Pizza Hut in Wiltshire

So… I liked this place as i found it was very accessible and had friendly staff, they were interacting with us and making sure we were ok! I loved the unlimited drinks, and unlimited ice cream; however the unlimited salad seemed a little unhygienic- so i passed on that one. I have only a few criticisms: - needs to be more ketchup bottles on the shelf - The toilets mirrors where quite low, (i’m average height) -not too busy however they need to find a way to pad out the walls to absorb sound as quite loud, Other than those 3 I love this restaurant and i will be going back :)

It's a very long time since I've been in a pizza hut, I will admit I won't wait so long to come back. My friend and I both got a meal deal, being gluten free she went for a pizza option with chips on the side. I went for a chicken melt with garlic bread on the side. Refillable drinks and salad included for approx £20. Definitely value for money. If you are ever at solciste park, I would recommend a visit.

Stopped on route home for food (restaurant is on the A303 services). Told to order via the qr code, which we did. We ordered mains and dessert. Mains took ages to come out and we had to chase for one of the sides. Then our plates were cleared and we expected our dessert. Nothing came. We asked a server who said did you ask for it? I confirmed I pressed the ‘after mains’ button when ordering and she said no, I needed to ask. Not very automated! All well and good automating ordering but the serving staff have no idea what’s going on and who ordered what. If it is the responsibility of the customer to say then put a sign up. For a restaurant on a busy A road we were there 2 hours. Maybe have 2 types of seating - those on the road and those out for an evening? Pizza Express at services guarantee and deliver quick turnaround to the table. We hadn’t been to Pizza Hut for ages and after today won’t be bothering again.

Had buffet lunch here , lots of parking. Greeted on arrival, restaurant very clean and well laid out . Plenty of choice with pizza and salad , all readily available. Cashless and order with QR code at table , staff available to help if needed.

Disappointed We have used this Pizza Hut for a while and always had great service. My daughter is coeliac and her salad was always made separately out the back and the order taken and followed through by management. Today we were told that the salad is not able to be prepared out the back as apparently the cross contamination risk is the same….. Absolutely ridiculous. Clearly the management have little understanding of food preparation and cross contamination. This can be resolved easily with training. In a buffet, people move utensils, spill food all over the place and kids pick up food and move it around. I would hope that kitchen staff would be trained on cleaning utensils, chopping boards and prepping food in a hygienic manner. If they are incapable of doing this then there is clearly an issue with staffing- which wasn’t her before. Pizza Hut- the restaurant was empty. The restaurants in the same complex were full and turning customers away- maybe you need to reflect on why.

Ruddy lovely food and a great time. We came to eat with my little girl and she took an instant liking to your waitress who was so friendly and caring to her. It made the whole experience really nice and warming. The food was delicious and she loved having her own little pizza and being able to make an ice cream afterwards. It’s a tad on the expensive side, but we will certainly be back because the experience was so good and welcoming. Seeing how happy my little girl was made my whole week, as I don’t see her all too often, so thank you so much. Everywhere will have negative reviews, but this needs the most positive as you were all so kind. Thank you!!!!!

What an absolute bunch of tripe, food was blimmin chef microwave in the back have had better pizzas in Skegness Butlins honestly this place ain't worth it!!

Just had a meal at this Pizza Hut. I’ve been in hospitality for over 30 years and the service received this evening was impressive. It was efficient and the service cycle followed perfectly. I understand big companies set these things but it’s the servers personality and the ability to think on their feet that was impressive. Pineapple was forgotten on 2 of our pizzas - we were asked if we’d like a refire - as it was only 2 out of 3 that were wrong we said no don’t worry. Straight away we were asked how about a pot of pineapple… yes… perfect! Gave the guests the choice and ensured we were happy. For dessert, and as a vegan, I love the Pizza Hut cheesecake, it’s the only vegan option and I was the only one on our table that fancied a dessert so asked for it as takeaway. The server came back to inform us that it was out of stock but then quickly said it’s frozen and you could have a frozen one, leave it a couple of hours and enjoy later. Again perfect, saw a problem and found a solution! Pizza Hut gets their sales and we left happy. The pizzas were hot, crisp and with a polenta dusted crust - lush! If Pizza Hut do reward and recognition for their teams then please let these girls know they were great, polite, friendly and efficient! Apologies for not getting their names. What a lovely evening we had with our family celebrating a birthday. The food was great and very tasty. The service was outstanding our server was Amy Lee who was friendly and attentive and very patient with as all . Thanks for a lovely evening.

Food was really good, felt a touch expensive but was very tasty so did not mind. Good salad bar and great unlimited ice cream at the end!

My husband and I have ordered vegan pizza from here, several times over the last few months. Unfortunately my father was ill and then passed so we have been driving back and forth between Kent and Somerset. The pizza is so nice from this particular restaurant. Next time we will dine in. It has been easy to order and cheered us up through a dark few months. Highly recommend.

Put an order in at half six to collect at 7. Walked in at 7 for them to say it’s not ready yet- no more info. Still waiting as we speak (7.30) for this pizza, with people who ordered here walking in and out. I love the food, but wait times/no updates is a little silly

4 of us arrived for a buffet meal. The choice of pizza was very limited. I asked if there would be a meat one coming out And I was told very soon. After about 15 minutes I asked again and a member of staff showed me a list of what pizzas was available within the buffet. I was happy with the selection and was told again that a meat one was coming. After another wait I went to the counter and asked the chief/ manager what was happening and he said no more meat pizzas were coming out. We then left. As we had paid in advance I did not want to have an argument in front of my in laws. Very poor customer service. The pasta dishes were dried out. At no time was I given a straight answer except by the manager/chief. I used to enjoy the buffet meals at Pizza Hut but this one was terrible. I wrote to Pizza Hut to complain and got a dear John type standard reply with no offer to put this right.

Lovely visit, grandchildren wanted pizza, arrived, started to get complicated,( for us oldies) lovely waitress said , shall I come back and get your order…. Yes please. Instead of us trying to sort out q codes etc..opted for buffet, pizzas were fresh and enjoyable, salad was good choice, kids enjoyed ice cream, grandson managed 3 portions. Not bad value at all.

Two years ago I did a review “Better Than Anticipated” however this last visit was so disappointing. We were seated quickly and told to use the app to order, which took a long time to do and to do the order. At the end of the order when you pay it asks if you want to leave a tip - before your have had any food or service, no way! Our refillable drinks glasses came so we ventured to the salad bar which was well stocked. However to the food - my lasagne came 10 minutes before the other two in the party, the child’s food was okay, but the adult pizza had hardly any topping. Nobody checks to see if everything okay and you just walk out at the end, totally soulless.

We often stop here at this Pizza Hut on the way home to Somerset when we have been away. A great stop with plenty of parking and the staff are highly efficient and really friendly. A Pizza Hut pizza with salad bar just really hits the spot when you don't have one that often, makes it a real treat. Note - both Defence and Blue Light cards are accepted here.

Dined here for lunch recently while staying near Stonehenge. We don't usually go in Pizza Huts as our experiences have been poor in the past (mainly full of teenagers!) However, this one was great. The food was fresh and high quality and the service excellent....

Pretty much does what it says on the tin and why as kids we sung the song "McDonald's McDonald's, Ken tucky fried chicken and a PIZZA HUT! Old skool traditional pizzas that are great tasting! Great staff and lovely clean environment which unusual for a motorway stop! Down side is you can get lovely pizzas for a lot less nowadays so no real need to pay over priced money for something you can get cheaper in the supermarket with same taste! But as a treat it's one of the better established restaurants in Amesbury!

Stopped here for lunch and I can't praise the staff enough. They were very welcoming and attentive and really made the experience. Lunch buffet was as you expect, lots of choice and regularly replenished. Salad bar was clean and everything looked fresh. The whole restaurant looks really good and was very clean despite a fairly busy lunch time! Really impressed as I've been to other pizza huts and they are nowhere near as good. Would definitely return.

We were going to get a takeaway but then opted last minute to eat in, and were pleasantly surprised. It's a bit of a hectic atmosphere, but the kids loved the menu (such a novelty getting their own drinks all the time), which worked well enough for grown ups too although not that much variety if you're not really in the mood for pizza. The staff were all really upbeat and friendly which really impressed us all. Our server was happy to be a little flexible with our requirements, so all in all it was a good visit.

Decided to visit this restaurant on a spur of the moment as it's the most local Pizza Hut to the town where I live.The restaurant is clean and tidy with plenty of parking, we were seated very quickly and the service we received was excellent, the food was served quickly and was of a good standard.I would recommend this restaurant as a good stopping point on a long journey up/down the A303.

The pizzas were amazing as usual, also very quick to come out to us. The pizza maker was humorous singing away whistling tunes whilst making the pizzas which brought smile to my face knowing that the staff were happy as just as much as us. we will defo come back my daughter loved getting a balloon at the arrival to this pizza hut which was a nice touch.

Ate here with friends when I was staying in the area and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Never been a big fan of Pizza Hut but this place was OK. The staff were friendly and the service was extremely quick. The food itself was OK and the price was about average. I probably would eat here again if I was in the area.

Stopped off here on way back from London after walking in the little chef and walking straight back out ! Got to say the staff were brilliant and really friendly and the food was lovely . We had the sharers thing which was really nice and lush cookie dough and icecream for dessert which was yummy .Would recommend highly .

The pizza was delicious, it was a shame I was full after 2 slices, but we boxed it up and took it home. Our waitress, Laura I think was her name, was so friendly and serviceable! Upon arrival the staff were excellent. In particular our server charlotte. Who was attentive and guided our 4 year old daughter getting her onside and choosing food and drink. Watching the staff they were busy but managing their customers smoothly. Even dealing with a family that had a child throw up. Polite and curtious at all times. I would happily go there again. We ate here whilst on holiday in the area, and wanted something casual and easy. The last time we had visited our local Pizza Hut it wasn't a pleasant experience, but we enjoyed this meal. The restaurant is open and airy, and service was very good. As I am unable to eat tomatoes at the moment I was able to choose a different sauce for my pizza, and it was very nice indeed. The salad bar was well stocked and maintained, with all fresh ingredients and kept clean and tidy.

Always very good service and good food. Would recommend. Also very close to stone henge so a nice little pit stop on the way. Pizza Hut at its best.

Plus points are it's nice and big with plenty of tables, and always clean with friendly cheerful staff. Not so go is that during lunchtime buffet they struggle to keep up, often having to wait at the pizza station. The staff are rushed off their feet do getting your bill can take some time. Overall, as pizza Huts go, very good.

I have just had Pizza Hut new Philly cheese stake pizza and sweet potato fries. Great. Eating on my own due to a trip and staff made great effort to make feel welcome. They did carry out box as can't eat it all. Nice clean restraint great food.

Never my first choice, but the rest of the family have a fondness for this kind of menu and we needed to stop off. So, a large slice of humble pie for me as I was blown away by the refreshingly positive vibe, and a manager who had the place hopping. Having sent most of his staff home early - few customers on a post-Christmas Sunday night - he was in the middle of a surge and didn't go under. The guy had his eye on the diners, the kitchen and the welcome; he ran round like a dervish with efficiency, good humour and people skills that every restaurant, of whatever rating or style inclination, would do well to emulate. Even when we were delivered someone else's pizza by mistake, there was no attitude, truculence, ill-will or embarrassed monosyllables. Hasn't converted me to deep pan or stuffed crust pizzas (!), but worth returning if that guy is on duty for an overall great experience.

It's location is perfect for a meal on the way home and a great alternative to the usual services.The restaurant is clean and will presented with fun superhero themed posters around the walls.Pizza Huts menus provide the same selection of pizza, pasta etc. Service was prompt, with friendly staff. Although when my order arrived it was a thin crust rather than the pan pizza I'd ordered. They apologised for the error and offered to make a new one for me, but as I was with a group of others (and hungry) I chowded down all the same.I was surprised when it came to paying that they'd cleared the cost of my meal entirely. More than was necessary--thanks Pizza Hut. Excellent recovery--well done.

Very nice quality pizza, salad bar was nicely set, no dry salad or brown bits on lettuce X which I find people can be fussy about. The woman working was very nice and helpful, for 3 people 2 adults and 1 child we paid £24 for the buffet with free refill drinks. Must of had about 4-6 slices of pizza per adult (not me) and 3 for a child. So good value for money I think. The premises are clean and tidy too which is good.

The Pizza Hut buffet had a sweet server, a good buffet salad bar and adequate food. In the countryside of English, it becomes epicurean.

After moving to the area last year me my husband and three children visit here quite often. The food ALWAYS tastes amazing. The salad is always fresh. The children love making there own icecream.I also love the new addition to make your own drink.The staff are amazing with our children and always make an effort to talk to them.On my daughters birthday they brought a stand of balloons over to make her feel special ( it worked). The manager is always friendly and often walking around singing ( im sure he wears cartoon socks to please the children too ).Would definitely reccomend.

Can't really say a lot apart from the food I had was really good, chicken wings to start and a pizza for my main and they were both excellent.The staff that dealt with me were very efficient and always had a smile on there face and nothing was to much trouble.What I saw of the restaurant looked very clean in a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

What can one say the staff was brilliant good service was clean and the toilets clean the food was reasonable as in all pizza huts salad bar was better than the harvester which we had previously visited

Good food as always, staff were spot on as they always are but the waitress who took our dessert order absolutely reeked of BO!! Took the order to kitchen thinking she'd be back to clear our table before desserts arrived but just came back with desserts and placed them on table where she could find space, the next table away from us also pointed out the damp patches under her arms, maybe pizza hut should brush up on the personal hygine issues.

A group of us went here for lunch. Great buffet, pizzas and drinks. Very friendly staff who like to talk to their customers! Every where was immaculate including the toilets . We will be returning.

Fast good and fresh loved the chicken not so crazy about the fries but the birds at Stonehendge loved them.

Stopped here on a long journey with post holiday blues..... However, they met us at the door with a huge smile and such a welcome that we left feeling so much better! The food was typical Pizza Hut ( all hot and tasty) but the service was brilliant! Well done to all the staff here!

Needed to stop with a one year old and eat quickly. They had a buffet working and it was great.Excellent selection of pizzas, it was quick and easy and the staff were brilliant - they were all smiling and very happy.The manager - or person who looked like the manager - was in complete control and knew exactly what was going on.Highly recommend and will def stop again.
