Papa John's Pizza in South Bucks

Extremely poor service, once again the delivery was late. No contact from delivery drivers, they always have very poor English or they don’t call to say they are running late. I thought for once that the could be professional in there service. I want a refund!!!

Please avoid this company they take orders and payment they no they can't for fill and will cancels 2 hours later not caring how this affects the customers And are very rude about it at the same time not caring If the food does turn up its cold I don't leave bad reviews easily and this has happened more then ones hence the review

Every time I got good experience

Second time ordering online directly from Papa Johns Gerard’s Cross. Similar to last time the service has been atrocious. No delivery or update received for an hour and a half after placing delivery. Called the store both times and was told they are waiting for a driver and to “just wait another half an hour” with no assurance that the food will actually be delivered in that time frame. Appalling customer service both times. Will not be ordering from here again. Save yourself the hassle and order elsewhere.

Still waiting for it to arrive! I ordered hot food because I’m disabled, the village has a power cut and I have no access to heating, hot drinks or food. I am diabetic and my glucose is currently 4.3. This is an emergency and I can’t even contact the restaurant.

Ordered 2 pizza and a starter from GX store. All items were vegetarian Upon collection, the items were handed over to me. No mention of any issues I get home and we start eating only to realise the vegetarian starter I had ordered were swapped with chicken dippers! Why would you do this and not call me or tell me upon collection?? As a lofe long vegetarian, this was totally unacceptable. I called but no answer so out of anger I returned to the store to ask what happened. To my surprise, I am faced busy staff who couldn't care less. They tell me they ran out of jalapeño cheese for starter so they replace with chicken? What's the logic? And what makes you decide what to replace with? I am not offered a refund. I am shown very little sympathy e.g. while I am complaining the staff just stare at the order board looking at incoming orders rather than dealing with my issue. Am not given anything in compensation I email customer service who apologise, tell me they will train their staff (am I really going to believe this??) and offer me a free starter for my troubles? A starter that I have paid for and got chicken which I couldn't eat. A starter for making me take a bit of chicken when I hadn't eaten meat my entire life? Pathetic service to say the least. I would stay away there are far better pizza in GX...better to pick up from Tesco across the road!

I had an unpleasant experience with the customer service at Papa John’s Pizza in Gerrards Cross. The lady working during the 5 PM shift was unfriendly, which made the interaction uncomfortable. While the food itself was fine, good customer service plays an important role, and this experience left a negative impression. I hope the management looks into this to ensure a more welcoming approach in the future.

It’s a shame how I had to ring the shop not once, but twice to find out where my order was and both times I was told that the driver had just left the shop and would be with me in 15-20 minutes. When I called the shop for the second time, the same young girl answered the phone, was very rude and said “I told you that he would be there in 15-20 minutes.” When I corrected her and said that she said that on my previous call, she denied this claim until I asked to speak to her manager.

Absolutely disgusted! Ordered food and called as it was 30 minutes late, to be told it was on its way! Over an hour later and the shop was closed!! Still no food but they happily took my money!! Then closed up shop! No refund and no food!!!

It's no longer any large pizza for £9.99 on collection. Now it's a medium pizza for £9.99. Obviously 1 star for that.

I have ordered from papa johns but they are so unprofessional’s and have my food delivered to a different address and also talked so rudely both staff member and delivery driver . Will never order from them again .

Ordered at 9.10pm - called at 10.15pm after food was already 10 minutes late to be told we’ve got one driver another 50 minute wait. It will be delivered by 11pm. Not the customers fault you can’t deliver on your commitments. Not great service really as a paying customer I shouldn’t be the one to suffer because they can’t provide the service being paid for. Especially when they charge for delivery.

They’re so quick and efficient, the food is always nice and hot and the staff is lovely. Thank you!

I ordered my pizza at 10.15pm. was supposed to be delivered by 11.10pm. but no show. on the app the status was delivered. but I never received it and nobody to answer the phone. very disappointed

Utterly incompetent staff who have no idea what customer service is. Phoned after no sign of my delivery 90 minutes after ordering - got told they had delivered it so nothing they could do. After multiple phone calls to the driver and the store staff they finally offered to remake my pizza. Pizza finally arrived 2 and a half hours after ordering and was almost raw as had clearly been rushed. No offer of refund. Will never order from you again.

Thought I’d give it ago even with all the bad reviews as I was hungry. No sign of the food turning up. No one answers the phone. Piss poor. I made the order via Uber eats and there is no tracking history as they use their own drivers. Awful service. I will never use again. There is reason for the bad reviews.

The second worst pizza I have ever had in my life -the the worst being a frozen one bought from a communist supermarket in Bulgaria. Horrendous quality and chewy base (plus you can actually taste the sugar inside of the bread), disgusting topping, impossible to know what the ingredients are and the company should be embarrassed to be serving this for human consumption. The service wasn't much better. Avoid.

Not the first time, always take an hour to deliver at least, If you go into the shop it takes 10 mins max. Whats the point of having delivery if you….. can’t deliver?

Tried to order on line done all of my choices then went to check out and said could not deliver to me so couldn’t complete order. I don’t live in Birmingham and won’t let me change postcode. So rang up and they said they can’t give me same deal as they do online but only a 20% discount. My order would then be more money that what it would be online. You need to sort this out as you have now lost a sale. I normally enjoy papa johns

Thought I would try Papa Johns instead of our usual Domino's - what a mistake! It was my daughters birthday party and I ordered 5 XXL pizzas. Placed the order online and then 10 minutes later tried calling the Gerrards X branch to see if they were ready to collect. No one answered so tried again. Again, no one answered so tried again, still no answer. Decided to just go there and found the pizza's had been sat there for a while. They were cold and chewy and the meat pizza's (Philly cheese and chicken fajita) had very little meat. At the end of the party, we still had 2.5 pizza's leftover which speaks volumes!

This branch always has the best deals, we consistently enjoy our food from Papa John's GX, can't fault them.

Placed a large order online for a party. The pizzas arrived on the time I requested and the 9 pizzas were hot and perfect! The delivery guy was super helpful! Thank you!

It was up to an hour late. Items were missing ( for which I have been reimbursed) but the pizza was so dry and curled up and the cookie dough biscuit pudding was burnt and crispy. Practically inedible. The shops response was ‘ I hope you enjoyed your food’. I hate writing a poor review as people work hard in the delivery:take away business but this was unacceptable. The cauliflower dish was nice.

Useless customer service. I ordered a Double pepperoni pizza Sunday night - and asked for two toppings, was charged for two toppings, yet only received one of the topping I paid for. The young lady(Sunday night) that served me didn’t even know how to print me a receipt, super polite and I actually felt sorry for her that she couldn’t even complete a simple task. I went back Monday evening as the food options around here were less than to be desired and was told at 22:40 “I am closed, I’ve cleaned and I should have come before 22:45!”, regardless that I actually did, (please see the time stamp on my photo), I then saw the sign on the door that boasted about closing at 11pm. Any idiot that owns this franchise, surely would capitalise on the fact they are next door to a cinema and train the rude women accordingly! What a joke

Took 1 hour 10 mins to deliver. I paid extra for a topping and not on pizza. I asked for one ingredient to not be on the pizza and it is on the pizza! Shocking

would never buy from here ever, My neighbour bought food from you, I am the innocent person who your driver damage my property by poor driving, and no one is helping me rectify the damage to my property. The woman who drove straight through my fence, has been sent video of her poor driving. She is totally ignoring my emails and text to rectify it as she said in email she would. I am left with a bill for the damage and this is the only way I can get my message to the owner. I would not eat at this place if this is how you treat the public. If this woman replaces my chain link fence and support cones, I will take this review down. Phone calls are useless I am no further on than when I first brought it to your attention.

For the 2nd time in a row, my order was wrong. Gave me the totally wrong pizza, then didn’t offer a refund but rather a voucher to go make the mistake of ordering there a 3rd time. How is this place still open?

My food was never delivered !!!!!!! Disgusting and shameful

The food was expected to arrive 1:27-1:45 but it arrive 2:15. It was barely hot and the chocolate chip cookie tasted burnt and bitter - as if it wasnt even fresh and was just reheated from a previous order. Honestly, I do not understand how the food was so badly prepared and I paid this extra service fee and this extra marketplace fee??? I even tried calling the merchant with the number provided but they would not pick up after multiple attempts - this was 5 times with 3 different numbers??? Then, I got someone to go to the shop to see if there was something wrong and they finally spoke to us over the phone. It is actually so stupid how this type of service is on ubereats - it was such a scam.

Placed order today. They took my money. Haven’t delivered on time. I requested an update but no reply! I’m trying to call them but no on answers the phone!!!! This is ridiculous! Have successfully ordered from PJ's in High Wycombe, before - don't think I'll bother with PJ's Gerrards Cross, again :P
