Went here on a quiet Thursday evening. Received a very warm welcome from the manager who was friendly and chatty. We ordered one of the meal deals and it all arrived hot and tasty. Salad bar was well stocked. Waitress was efficient. We like ordering online in restaurants these days, it's quick and easy. However the only downfall with this is that at the time of ordering you're asked if you want to leave a tip. At this point you don't know if you want to leave one or not! We didn't have any cash with us so we left without tipping which was a real shame because they deserved one!

I stopped here the other night for dinner was served and looked after by Avery nice young lady ange most helpful the restaurant wasn’t busy the site was clean and tidy the salad cart was full up and again clean and tidy I came in on Monday night 15/1/2023 1924 pm I was on me way to Norfolk for work so if you find your self this way pop in for lunch or dinner 100/100 stars love mr cheeky in Kent

12.45pm on Sunday and the restaurant is not full. There are lots of staff standing around but no food on the buffet and the salad bar was mostly empty. A really disappointing visit and not a cheep lunch.

Good food, just do not like the order on line. You order your food on line and then you are asked whether you want to leave a tip which I think is a bit cheeky.

1st visit to this branch and 1st visit in any Pizza Hut post covid. The salad bar has improved beyond recognition since my last visit, which was greatly reduced and not fit for purpose. Now a good selection of many good salady items!! The pizzas on the buffet were constant, fresh and all good, as were the pastas too. If the area leading to the gents toilets had been better I would have given 5 stars, however this is awaiting attention(or so the sign said). Unlimited drinks were good and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was pleasantly busy. I will now return to Pizza Hut again and suggest if you've not visited for a while, try it.

Came on a Sunday for 2 buffets and two drinks. £34.90. I found this expensive for what we got. The restaurant is dark, cramped and needed a good clean, you can’t pay by cash, have to order by phone, I didn’t leave a tip because I served myself. The pizza was ok but all tasted the same, wouldn’t return. Staff looked like they were just going through the motions, no effort was really made. A lady at a nearby table asked for a mug of hot water to warm some baby milk, the waitress told her no, she couldn’t bring it to the table as she wasn’t allowed… weird.

I stopped here for a bite to eat at lunch time was very well looked after by Georgina wow what a breath of fresh air the young lady is most polite very helpful great customer service a BIG credit to the company the place was busy but she was polite helpful so Georgina a massive big thank you for a great lunch today sat by the window 1pm table 16 so if you looking for great service and apolite young lady you got to go there thank you once again 100/100 stars love mr cheeky Xx

We've been here a few times and sometimes had breakfast muffins an sometimes all day breakfast muffins - we like it! There is a big choice of fast food - something for everyone. The large space is clean and well spaced and the service efficient. You order on the scree as you arrive and wait for your food to be ready at the counter. Lots of comfortable seating available. Small outside area, but no shades.

An absolutely disgusting will not except legal tender of this country.. sorry not everyone wants to pay by card.. sometimes cards ar lost stolen or broken..I will definitely not be going again

Came here for the lunch buffet - although the pizzas were yummy and hot, spent quiet a while waiting for them to be refilled. No staff were wearing masks - was a thing at the time. Staff walking around with extremely long hair not tied back, tables crammed in and cramped, chairs are the sort you sit in and fall through. Place was dated run down and grubby. Toilets were filthy, trashed - I know not their fault but should be monitored clearly not! Staff seemed clueless and unhelpful. We waited a ridiculous time for 2 spoons so my kids could eat Their ice cream. Staffing seemed a bit of a shambles! I can understand being low staffed but don’t take tables if you can’t cope with them.

Should not be allowed to sell such filth. Tried classic burger meal and hotdogs meal. Burger tasted like lard had one bite spat it out and went home to be sick.Partner tried hotel an did the same both at home vomiting. Never will return should be shut down as soon as possible.

This was the worse hygiene I've ever seen a guy came from behind the counter on 14th Dec 5.30 2021 from serving food with blue plastic gloves on went into the gents toilet came out did not change his gloves or wash his hands went back behind the counter after comming out of the toilet and went and handled food this is bloody disgusting to the side of the restaurant all rubbish is dumped on the floor from restaurant all bins over flowing really dirty deff a health hazard and 4 large milks sitting among rubbish tht a guy picked up after a hr was watching from restaurant im going to report this to health people this is disgusting

We came here after going to the escape room, we didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us fairly quickly, we came in time for the lunch offer which was well worth it, my boys wolfed down so much pizza I think they might have lost money on us. The staff were nice and friendly, the pizza was as you’d expect, typical Pizza Hut pizza, the salad bar was nice and did feel sanitary (I’ve been a bit weary of open food stations since covid) this is just like any Pizza Hut but with a superhero theme randomly.

I will never again frequent this Pizza Hut . I haven’t been to any huts in 2 years but usually go to North Finchley . Which is always great . First of all it’s a very weird and atmosphere less experience with at table online ordering. So you have no communication with your server . The food and salad bar was prepared with no care or pride in what was being produced by the kitchen . It all tasted like cardboard. And to make matters worse the service was excruciatingly slow . I mean I don’t mind waiting a bit if it’s worth the wait . This sadly was not . I only went there because didn’t have time to wait at TGIs . If I’d known it was going to be so slow . I’d have waited for the TGI table . Never again.

We order 2 pizzas for delivery and margarita pizza was not possible to eat. It was so overcook and black in same parts . Never order again

Visited here about 3 times now after going to the cinema. Always been good but yesterday was not the best, it was 7:20 on a Saturday and we were told by a staff member at the door that they had no individual pizzas left only large pizzas to share because we were hungry and wanting to get home we excepted this. We were seated at the table and I asked the waitress if they had any flatbread pizzas she said no so I had a choose your own pizza which I shared with my sister. The food came out promptly but they had muddled up the basis (I asked for tomato and my sister wanted bbq). I feel the place needs a revamp, the seats looked torn and worn out, the wall paper was peeling off the wall and the light on the ceiling near to our table flashed continuously which was annoying! The staff are friendly enough

Pizza wasn’t what I ordered but it tasted good never the less . Hot and didn’t take to long for it to be made fresh

We received disgraceful service from this restaurant. We were told within 5 minutes of ordering to get our salad as the “unlimited free salad” was about to be cleared away! And our plates were taken from us before we had even finished eating to which we pointed this out and the waiter just shrugged and took them anyway!!! I find it unbelievable that we had to shove pizza down our throats so they could clear the table! We had only been there 39 minutes maximum and there was only one other table taken by another family! They had plenty of spare tables and it wasn’t that it was even closing time, it was 5pm! I can not express enough the disgraceful service and how unwelcome we were made to feel on my sons birthday. If we had have wanted rushed, fast food we would have gone to McDonald’s!!! And I actually wish we had have now!!

Good buffet lunch and excellent value at only £7.50 per adult. There is good choice of food from pizza, pasta and salad. Would say it would be better if more fresh pizzas as had to wait a little but overall happy.

I visited Pizza Hut in lakeside shopping centre with my mum, baby boy and some friends. The staff was very attentive considering it was a busy lunch time service. The buffet bar was very slow and we ended up ordering a pizza instead. After we had eaten I used the baby changing facilities. The toilet wasn’t big enough to take in the pushchair so I had to leave that outside the door. The pull down changing mat felt loose and felt unstable so much so I had to get my friend to help hold it up to make feel safer to change my baby. If I had been on my own it would have been a stressful situation and I will now avoid these facilities.

Great staff, good service and buffet had loads of choice, salad was very fresh, will be returning soon

“Please wait until we seat you” so we did and waited and waited after 3 members of staff saw us but no one wanted to seat us we were finally shown to a table which needed a good wipe down.After a longer than anticipated wait for our drinks and food order, we were late for the buffet so we ordered 2 large cheese filled meat feast pizzas, they were nice but could come with some form of dips to eat the cheesy base.The free salad is quite welcome but the coleslaw and potato salad needed refreshing badly.The free refills are a great idea and very welcome.Unfortunately the staff looked completely disinterested probably because they were trying to close parts of the restaurant and were working over Christmas but if you’re there try and show some enthusiasm and at least look like you want to be there.

We visited this branch of Pizza Hut (having had very good experiences previously) whilst having a much-needed catch-up with our family. We had to wait, which we didn't mind, but felt somewhat abandoned after fifteen minutes, which was when I went to see if we'd been forgotten. I was assured that we hadn't been forgotten; they were just waiting for a table to leave. After 10 more minutes we were finally seated and assured that our waitress would be with us shortly. After a while, two of our party decided that we'd waited long enough and started to help themselves to the buffet, which was what we had all decided to order anyway. Nobody took any notice. Then one of our party pointed out to a waitress that in fact we had not been served and had done so. Our order was then taken. Two of us ordered tea; the rest had refillable soft drinks. The tea arrived a good while after that, by which time we had nearly finished eating. One of our party wanted the pasta buffet but had to wait ages for that part to be topped up. I asked for the bill, which was a while arriving and then another wait for payment to be taken. The waitress had a clearly stroppy attitude when she saw that I had not added a gratuity. Would never go there again.

Popped in for a late lunch after shopping & both plumped for the £6.99 buffet option with refillable diet coke for my partner & a large house Merlot for me. The buffet included a good choice of popular pizzas (pepperoni, ham & pineapple, veggie options amongst others) which were all refreshed on a regular basis & 2 hot pasta dishes - penne in a bolognese type sauce & a creamy sauce. There was also a fair amount of salad type bits available, all in all plenty of choice. After our third serving we noticed our server seemed to get a bit twitchy with us, maybe we'd had our 'allotted' amount, didn't matter we were both full anyway. All the food was very tasty & we found the buffet option a very cheap way to refuel after a morning's shopping and a frustrating hour spent in the apple shop. The service was efficient & reasonably friendly if a little over zealous at times.

Bit grim to be honest.It was a deal as it was lunchtime, but half the pizzas were missing, and they wanted to close, yet took our money for a meal?????And the place was filthy. It looked like it had just hosted a chimps tea party

Last Went in November, last year whilst in lakeside, decided to give them another chance, but not any improvement, both had a buffet lunch, and sadly, pizza and salad were both empty, or rather, just bits and pieces left, in which, after been told, still didn't replace a lot, it was really busy, obviously with the children off school, and you would have thought that they would have prepared and cooked a lit more, knowing they would be busy, but obviously the staff don't care, perhaps they'll get their wish soon, and be empty, when people get to realise What it's like, then they can stand around talking to their hearts content, go elsewhere, it might be cheap, but it's not worth the hassle

Pizza Hut 800 Thurrock Lakeside Shopping Centre, Gray - excellent food - great service - highly recommend.

Having enjoyed the buffet lunch at the Pizza Hut on Chelmsford Retail Park many times, we decided to try the one in Lakeside on a first trip to the shopping mall.

Excellent food with a nice wide menu selection for all. Walking distance to shops and hotel. Plenty of parking.

On a Saturday night they had run out of all their drinks that weren't diet & as my husband is allergic to artificial sweeteners & can't drink anything diet, they offered him water. Even though we had already ordered, we left without eating. We weren't the only people unhappy & they really shouldn't have been open. Very strange on what would have undoubtedly been their busiest night! The customer service at this pizza hut was appalling & the management staff were condescending & patronising. Stay away from this establishment!

Visited on a lunchtime with my hubby, ordered a bottle of wine, we were both having the buffet, we went to get it, and were shocked, when we returned, to find 2 ladies sitting there, having been placed there by another waitress, I think they should have a method, put in place, to stop this happening in the future, however, eventually they moved, but they didn't want to, the meal itself, was okay, pizza pasta and salad, but to be fair, the dishes, on the salad bar, were nearly empty, and some were gone, as been filled up, but with them, taking so long, there wasn't much choice, the best part of it was the hot pasta,

Went here after a day at lakeside - and it was very busy. We were given a 20 min waiting time which turned into 5 mins. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to mix the sauce bases for sharing pizzas, which we were previously told that it wasn't possible. The staff also had no problem with gift cards, which also caused issues at different huts. Food was good as always - especially since the pizzas weren't as greasy as usual!

Fabulous pizza offer, great choice of pizzas and salad, friendly service, will definitely visit this one again

I have been to this pizza hut a lot in the past and always had great service. We arrived no warm welcome the restaurant wasn't busy but a few tables were dirty or covered in plates.

Visited here with the family lunchtime 12.30pm on a Thursday. We went for the buffet mix of pizza salad and pasta staff helpful and quick to seat us surprised to get s bill prior to eating or drinks however it saved time at the end of the meal.sadly this cant be a glowing review as we waited 40 mins for pasta by the time it came everyone was waiting for it and it became a bit of a joke we ended up complaining not just because of this but because staff would not give branch number to complete their own online review printed on the bill. Manager asked why we wanted it and offered to remove one buffet price not to complete the review. Other than the waiting we would have enjoyed our meal.

We keep going back to this Hut because it’s got a great ambience. Modern, clean, spacious, comfortable interior. Friendly and helpful staff. Service is quick.

Usually you know what you are getting for a lunchtime buffet. Especially when it is sold as "all you can eat pizza and pasta".....

Came up to lakeside shopping today Saturday thought I would stop at Pizza Hut for lunch was very well looked after by Paul today a fantastic guy very polite most helpful the pepper lid came off as I put some on my lunch spoke to Paul he sorted it a most helpful polite fantastic credit to Pizza Hut the food always tastie hot the place is spotless they had a birthday party on when I was there for 7year old they was well behaved at all times so to the managers of Pizza Hut lakeside you have a fantastic guy in Paul don't lose him people like Paul are a fantastic credit to the company so if you find your self in lakeside and fancy a Pizza go to Pizza Hut lakeside it's the best in the name of Pizza love mr cheeky in Kent

Coming here on a weekday is very hit and miss. I came here with a member of my family as we were craving some good pizza. We have been to this branch on a few other occasions. When we arrived there were two other tables and just one member of staff. I have encountered this before on a weekday and it is just not good enough. It takes a while to get the attention of the staff member and once ordered, if you need anything just like this occasion, I had to stand up and walk over to them to get their attention. We ordered an american base pizza and a salad. The salad was absolutely horrendous. The coleslaw was hard, the beetroot was hard as if it had no time to ripen and this was the general taste of the other vegetables. The pizza came out fairly promptly and tasted fine. As we were eating the restaurant started to fill up a little more but again people were waiting to be served and this is not right. This really needs to be sorted!

Place is separate from most the other food places local but still gets v busy. They have a salad cart which wasn't kept filled and the pizza came out burnt - yet no point in taking it back as it took long enough to get it to the table. Prob won't rush to head back here for food again

We were served by Paul by far the best service I have received explained the menu advised what was best, spoke to the children as well as smiled throughout. The little things that make this meal a memory.

Went for lunch buffet weren't organised so had to keep waiting for pizza, when did come out was fresh and nice but could only get a couple slices at a time as didn't bring out a lot and tended to be only one variety of pizza at a time being eaten far quicker than they were bringing it out

Didn't look that busy when I walked in, whether it was staffing issues or just complete ignorance the service was ridiculous. Waitress took our order quite quickly, but that's where the past stopped. Starters came and we're nice but then the empty plates sat on our table for 45 minutes. Pizza then eventually arrived and there was no where to put it. Dirty bowls and starter plates all over the table. After a few minutes of fussing, they finally worked out to take the dirty dishes away before they could deliver the now temped pizza. By this time appetites had passed and ended up taking the majority of our pizza home to reheat and eat in a calmer, less frantic environment. Will NOT be returning.

Went in about 40 mins from closing to grab a quick pizza before cinema: food was lovely but salad bar was running low and nothing was being topped up including sauces. We were asked at least twice if we were finished with the salad as they wanted to pack away. I get they needed to tidy but was a real rushed meal!

Went with my husband, ordered a bottle of wine, and both had buffet, when first arrived there were not many pizzas there, mentioned to waitress, she said it is okay, don't worry, they are in the oven, but really, as a buffet, pizzas should be plentiful, all the time, What we ate was okay, and 2 choices of pastas, salad was plentiful, plenty of choice, and you can go up as many times, as you wish, for only around £7 a head, you can't really moan cheap and cheerful

Nothing negative to say. The staff seem rushed off their feet but we were served in a reasonable amount of time. All was well, you get what you pay for

In my mind it's like how a Benidorm buffet would be total chaos.One minute there was 4-5 pizzas next gone within seconds and then a long wait.To be honest I really can believe when you pay they ask for a tip on the card machine.They take your order that's it lol.Probably not again

We had the lunchtime buffet which was lukewarm and uninspiring. None of the pizzas were labelled so it was all a bit of a mystery as to what pizza was what. They were all pretty bland. I don't think I will bother going again.The staff were pleasant. They seem to work hard.

We was welcomed okay- asked them to warm a pot of baby food for me which they did with no problems- we sat to eat & it was terrible! The staff were moody and unhappy seriously lacking moral they were slow & blatantly dont enjoy their job. There was literally no pizza on the buffet section asked the lad how long he checked a computer and said 3 mins... Yeah sure as 15 mins past the pizza finally came out as we sat waiting with no food starving and raring to go! But filled up on fizzy refillable drink disappointed is an understatement wont be returning and think people should be advised when being seated if there is a delay in food times as was not overly busy approx 8 tables and us.. Other than that my main bit of advice is smile at your customers it goes a long way!

We went to this restaurant for a late lunch before shopping and have been here before. The waitress was friendly and helpful but we waited about 45 mins for our starter and then when it came we were told that our pizza was ready too and would bring it out. We asked that it wait as we wanted our starter first. Staff were happy with that. We ate our starter then asked for the pizza. It came very dry as it had been kept warm but it the sauce was the wrong sauce. I cannot eat the tomato base to a medical condition so always order the bbq sauce. It came with tomato sauce. The waitress again was very happy to order another one which we agreed. We then waited more time still waiting for the pizza. We were there about hour and half only having our starter we had to go so informed the waiter of the fact. So our late lunch turned into a couple of slice of garlic bread.

I've been to the Pizza Hut at the outside retail park in Lakeside Thurrock Grays a few times. The service is usually quite slow but tonight was not even good slow. They probably have the slowest takeaway service I've experienced to place or collect orders - food okay but noobs about to take an order or when you pick up. Tonight we sat in. The service was slow but then I received pop corn shrimp starter ! Expecting it on a plate lime slice and dip I was wrong it came in the small metal pot no lime no dip and not even on a plate . No change of cutlery having used what was on the table for the salad . No one asked if it was ok or how we were fining the meal. A family member had a pizza which was burnt and could not eat much of it. It was not enjoyable at all . The young staff were slow with little direction by anyone and although ok the test of the food disappointing.

After a day of shopping we chose to have pizza for dinner.Food was hot and very tasty and service was excellent, nothing was to much trouble. Staff were friendly and very accommodating

Visited Pizza Hut while shopping in lakeside retail park.Got seated straight away and lady who served us was excellent very attentive. Pizza tasted great like that the salad bar is now all you can eat and so is the drinks bar which has different flavoured pepsi's like most restaurants now the strawberry is my favourite.I found the meal very good value for money. Only downside I would say is the ladies toilets they really need refurbishing very tired doors and locks not great.

As we were going round Lakeside we decided to have lunch here. The staff were amazing, we didn't have the buffet, so expected to be waiting longer for food but was served very quickly which was nice. Overall a very good experience seeing as how busy they were.

Ate here early Tuesday evening. Staff thin on the ground but considering how quiet the restaurant was its understandable. Salad bar fully stocked and service was good. Food very tasty, but then it's rare to get a bad meal here.

My friend and I had a good experience at Pizza Hut. The previous time I'd visited this restaurant it was really cold due to air conditioning and loud annoying music and I vowed never to go again. Anyhow that was a while back. This time the restaurant was warm enough. The music was still irritating. However the staff were pleasant and welcoming. The buffet lunch was very nice with plenty of choices including several vegetarian options. The salad was crisp, fresh looking and clean.We had a good meal. It was very good value. I would visit again.I kept the bill and filled in the brief questionnaire online and got a 241 on a main meal voucher to be used within a month.

We popped in here for a quick lunch as didn't want a full on meal but nor a burger drive through. No problems getting a table and the service was prompt and efficient at our table. We had a couple of Americano pizzas, one gluten free, and they were tasty if not hard to cut up with seemingly blunt knives. The salad bar was always well stocked during our multiple visits and it all came to a little over £26 for the pair of use so reasonable. Ultimately it's a Pizza Hut so you should know what you're doing to expect. It's not going to be exquisite fine dining but it will be better than eating greasy chicken with your fingers!

This was without doubt my worst experience in any Pizza Hut. They seemed like they were short staffed, salad bar was literally empty , waited 25 mins for part of it to be refilled. No tortilla crisp , no knife and forks on table and when I requested them it took 10 mins to arrive. Staff seemed very stressed out when the store wasn't even that busy. Each request seemed like a lot of trouble to the staff . Pizza was not hot either more like warm. Never going back to this branch again . Also asked for chicken starters which never arrived however as staff looked stressed out and and everything seemed too much trouble I didn't bother asking for it again

I just want to make it clear this review is for the branch of Pizza Hut in the retail park of Thurrock rather than inside the shopping centre. We have been to other branches of Pizza Hut maybe 3 times in the past year and I always have the heavenly veg pizza as it is a really good vegetarian option with goats cheese and olives. Today however, having ordered that pizza I was firstly surprised when it arrived with about 4 times the usual amount of rocket dumped on top of it, but oh well I like rocket so fine. When I began eating it it became very clear there was no goats cheese and VERY obvious the rocket had been very generously applied to disguise that fact. I didn't particularly want to carry on eating the rather plain cheese pizza when the only reason we had even gone to that restaurant was that I especially like the goats cheese on it! It took ages to get the attention of our waitress to tell her, however eventually she came. She took it back to the kitchen, returning saying that the kitchen had indeed made a mistake. I do really find it so irritating them clearly trying to cover it up rather than being honest in the first place. The waitress said another one was being put in the oven and would be ten minutes or so..but my family would definitely have finished by then and obviously we would want to eat together! Plus the fact we had my 2 year old with us who would be getting bored by then. So I basically said no, the original pizza had been taken away and would be cold anyway so went without lunch. My family weren't very keen on eating now that I couldn't. Our lunch was just ruined. My husband expressed this to the waitress Flavia S (name on receipt) but she wasn't interested. In my irritation I said I would be writing on Tripadvisor and she literally laughed! She did then ask if we wanted the manager and we said yes, however he never showed up. There was no apology and when we told Flavia we weren't happy she shrugged. My pizza was not charged for but considering the whole lunch was ruined I would expect more. Just a good and apologetic attitude would go a very long way. Also not being sneaky trying to cover up getting the order wrong.

Buffet lunch is pretty good in terms of budget and quality wise. Obviously they are not the best option pizza but it's good enough for £6.99.

Went there on a lunchtime had a decent bottle of wine, you could have had a bottomless fizzy drink, we had the buffet which includes salad pizza and pasta as much as you like for £6.99 it was very nice, it is what it is, the service was excellent, you got the bill when you ordered, total bill was £30.90 everything was great, would recommend this

We ate at Pizza Hut in the retail park Thurrock near Lakeside shoppin centre. Welcoming staff. Food much nicer and refined than any other Pizza Hut we have been to. The sauce on the pizza has a nicer taste to it and the food was done to perfection and served on time. Environmentally clean. Great atmosphere. No booking taken. Turn up and wait in the queue. Quite popular so there's a little waiting list. Great time.

What a lovely venue, we walked in and sat down, think we were really lucky. Great high level of hygiene as seen by the clean floors and tables and salad area spotless. The Lady who served us made us welcome and checked on us during the whole meal. Food was great and the value was spot on. Highly recommended, we shall try them again.

It has been a few years since I've been into a Pizza Hut, but while looking around Lakeside we decided to try it for a change. It was just after 5pm on a Saturday and we walked straight in and had our choice of tables. We decided to have a 14" cheese bites pizza split 50:50, my half being a blazin' inferno and my Wife's half a King of the Coast. You now get free unlimited side salads with a main meal, so it's good value. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine to go with it. The salad bar is still very good with a few more options for toppings. We had our salads finished by the time the pizza arrived. The pizza was fantastic. My part was really hot and I loved the cheese bites crust, so much better than stuffed crust. The only two issues were the table next to us remained uncleared for the entire time we were in the restaurant, which is just a bit off putting, plus the men's toilets were not particularly clean, but for food and value it was pretty good.

We went for a buffet meal around lunchtime and it was quite empty, but soon filled up as we were eating. There were only 2 of us and for some reason we were seated at a table of 4 when there were many places for 2 people.The food was generally delicious, but the pizza I got to start with was cold. I planned to go up twice and on the second time deliberately waited for staff to bring pizzas before going up, and as expected they were warmer, though not very hot. This has to improve. The pasta was hot and I enjoyed this along with the salad.During our meal we overheard conversations between staff about seating for customers. One couple even moved themselves and that added to the confusion. A dropped glass also did not help! Overall a good meal, but a bit disorganised in there.

Our team of 9, having just walked out of Frankie and Benny's due to the rude inattentive staff, was greeted by a couple of happy and helpful staff who seated us almost straight away. The food was Pizza Hut, you know what you're getting, we even found a voucher that knocked nearly forty quid off the bill on google too! Left a good tip to the good staff that were there that fully deserved it! Well done!

pizza hut inside lakeside is always freezing with air con on all the time, so went to the pizza hut at retail park. As we walked in you could feel the cold air and people sitting with their jackets and jumpers on. This is not really comfortable when you want to sit and have a meal. You sit there very uncomfortable and cant wait to leave. I did ask a member of staff to put the warm air on, she commented about it being really hot during the day but this is evening time and I was not the only one sitting with coat on. Evening time in this country you do not ever need air con.

Met friends here to eat as we were in the area. Unfortunately it was a typical Pizza Hut - sticky menu's, tables not cleared and lacking staff taking note that the drinks/salad cart need refilling. The drinks service was attentive although the glasses were not very clean. Trying to understand what size pizza we were ordering and how many it would feed was confusing, 11" or 14" were the choices and even the waiter couldn't explain how many slices these were. Although it was a free salad cart with a main meal, the bowls were taken away after the first helping so this was not "unlimited" helpings as advertised. The menu was certainly not legendary as Pizza Hut market it to be and I would not return to eat here.

We arrived at 12 for the buffet. There's no drink service you have to help yourself!Considering it was quite busy you would think they would have a good selection of pizza out! They had three available cheese pepperoni and a veggie one! We had to ask for them to cook some more as there was no choice!The waitress was very chavy and was moaning about one of the elderly customers asking for directions!Would not eat here again!

First visit to this restaurant. Arrived around 4.30pm. But no staff on hand to Greet new customers.? Not a good start So we found ourselves a table and waited for a Waitress. Once ordered the food arrived in good time and was cooked well

The staff are very helpful and are nice. The interior of the restaurant looks like it has just been renovated or built. The food is a load of garbage and is overpriced. I was lucky that was just me and my friend because it would have costed much more if the children was with us :)

Popped into lakeside Pizza Hut with the kids we didn't have a reservation but they fitted us in straight awayThe staff were great could not do enough for usThe food arrived quickly and was good Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon

Went with the family for the first time. The pizza was cold we returned it and got another one but no difference. The size of the portions were ok but they taste horrible and no one bothered to ask us if we liked the food or service. Normally I only put down reviews if I really liked the place or it's really horrible and sorry to say it was a bad experience.

Ann was our waitress and she was brillian. Great service, didnt wait very long before ordering drinks and food, buffet was to a decent standard and the pizzas were very tasty. Hadn't been to pizza hut since i was a teenager and it has definitely gone up in the world. Overall very pleased!

Went on a Saturday evening. Waited at door for ages before any staff member bothered to say hallo or guide us to a table. I actually said I'm going to give them another 60 seconds before I walk out. We were seated on what was the only clear table as all the tables around had plates, glasses, crayons, napkins, kids playsheets, etc on them. Took ages for a drink order. No personal pizzas available only large. Is this incompetence by the ordering manager or a not so subtle attempt to force me to spend more money ? Then ordered my pizza and told - sorry we've only got one of four pizza bases available !! Pizza was overcooked and I did query whether the pizza in front of me was what I ordered as it had no sweet peppers on it ! The young girl spoke so fast I couldn't understand 90% of what she said. To top it off I could hear the loud girl slag other customers off when they didn't leave her a tip. Not surprised they didn't, with a dirty, understaffed restaurant with crap service and a limited menu. Would not go again.

Went for Pizza as we needed to eat however service was not great. Waitress was not at all friendly she was quite curt, when I ask if other pizzas were coming, all I got was" they come out all the time! "There was only a few bits of pizza left there and only pepperoni and a beef one which I didn't eat so I got some salad and waited.Our teas were brought to our table (Teabags in a cup) and I got the eyes up to heaven look as I was just eating salad! She said again that they were bringing them out all the time! and walked off. We all caught it and commented on her rude attitude.Shortly as we were seated next to the pizzas, new pizzas came up and I got some Vegetarian and some Margaretta pizza which was very nice and hot.The problem with the pizzas is that they are not labeled so you don't know which is which, something that the restaurant should address.Again restaurant okay service poor.

Have not had a meal in Pizza Hut for years but called in at Lakeside one evening and was surprised by how good the pizza was and by the really good and attentive service from Paul.

Depending on when you go service can be good or bad. It's a BIG chain, it's normal.I'll be honest, I've not been to a Pizza Hut for quite a long time and it's obvious they've changed the menu options and salad bar.Firstly the salad bar....I'm guessing there are no cheaper ingredients available. Seriously, cheap packet tortillas as a salad item?.. I'm guessing anything fresh with vitamins will go next like it has in American Pizza Huts in the past few years. As for the pizza options. I used to be able to get a 4 slice personal pizza for approximately a fiver.. Nope not any longer.Now it's more expensive and has six slices and I don't eat it all as its to big for lunch. Obviously an improvement the bosses think. Rather than pay more as they think may happen, I now just go to Pizza Express that does a lunch sized pizza.Oh well

Had dinner here, was shown to a table almost immediately. Waited an age for our drinks order to be taken. This is one of Pizza huts refurbished resturants, they offer extras on the menu - ribs being one of the items.The food was good, exactly what you expect from Pizza hut, hopefully they will expand the extended menu to other Pizza Huts.

Pizza Hut food does the trick. Some good offers good salad bar and the ice cream factory is always good. Good choice of pizzas to choose from, also pasta as well. This place is best for family

I had my Birthday at the restaurant and invited a few friends, the food wasn't too great. Although the flat pan pizza was good. Do not eat the cold salad starters. Overall, not great value for money.But a great place in a great location to merry with friends and have a laugh or catchup.

Arrived for lunch mon 14th April. We had 2 adults and 1child. 1 buffet, 1main adults pizza and 1 children's pizza. Everything was excellent, the buffet was fresh with pizza and the salad was lovely, including the main meals. The lady with the dark hair who served us was lovely, excellent customer service skills, nothing was too much trouble she was running around taking orders as they had a lot of people coming in before midday. She should be praised for her hard work!Only thing I would say is on the way out there were 3 young waitresses girls at the entrance/exit and not one of them said thank you or goodbye, instead they were talking about 1 of them going round her friends house at the weekend whilst she was out, if it wasn't for this, would have been a 5 star!

It was ok, but slow, over 40 mins for the pizza to arrive, and the salad bar was a mess, they did sort it out after I complained, there were plenty of staff and it was not over busy so no excuses really.
