Absolutely disgusting! We were horrified at the sloppy salads which gave us upset tummies the following day. The pizzas were like eating cardboard. We took our 3year old grandson and when I asked if he could have a little glass of water, the waitress replied he could have Robinsons juice of which he had a few mouthfuls and we no doubt paid for the ‘privilege’ of refills….. I used to take my children and always felt we were getting a fair priced meal, fresh salad and a reasonable pizza. So, for three disgusting meals and 3 drinks we were stung for £69.00 ish I will never revisit!

The Pizza Hut in Eat Central is very poor! The staff are rude and shout at the customers. Being rude to my boyfriend when he asked for a soft drink and giving the dirty look to him because she didn’t hear him saying “I can’t hear what you’re saying!” Before one of the workers told her. I’ve seen people use the drinks machine to refill their drinks there before so I thought I’d refill mine got shouted at by the one member of staff for trying to get another drink. Their customer service is vile for a Pizza Hut think I’ll go to the restaurants next time! Much more professional and polite compared to these Pizza Hut take aways.

I don't think I've been to Pizza Hut for a good 15 years. On first impressions there was plenty of parking and the staff were friendly. First things first, and no reflection of this particular branch, was the price!! If we didn't have 'Meerkat Movies', the following would have cost £46.15 = 1 x refillable drink, 2 x 9 inch deep pan pizzas, a portion of chips and portion of onion rings. With Meerkat Movies, we got this for £24.97. There were 4 other tables in use, one couple did walk out because this particular restaurant, you have to order off the app by scanning the QR code on table and they didn't know how to use this. The salad cart was well presented, everything appeared clean - but the potato salad was more like 9 parts mayonaise and 1 part potato. This is the same with the coleslaw. The food arrived, chips and onion rings first and then a minute later for the pizzas. We found out own condiments - ketchup and BBQ are provided on a shelf, the mayonaise needs collected from the salad cart. The food was good

Absolutely shocking service..there was a girl called Claire she was proper rude ..she doesn't have any manners at all that how to deal with customers...I've been eating pizza here almost everyday and get 10percent discount because I work in merryhill.today she straight refuse me and wen I asked wen did you guys stopped the discount she lies and said while ago even tho I already get one on Monday...I never complain about anything even tho sometime there pizza is uncooked....I even recommend so many customers to them for the last 3 years....I will be telling my work colleagues never go there again and myself definitely not goin there again.rudeee staff.

Pizza Hut is my go to ❤️ but my delivery last night was appalling ☹️ I asked for extra cheese and there was hardly any cheese or sauce on the pizza. The toppings were sprinkled in the centre and It was mainly crust all around so like 3 bites and nothing but crust left. The fries were burnt on the edges but raw and hard?😭 Ordered at 7pm on a Saturday What is going on pizza hut? 😒

Extremely disappointed, a spur of the moment decision to go to Pizza Hut Everything about the meal was terrible , therefore I have bullet pointed it - Horrible out of date salad which which wasn’t fresh Bland tasteless pizza which wasn’t freshly made- dry horrible on a wafer thin base which tasted stale Ice cream tasted sour and off Poor range of condiments , the ketchup and barbecue sauce , the texture and taste was cheap and not of a high standard Fries and onion rings dry and tasteless A complete rib off - nearly £60 spent and wasted Avoid like the plague I wish we had stayed in and had oven heated frozen pizza - it would have been tastier and better value

It was my son's birthday and he picked here for the occasion. The waitresses and waiter were all lovely and even brought out our cake and sang happy birthday for him. Unfortunately, it's now card only and you have to order through their QR code at the table which is just more faff than it's worth. When two and a child's bill comes to £60 I'd appreciate a more personal service, as opposed to being on my phone, which even cheap pub grub places do, but that's not the staffs fault. The pizza was unfortunately too greasy but dam it tasted good ! The saladette was kept neat and clean, as was the restaurant, and plenty choice at the refill machine. I'd give 5* if you ordered with a person instead and pizzas weren't as greasy or quite so expensive.

Not been to Pizza Hut for quite a while and one of the kids did well at school so it was their choice. The first shock was the cost of the 'large' pizza at ~£23 each, the second was the size and quality when they arrived. The thin crust was barely bigger than your standard frozen Aldi pizza and not much better in quality. The deep pan was far worse with hardly any toppings (no cheese on 2 slices entirely) and was no bigger than your supermarket freezer alternative. The unlimited drinks were the only highlight as the salad bar was fairly messy which didn't bode well as, when we came, there were only 4 other covers at the time. The staff were pleasant but looked slightly embarrassed serving my mostly cheese free deep pan and were it not for the fact this was a treat I would have complained there and then. Avoid like the plague as there is neither value nor quality and when you could have gotten 4 large Dominos Pizzas and drinks for the same price or less you know you're being ripped off.

Well me and my family visit this pizza hut for a quick lunch so we decided to go for the pizza buffet and it was not worth it the selection of pizza they had were all the same in taste even the ones that you would think had some spice of flavour to them were bland and nothing was labeled so ya did not know what you where picking , the salad bar had a good select and the two choices of pasta dish was ok but the the lack of say french fries was a poor choice and the garlic bread I did know if I should eat it or re-tile the room with them and don't get me going on the customer service or should I say complete lack of it , as we enter the server barked at us that the store was cashless ( ok get that some place are after the lock downs ) and that we have to order online via the qr code again ok but she did not ask if we were ok doing this and just walked off assuming we had the facility to order via our phone but this should have been checked as not everyone has a smart phone but we did it it via the qr code but again the so called app is not the best if this is they way pizza hut is going to carry on we will have to take out business elsewhere and I don't think I will be the only one

Its been around 8 years since I ate in at Pizza Hut. Was expecting a kind of TGI type experience but no. On arrivel we were told they are a contactless restaurant - ok not a problem order at the table. Whilst you order and pay by phone at your table it then has the cheek to ask if you would like to leave a tip! What for exactly - we haven't had the most welcoming of arrivals and then asking for a tip before any service is given is a joke. Food arrived - very average. Salad bar - messy and also no pasta salads!! So sadly if I don't visit you for another 8 years it will be too soon. Sorry guys give it up and do deliveries only.

I have fond memories of pizza hut. I decided to take a 10 year old for his first ever pizza hut as a birthday treat. I was told on arrival that it was cashless. The waitress rolled her eyes at me because I must have looked surprised. Upon being seated I discovered that not only was it cashless - that's ok, I can pay by card; but I have to order by phone and pay by phone. I am afraid I don't do online banking. No-one came to check if I was OK so we got up and walked out. We went to Five Guys which accepts cash and cards. Nearly all food outlets in Merry Hill accept cash or cards. If the staff can't be trusted to handle cash, or they don't understand what cash is, perhaps Pizza Hut could install a self order machine like McDonalds have. The sad thing is that the 10 year old never got to experience Pizza Hut. One future customer lost forever. Pizza Hut will not read this review or respond to it. They just don't care.

The seating area was dirty, with crumbs and ingrained dirt on the seats and all over the floor around the table base. We went at the start of the lunchtime session so I was surprised it was so dirty already. The toilets were very smelly and also needed a deep clean. The service wasn't great, as the waitress barely smiled at us and seemed in a rush. The restaurant encourages the use of the app though, so that reduces contact with the staff. The food itself was OK and as expected.

We visited today for buffet lunch as a quick meal. The manager overheard us discussing the lack of choice. The pizzas kept coming out to buffet the same… Chicken and pineapple and a BBQ chicken. None of the more popular options. She was then extremely rude and snappy and frankly she is the most arrogant woman I’ve ever seen in such a position. You manage a Pizza Hut my lovely it doesn’t make you important or better than anyone else. Rude and arrogant would be an understatement. We watched her demeanour to other customers which was just as bad. The lady behind us was of the larger size and this manager basically belittled her! We were jaw dropped that this lady even has a job.

Had a poor meal somwhere else the previous night coupled with ghosting from the staff. However this experince was the best top quailty food 4 had a meal and drinks for £17.50 each and were full to bursting, what made this a top evening was the staff all super freindly and asked us if everything was OK, made time for me and my family even though they were very busy. Thank you all for a wonderful time. :)

Visited for lunch and thought it was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean with Covid precautions firmly in place but done in a pleasant way. Online ordering easy to use. Our pizzas were very good indeed and arrived very promptly. My Americano with barbecue sauce, chicken and bacon was generous and tasty. The prosecco was of good quality. We will definitely be back soon, thank you girls!

Looking forward to picking a takeaway tonight, only to be told on entering the restaurant that they only deal with cashless. Know I understand covid is around but im glad Pizza Hut can afford to turn down an order over twenty five pounds because they refuse cash.... obviously they don't need the custom. I see they were queuing to be served. Well bad luck, took my custom elsewhere......

Was able to come without a pre-arranged booking, seated no problem. The tables we needed to clean ourselves, they had been cleared but not properly cleaned down as there were some dried on remainders from the previous party. Bottomless drinks were empty for a while, had to take it upon ourselves to go to the bar to find a member of staff, there appeared to be two working the floor however always appeared busy bringing out orders, although we were asked if our order was OK. As always for Pizza Hut, prices are high, no offers on Fridays or Saturdays.

I do not recommend coming here at all The manager who sat us down said I was too fat for a table then notice I was pregnant didn’t even apologise to me !! We order our 3 cookies dough and took 40 mins to come out wasn’t even busy Cleaning they just spray tables and leave them For long tome and stand around talking To each other Honestly the worst Pizza Hut Iv ever been to I would not be coming back Really rude manager

My cousin and I visited this branch and had a lovely time. The food was on par and the service was quick and friendly. We found that they went beyond the necessary requirements as we had made a couple of mistakes about the orders and they were kind enough to rectify. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

This was our first meal out as a family since the start of lock down and we thought it would be nice to take our 2 year old to get an ice cream from the ice cream factory. We didn't even realise that the salad bar and buffet wouldn't be on yet but you could still order the all you can eat buffet and the staff bring you small pizzas as you ask for them. No choice, you can have salad or coleslaw and the pizzas didn't seem as nice as usual. Cost 3.20 I think for a small bottle of Pepsi and no refills and I asked for deep pan pizza and the woman serving said they only had thin crust at the minute. The thin crust was absolutely vile and covered in oil. They only bring one small pizza at a time and I didn't want to keep waiting each time as my son was getting restless so I only ended up having two small pizzas, a bit of coleslaw and a few bits of garlic bread. An expensive meal out really to say we hardly ate anything. Also you have to pay via your phone but their WiFi didn't work so they were OK with us paying by card. Understandably things are different at the minute but it was still disappointing. I would like to point out though that the staff were polite and friendly to my son. I haven't felt well all the next day though and my partner who is a chef says the garlic bread was raw which is why he didn't eat any (thanks for telling me at the time ).

Came to the merry Hill pizza hut on 7th September for my birthday. Firstly no salad bar, secondly the buffet is not on you are given small individual pizzas instead. My husbands pizza looked like a microwave pizza. Thirdly you have to order on their app on your phone, you can't order at the till. The app didn't have the buffet option which caused more hassle. Lastly we are told we can't have unlimited drinks instead we have got to pay 3.20 each for a drink. Now keep in mind that at harvester you can still have salad bar and unlimited drinks. The way harvester deal with this is to just do it for you and you pick what you want. So avoid pizza hut during this pandemic it's a bad experience.

We visited this branch of the Pizza Hut on Thursday 2nd to treat the children. I’d pre-booked the table online. On entering the restaurant, I waited a minute or so and then the waitress, which I later discovered was the manager, pointed to a table and said, ‘the one with the menus on’. So I made my own way over to the table and my husband followed shortly with the children. We hadn’t room to put our coats in the booth so my husband put them on a chair and tucked it into the end of the table. We were told that we couldn’t put a chair at the end of the table so I asked what we were to do with our coats and were informed that we could leave them on the chair at an adjacent table. We then waited a while for our order to be placed, my husband got the drinks while we waited and mentioned to a waitress that we were ready to order. He then noticed that person take other customers to their table before coming to take our order. I thought they must be busy but looking around the restaurant it wasn’t even half full. We eventually placed our order and I went to the salad bar. The food didn’t take long to come but the general service terrible and miserable, we weren’t asked if everything was ok with our food. We waited ages for someone to come and see if we had finished, the children hadn’t had their ice cream so we were told where that was and then waited for the bill. Someone eventually arrived and i asked for a box for the left over pizza and a box for the left over salad. I was then informed to my surprise that I could have a box for the pizza but not a box for the salad as I couldn’t take that away. Because I hadn’t hardly eaten any of my salad, (not re-filled, it was my first and only salad) I felt this such a waste. I asked the waitress why I couldn’t take it, she started walking away from the table saying it wasn’t their policy, I said well, what are you going to do with it? she smiled and walked off. Presuming they would throw it away. This made me rather cross. I asked to see a manager, who also re-enforced that I couldn’t take away the salad, and was given the reason that people can fill up for free and so it’s to prevent people filling up to take it home. I said that I hadn’t re-filled the bowl, that it was my first salad and re-iterated to her that I would like to take it away. She smiled a sort of sarcastic smile and said well it’s not our policy and that I couldn’t take it. I then felt pressured to make her understand the reason why I had only managed to eat a few mouthfuls of my dinner. So I was compelled to explain that I suffer with peritoneal cancer and so eating very little can make me feel full up quickly. On this particular occasion I’d eaten some pizza and had picked at my salad and what I’d like to do is take my pizza home and when I feel a little more settled I’d like to eat my pizza with my salad. Again I was informed it was not company policy but that in light of what I had said, on this occasion she would waiver it and I could take it home. A box was put on the table without a word being spoken. I asked for the bill which was handed to me in silence. No word in fact was spoken to me or my family as we left the restaurant. I had a feeling that they didn’t believe me and when I left the restaurant and walked to out car which was rightly parked in a disabled bay I saw them talking to each other the one shaking her head and thought they were talking about me and didn’t believe me. Other than going back in there and showing them pictures of when I hadn’t got any hair 12 months ago or my cancer appointment card, there was little else I could do. I thought how mean of them and left thinking they think I’m a salad thief. Never again will I go back to the merry hill branch of Pizza Hut. And I’d like to take this moment to share that we can all be reminded that there are people out there who have invisible disabilities, me being one. And with a diagnoses of having 12-18 months to live. It’s a wonder I’m out treating the children to a pizza and being positive in the first place but find human nature can be rather ignorant and hurtful on occasion. I hope the waitresses get to read this message and consider their behaviour and change their beliefs. Not everyone is a salad thief.

Came here on a Saturday for an early tea, food was good but other areas let them down went into the bathroom and it was very untidy toilet paper all over the floor no soap and just not very clean. Then the ice cream bar OMG very untidy and stuff covered in sauce and sprinkles everywhere. Staff were friendly and we were serviced quickly.

Went in for desserts and didn’t even manage to place my order after being ignored several times, waiting around for 30 minutes and ended up walking out.

Called in while shopping with kids @ Merry Hill. Food was good, tasted lovely. Staff very helpful and friendly. Glad we called in

AVOID!!! - SPOILED MEAT on PIZZA! Managers don't care!Merry Hill Branch in Brierley Hill, DY5Disgusting place and no wonder with Management that clearly don't care for customers!I had a meat pizza that was not fresh! The meat was definitely spoiled, I could smell it when I opened the box at home. It was a late night order, they had closed at 10PM by the time I'd gotten home.I had to throw the entire pizza away ! My fiancee only ate half of hers due to not enjoying it... the Chicken bites looked as if they'd been fried hours before and reheated!Completely and utterly disgusting !!!To top it off, I called the management TWICE at the store. Firstly on the 18th July (The day after) and spoke to a Deputy Manager called Nicky who went into straight "defence mode" about it not being possible for the meat to have gone off as it has a "shelf life of 2-3 days" - If the management don't understand the basic principles of keeping meat fresh, no wonder it was off!I told her the meat was spoiled, she wasn't having any of it. Said she would call me back that day or get another manager the day after... Guess what!? No call back!I called today (Sat 20th July) spoke to another "Manager" called Sarah. - Same thing, straight into defence mode "It's IMPOSSIBLE for the meat to be off"! How darling!? It's not impossible, meat goes off.. especially as you and Nicky seem to think that it can't!?We're paying a premium price, we expect edible food!I've logged a complaint with your customer service and I will be contacting Dudley Council's enviromental health.I also have a legal right to protest outside of your premises, whether I exercise that right depends on whether your companies resolution!

We haven't been to Pizza Hut for over 11 years so decided to treat ourselves. We hadn't eaten all day so were really looking forward to it. When we entered a server came over (dragging her feet, no smile) and took us to a table for two right up the back of the room. Very squashed. Not sure why we could not sit i the window, it wasn't as though the place was rammed. Infact a couple was seated next to us not long after ordering and the lady commented she did not expect to be stuffed up a corner table with the amount of money she would be spending. When I asked if we could use a nectar card coupon for a free pizza each I was told I could use one, but not two. The server then trotted off into the back and came back and said it was only one coupon per visit, to which I said, "no it is one coupon per table" and then said I would sit on the table on my own next to my partner to eat my pizza if it was a problem as the tables were pushed that close together it would have made no difference. I did not like the attitude she gave me, as thought it was HER money that was being given away. Our food came in good time and it was quite nice, but we had to ask what we could have with the free pizza coupons when we ordered as this server stormed off and never came back and we were not told we could help ourselves to salad either. We finished our food in under 5 minutes and left. We shall not be back and you can already see the place is dying a slow death. Moral of this story - don't turn up with vouchers or coupons, you will be treated like lepers. Pizza Express from now on for us.

I hadn’t been in here for years, but went for a meal before going to the cinema (they allow Meerkat Meals). The service was fast & friendly & we ordered 2 starters, 2 pizzas & 2 bottomless soft drinks, we used the salad bar which was full & fresh. The food was hot & tasty & the bill was just over £21, so excellent value too! We’ll be back!

Well it was lovely the meal but I was expecting them to do hot and spicy beef pizza but they dont do it anymore oh well had chicken hot and spicy was ok but didn't have enough chillies on it but will remember fir next time it was great value for money sharing pizza and 2 side dishes and salad and dessert fab

This is a small and cramped Pizza Hut compared to others I have been to. Cleanliness standards aren’t quite up to others, but not awful.

Visited this venue today and it’s was excellent, the three ladies working did an amazing job, it was so busy there was a queue out the door but even that didn’t seem to phase them, it was clean ( until my grandson ate ) tables were cleared immediately and staff still took the time to give excellent service all round ..... first day of school holidays and buffet time couldn’t even put a strain on the staff ..... excellent value all round and I think my grandsons face says it all

The pizza was nice and fresh but there were only a couple of staff working and they were extremely busy so we were left a long time before placing orders and waiting for drinks. Would go back but maybe not in the school holidays.

Family evening meal after parents evening. Combination of good reports and didn't want to cook late. Really friendly waitress, she let us sit on the large round booth despite there ably being 4 of us. Good variety of drinks available, salad bar was all quite fresh which is a great improvement from visits in the past. Good freshly cooked pizzas including a tasty healthy version. Called first, couldn't book, but "please come over, we'll fit you in" then found there were only 3 tables for more than four people in a party... Like your family. I would give it a wide berth and go to Pizza Express, the pizza is healthier and they can push tables together!

Just to be clear this is a review of the Pizza Hut on the retail park at Merry Hill not the one in the centre itself. We visited on a Thursday lunchtime during the Easter holiday so expected it to be busy. We didn't have to wait long for a table and the service was good. We didn't have the buffet as we were using a Tastecard so ordered individual pizzas plus garlic bread. Pizzas were a little overcooked for my liking but still tasty and very hot! Overall it was very good, Kay, our waitress, was very friendly and attentive.

We decided to give it another go and I am glad we did. There was a young man on the floor and he was excellent. The food was good and as I said the waiter was excellent. Will go back.

Stopped off here for lunch before doing some shopping. Waitress was very friendly and service was good. We didn't have the buffet as we were using a Tastecard so ordered 2 individual pizzas plus garlic bread and of course there's unlimited salad available. All the food was piping hot and delicious and it's very good value with the Tastecard.

Visited for my 7 year olds birthday, his choice. Staff were friendly took the cake off me and asked birthday boy his name. Food came quickly and they all sang happy birthday to him when they brought the cake out. Couldn't ask for more.

Love the lunch time buffet plenty of choice of pizza and salt and pasta. The fresh bread sticks on the buffet are a favourite

We stopped for food after Christmas shopping. Excellent service and excellent food, it is the first time I had used the salad bar, all the food was fresh and tasty and that’s before we had the pizza, I would highly recommend the stuffed garlic and cheese crust.

We were not impressed with our experience. First of all the place was freezing. The music they were playing was ridiculously loud which didn't help the already cold ambience. Furthermore our pizza took ages to come, we watched it sitting there for about 5 minutes before they decided to bring it to us. When it finally arrived the pizza was barely warm and the base was soggy. We just wanted to get out as soon as possible so we just ate and left. We certainly would not be returning. Poor service for a restaurant that wasn't even busy.

we came here for our sons 7th birthday meal, and other daughter, we arrived and parked close to the door, and were seated quickly, the menu could have had a few more choices on it, only 2 pasta dishes, but i guess it is PIZZA hut, we ordered and helped our self to free sald while waiting, the starters came quickly, and before we could even finish, the mains came out, i shouldnt complain, becaue its better than waiting ages. the food was nice everyone ate their pizza's and what was left was boxed up and taken home. the only problem was the drinks machine broke when i went to get a refill, but within 5-10 mins it was working again. but the ice cream station was fine, the kids like it that they can help themsleves to ice cream sauce and sprinkles, and also get their own refill from the drinks machine.

Came here with my family and partner in the evening. Very quick service and food came out promptly. Kudos to the gent working 26/10/17 around 6pm, he was so great, friendly and helpful! Awesome service and seemed genuinely happy instead of forced and fake. Food is very reasonably priced and of good quality. Bonus that theres an unlimited salad bar! Yummm!

Very nice buffet lunch plenty of choice all fresh, nice garlic bread salad also fresh we also had a desert the cookie dough with ice cream small portion for the price but very nice

La primera vez que en realidad fuimos a este Pizza Hut. No era demasiado llena, pero no estaba muerto o nos sirve de inmediato y no tuve que esperar mucho para ello. La pizza era tan increíble y contundente y no tengo ninguna queja.

As the title suggest it's always great food whenever we dine here. We most commonly go for the dinner time buffet as it's great value for money and all you can eat. Me being a fussy pizza eater I tend to stick to margarita so the buffet allows me to try new flavour pizzas out of my comfort zone! The staff are so friendly and can't go out of their way enough for you. As my two year old accompanies us (also a very fussy eater) the staff always provide her with a colouring activity book and some crayons to keep her occupied while we eat and she picks at her food from her own lunch box. Definitely worth a visit.

Came here few weeks ago with my family for my birthday meal. Thought we would come here instead. Food was great and the customer service from start to finish was brilliant. Will return soon.

Working a long Christmas eve shift I brought my team pizza to be delivered from this restaurant.... booking online was straight forward with a delivery time stated. It took over 2 hours for our delivery which when came was hard, cold & tasteless.... Upon giving the restaurant feedback I've been refused a refund due to the fact I didn't contact the restaurant that evening... well as they were closed (Xmas eve & Xmas day) contacting them proved difficult, as of which there not interested and head office just keep palming me off with its the individual restaurants decision....clearly franchised to people who haven't got a clue about customer service/relations. Will not ever use this company again and would definitely not recommend.

I like to say thank you for making my birthday special we had unlimited drinks and salad and an extra pizza with a 33% discount. Big mention to RebeccaT who looked after us.

Was seated right next to the buffet food so not very private. We waited and waited, no waitress came to us, eventually I had to say to a passing waitress that we were going to the buffet to get our food. Had buffet for £6.99, good choice of fresh pizza, salad area was quite untidy.Again no one came to us to bring the bill, we stood by the till, 4 staff walked past us. Eventually someone came to us. Terrible service but food was ok. Over priced drinks though!!

Myself and a friend visited at around 9pm one night and we were seated very quickly upon arrival. Both myself and my friend wanted to make changes to the toppings that were standard on the pizzas that we wanted to order, which the staff were very happy to do without question. The salad bar was well stocked despite it being just over an hour until they were due to close, which I was very pleasantly surprised by. Our food came out very quickly and was hot and very delicious. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Daughters 20th Birthday celebration. Everything was good except the lasagna- was tasteless and disappointing. However no fuss no bother the staff asked if everything was ok and when I told them, they offered to remove the item from the bill and supplied free of charge a different meal.

Visited here a few times for a meal and always been greeted and treated lovely by the staff, always friendly, helpful and let you sit where you would prefer. The food is delicious and ever so nice here. Such a nice place to go to eat.

Been here for another visit. Every time we come it's cold inside.. so cold we have to.go and get coats.Food is okay.. service is not good as there always seems minimal staff.

We called in at lunch time on Sunday for the buffet lunch.costing £6.95 per person we thought this was good value.we arrived early(just 30 minuets after it opened.we had the salad bar first,good selection.unfortunately when we went up for the pizza there was none available,they had ran out,we had to wait 19 minuets for a new batch.but it was worth it.

we were cramped in between two other tables could literaly rub elbows with people on other tables. waited ages to be served, they bought our pizzas out without clearing our table so i had to clear the table myself by taking our empty salad bowls up to the counter. ordered refillable pop for drinks and they didnt tell us we had to get the glasses ourselves so we were sat waiting for drinks for ages. waiters just seem to stand around while you clear your own tables ect. no mayonnaise or descent sauces. would never return here, worst pizza hut iv been by far. pizzas were good on the upside.

We were made to feel very welcome, enjoyed our meal and did. Not feel rushed. Wonderful, helpful service.

Unlimited salad with meal deal and pizza size just enough for one. Good choice of refillable drinks that you can serve yourself. Only negative they forgot our side portion of French fries and had to ask 2 people before they came to the table.

Always great service and with a smile, clean tables and fresh salads at the salad bar. Highly recommended. Don't confuse this one with the one by the bus stop. This is better!

Brought my mom here for lunch and we both loved it. We got the buffet. Nice atmosphere inside the restaurant would recommend

My daughter chose Pizza Hut as her place to go with 10 friends for her 15th birthday celebrations. I went up at lunch time and dropped a surprise birthday cookie and candles to be brought out after desserts. I was assured that there would be no problem as there was only their party on this evening. I was told balloons would also be put on the table. I went to pick my daughter back up at 9:30 on the evening to be told a cake never came out!!!! 8 of her friends had already been picked up and gone home! I was so disappointed that my wishes had not been carried through and the moment had passed by without her cake or singing birthday. The manager was apologetic and said he would speak to the girl who took the cake from me. And call me the next day...NO PHONECALL! They were happy to take my £130 but could not carry out a simple task!!!!Also the balloons that were put on the "birthday" table said merry Christmas- it was October! I will not be returning!

Absolutely awful! The staff were too busy standing around talking to acknowledge us. After finally ordering and waiting, nobody bothered to bring us salad bowls so I had to then go and interrupt their conversation where they were sat gossiping at a dining table, to ask for the bowls. I noticed around the salad area there were clumps of fluff and dirt on the floor which could easily have been swept and mopped! The salad itself looked like it had been sitting there all day, the lettuce had darkened and gone limp! The pizza came fairly quick however the 'stuffed crust' was barely there, my daughter's spaghetti bolognese was actually tasteless and luke warm. After finishing, we were sat for fifteen minutes and nobody came to clear our table or offer any desserts. My daughter had ice cream as part of her meal deal and once again I had to go and interrupt the staff conversation to ask where the bowls were. After this, which would clearly imply our dinner was finished, nobody still cleared our table off dinner plates, pizza board etc until another ten minutes later. Dreadful visit, awful staff - if they weren't gossiping they were staring! (I even saw them go up and look over another man's dinner who had gone to the toilet how rude!). Won't be visiting this Pizza Hut anytime soon if this is the standards they have.

As we were shopping last night, parked opposite Pizza Hut. Thought we would grab a take out, however as they weren't very busy decided to eat in. Young lady showed us to a table with menus. We knew what we were having, the meal arrived was nothing special, not as tasty as I remember. We felt the waitress couldn't get rid of us quickly enough. We thought maybe she was having a bad night but there was only a few people in, we just ate and came out. None of us suggested to leaving a tip which we always do. When we got home we were deflated and said that we should of felt upbeat as we had bought several great household purchasers and had a meal. We actually said well we won't be going back to Pizza Hut, I am shocked as we all love pizza and especially Pizza Hut. So what has happened to Pizza Hut, you have lost 4 good customers.

We needed somewhere for the kids to eat quickly and often go to our local Pizza Hut, I must say this was not as good as our usual experience. It was a quiet midweek early evening, yet the service was slow. The salad bar was well stocked but I had to ask a few times until we got our drinks. The pizza was fine as were the kids meals. The floor under the table was messy with food bits but the table was clean. Our waitress was friendly but I think there were not enough staff. The kids got restless waiting around. We'd asked for garlic bread as a starter while waiting for their meals but it arrived at the same time. It was nice though. Overall okay, but I've had much better.

My wife called the branch to place an order for collection, we were called back with 2 minutes to state they didnt have any onion rings in stock, my wife then asked what the other options were to be told by the manager (this was the person who called us back), that they had fries and thats it ! . . .when my wife asked if there were any other options like chicken etc the guy said . . .its fries take it or leave it. My wife then explained we were only trying to place an order . . . he then said " dont give me any attitude im trying to help you !" . . . . help us . . .aint that part of his job ! . . .we cancelled the order but still a week on my wife is still waiting for a refund to her debit card. VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Dirty dirty dirty.Place is revolting, could do with a few gallon of bleach. It wasn't that bust yet there was food stuffed in the back of the seat and food on the floor, it was quite early so there can not have been many if any people before us.

Just what you would expect from this chain. Very busy food and service good. Visited with granddaughter during school holidays so full of kids but this didn't diminish the service or food quality.

After a day of shopping in merry hill we decided to stop off for pizza before heading home, we were seated straight away with menus. We were given plenty of time to decided what pizza we wanted. After our order we were given our salad bowls and helped ourselves to drinks. The pizza came sooner than expected, however some items were missing, this was soon rectified when making a memeber of staff aware. At the end of our meal we still had a few pizza slices left and asked if we could have them in a box to take home which was no problem.

The restaurant is located at the far end of the mall and has no clear indication of where to enter! We were seated pretty much straight away and then gave menus. The menu was awful, it doesn't include margarita although you can order it.....? There is a choice of deep pan and thin crust and you can also have several other crusts like stuffed. There is an unlimited soft drinks offer which you can refill yourself. The toilets are ancient and look like an underground public toilet..... The pizza itself was delicious and I didn't have any deserts but they looked fairly nice! The staff looked bored to death and didn't approach you with a warm smile... Enjoy ;)

So what is difficult about cooking a pizza. I was left wondering this on saturday. I sat there with 4 members of my family. having eaten our limited salad. Yes its free but when half the salad bar in empty your left with - not much. I had to ask for it to be refilled. which never happened.The pizza came- dry and sad looking. I could tell asking for it to be recooked wouldnt have been taken well. One member of staff was cheerful but rushed. the other obviously had her bed against the wall- and got out of the wrong side.It is strange that this poor restaurant is opposite another poor restaurant- frankie & Bennies. both the worst of their kind. usually these places are passable. but both deserve a 2/10

Visited Pizza Hut when feeling pecking on a trip to the Merry Hill Centre. We don't expect too much from a chain restaurant like Pizza Hut and it had been probably ten years since our last visit to this particular establishment.Our visit occurred around 13:30 on a Friday, the restaurant was reasonably quiet. We waited for a couple of minutes by the door before we were spotted by staff and seated. The member of staff looking after us, Alison, was very friendly, answering any questions we had. We opted for the Americana Barbecue base - with chicken and bacon. I was expecting chilli flakes to give the pizza a little 'oomph', but was told that Pizza Hut are phasing them out. Thankfully, Alison went and checked and there was a pot of chilli flakes remaining behind the scenes which she brought out. She also asked if I would like to try some 'Firecracker Sauce' as a dip - warning me that it might be hot - of course I opted to, and it was a delicious addition - perfect for crust dipping. Other than this, the pizza, whilst perfectly cooked, was slightly bland tasting and not really worth the cost in my opinion. The salad selection was interesting but nothing special. I can't help but feel that Pizza Hut in general is not as good as it was in the '90s. Whether that is because Pizza Hut has been left behind, stuck in a time warp as other restaurants push on with ever interesting flavours - or me wearing rose tinted glasses - I'm unsure. On this visit, Alison serving us made the difference.

we took our 8 year old daughter to pizza hut for a party, she invited 9 friends and it was a great success, The party was at 11am, but the restaurant didn't open to other people until 11.30, so it was nice that we had the place to ourselves for 30 mins, we could have booked it sooner, but it would have been pizza for breakfast then..the staff were very helpful and friendly and ensured the kids were having a good time, there was plenty on the table to keep them occupied, and once everyone had arrived, they brought the pizza's and various toppings out so that the kids could create there own pizzas by adding whichever toppings they liked. once they were ready they took them away to cook, and the kids helped themselves to the salad bar, the kids could also help themselves to unlimited drinks, and I think they liked it because they could get it themselves, even though some of them chose to mix coke, Fanta and lemonade, that's kids for you!!the kids seem to enjoy the pizza's and the one's that didn't finish it all, got it boxed up and they took it home.They then gave us a bit of a break while we played pass the parcel and then for dessert the kids had unlimited ice cream from the machine, which again they enjoyed as they could use the ice cream and put their own sprinkles and sauce on.they let us put our own decorations and banners up, and the whole day was a great success.At the end as my daughter was leaving they gave her a hardback Paddington bear book to keep, which I thought was lovely, I think pizza hut were doing a Paddington theme, for the party.in total for 10 kids it costs us £80, which I thought was good value for unlimited salad, drinks and ice cream, and they didn't even charge us for the adults drinks.thanks to paul at pizza hut for making our party special

Visited on Tues 27 Jan as a family of 3. The girl who served us was called Kay and she was very professional and friendly. Food was yummy only 1 complaint the music is always far too loud!

Visited on a weekday lunchtime when it was pretty quiet. This is probably the worst time to visit a Pizza Hut Buffet as the pizza then tends to just sit on the hotplate and is not particularly fresh.The lettuce on the salad bar looked a bit worse for wear so steered clear of that.The spicy beef pan pizza was nice (caught it as soon as it appeared), however, the others were fairly bland and uninspiring.Didn't need to eat again that day, however, felt like I had wasted my money and should have perhaps had a healthy sandwich instead.Waitress service was good and attentive and give an additional star for that.

Went to the pizza hut for the lunch time buffet which was awful. The food all tasted bland and the pizza tasted exactly the same as all the others. Was very disappointed especially considering how costly the buffet is. The restaurant itself is unimpressive as it is extremely small and cramped. The waitresses were all stood around the bar chatting away as it was empty other than one other table. The staff were not particularly friendly, which probably stems from how incredibly bored they must of been.

There is a good selection of food available- obviously Pizza is the main one! Although it can be a bit pricey depending on when you go and what you have. The unlimited salad and soft drink selection is good and in my opinion the BBQ Americano Pizza is the best! The staff however are very un-involved and there are not very many of them. Also, if you order from a pre-selected menu like the lunch buffett, you get your bill before you get up to get your food, so it does feel as though they want you out as soon as possible!

It's just not that good is it really. The salad bar is horrible, weird choices, not exactly healthy salad and the pizza was bland. Lovely staff though
