sufficient for 2/3 and with drinks at circa £2.50 2/3 can eat for £20-£25(the salad bar is included). There is not much variation in Pizza Hut service, with the Maidenhead branch staff pleasant enough. Location is great if you are visiting the Odeon cinema as it's next door - this makes it popular for kids cinema & pizza parties (especially combined with the Odeon Kids Club screening at 11:00).
